hey y'all, so there's another group of lgbt refugees who need your help. I'm also running this fund, but I can't contribute as much because I'm mostly focused on Abdul.

Boring Fact Corner!
I'm actually primarily a traditional artist. 99.9% of what I do is pen, marker, collage, Posca, acrylic or lately even oil paint. I just don't like taking photos of my art because they never turn out well. That, and everything I post here is fanart and I don't want that stuff lying around in physical space where people I know could see it. Even though it is all very innocuous and normal art, I can be a very private person.
I do want to post on here more, but I have this semi-rational fear that I'll accidentally post something BAD or EMBARRASING and then some day I'll get famous and people will find out this is my account and the Whole World will know about the BAD or EMBARRASING thing I said/drew/reblogged all those years ago.

I personally think the fact that Skyler was pregnant and then newly postpartum for the majority of the show gets glossed over way too often lol. Not in an "oh pregnant women and new moms are soooo emotional 🙄" way either, but moreover like how deeply deranged a lot of Walt's behavior towards her really is in that context. Like here is this woman who is pushing 40, experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and all the financial and emotional concerns that come with that, raising a son who has a disability and handling all of the unique responsibilities and challenges that are a part of that experience, coping with what was essentially sold to them as a death sentence for her husband, all while also having to get back into the workforce after an extended time at home. It's crazy how vulnerable of a position Skyler was in during the time when Walter was sneaking around behind her back, lying and engaged in illegal activities right under her nose. Walt consistently harps on the stakes of his situation but ppl seem to completely disregard the weight of Skyler's. She gave birth without Walt. Handled the sleepless nights and diaper changes and night feedings and newborn tears without him. When she desperately asks him to get diapers at bedtime, he can't even do that for her without traumatizing Jesse and going to a bar while he's out of the house. Sometimes I remember that Skyler was an aspiring writer and I just want to cry lol. Losing so much of herself in motherhood and caught up in Walter White's web of lies and abuse. that's a tragedy of Breaking Bad I seldom see discussed but it's one I think about every time I watch the show. Skyler White you will always be one of my favorites, I love you so much

It's a bit incredible and amazing to me how many people are still making awesome hlvrai animatics and amv's and stuff. Because it feels like, in the past few years, the fandoms for most things have had terrible longevity, and only really been active if new stuff comes out. Which is on one level kind of understandable but it also bums me out a bit. So I'm glad that really cool hlvrai fan stuff is still being made.

Hey, do any of you people remember that one tf2 comic where soldier is talking to a bunch of wooden cutouts thinking they’re real people? You know how it was supposed to be a joke about how insane Soldier is, unable to differentiate the inanimate from the alive? Am I the only one who lost my mind about the implications of that or am I going just as insane as him.

I don't really know what the plot of fight club is, other than that two of the guys are actually one guy and that soap carving might be involved in some capacity, but all this is just to say that I want to join a secret club where we fight each other for fun. Maybe we could get slushies afterwards or something. I don't know.
It's very cool in terms of narrative symmetry that Scout grew up with 7 older brothers and his mom, and then he ends up working and living with 7 older guys and (unknowingly) his dad.
He obviously really wants to be seen as mature and tough and grown up but I imagine that's hard to do when you're living in a 1:1 mirror of your childhood. Perpetual Youngest Sibling curse.
I think I'm gonna get back into posting here but it's probably going to be a lot of tf2 related stuff, so apologies to everyone who did not follow me for that.
