Our beloved friend and LGBTQ+ refugee, Kawooya, is in critical condition. He’s suffering from severe intestinal complications due to untreated ulcers — caused by prolonged starvation and lack of medical care in the camp.

Doctors say he urgently needs surgery to survive. The cost is $1,000, which is far beyond what we can raise alone.
