How about Father's day
Happy Mother's day to all the mothers out there, and me also
“Did you just stab m—”
Yes. It was a double edged sword, and I made you come closer so it'd take the both of us with it.
(Sorry I like getting poetical)
@certifiedsungod SOBSOB. THEY'RE SO US DUDE I'M GONNA START SOBBING. I LOVE YOU.
Fruitbowl's shingi mention ...
More unsolicited trivia !
A lot less than what I have for Fruitbowl BUT
On his own Kogitsune's physical form is o l d, when 'merged' with Fruitbowl he temporarily turns young again. But that's not usually visible since he's wearing a mask 90% of the time.
Fruitbowl has ... only the name Fruitbowl. He introduces himself either literally as Fruitbowl, or simply as 'a medicine seller'. His shingi gets the name Lǚ, but he's given the nickname Kogitsune by Fruitbowl as a reference to the play from which basically his entire appearance comes from. Lǚ himself feels conflicted about this nickname.
My sillies 🩷 They get along well on occasion !!

Tyrant and his brother.... but it's not his brother......it's an illusion for comfort
He's dreaming of his brother not abandoning him
Various Zorua Tyrant doodles.... I'm trying very hard to somehow make it possible and reasonable lore-wise to have him reunite with Volo because his story hurts me physically despite the fact that I made that stuff
when you have to make a new account because you had to factory reset your phone... Because it wouldn't take ur fuckass pin... And now half your passwords and accounts are missing and your WhatsApp hasn't backup'ed since LAST YEAR MAY.. help.
I figured out how to buy badges... it's so over for my money
Oh my goodness I very much have to elaborate on their relationship
I have decided to give myself the freedom of letting them be even more messed up because I have been having the immense urge to do so since the beginning but I wasn't confident enough for it
THESE TWO.... pls ignore if I'm less intricate or something here I feel like this loredump is gonna be more messy in a way??
Fridolin is SEVERELY dependent on Zinzolin. Like, to an obviously unhealthy degree. Zinzolin picked him up when he was at his worst, taught him to blame himself for all the shit that happened to him under the guise of helping him improve himself and his whole 'sage-in-training- status. Zinzolin and the work he gives Fridolin lets Fridolin feel a sense of purpose and in some way makes him feel like he's redeeming himself from his past actions (which were totally all his fault definitely). Fridolin essentially develops a borderline obsession with Zinzolin.
Zinzolin could not care LESS about Fridolin.... like, seriously, that's just another dude who conveniently got very attached to him and would protect him with his life. Except there is this weird sense of pride there, also. Zinzolin doesn't like it because it's already too much of an attachment in his eyes, but he is proud of Fridolin's achievements. Fridolin is after all very much his mentee, and seeing him actually succeeding and even excelling at his duties makes him feel proud. Something which Zinzolin likes even less is that there is an odd sense of care he feels for Fridolin, at least eventually he does.
There's definitely a mutual care between the two even if Zinzolin doesn't like acknowledging it. That care is however very twisted and messed up!
It's a horrible little mix of borderline romantic, purely manipulative, desperation to get over someone else from both sides and an odd platonic appreciation.
Zinzolin tries hard to keep their relationship purely work-based but he fails miserably at it.. There is never anything explicitly romantic between them. Zinzolin wouldn't let it get to that point. (Bear with me here I really can't describe this the same way I tried my best to do with the other lore dumps)
The distancing really doesn't work. It's a constant "only once, only this small thing" which just ends with things happening again and again. Like I mentioned before they are not explicitly romantic and there's boundaries that are never crossed but it's smaller stuff that happens over and over again which has this borderline romantic undertone (I'm doing my best here to word this).
Only image I have of one example... like Fridolin being allowed to sit on Zinzolin's desk. That's a thing. Fridolin sees this as one of his greatest accomplishments, that is his spot and he has it because Zinzolin at the very least tolerates him. It makes him feel validated. Zinzolin keeps telling himself that it's, well, a one time thing! That it's just for fun, to see and maybe internally laugh at how giddy Fridolin gets over it. It's not. Not entirely anyways. Partially it's also because he does enjoy Fridolin's company.
They rely on each other to cope with the fact that they're trying to get over someone else.. Fridolin sees his entire past way of living as wrong, that includes his relationship. He blames himself for getting distracted, and considers the reason for his distraction to be his ex.. who he never officially broke up with but that's just a fun fact. Zinzolin is trying to distract himself from his weird feelings for Ghetsis which he wishes didn't exist. They use their bond with each other as a means of coping with this.
Fun image depicting Fridolin debating if he could style his hair to look like whatever Ghetsis has going on and whether that would get his boss to love him or not...
They are. Incredibly messed up. Both of them. And they both grow dependent on each other to each different degrees. I really can't get myself to explain this in a more organized and thorough way this will just have to do.. but yay!!! Giving myself the freedom to let them be like this!!!!!!!
Me when I do pokemon oc lore on a whim!!!!

He's german ... or from ( insert some not canonically existent germany inspired region here ) . He was born in Unova tho so..
He makes use of the language barrier this gives him with most people he meets .
He's " german " from his mother's side of the family . Which technically also means I have to headcanon Bronius as " german " so that's a thing now ..
Fridolin's dad is Galarian !!
@certifiedsungod devastation at its finest WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS MOVIE 💔💔💔💔
When Bae (next to you) posts Fridolin lore so you have to momentarily ignore the fever dream Ghibli queerbait movie.
Just so you know before this we watched Ponyo and before that grave of the fireflies. Trauma
Tyrant infodump/loredump because he means so much to me,, and a bit of elaborating on his pokemon form's design... yapping because I can
Also colored this because hell yeah
Writing down everything again because uhhhhh yes
Tyrant was created by Arceus as a counterpart to Volo, serving as a sort of demigod representative of pokemon, while Volo represents humanity. Not only that, but Tyrant was created with the intent of him being a kind of embodiment of innocence and childishness, he was supposed to be a beacon of positivity and gentleness among the already rather chaotic dynamic of the creation trio. He was however also tasked with a "hero" type of role. If there was a major problem, threat and the likes of that which humans alone couldn't deal with, it would be Tyrant's job to take care of it.
This duty didn't pair well with Tyrant's aspect of childishness and youth, though. Not because he couldn't do it, simply because it didn't exactly go well together. The very first time in which he had to prevent a disaster which humans couldn't on their own was back in Hisuian times, when he had to fight Volo, his own brother, to prevent the literal destruction of the world (pla plot and stuff)... Volo was in a way everything to Tyrant. The only real family he'd had, the person he could always come back to for support, someone he could rely on. Volo left Tyrant on mount coronet with the words that he was "old enough to care for himself" now. Tyrant wasn't, he wouldn't ever be.
Volo's disappearance completely shattered the bubble Arceus had raised Tyrant with, that certainty that everything would always be alright in the end. People around him celebrated the prevention of the world's end, but Tyrant's whole world had pretty much been destroyed after that fight on mount coronet.
After losing Volo, Tyrant became fixated on the idea that he had to be independent, that relying on other people was something completely unforgivable for him to do. He was a hero, chosen by Arceus, why would he have to rely on anyone?? Problem with that is that it's not how he works, independence and maturity was never intended for Tyrant. He is a child, if not physically, there will still forever be something childish stuck with him, in his mind.
He did still cling to Lian for a while, up until Lian's death actually, after which Tyrant reverted to living full-time as a pokemon. And even then, he distanced himself from other pokemon, never allowing himself to quite bond with any of them.
He rejoins human society during bw times, and fails miserably at it. Physically, by then, Tyrant is in his early to mid twenties. It takes him a while, but he does manage to figure out how to actually act his physical age after a while of awkward fails and coaching himself at it. That only worsens his already terrible mental state! Tyrant convinces himself that this is the perfect life for him, he convinces himself that, because Volo's whereabouts and wellbeing are still not exactly known, he has to manage watching over humans as well as pokemon. He should be old enough to take care of himself, so he should also be old enough to take on this duty. That's what being an adult is all about, independence and duties, at least that's how he's explained it to himself.
He copes with this existence very poorly, or not at all. He regularly has breakdowns during which he cannot control his shape-shifting abilities and trashes nearly anything around him, or moments in which he reverts to his form as a child, which he just beats himself up about because that's "too immature for him". Tyrant wasn't made to function without Volo, or at least any other caretaker, by his side. And so he doesn't function without those.
He's not human, and he will never quite be an adult, that is how Arceus made him to be. Tyrant's attempts at forcing himself into a strictly human life, as an adult at that, does nothing but harm to him.
Now the design yapping...
Tyrant is supposed fit in with the creation trio while also looking much more like an actual animal, and more innocent.... a lot weaker and more meek than the other deities. He's a little lamb wrapped up in a blanket of fur, basically. He's of course still supposed to look a bit off, more powerful than, like, your average Wooloo. But I definitely tried my best to let him keep a bit of a cutesy design??
He's not small in comparison to humans, he's about at Arceus' shoulder height (he can alter his height but I'd say that's the closest to his natural height).. but smaller than the rest of the creation trio!! I also wanted him to be a bit more Arceus-ish with the .. collar thingy around his neck, because he is considered Arceus' son.. I don't think I quite managed to do that?? Aside from that I wanted him to look like a package. A little bag. That's why he has those bow-like things.
Fun fact, the only part of him that's soft is that bag-looking part. That's wool-like. The rest of him has more of a smooth surface.
That's all :]]
