Lunar Serrif
- Official height is 6'11
- He/Him
- His magic was altered when he started to starve, up until he unknowingly ate human flesh. He grew stronger, and is physically the strongest Papyrus as a result
- Loves flower language
- He has stretched out and thinner bones from unstable magic and starvation
- He has quick reflexes due to his time underground, but unlike Saint this is a constant state that he is in
- Has a dangerous temper, though he's improved since he's reached the surface
- Is sometimes too blunt to the point that he has little to no filter since he finds lying to be pointless
- He is an amazing cook, but overtime he's grown to bake instead since it lacks meat
- He is more weary about giving second chances and trusting others
- He worries about his brother constantly, though there is an undertone of bitterness when he thinks about him. He loves his brother, of course he does, but there are some things he hates when it comes to what Saint does
- He hates being the center of attention after his trauma nowadays, and prefers to shrink in on himself
- Good friends with Pitch and the others, but is especially close with him in private
- He is working to heal from the anger and trauma Saint unintentionally caused, their relationship is strained
- Will use violence if necessary, but doesn't like it
- kind, reserved, honest, idealistic but weary, loyal, self conscious, empathetic, open minded, compassionate, protective, cynical, observant, and patient
- Overall, he prefers cats
- Would be interested in gardening
- Does not curse often but will
- Yellowed bone, ash tinted due to starvation
- A huge romantic, but he doesn't focus on it anymore
- He doesn't say anything, but he feels inferior when around Cyperus
- He craves companionship in small portions, he doesn't value large crowds of friends anymore. This is especially true because he knows that he'd just be more lonely
- He has a scary amount of knowledge about others because he makes sure to remember everything. He has the best memory out of all Papyri except Cash and Rus, but even then what Lunar remembers is especially acute to even the most simple of things
- fucking terrifying when he's fighting, he's cold and calculated without so much as flinching. However, he doesn't like this side of him
- Will dissect people psychologically
- Talks to himself out of loneliness sometimes, a habit from the underground
- Cries quietly, but sniffles a lot and hides
- Would call his lover sugar
- Being part of the royal guard became a painful necessity when underground, it protected him and his brother
- He helped other monsters underground when no one else did, even if that did mean that he had to get hurt sometimes
- Hates the sensation of mud due to the texture reminding him of blood
- Like Cyperus, he's hyper aware of his strength but now he's extra careful when handling things
- He practices gentleness with gardening
- He has more sensitive teeth than he'd like to admit, especially since he had to tolerate it before. He is skilled at making something moist and soft such as baked goods and meat
- His favorite passtime is puzzles, so he'll do things such as word puzzles when he's above surface
- He's reluctant to be physically affectionate, especially nowadays. So, if he lifts you up, you can expect it to be the exact amount of delicacy that's needed
- Physically, he is the strongest Papyrus and he's been considered especially dangerous because he doesn't need to use his magic often
-Others being sincere about wanting to be close with him is a rarity, so he'll be taken aback. Nonetheless, he values it to the point he'd do anything for those he cares about. Anything
- Has a bald cat named June who has a missing leg
- He is pained to admit that he doesn't see Undyne as his friend anymore, that she's someone else. He is even afraid of her.
-Because he's had to lie so much when Underground, he can diffuse a situation and know exactly what to say to avoid conflict
- He is not intimidated by the other Papyri, but there are some things he envies from them
- Magic smells like caramel, magic tastes like peach
Y/N who can see Dust!Sans papyrus. Papyrus, aiming to fix Dusts loneliness, lures her to him. (This can take place in a bad sans trio universe where dust just hops AU’s for funsies)
Ohohoho I appreciate the specifics, it helps me with knowing what you want. This'll be fun :-]‼️💥
Be warned, my silly ass actually has a fun interpretation for Papyrus when it comes to Dust and him. And for the sake of some plot hole answers, I'll give you a little treat when it comes to soulmates being involved. So, hopefully you'll like this take on it!
Hm. Something is wrong, very wrong. Where is he? Where is he where is he where is he where- no. no. This is normal. Paps always had a strange way of disappearing occasionally. His magic must be low, he hasn't dusted anyone in awhile. He has Saint and Killer, which keeps him company at least. Sure, Killer is a pain in the ass, but it's better than being alone. It's not like he needed to constantly hear his brother scolding him, but he feels a little emptier now. That's a whole part of his soul. One speck of his dust leaving his soul is a rare occurrence, a rare one indeed. Pap wouldn't use this to disappear somewhere though, right?
...
Where the fuck is he? It's getting awfully more uncomfortable for him when it's time to sleep, he can't focus on anything other than him. His one true companion, the one last remains of his own universe. For fucks sake he's been even confronted by Nightmare about what has been bothering him. Saint knows. Of course he does. Saint can tell that the absence of-...someone is affecting him. It's not like Paps doesn't appear every now and again, when his magic is strong. It's a small perk for his brother, especially since Dust is usually the only one who can see him. Killer asked him about his brother too, but he couldn't stop himself from walking off when he did.
Where is he? Why has he been gone for so long? Why? Why why why why why wh-
.....
He wants him to come back.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Lately, you've been having strange dreams. Or... hallucinations?? It always happens at night, and you swear that it's not a normal thing for you to see a floating skull talking to you. Papyrus was his name. Ah- yes. That's a name that you haven't heard before, but it's pleasant. He's pleasant. Right now, he is talking to you about what used to be his favorite hobbies.
"Truly, I actually never could master how to cook spaghetti! It's not like it's my favorite food- that's dinosaur oatmeal- but everyone else likes it!! I always ruined it, but somehow my brother would eat it-"
"Brother?" You chipped in, interrupting his ramblings. He didn't seem to mind, his empty eye sockets seemed to somehow gleam when you asked. You were sitting up in bed, and he floated across from you with his gloved hands moving theatrically as he waved away an invisible line of thought. His mandibles opened as he grinned. He always had such a charming yet slightly off-putting smile.
"Yes, of course!! He's my older brother. He's still alive, actually! He goes by a different name nowadays, and he's...changed over time. But-!" Papyrus' skull leaned forward, his hands leaving a strange cold sensation that felt like icy air embracing your hands. You don't know why your chest made a strange feeling bubble up. "He's still a very kind skeleton. I wish you could meet him," He finished, his voice slightly softening from his usual boisterous tone. You smiled at this, tilting your head to the side as you humoured this idea. You wanted to know more about this skeleton and his apparent brother, but it's not like you didn't believe him. It's just that a part of you still clung onto the idea that you just happen to be having multiple strange dreams of the same skeleton with different conversations.
"Yeah? Well...what is he like? How much has he apparently changed?" You inquired, which seemed to cause Papyrus to hesitate. "Ah-...well. He used to be laid-back, happy. I remember how he happened to be quite popular and loved by others, with his charm and all. I found it irritating when he would prank me, spew nothing but lame puns, but nowadays I-....I miss those times. He's more...-"
One gloved hand waved slightly, as if he was trying to conjure up a description.
"Reserved now. He struggles with taking care of himself and connecting with others. He did something really...bad, a long time ago. He hasn't been the same sense, and sometimes it worries me. I think that someone like you could get through to him though!" "Why's that?"
Papyrus didn't answer quickly, and you didn't miss the slight spark of delight in his eyes. "I can just tell." He quipped, the hand that hasn't held yours now placed atop your head. If you were honest, it felt more physically present than before, as if his body started to solidify some more as his appearance becomes less hazy. "You're a good person, I think he needs someone to show him some of the good in things."
You felt your tongue click behind your teeth, a huff of laughter escaping your parted lips. Your ears tingled slightly, his words leaving your chest quivering for a moment as your grip became looser. "Well, thank you Papyrus," You let go of his ghostly hand after not saying anything for a minute, before you leaned back against the safety of your pillows. You rolled over on your side but still facing him as he adjusted himself to the side of the bed. "I haven't...I haven't heard someone tell me that in a long time." You finally settled on saying. Your eyes were hazy, and it seemed to click for Papyrus that you didn't want to explore that part of the conversation any longer.
He also noted the way your soul hummed through your ribcage, a special sight only he could see without complications. Who would've thought that you were his brother's soulmate? It was such a pleasant find, an accidental incident that not even Dust noticed. Thankfully, he caught it, saw the glowing of your soul from so far away. You were truly someone he found delightful to be around, and he knows that Dust would think the same thing, even if he would be stubborn about it at first.
He patted your head as your eyes started to close, his voice now a whisper. "Well, I'm glad that I was able to share my thoughts with you. Get some rest now, okay? I'll be back tomorrow, if that's alright with you?" "Mnh...yeah, that sounds...that sounds nice. Thank you again, Papyrus....Goodnight..."
"Goodnight,"
-----------------------------------------------------------
"Where have you been?!?" Dust couldn't help but shout, his hands gripping onto Papyrus' scarf and aggressively twisting it around. He had been collecting LV to try and get Papyrus back, only for him to now show up after a few weeks. "Do you know how confused I was? Worried?"
Papyrus didn't answer immediately, instead tapping his fingers against where his arms would be if he had any. Right now, he was still mostly transparent. He wasn't the only one though, with how Dust was trembling as his voice cracked slightly. He always fidgeted with his scarf when nervous. "I was spending time with a friend!!" He claimed with conviction. "A friend?" "Yes! And I think you'd love to meet them!"
Dust couldn't believe what he was hearing. A friend? From so far away? He was traveling multiple timelines, AU's, all to find Paps. And yet apparently that's where he has been this whole time? With a friend? He tilted his head to the side, his eyebrows squished together. He quickly tried to look indifferent, or at least more mad than he actually was. Papyrus wasn't falling for it though, he never did. "How did you even meet someone?" "Simple: I met them when I decided to travel back to where our timeline would be!" Papyrus was quick to dismiss, but Dust only frowned further.
"Why would I even want to? For one, we're always traveling, Pap. We're told not to get attached to anyone, you know this." Dust tried to rationalize, pacing now in his room as his hands kept fidgeting with the scarf. He's now resorted to pacing because he has too much on his mind, but he feels a cold touch to his head and it pulls him back momentarily. Papyrus has now drained some energy from Dust, his physical form more solid, visible to him.
"Brother. Please, I am aware. But trust me, this is for your own good. I really think that you simply must meet them, at least once." Dust felt Papyrus placing his other hand on his shoulder, his upper body slightly bent down to be more at eye level. Papyrus knows what will happen if Dust does meet you, but he wouldn't want to ruin the surprise. With the years passing of living with Sans, with who he is now, he's learned how to speak to him. He's no longer the easily swayed skeleton who would do anything on a whim. But, Papyrus isn't the same either.
"...Please?"
"....Pap,"
"....Do they really mean this much to you?"
"Sans."
Dust winced at the name.
"Yes, they do. I really think you'll like them."
"...Fine, fine."
Dust felt the cold touch of Papyrus when he wrapped his arms around him, squeezing him tight with a giddy laugh. "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!"
-----------------------------------------------------------
Regret is not the right word he would use. No, regret would imply that he wishes that he never met you or something along those lines. No, he just wishes that he didn't meet you at this point in time when he's who he is now. When he entered an old timeline of his, he found that his soul felt instantly off. Not a bad feeling per say, but more...calm? He's never been too calm ever since the human fell all those years ago. But as his brother spoke, a white noise at the moment, he felt that he couldn't focus. His attention was pulled somewhere else, but Papyrus was able to help him with this.
You were prettier than he expected, but of course he couldn't say anything when you were at the moment losing your shit. Papyrus told him to teleport, a big mistake honestly since he's never been here, but Papyrus has. Papyrus, however, is not of this physical world. So when he teleported, guess what?? He fell straight from the ceiling, mid air. Thanks Papyrus, you're so much help. You had so gracefully been awake already, but you were in a separate room. You had run straight from the bathroom, your hair disheveled and your toothbrush hanging sideways from your opened jaw.
Sadly he couldn't admire you for too long before he had a toothbrush flung straight at his face and directly messing with his vision. Papyrus had to immediately drain him of his magic in order to become more translucent of reflected light and full bodied. Heourgh, he felt less energetic immediately, but at least the floor was quite comfortable. He didn't bother straightening up, not if it meant you'd throw something else at him. It's not a great first greeting with his soulmate, he'd apologize if he wasn't so tired. Papyrus was right, he would like you.
His soul was pumping, singing practically as he was able to feel the wavelengths of your soul. You didn't seem to fully notice, but he did. He noticed since his soul felt calmer, happier, and much more....in love? What a strange feeling, his soul is so used to the LV he has, the motivation, the constant distress and guilt. He's never felt so light, but maybe that's because he's lightheaded from teleporting and falling. You seemed to be calming down since Papyrus was there and easing your panic. Thank the stars he's here. He wishes he met you sooner, or maybe in a different timeline where he was...normal. Would the others accept this? Would they be considered your soulmates too? He's never been great at sharing. He doesn't want to drag you in the multiverse mess that is his life, but leaving you alone after this isn't an option.
Stars above you were so pretty. Your voice sounds like the pluck of strings tied to a harp, or a guitar. Filled with emotion, a world of thoughts and history behind them. He hopes you'll like him too. He doesn't want to be scary to you, but he knows that he is. He could be less mean? Maybe you like things that he likes, he can like things you like. He can try to be better if it means you won't find him scary, if you can trust him. Right now you were coming over to him, apologizing but clearly weary. Hey, at least you weren't dumb enough to get too close, he is a stranger after all.
He is so happy that his brother convinced him to meet you. Yeah, regret isn't the word he'd use. It's just going to be complicated. That's okay, he can wait, patience is a skill on his part. Even if things don't work because you don't end up liking him, he at least met you. This quiet in your presence has been so pleasant, still as a pond and soothing. He's thankful for at least this moment of tranquility deep within his soul. His brother already told him your name, but he doesn't want to be weird.
"...The name is Dust, I didn't mean to fall in your bedroom. Not a great introduction, huh?"
Oh would you look at that, he was talking! He doesn't do that often. He is suddenly insecure about the rasp in his voice. You don't seem to mind though, and in fact you smile. Oh wow. Your smile. You seem less scared, that's great. He'd do anything to keep that smile on your lips, anything at all... Too bad he passes out before you can respond. Great job, Dust.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Closing Notes: This took forever to type but I think I'm happy with it! I was busy, and a little unsure of how I wanted to type this. I hope you like this, vamp, you're so cool and this was fun. Don't be shy to ask for more stuff! I just wanted to write you a little more plot since you asked such a specific request for a skeleton hehe. Thank you :-)
Rambles of a lunatic
GUAH!! I can't formulate my words as well as I want to, but I gotta write this out and hopefully make SOME sense???
Other than my recent obsession with Mouthwashing, I have been thinking of Horrortale and my obsession with the brothers.
Ough, my heart hurts thinking of everyone underground, and how both brothers focus on being there for their home in different ways.
Saint, the echo of who he used to be, now as a guard that does better providing for Snowdin than Undyne and her royal guard. I'm sure that he had to deal with conflict in ways that were harsh, but overall protected them. To me, he always seemed like someone who was a passive individual up until Frisk left and things started going south. Once he was stripped of his choice and had to go through such a harmful injury, I'm sure that he went home changed in more ways than one. I can imagine that he would prevent any harm of those around him if he can help it, and that he would be protective of those who struggle to be independent and assertive. He seems to me like he would be protective of his brother even more than before once he realizes that Undyne has most likely become harsher and more cruel to him even if she realizes it or not. Something I also wonder is if he fed the underground human meat because he feels responsibility for them being stuck underground currently. He seemed to me as a skeleton who provided hope in others before, and now he provides a security in Snowdin as well. How haunted is he by memories nowadays? What eats away at him in a way nothing else could?
Ohhh....and Lunar. Imagine the anger he felt, the fear he felt when he realized that his own brother was hurt all because of his best friend? And imagine the anger as he realizes that a reason for his transformation is due to not only Starvation, but because he ate a "mystery meat" that his brother provided to keep him and Snowdin alive. Forced to be a mediator between your own brother despite him feeding you 'mystery' meat without you knowing and your best friend who caused the hole in your brother's skull? To add to it, he would have to also help protect and defend Snowdin too, wouldn't he? Mediation of rations, emotions, and learning to fix tears in the clothes Snowdin wears. I think if he was lonely before, he probably became a better representation of hope than Saint due to his hesitant optimism and resourcefulness. He has to watch those around him change but I'm sure he feels that he has to stay as close to the same as possible or else the underground would spiral even more so than before!
Their relationship would be so complicated and filled with hurt, I think. My headcanon for Saint only accidentally killing a human because of his uncontrollable and reactive anger and then realizing that the possibility of feeding them to Snowdin is present? I'm sure he felt it was rational, even if he tried to avoid telling Lunar. Then, Lunar finds out on his own since it's clear he and the others at this point are changing physically? The fighting, the hurt. I imagine that Saint would be the least physically changed other than his LV levels and physical changes to adapt to the harsh environment. I think he'd be scrawny, much more unhealthy than Lunar, but just grow in height and become more "jagged" since the LV must be doing something. I also imagine that Lunar changes physically for similar reasons, but his body is still somehow surviving because of the 'mystery meat'. It's not technically c@nnibalism, but it must hurt inside knowing that he befriended the last human and then ate the next.
They hurt me so much and I love them both so much like omgomgomgomgomg
THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN.
Choose or die
Another ask, omg who is doing all of these?!?
A martial arts master y/n, who does tournaments and runs her own school. One day, a very tall and hyperactive skeleton shows up. (Undertale Papyrus) Too skilled for the other students in the class, you come face to face with a new sparring partner. He seems very friendly. And, in a strange way, kind of flirty too?
btw i do taekwondo so feel free to ask any questions regarding martial arts if need be! :)
Oooh this is fascinating! I've never done taekwondo writing before but I'm eager to try it out! I hope you find that this is up to standard :-)
It always went in one direction, always forward, towards the end. All offense and most importantly focus upon the opponent.
No holding back. After all, he'll manage, he always does.
You formed your hands in a tight grip, launching yourself at him. You dug your fingers into the bicep of the swinging arm and ripped at the cloth while striking the forearm on the same side, straight in with the heel of the palm. Next, you pressed into your advantage as his eyes shrank a fraction, your hand darting towards his neck and pushing with your fingertips striking and temporarily closing his windpipe.
Knees bent, weight forward on the balls of your feet, head lowered. Cyperus glared up at you, straightening into a matching stance. Their eyes locked. Focus. With a yell, you threw a kick at Cyperus's head. He ducked, sliding easily into a leg-sweep, knocking your support from underneath.
The ground smashed into your back, forcing the air from your lungs in a rushing wheeze. You rolled backwards to your feet, still fighting against the tightness in your chest. Cyperus closed in on you, pushing his advantage, legs flying. You blocked as many of the blows as you could, his legs jarring before you twisted it around to him, hands striking his sockets every time you did.
He grunted as you moved towards a kick, watching his foot slide back as he barely avoided the blow. Unfortunately for him, his balance was momentarily weakened due to the sudden movement as he staggered backwards. Cyperus was off balance, he knew it, but before he could do anything you were already lunging forward. There was nothing for it. He couldn't block anything while he was still off-balance.
In a fraction of a second, you lined up your shoulder with Cyperus. You could see the unprotected area on his stance where you would strike. Your left foot forwards, you brought your back foot to the front and shot out. From there you had all the time in the world. All you had to do was turn so your other side faced your opponent, wait for gravity to start pulling him down, and then shoot your right leg out in a straight line, sailing cleanly upon impact with his long legs. Dead center, and down he went.
To finish off, you lowered down your foot into normal stance as your breathing felt even yet heavy. Your eyes stared down at the skeleton, before your voice rang out.
"Stop!"
And with that, you finished your sparring. Your students stared as they stay silently, eyes glued to the both of you. Cyperus, who was once on the ground, stood up into proper stance as his chest heaved. Sweat covered his skull as he panted, his body only slouched temporarily before he straightened his spine. He bowed low and so did you, before you walked towards him. You smiled, offering your hand towards him as he stood at attention.
He grinned, panting in between each word. "YES! haah, I HAVE! I haah APPRECIATE Y-YOUR PRAISE! haaah..." You lead him towards a distant table that provided water, handing it to him as you looked up to him. Despite the fact that he was a skeleton, he clearly has a shape to him. He was broad chested with more narrow hip bones, tall with almost lanky limbs attached. When he was using magic, he smelled of citrus, only now was it accompanied with sweat.
"Cyperus, I find that you've clearly done well. We'll need to practice some more sparring, but you clearly have worked on yourself." Your tone softened as he accepted your hand, his phalanges showing a slightly orange glow. In between each bone a faint, entrancing light caught your attention every time you saw it despite knowing him for awhile now.
He had decided to become a member of your school only a few months ago, but he proved himself to be a worthy student. Not only did he have strong integrity and respect, but he was also very kind. Outside of work, he was actually a very good friend to you. Or at least acquaintances? You were busy pretty often, having to decline his offers frequently or having to rush off every time he tries to stop you for a chat. He never minded, but he always left you feeling fuzzy and slightly lightheaded.
He cocked his head back and tilted the bottle towards his mouth, a faint glow of a tongue visible to your eyes. You averted your stare, especially since you found it embarrassing to even pay attention to something so... peculiar. After he took a swig, you did the same, the two of you feeling slightly sore but perfectly in tact. He leaned against the table with his phalanges clacking against the flat surface, his head tilted to the side. "HEY, I WAS WONDERING SOMETHING,"
You hummed out questionably, acknowledging him to continue. "ARE YOU FREE THIS SATURDAY? I WAS WONDERING IF WE COULD GO ON A DATE." You sputtered slightly at the personal and rather direct question, the water you were drinking spilling slightly onto the floor. He quickly handed you a paper towel, a laugh escaping him as his magic was starting to dim through his bones. "AH-! MY APOLOGIES, WAS THAT TOO FORWARD?"
You accepted the help as he towered over you, crouched down by your feet, not looking at him as you felt warmth forming up on your cheeks and ears that wasn't from sparring. "W-well, it's certainly not a question I expected. But uhm- no, no I'm not." You felt like your heart was pumping even louder in your ears as you wiped away the mess, your spine straightened up like tension on a string begging to be plucked as you tossed the paper towel in the trash.
"WELL-....I WANTED TO KNOW IF YOU'RE WILLING TO HAVE A FRIENDLY LUNCH? WITH ME?" You turned your head at his slowly softening voice, struck silent as your mouth went dry.
Oh. Oh.
He wanted to have a friendly, casual lunch. He didn't mean an actual date!
Okay, you can do that.
You could see that there was a wave of uncertainty in his voice, the slight waver as he smiled at you a little more nervously. Despite the confidence that this skeleton upheld, this was one of the few moments he seemed unsure of himself.
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO IF NOT, I THINK THAT GETTING TO KNOW YOU THOUGH WOULD BE AN HONOR. JUST AS FRIENDS? I KNOW IT CAME OFF AS WEIRD," He looked a little hopeful as he clasped his hands together and held it to his chest. If it weren't for the fact that it was him, you would've had your doubts. He simply looked so sincere, and the idea that he wanted to spend time with you filled your body with that tingling sensation he always gave you.
You hardly built relationships with others outside of your passionate work, especially since it was one of the main points you could build control with full confidence. You sucked at socializing otherwise. You debated saying no, simply because you didn't want to look stupid when you tried so hard to remain a facade of composure in front of others. You avoided him simply because it was hard for you to keep this facade, hating the vulnerability you felt in your chest when he was around.
But on the other hand....
You couldn't lie to yourself, and you knew it. He was...charming, and if someone as kind and sweet was willing to spend time with you of all people? You found that your smile was dorky, lopsided as you spoke before you could change your mind. "No! No it's not weird, hah-! Uh... I'd-.... I'd like to. Yes, I want to." You finally found your voice near the end of the sentence, clapping your hands together out of habit for finalization.
He brightened up at this, smiling wide as that confidence that he had now flooded back. He clapped his hands with delight, the edges of his eye sockets scrunching up. "OH YAY!! THANK YOU, I PROMISE TO ONLY PROVIDE THE BEST. WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE PICKED UP OR...?" He offered, one of his hands gesturing towards nothing in particular as a grand expression.
You couldn't help but keep smiling at the offer, but you put one hand up in a stop motion. "No, that won't be necessary, but I appreciate it, Cyperus." He dramatically bowed, one of his wrists twirling his hand. "OH BUT OF COURSE. WHY DON'T WE MEET UP DOWNTOWN?" "Sounds like a plan! Thank you, really."
He leaned forward, towering over you just slightly before he took your hand gently in his own. You smelled a slight hint of citrus, but before you realized it, you felt a tingling jolt in your hand as he nuzzled his teeth against your hand. You felt that your ears were just as warm as your face as you stiffened upon the contact, your hand feeling a slight hum. What was-...?
"NO, THANK YOU," He murmured, craddling your hand as his thumb rubbed over the backside. "I FEEL HONORED TO SPEND TIME TOGETHER WITH YOU. I DO HOPE THAT YOU FIND ME JUST AS AMAZING AS I FIND YOU." The edges of his mandibles curved up as the softness of his bone felt smooth. Oh, oh...oh stars. You felt lightheaded, your voice strained as you spoke. "I-I see...of course."
You were going to pass out on the spot. He simply let out a chuckle, straightening back up as his hand slipped away from yours. "You're too sweet, Cyperus." You muttered, and he puffed his chest at this. "OBVIOUSLY. HOW CAN I BE THE AMAZING CYPERUS IF I AM ANYTHING BUT SWEET?" He strided over to the cubbies near the entrance, slinging his bag over his shoulders as he waved to you. "I'M OFF TO GO PREPARE FOR TOMORROW NOW. GET HOME SAFELY, ALRIGHT?" You mumbled a response in acknowledgement, though your brain felt overwhelmed.
Ah...back to work.
As he left, you felt that you were subconsciously rubbing your fingers over the area he nuzzled on your hand. You didn't realize that you were standing there for however long you did, but you couldn't help it. He made you feel soft, and he made you feel...good. That's going to be a problem. You heard one of your students call to you, and you rolled your shoulders back as you clapped your hands as a firm reminder to your body that you still were on the clock.
Closing Notes: oh I've been so damn busy over here. I had testing, so I apologize if this took longer than anticipated! I'll be finishing up the other ask when I can, but I hope you liked this @vamppiko
Monster Claims and Animal Motifts
So I love animal motifs and I know that depending on the characterization for some of the skeletons, it really influences their personalities.
Example! Stretch. He can be seen as a fox or a bunny for example, while some people think Rus is dog or wolf coded. Idk I think we should think about the other Papyri as well or Sanses. Like Cash! I think he and Coffee are different flavors of cat, y'know? Like I can't explain it. I do know though that I love them all and honestly I wanna see more. The trope in fanfics where they share a "mating" or "acceptance in family" process through collars though is rather interesting. I personally don't do that with my headcanons, but I wish it was explored more and had more depth since some people do it for the more sexual perspectives of it.
And I'm not gonna lie, I really love how monsters have their own scents for magic that they have. Like,,,I love it way too much tbh and I think that mixed with intent, monsters sharing clothing is a form of trust and intimacy. Like, not even in a romantic sense. Like it just shows you find it comforting and I think that monsters offering it to one another express that you hold affection for the other. I think I wanna post my opinion on what each skeleton's magic would smell like (and maybe taste like teeheehehe) and if you want a specific scenario, dont be afraid to send an ask!
Soul Bonding
Soul bonding is when two or more souls create an intimate relationship with one another. It is not exclusive to romantic feelings, but rather all versions of love. Each soul almost syncs in wavelengths when it happens, and that can allow each soul to understand and better connect with the others emotions at the time. It is exclusive to those with a soul, but there are ways those without one can still connect. No bond is stronger than the other in the sense that family is first, or romantic is first. Each is treated as if it's strong to begin with in order to form, as anything before a soul bond is simply a connection that happens with the body and mind.
The things that the soul bonding can bring is some of the following:
- Better understanding of the others emotions, due to the fact that they're intimate with the soul and it's wavelengths
- Better ability to find the other no matter the distance
- Getting the ability to find things out about the other that is never spoken. However, this would mean that the person able to detect this would have to be really in tune with their soul
- Causing each being to feel closer, since soul bonding happens involuntarily and sometimes souls just feel a tugging to connect. This is how some love at first sight moments occur
- It can strengthen over time and has the ability to allow the other to actually hear the music of the other's soul if chosen to. Each Soul has a different sound, and it tends to have effects on the soul listening such as soothing sensations, a release of happy emotions, and a vulnerable desire to sing along and synchronize
- The soul will grow brighter the closer they are to the other soul, sometimes leading to the two being exposed in order to "sing together." When this happens, both beings bond more strongly and can practically share the same soul with how the souls are so in sync. Emotions are shared, thoughts are shared, sensations are felt, and the strength of the soul doubles
Soul bonding can bring what some consider bad. However, it is simply because the soul can only be honest and be selfish with what it wants and only what it wants. Souls never intend to harm another, as it's made entirely of LOVE. The reason something would go wrong is entirely on the person, and when the situation turns sour its only because of the voluntary choices of the individual themselves
- Feeling the others emotions when in close or distant proximity, allowing each soul to tell when the other is upset or angry. This can be a good thing, but in an unhealthy relationship, this can lead to anxiety and a constant desire for pleasers to do more in hopes that the other soul will be happy
- Trying to connect before the beings are ready, as it's natural for the wavelengths to sometimes resonate since it's something deeper going on that only the souls knows. Some monsters/humans aren't ready for those commitments, which can lead to the right person, wrong time
- It is hard to cut off the soul bond, as even if it's damaged it has to be voluntarily cut off by the individual. This can lead to times where the one on the end of the cut is suffering as the soul feels that pain and sudden lack of connection.
- Better ability to find the other no matter the distance, which can lead to struggles getting away from someone if the soul bond isn't cut off properly, leaving tethers that remain
- Some bonds are so strong that they refuse to listen to logic. This can lead to monsters or humans doing stupid things even without knowing fully why. Yes, this can lead to good results, but not always
Can Soul Bonding involve more than one person?
Soul bonding is not exclusive to one person. There can be multiple and it is only possible if both souls understand the bond as "right." This means that cheating is not something that can lead to anything good. Soul bonding only is if both souls have an intimate connection beforehand, but only in the emotional sense. Anything such as a fling only hurts the soul and the bonds it has made, since the soul bonding cannot be formed over sexual or artificial relationships.
Interestingly, souls can be quite restrictive when it comes to who it wants to bond with. This is why forced soul bonding isn't possible, such as an abusive partner, as it cannot be forced if only one soul wants to bond. If there was a bond beforehand, but it weakened over time due to an unhealthy relationship, the soul bond can and will be easier to cut without the repercussions.
Interestingly, there can be an unrequited love bond. Usually, this stems from friendships/platonic soul bonds. What tends to happen is a platonic soul bond will form, but only one soul starts to experience a romantic sensation. This leads to shaky soul bonds that can be hard for each soul to synchronize properly. They sing a different tune when bonding, the shape of wavelengths differing and causing only uneven bonding moments. It still is a good sensation, but it's not as strong as it could be
What happens if a soul rejects another?
Well, there is a reason why some monsters or humans instantly don't like each other. Sometimes, souls simply don't have wavelengths that it can sync with. They don't have anything they want to do with the other, and often this causes the individual to dislike the other even if it's without reason. Sometimes, a healthy soul will reject another that's tainted such as having excess or hints of discoloration. After all, the soul may not know why, but it signals that the other poses a threat, a threat to itself. There must be a reason that the soul is the way it is, and this is especially the case if signs of Corruption are present.
Some souls will bond, however, if both are tainted. Those with excess will either reject each other, or bond. The same can be said to those that are in discoloration, such is how those with depression experience understanding towards others that also have depression

Razz Serrif
- Official height is 5'6 because of his boots
- He/Him
- Likes to drink coffee, the bitterness is great
- Makes Burritos
- A dog person
- Older brother of Cash Serrif
- Lieutenant of the Royal Guard
- He is very touch oriented, hands on approach
- Desperate to prove himself through fighting. Won't hesitate to fight
- Prone to jealousy and is competitive about a lot of things
- He likes being active
- He likes being in control for a lot of things, but he struggles losing it
- Good at saving money, he in fact taught Cash
- Originally competitive with Carmine and Powder, but eventually formed friendships with them
- He did not have a good relationship with Gaster. He was too clingy and would be too forceful in wanting full dedication from Razz. He wanted Gaster's approval but it resulted in high expectations of himself as he was taught that he had to be independent and powerful
- Brave, independent, proud, intuitive, stubborn, blunt, optimistic, sassy, smug, erratic, unfiltered, responsible, secretive, aggressive, nosy, and bossy
- He hardly curses, especially not in front of authroity
- He acts like a tyrant sometimes, though it's due to insecurity
- Like Carmine, he will berate you but in a more scolding way after you become close with him
- He will falter with genuine communication or compliments, since he's not used to receiving validation or someone actually being honest/sincere
- He would call his lover precious, such as "my precious Y/N" or "could you come here, precious?"
- He can make some of the worst apologies, unless to authority or people he is super close with. He decently tries enough though, usually doing small acts of service instead of actually apologizing properly
- He loves PDA since he gets to show who he's close with and in the same sense makes sure no one messes with you as a result. It's basically a way of him saying "they're with me, fuck off"
- At first hated Carmine and Powder, but when he fought Powder and got his ass beat he was filled with shame. At first called Powder a soft, annoying version of him who was too humble in his opinion. he poked fun at Stretch for his shyness and then got his ass beat by Powder. He eventually was extended kindness after this and grew to respect Powder, though
- Hated Carmine for being similar to him but not pushing himself to be his "strongest." Yet grew to be more petty over the years. Developed a respect for him and now they're friends who actively are tyrants when it's cleaning day
- His magic smells of sugar, his magic tastes like blackberries
- Hides his face and sniffles a lot when crying, he doesn't like to cry. He hardly does and he has to be pushed to get to that point
- In the underground he was close with Cash at one point. but overtime he slowly resented Cash's habits and behavior. This caused him to be more controlling and frustrated
- He would keep an eye on Cash when he came home high or drunk so that he wouldn't dust, but he never told him since Cash complained about being babied sometimes
- His relationship with the Queen is the same as Gaster's. He's extremely dedicated to her, and people often rumor the Queen's strange interest in him. She uses him for emotional support and has a strange codependency on him despite the power dynamic. He hates it, but tries to sympathize. This keeps his brother out of trouble often, though he doesn't tell him. The Queen makes him value power and has twisted what he should be like, since she was the one to scar him. She makes sure he doesn't disobey
- He tries to let Cash have freedom, and tends to him a lot once they move in with the other skeletons. It'll take awhile, but he will learn how to balance care and controlling habits
- Didn't realize that Cash fell into his habits due to him being in the Royal Guard. He didn't realize that Cash simply wanted his brothers attention and was coping with it
- He tends to express his masked personality over his real one better than anyone else. He in truth feels deeply, cares about many things, and hates that he can't connect with people like he wants to
- He's more lonely than he lets on
- He tends to be desperate for approval, doing a lot to get it even if he acts like he doesn't need it
- Even if he struggles, he can show his care and sincerity in different ways
- He's sacrificed a lot to get where he is now, and he regrets that his brother was part of that crossfire
- He often gets extremely emotional over a lot of things, but he's formed that to be aggression since he's part of the royal guard in an underground that festers in violence. It was a painful necessity for him to change
- He thinks it's selfish of him to care for others
- He grew up with the mentality that power means everything, so when there's no use for it anymore he doesn't know what to do with himself
- He'd rather gouge his own eye out than admit his desire for real, intimate, connections
- He doesn't understand why he can't adapt to the other AU's like the others so easily, but a part of him knows that he's the problem
- He hates that his impulsive decision to anything is demeaning others or getting aggressive
- Ashamed of his scars, unlike Carmine
- He finds his jealousy to be childish, and just like Carmine he'll avoid talking about it until confronted
- He's more tactful and intelligent than he lets on, using certain behaviors as a way to avert drama towards his brother or loved ones by making a scene
- Despite his lack of showing too much kindness, he deeply cares about those he loves and wants to do right by them. So, if he really sees that someone is hurt from his actions, he is not stupid enough to widen that wound and instead tries to find ways to make it up to someone
-He hates the Queen, hates Gaster(who is no longer present), he hates everything. He hates- he hates who he is. Why does he mess everything up?
Closing Notes: I see that Carmine and him are reflections of each other who grew up slightly differently and coped differently as a result. They're more alike than the other realizes, and yet both are on a scale in how they handle shit. The two are SWAP fells though, so they have a sort of twisted way of dealing with things when compared to Powder if he was put in their situations. Sadly, Razz just is too stuck in his ways to change anytime soon. But maybe he just needs...mercy?
Oh my god you actually made him a pretty magical girl I'm actually shaking and crying and dancing and giggling oh my god oh my god oh my god magical girl Dust my beloved I'm actually going to eat your drawing I love your art lemme just

Thats interesting to hear! I always think about all the different interpretations of him and I have my own little opinions on each character. I wasn't aware that his code was changed and to me that's really fascinating.
I've always thought that similar to Dust, his character was driven by desperation and forms of distress. I liked to view as Chara, in my interpretation, someone who is driven to change things like him, but the two would create "something new" to try and prevent the Player from harming those he loved. I had an idea of how his identity would be targeted towards this constant repeat of trying to end such a painful cycle that his 'apathy' or rather his mental strain would lead to the idea of "not feeling anything." I think that he and Chara at some point would almost mold(?) into the same soul, driven until they have nothing else going for them.
Then, from there, I would imagine that Nightmare in whatever interpretation he is in would go from there. I always found his fandom self to be a turn off for me to explore until I got older, and I rarely can find any actual information about him that isn't surface level to me. My interpretation of Killer and the others also leads me to have my interpretations of Nightmare, Dream, etc. I, personally, hate seeing the constant abuse between Nightmare and Killer since my own take on Nightmares character would be quite different.
Please, if you'd like I'd genuinely love more info on canon him! I would totally explore your posts because it'd help build my own take on him along with being knowledgeable in his canon character :]]
Does Dust think that the bad Sanses would be selfish? Is there a reasonable reason for him to join the Bad Sanses in some versions? He killed his entire underground thinking it was a more merciful kill than them having to go through the constant resets and he couldn't take it anymore before losing his mind. I think just making him stereotypically "psycho" doesn't give him the justice I see much of. I think the idea of taking away the happy endings of others is impossible for him, especially in specific timelines. I think that the versions of each Bad Sans having their own reasons would be fun, like how I imagine he could've been convinced by Pap to go in order to not Starve.
Don't even get me STARTED on Saint, either. He, in my opinion, joins the Bad Sanses to provide safety and food for the underground. His whole character is defending and caring for the underground despite his rough edges. It's not like he would abandon his brother and village when they're victims of fate and cruel circumstances. The idea that Killer killed everyone to just FEEL something? At least there's some level of understanding for Dust even if he also would dislike him. I've always seen Saint as a character always wanting to protect the weak, or at least protect helpless monsters in bad situations. That could lead to a whole way of him bonding with Dust for that matter
If I'm to think of Killer in the way everyone™ in the fandom sees him, he would have the least justification.
,,,,BUT WHAT IF I THINK OF SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT?
What if Killer decided to join the human to try and stop the resets like Dust? That his method wasn't just to "stop feeling awful" or to "feel nothing at all." I think Sans as a character is very fascinating, and I like to personally think he would pair with Chara as a way not to stop Frisk, but rather to stop the player. It would be interesting to think a part of Chara and Sans are fused into a soul rather than Killer y'know,,,,killing them. I don't care for the evil Chara interpretations, and I think this could lead to a more empathetic light to a character (Killer) with a really cool concept. It's a shame to me that out of all the Bad Sanses, Killer has the least justification and doesn't have that slice of humanity in him that could give him empathy from people in the community
These are just my personal takes, even if whoever reads this may think they're bad takes. Again, I LOVE almost every version someone has of a character so many people can interpret in different ways. I just like adding my own twist to try and pump more depth into each of these silly guys
