do you guys wanna hear me talk about v3 trial 4 because it's literally the best trial no ok ill do it anyway
So idk if this is like actually right or anything but I'm pretty sure kokichi goes through grief during like the whole trial. Though it's out of order, and multiple at a time in some cases, it definitely happens.
Even in the very beginning, there's some of what could possibly bargaining
purposely staying away from Gonta and distancing himself by attaching himself to Shuichi instead could be bargaining, in my opinion, or it could not be. I dunno.
I've seen another post by someone else saying he was deattaching himself from Gonta because he knew what was going to happen to him, which could possibly fit into bargaining, but again, idk I forgor 💀
After we got multiple- like. like multiple instances of anger. A lot in the same section of the trial, actually.
I don't have a lot to say about this one at the moment because it's pretty straightforward, but later on I might touch on this some more because it'll explain some other stuff not involving the grief topic
After, there's some points that could be seen as denial.
It's obviously like horribly impossible to tell whether or not either of these lines are genuine, given his character. But I think there's a dead giveaway line for the second screenshot.
This line is definitely a lie, or at the least, isn't a genuine ask.
Kokichi, throughout the entire trial, continuously states how much he wants to live. He wouldn't give that up if Gonta were going to die as well as himself. Which is why I feel like his other sobs feel so more genuine. He's lying during the sobbing, but not about the fact that he's sobbing. (note he does claim they were fake tears, but under the given circumstances, it's fair to discredit that statement entirely)
As for the first screenshot? That's probably a lie too. For the same reasons as the second one.
I've run out of space for images, so I'll do a part two probably sometimes if I feel like it. Just my thoughts on this trial because it's my all-time favorite in this entire game.
[ part 2 ]
Rambles of a lunatic
GUAH!! I can't formulate my words as well as I want to, but I gotta write this out and hopefully make SOME sense???
Other than my recent obsession with Mouthwashing, I have been thinking of Horrortale and my obsession with the brothers.
Ough, my heart hurts thinking of everyone underground, and how both brothers focus on being there for their home in different ways.
Saint, the echo of who he used to be, now as a guard that does better providing for Snowdin than Undyne and her royal guard. I'm sure that he had to deal with conflict in ways that were harsh, but overall protected them. To me, he always seemed like someone who was a passive individual up until Frisk left and things started going south. Once he was stripped of his choice and had to go through such a harmful injury, I'm sure that he went home changed in more ways than one. I can imagine that he would prevent any harm of those around him if he can help it, and that he would be protective of those who struggle to be independent and assertive. He seems to me like he would be protective of his brother even more than before once he realizes that Undyne has most likely become harsher and more cruel to him even if she realizes it or not. Something I also wonder is if he fed the underground human meat because he feels responsibility for them being stuck underground currently. He seemed to me as a skeleton who provided hope in others before, and now he provides a security in Snowdin as well. How haunted is he by memories nowadays? What eats away at him in a way nothing else could?
Ohhh....and Lunar. Imagine the anger he felt, the fear he felt when he realized that his own brother was hurt all because of his best friend? And imagine the anger as he realizes that a reason for his transformation is due to not only Starvation, but because he ate a "mystery meat" that his brother provided to keep him and Snowdin alive. Forced to be a mediator between your own brother despite him feeding you 'mystery' meat without you knowing and your best friend who caused the hole in your brother's skull? To add to it, he would have to also help protect and defend Snowdin too, wouldn't he? Mediation of rations, emotions, and learning to fix tears in the clothes Snowdin wears. I think if he was lonely before, he probably became a better representation of hope than Saint due to his hesitant optimism and resourcefulness. He has to watch those around him change but I'm sure he feels that he has to stay as close to the same as possible or else the underground would spiral even more so than before!
Their relationship would be so complicated and filled with hurt, I think. My headcanon for Saint only accidentally killing a human because of his uncontrollable and reactive anger and then realizing that the possibility of feeding them to Snowdin is present? I'm sure he felt it was rational, even if he tried to avoid telling Lunar. Then, Lunar finds out on his own since it's clear he and the others at this point are changing physically? The fighting, the hurt. I imagine that Saint would be the least physically changed other than his LV levels and physical changes to adapt to the harsh environment. I think he'd be scrawny, much more unhealthy than Lunar, but just grow in height and become more "jagged" since the LV must be doing something. I also imagine that Lunar changes physically for similar reasons, but his body is still somehow surviving because of the 'mystery meat'. It's not technically c@nnibalism, but it must hurt inside knowing that he befriended the last human and then ate the next.
They hurt me so much and I love them both so much like omgomgomgomgomg
I did wallter dirty with his human design im sorry i really struggled with the human designs
You can't tell me that Ronan Lynch---Ronan Lynch who doesn't know how to articulate his feelings, who communicates chiefly through body language, who fights with his fists rather than his words---doesn't show his love through physical touch. And you can't tell me that Adam Parrish---Adam Parrish whose parents never hugged him, who has always wanted so desperately to be kissed---cannot get enough of Ronan touching him.
y'all ever think about how ronan lived because declan loved him btw
