I'm very pleased to finally be sharing this -- @lgbterrorist and I have put a lot of work into this Swap AU fic, and it's just started serializing on AO3.
Something happened to Kim Kitsuragi that knocked his life wildly off course. Now it’s March of ’51, and he’s woken up in the Whirling-in-Rags with an apocalyptic concussion, a chip on his shoulder, and a partner intent on solving a murder.
The Past Teaches You to Be Alone. Kimharry, rated M, final word count ~148k.
The cover art is by Sykine, definitely check out their other work!
the way people cannot take any negative thing happening in tv shows these days is genuinely frightening and incredibly tiring. sometimes characters die. sometimes bad things happen for the story to move along. unwillingness to deal with anything upsetting in the realm of FICTION (and by upsetting i don't even mean difficult themes but just basic storytelling stuff like a character dying) is how you get incredibly watered-down cookie cutter media that doesn't make you feel anything. "ooooh but escapism" you cannot avoid everything bad forever. and if a character death is something that will send you spiralling that is something with your mental health and not with the piece of media being made. from the bottom of my heart: grow up
I need to go outside, there is concrete begging to be photographed...
Tiles! I want to have a kitchen wall full with different designs

"Silent treatment" but it's more like a spa treatment. A little treat, the indulgent luxury of hearing me shut the fuck up.
