Beware - This post has NSFW content!!

For those of you who sent in requests - I am actively working on them!! School work was kicking my ass last week, but I've got time now, so hopefully some requests will be up within the next few days! Thanks for your patience everyone, and here's a sneak peek at the current request I'm working on:

“C’mon, pretty boy, admit it: you missed me,” you said smugly.

“And what if I did?” he said, eyes half-lidded. “Missed your pretty face, your curves, the feel of you wrapped around me-”

“If you think that you have any power over me you’re wrong,” you say, gaze heavy and smile sharp. “Know your place, baby boy.”

He shivered against you, opting to pull away before it got any more heated between you. “Well darl’, I’ve got a job to do. Stop by sometime, yeah? You know where to find me.”

“Nice try, Hargrove,” you said, eyes feral. “But if you need anything from me you’re going to have to beg for it.”

Stages Of Grief Ft Billy Hargrove X Reader

Stages of grief ft billy Hargrove x reader

You and billy have been on edge for weeks, rumors spread that you slept with Harrington and he’s been fooling around with some girls. Both rumors were false but both of you had a nagging feeling. You both didn’t want to be betrayed or taken advantage of so it ate both you up. The time you both spent together was short do you the pain of either thinking one laid with an enemy, the interaction at school were short. When either didn’t visit in the night you both had thoughts of the other being with that other person. Because of the tension for months both of you snapped at first starting it off as a couple who needed to fix their problems to a full on screaming match and both saying things they didn’t mean and putting either under the bus, you went on the fact he was a player before the dating phase to him saying you slept with Harrington since day one because you both hung out more before the dating. “ ooo so that’s what you think y/n “ you glare back “ it’s what I know billy” he groans/screams “ you really playing this card y/n ever fight, I can’t catch a break” you slam ur hand down “ I can’t catch a break either because you can’t get over your pride about Harrington” the fact you said his name sent billy even further over the edge, he got in your face through his clenched teeth. Nothing but venom dripped from his mouth only for you to poison it more. He called you every name in the book going as far as to comment on your looks only for you to spew back a rush of hateful comments both you brought family even personal secrets into the argument. By the time the last word left your mouth it all was a blur, broken items and car doors slamming, the news of the break up spread like wildfire. You both didn’t even dare look at the other feelings nothing for the first month. You only knew of a new girl on his arm from a class mate and the fact you cut off everyone seeing as they brought the rumors and lies. By the second it didn’t hit either till you looked in the mirror and finally broke, billy didn’t break till he laid next to a girl. He looked over not understanding why he really expected you to be right their. The night you both fought flooded both your minds. The feeling of a void entered both your chests, you broke sliding down your wall as tears fell in floods as your heart started to hurt. You screamed out and held your chest feeling it all hit, the man you wanted to spend your life with had left and laid with another, the thoughts of what he said broke you more, the pain was unbearable. Only miles away billy sat in his car near the lake you both would go, bottle in hand and tears flooding his eyes. He’s head lean on the seat and his fists clenched the bottle, he had been seven drinks in and the more the liquor filled him the more it unlocked the night and his his passenger seat was empty, his back seat had no shoes, his dash didn’t hold the picture of you, the necklace you gifted didn’t dangle from the mirror. The stages of grief set in. Denial was the period of not really believing it till, one entered their room to find the one thing from the other gone or when one wanted to tell the other something only to remember the situation, the empty sheets, the pillow that lost the other scent only for Anger to set in the thought of the others betrayal and lack of trust, the fact you both spent a year together just to not trust the other filled each with rage. Bargaining the guilt for what was said, the shame, the anxiety all set in at once, most nights crying was over what was said both feelings evil and dirty for saying something they didn’t mean only to have depression set in hard both turning to a drink or cigarette to calm the nerves or hide the sadness neither would dare step in each other’s paths, everyone knew because the once bright school was sitting on the edge of their seats. By the fifth month acceptance wasn’t a find yourself or a recreation it was the sadness finally setting in, the acceptance that the other wouldn’t return or dare too because it’s Been half a year. Billy finally broke after seeing you at school,

he never looked at you but when he finally got the courage he stared at you seeing your eyes lifeless, you looked frail and tired, as you sat with friends you looked disconnected. Broken. It made him want to move across the room and hold you and fill you with life again only to see you stand and leave the room. He wanted to chase you. He got up moving to the hall seeing it empty as you walked down it, he moved faster only wrapping his arms around you from behind head on top of yours confused you froze only to sink into him once the familiar smell came to you, you spoke softly as if to speak a little louder would make him disappear “ billy”. He pulled you into a empty/ abandoned classroom. You dropped your bag turning hiding in his chest as his grip tightened, neither spoke knowing each pain, you cried lightly on his chest as he kept you close, only hearing each other’s heart beat rapidly and breathing fill the room. You look up into his eyes find them clear ice blue clear just everything you missed and loved about him on full display, the slight stumbles of hair his freckles in their funny order on his lightly pink cheeks, you didn’t know what came over you but up moved up quickly kissing him deeply, you’ve shared kisses with him but this one was full of the grief, the void, the lost time to lost months. Only to have him lean on a desk with his hand behind your head lips just as connected. It was like you both spilled your broken hearts out onto the floor, the muscles that were tenses now relax the tears that were held in now falling freely. Both pulled away gasping “please “ was all you could muster before both held each other in a hug “ forgive me “ even through it all you both stood speechless. Seeing sides of the other you’ve never seen. You hold his hand as he pulls you closer kissing your nose gently and humming “ why did we do this” you only smile “ young and dumb “ he cups your cheek, you feel his rings on your jaw and smell the cigarette as he kisses you deeply “ young, dumb but never apart” you hum cupping his hand on your face “ till death” he smiles “ do us part”.

“Kiss,kill,marry”

“Kiss,kill,marry”

Billy Hargrove x reader

You cry lightly into his shirt and grip his Jean jacket, he rests his chin onto of your head and arms tightly around you, you mumble though sobs “ I hate you” he rubs your back feeling guilt comes over him “ I know….I know” he’s put you through nothing but hell. The Whole relationship was hell, from the start each kiss and touch was purely to not feel alone both didn’t want commitment but both didn’t want the other in someone else’s arms so this whole thing was running off of the fear of being alone. Both you fighting like cats and dogs, so many bruises or cuts from passed fights. You couldn’t count it on your fingers how many times you fought with him, morning till night you both fought only having genuine moments when one was hurt or in pain by an emotional situation. When billy father would rage, you broke down the door next to killing the man for being inches from billy. if billy didn’t grab you, you be in prison rn. Him the same when your mother spoke down on you or got loud. He was right there with open arms, he knew how to soothe you and he had all the right words but when the moment passed and a rumor or comments were made, even the slightest change in a mood and you both saw red. But god forbid a man or woman looked either way. Tonight wasn’t the case, billy finally crossed a line. He went to a party, when you arrived you caught him kissing some blond. When he noticed you. You saw his eyes go almost blank, deer in headlights. You stormed off. He ran after you only to meet you in the front yard, you didn’t know you could get this angry but you turn punching him in the jaw, he fell back shocked holding his soon to be bruised jaw, you yelled and called him every name in the book. Out of it all what broke him was how emotionless your eyes were when you said “ I hate you william Hargrove” you meant it, other arguments you say it but he knew ya didn’t mean it this one hit him hard. When he finally got home, he broke down crying. Max was so scared she came to him, asking if he was dying. She’s seen her brother broken but to cry this hard broke even her. After a month of the argument, billy was not the same, he went quite even snapping at his friends and slowly starting to distance himself from everyone. You noticed and thought that he finally found a girl and was keeping her secret. You being a master over thinker, the thought drove you crazy so much so you went to him in rage. But when he saw you, he never moved so quickly to hold you, as you yelled and beat at his chest. He felt a calm come over him and he held you tighter, you kinda calmed down not expecting this from him. “ billy” the way he looked up broke you. you pushed back, backing away “ no,no” he reached out gently around your face, kissed you deeply, you felt the tension and anger, rage, sadness in this kiss and like every single “break up” you kissed back returning it, you ran your fingers through his hair as he brought you closer. You pulled back as you both breathed heavy. Looking into each other’s eyes. You felt your body just become tired and angry, heavy tears ran down your face. He pulled you closer into his chest. You sobbed “ I hate you” he only held you tighter “ forgive me y/n, forgive me please” you never heard him beg even when he’s father held broke bottles to his throat he didn’t beg but this was a beg to live and not be alone “ y/n please, stay with me” you felt his chest rumble and shoulders shake “ I’ll be better y/n please “ you look up seeing the blue eyes you loved ooo so much pooled with tears and filled pain “ y/n pl-“ you cut his off, being inches from his face cupping his cheeks and crying too.” Ooo shut up” you sighed “ why do we do this “ he felt his chest become tight and his skin go cold, he knew the real reason but never said it out loud. You look at him “ why billy, why” he moves your hands with his having you lean on his chest. “ we fear being alone” you felt you heart ache, he was right. He was always right. You lean ur head kissing his jaw moving your arm over his shoulder. “But do you love me “ without hesitation he spoke

“ yes, I adore you “ you turn looking into his eyes searching for a lie but found nothing. He looks up “ do you love me “ you smile lightly “ yes”. Let’s just say the next morning you woke up in his bed, both naked intertwined with each other and in love.

Hope For The Hopeless

Hope for the hopeless

Billy Hargrove x reader

“WILLIAM” you growled, you glared at him so hard your upper lip twitched as you came through the door slamming it behind you. He laid his weights down looking over his shoulder putting his cigarette out. Meeting your glare just to return it “ y/n” he turned fully then the fighting ensued. “ you really think I’m that dumb “ you stick ur finger in his face “ whatever she said was a lie, you really have no faith y/n” you didn’t know why but you pushed him back yelling at him. Growled as you both were in each other’s face yelling. “ ya know what billy, ya know what “ in his cocky tone he mocked you “ know what y/n , know what” he had his hand on his hip still fuming. You look him dead in the eye “ we are done, and I mean it. All we do is fight and all I ever hear is how you miss your whores. Thinking your comments are funny. Then on top of it you just let two of the schools biggest idiots run me Into the ground. You know they start all the rumors along with your little whores” you were fuming at this point finger in his face “ then I hear about how your talking to mrs.wheeler, ya think that’s funny. She’s in her thirties” he rolled his eyes, “ it was harmless” he glared, you glared back only seeing red. When you threw the phone book by the door At him, took the brut of it to his arms and you just kinda started to back up and smile in a way to seem annoying. “ ya know what have. A good life” you ripped the necklace off throwing it to his feet, before he could get a word out” you slammed the door. Billy looked towards the door in a frozen state trying to even process what had happened, it all hit him when the necklace laid on the ground, in his heart he felt the realization that it was over, there wasn’t gonna be a next time by the time he reached the door you were already gone. He gripped the necklace “ y/n “. For the next couple days, he held this hope like he always did, knowing you come back and kiss him and hold him. You come to the pool or pop up at his. Window, he would stay up an extra hour at night waiting for your little tap but it never came. He thought he was okay, he thought you just needed space and you be back in no time but no, a week turned into two then two to three. He sat on the post at the pool, a part of him waiting for you to come in but ya never did. He felt his heart start to really sink, he messed up and he needed you. He signed running his fingers through this hair, he sat on his bed staring into space, it all hit him hard. A tear fell down his cheek. After that night he didn’t care what he did or needed to say, he needed you. It was late like midnight when he broke and came to your window he looked in seeing your back to the window, he felt a smile forming on his lips seeing you in his tshirt. He tapped lightly causing you to jump, which honestly happened even when he called you to tell you. Your face shifted through many emotions, you over close opening it “ bill-“ he cut you, placing his hand behind you head and kissed you deeply, you didn’t understand why you always fell again and again but the way he moved his lips made your heart skip a beat, you gripped his shirt pulling him further in lips still connected as he wrapped his arms around your waist, you jumped wrapping your legs around him, you both Fell onto your bed, both desperate and frustrated, angry but ooo so stupid for one another. You pull away feeling tears fall from your face and you finally just let it all out. The pain of the fight and days apart broke you, when you would out of habit reach for the necklace, it broke you to find your neck empty. He rested his forehead on yours wiping your tears away, the shirt you wore slightly up. He kissed you cheek and neck “ I’m sorry billy” he ran his fingers through your hair and hummed “ no y/n” he looked you in the eyes and sighs “ I’m sorry, I’m supposed to be a good boyfriend and I haven’t been, this month has been hell” you hummed “ I forgive you billy, I missed you so much “ you felt the. Tears but he just smiled kissing you more, he removed his jacket and shoes.

He move his right arm to cup your thighs and then to go under your arm, lifting you up towards your pillows, he spooned you kissing the back of your neck holding you tightly. He was so close, he felt himself becoming whole again, the only women to really learn him was back in his arms. He intertwined his fingers with yours, you giggled lightly smelling his strong Cologne and hint of cigarettes, you turn cupping his cheek kissing him deeply closing your eyes, you put all your love into that kiss. As the street lights came on. The whole world continue to spend you slept better that night. “ I love you billy”, “ I love you more y/n”

Billy Hargrove X Reader Toxic Relationship!

Billy Hargrove x reader toxic relationship!

To say the relationship was good would be a lie both of you on your own paths even when ur paths crossed it was a inconvenient but it kept happening. He asked ya out. Ya said yes and the rest was history only took a week for both of you to be at each other’s throats. You were possessive and a over thinker, a control freak. He was loud rude, possessive, easily provoked. So the night he said he call, he didn’t which left you to overthink. You got mad and he got frustrated with ur silence and ignoring him. He slammed your locker and the look in your eyes made him feel like his fight or flight kicked in, he returned the glare never to be overpowered or undermined. Through closed teeth you told him to meet you. When you both meet, it was good nobody was around and no real objects were around. You both went at it, you accused him of wanting another girl and he blew up because he hated explaining himself or being questioned. The night ended heated but with one gesture and one glance you both held a bond so tight. It all felt so right but it was so wrong. Both ppl with a mindset of being in control constantly brought things down in fire, you held him when he’s dad went on his rampages and beat billy or took his sons pride and stomped it, you held a part of his heart with that. He held yours by giving you the attention your dad never did, you gave him a stool, a platform, a stage to be viewed as a higher power. You wanted any male affection so the fact the most loved and wanted boy in the school wanted you gave you a sense of power. With that when you both would “break up” you both felt that void, that cold aching void. It would eat billy up when he lay in his bed with your perfume mocking him and your shoes or jacket laid in a part of his room. It all mocked him and showed him how much he missed you. For you it was the habit of looking towards the window or his leather jack draped over the chair in front of your vanity or a lighter on your side table. The make up was always like you both first meet full of genuine love and gently words. Wasn’t like you both didn’t love each other or plan a future together but you both were damaged but your traumas made you both fight. The night after the fight, he called and you went out with him, you leaned on your arm as it hung out the open window, you heard the infamous click and puff. He’s window down too. You both sat in silence, you turn ur head looking at him and he looked at you, he moved his hand around your throat placing butterfly kissed your lip, not long kisses but some that lingered on your lips made ya forget. The taste of the cigarette was on his lips but ya didn’t care. His thumb moved over your lips after the kisses, he hums “why do we do this” you felt how your heart ached, you knew what he meant. Why do we fight and argue but come back to this. “ because we know nobody else wants us like we want each other” you said it so coldly, it was as if billy shiver. He moved his hand behind your head, you felt his fingertips on your scalp, closing your eyes sinking into his touch, you turn your head seeing the baby blue eyes that can turn dark in a minute stare back at you. You wanted to kill for him but kill him at the same time. You look over him seeing his red shirt slightly unbuttoned and his gold locket rest over his collar bone, you move your fingers up holding it in your palm on his chest. You both would just touch to touch not a sexual touch but a touch to make ya imprint on it, a touch that made ya rethink it and giggle and stomach flip. He’s hand moved to your cheek as he leaned closer, you moved your hands to his neck as your lips connect, you lived off his kisses. The way they moved and just fit yours so perfect got you every time, how his hand would wrap around ya and rest on your hips as you both kissed deeply, you wrap your arms around his neck. Between kisses he say I love you pulling you closer, you both wised to breath another way hating to pull apart but both always left breathing heavy and flustered. You would kiss his chin and neck,

he would kiss your forehead and nose. A deep passion full of love and want along with desire a unhealthy desire. Only to have it be covered by the arguments or rumors. You wished for theses moments to be forever but you never held you tongue and he never held his which was the cause of petty arguments and unresolved issue. Why did everything have to end with a finger in the face or a door coming off the hinges. The fire you both held was the same that burned you both. But this moment made you believe in hope for you both, a memory to keep the “break ups” a joke, even ppl at school knew that if someone heard of you both breaking up, they would laugh knowing the case and the process. You laugh lightly still up on him, he raises a brow humming. You smile “ we are terrible” he only hums and kisses you again. “ but we are stuck together” and that’s what you wanted to hear till you die.

FUUUUUUUCCK MAN THIS IS SOME GOOD SHIT

Cold as Ice

Billy Hargrove x Reader

Summary: Billy just doesn’t understand why you’re so cold to him. He becomes desperate to warm you up. But, the killer heat of Hawkins combined with a stupid school project gives him the chance to know what’s truly underneath all that ice.

Warnings: cursing, smut, sExUal tenSion, some angst, some fluff, LOTS OF SIN

A/N: Definitely my filthiest fic at the moment, enjoy!

Cold As Ice

“You’re my partner.”

You look up from the register, hands on your hips as you stare at Billy Hargrove with a blank, unamused expression. There are a few people behind him, arms crossed against their chests - Tommy, Carol, and some other bimbo.

Funnily, you realize that they all resemble a group of poodles.

Cute.

Billy raises his eyebrows at you, smacking his gum as he impatiently awaits for a response. You glance at the folder that he slaps down onto the counter, knowing exactly what it contains.

“Hm, didn’t think you guys were recruiting for the next douchebag of Hawkins High. Are these the applications?” You finally pick up the folder, skimming through the thick pages of paper with a toothy smirk. “To be honest, I consider myself more of a bitch than a douchebag. Isn’t that right, Harrington?”

You chuckle devilishly as you hand Steve a couple dollars, who snickers at the interaction. Billy seems confused, but by the way he clenches his jaw and barely blinks, you can tell you’ve also hit a spot.

“Looks like I’ve won the bet, Y/N. Fuck, yeah! Robin! I told you I would win!” Steve runs into the back room of Scoops Ahoy, waving the dollar bills at his friend.

You turn back to Billy, re-adjusting the hat on your head. “Now, can I get you something, pool boy?” You lean over, hands splayed onto the cool marble of the counter.

“Did you not pick up on what I just said? I’m asking you to be my partner for the project. No, I’m picking you to be my partner.” Billy tries to keep a steady voice, but you easily catch the deep breath he takes between his words. His ‘friends’ are whispering behind him, exchanging dirty looks.

“Well, I’m actually not allowed to have personal conversations with customers right now,” Billy scoffs, tugging his lip between his teeth. “And so, if you aren’t ordering ice cream, then be my guest, and leave. I’ve got a few angry customers to deal with if you can’t tell.” He follows your pointed gaze, and surely enough, the line behind him is fairly long - filled with crying kids and irritated parents. “Come back later? Or never at all?”

Billy groans, pacing in short steps. He knows you’ll come around. They always come around.

You truly are a bitch.

Yet, somehow, Billy waits till the end of your shift to speak with you - hopefully in a more private spot and in a less aggressive manner.

You roll your eyes when you see him, sitting by the table nearest to the register. He seems to be alone, yet it annoys you even more.

“I don’t wanna be your partner, Hargrove. Is that not clear?” Your eyes follow him as he stands up. He’s much taller than you, so you can only send him an intimidating glare in hopes of scaring him away. “Pick someone else. And let me give you a hint - it’s not me.”

Billy inhales deeply, before a small smile forms on his face. He grabs your arm before you can walk away, hoping that he can win you over with his charm. But he knows he has to put away his pride to do so.

“Sweetheart, I really need help with this project. You’re the smartest girl in our class, and if you can’t tell, I hang around a bunch of dumbasses.”

Oh, so this is why he was alone. So he could talk crap about his shitty friends.

Billy continues, smile never wavering. He still has his hand wrapped around your arm, holding you in place as he speaks by your ear. “And anyways, it’s already set in stone. I asked Mrs. Johnson if I could pair up with you. She thought it was a great idea. Guess we’re in this together now, huh?”

He harshly pushes the folder of papers into your chest, letting go of your arm.

“What? You can’t do that!”

But he certainly did do that. Because when you storm into Mrs. Johnson’s classroom on one Monday morning, she’s rambling over how excited she is to have you and Billy working together.

“But Mrs. Johnson, I never agreed to this. How is this fair?” You whine, waving the folder around with wide eyes.

“Miss Y/N, you’ll be doing Billy a huge favor by helping him. He isn’t failing, but he is struggling. He could most definitely use your help.”

Despite all the complaining, Mrs. Johnson doesn’t allow you to pick anyone else. To her convenience, you and Billy are the only ones who haven’t had a designated partner - and now, you really don’t have a choice.

-

The next week, Billy is back in Scoops Ahoy. He can see your snarl from the other side of the mall. He’s got you trapped in cage, and he knows you’re having a hard time trying to adapt to it.

“I knew that he’d pick you.” Steve says through a mouthful of banana, hitting you in the face with its peel. “I mean, you’re the only girl - besides Robin - who hasn’t given into him. He’s probably just trying to cross off your name on his list.”

“He has a list?” You gag dramatically, protesting as Robin pushes you jokingly.

“Dude, Y/N, he’s literally coming over here.” She points at Billy, who actually is coming over.

“I don’t care. Change spots with me. Steve! Robin!” You shout, pulling at the ends of your hair as they run into the back room, locking the door behind them. “Screw you both!”

You turn around, meeting eyes with the damned Billy Hargrove. You fake a smile. If this was a cartoon, steam would certainly be coming out from your ears.

“Bad day?” Billy pouts mockingly at you. His hands rest inside the pockets of his jeans, eyes looking over your angry state. “Should I come back or....”

“Actually, no. But you know what?” You slide yourself over the counter, brushing away at the lint that has accumulated on your blue shorts. “I’m not doing this stupid project alone. You’re staying here till my shift is over. And when it is, you’re gonna drive your ass to my house, where the both of us can work on it. Together. Happy now, douchebag?”

Your breath is almost minty, and somehow feels cool against Billy’s skin. He steps back with a cocky grin, raising his hands as if he were surrending to you.

But he wasn’t surrendering.

“You just gave Team Hargrove one point. But Team Y/L/N? Zero.” Billy snaps with a flash of his pearly whites. He crouches down to your height, hands resting on his thighs. He knows that he is pissing you off. “I’ll see you when you’re done.” Then, you cross your arms at him, nose pointing up as he stands to full height. His eyes flicker down to your lips. “And honestly? I think I’m more of a dick than a douchebag.”

You want to slap the stupid grin of his face. But you don’t. You don’t know the real reason behind it, but you try to convince yourself as to why.

Because it’s against company policy?

Steve and Robin poke their heads out of the other room, coming out when Billy cockily walks away from you. You’re still standing there, eyes narrowed and face drawn into a look of displeasure.

“Should we not bother her?” Steve whispers, elbowing Robin. “I kinda don’t wanna get yelled at right now.”

“No, no, Steve. She’s hotter when she’s angry. Trust me.”

“Guys!” You scoff at them. She laughs at the sudden smile on your face, eyebrows raised in surprise.

“I mean, she’s not wrong, Y/N.” Steve shrugs before taking your place at the register. “You’re pretty hot, I guess.”

“Oh, stop it, Harrington. I’m out of your league.” You wink at him, hopping back over the counter.

You let out an exasperated breath when Robin tells you to sort out the shipments in the back. You push the back door open, groaning audibly when you see the tall stack of cardboard boxes. There’s a clipboard on the table in the middle of the room, and you read over it lazily before you begin to sort through the deliveries.

No one really knows why you despise Billy. Not Steve, not Robin, not anyone. It seems as if you had woke up, saw him, and decided that he was someone you disliked.

That was partly true.

But in detail, you did dislike - or hate, whichever was fitting based on your mood - Billy for a few things.

You never understood his sudden popularity, or the sex appeal he carried along with him. You never understood the hair, the smoking, the people he hung around, or the recklessness and the partying.

You just didn’t get it. You didn’t get why people would waste their time around him, when clearly, he wasn’t grateful for any of it.

Maybe your hatred of him spiraled from insecurity.

He had everything. He was popular and easy on the eyes. He was charming and fun. You’d never admit it out loud, but he truly seemed like a good guy, underneath that whole douchebag act of his.

You were nothing alike. Or so you thought.

-

“Honey! There’s someone here for you!” Your mother calls out from the bottom of the stairs, a slight smirk on her face when she realizes how handsome your guest is. You come barreling down the stairs, feet heavy and frowning deeply when you see who’s sitting on the sofa.

“Billy.”

“Y/N!” He comes to meet you, pulling you into an embrace. Your reaction is one of utter shock, because suddenly, all you can smell is expensive cologne and the faint scent of cigarettes. “Your mother was just asking me if we wanted to join her for lunch.”

“Oh. Uh, thank you, but we have to work on a project, Mom.” You send Billy a look, clearing your throat when you see his lips twitch upwards. “We’ll be upstairs.”

Your mom disappears into the living room, giving you both a second glance and a knowing look as you jog up the stairs.

“How do you know where I live?”

“That little girl from the mall? I think she’s Sinclair’s sister. Bought her some ice cream when I saw it fall, she just returned the favor.”

Erica. Damn it.

“Okay, well, I didn’t think you’d be here so soon.” You complain, running your hands through your hair, damp from a shower. Billy follows you into your bedroom, shutting the door behind him. He takes in the sight, something he wouldn’t expect from someone like you. There are various posters plastered onto your soft pink walls - band posters, movie posters, and he huffs at the one of a shirtless man. There’s a record player on top of your bookcase, where you stand, occupied as you flip through your vinyls. “What’s your cup of tea? Queen? The Beatles? Metallica? Foreigner?”

“I really don’t care.” He scoffs, licking his lips as he takes a seat on your bed.

Foreigner it is, then.

“And I really don’t want you on my bed. Get off, Hargrove.” You throw a paper ball at him, hiding the smile on your face when he doesn’t dodge it in time. “Thought you played basketball. What happened to those reflexes?”

With a dramatic eye roll, Billy tosses the ball into the trash, sliding off of the bed and onto the floor instead. You grab the project folder from your study table, sitting down across from him. You’re reading through the directions when Billy starts to light a cigarette.

And you gasp - really loud. “Billy! No! None of that in here.” You take the cigarette from his lips, his coughs fading in the background as you throw it out your window. “Are you crazy?”

“I just wanted a smoke!”

“Yeah?! Then not in here!” You shake your head at him, handing him a sheet of paper as you calm down. “Your turn to read, asshole.”

Your begins to head become fuzzy as Billy’s fingers brush against yours when he grabs the paper.

He reads, voice soft and surprisingly enthusiastic - if he didn’t act like such a dumbass, you’d think he was somewhat intelligent.

(However, you know he is intelligent - somewhere in that douchebag brain of his - though, that’s one of the things you could never admit to anyone).

The room is suddenly blazing hot, uncomfortably warm despite the numerous open windows. The air conditioning isn’t enough, and you’re silently cursing as you feel sweat build up among your skin. You’re fanning yourself, swallowing as you notice the bead of sweat that rolls down the side of Billy’s forehead.

“God damn, it’s hot.” Billy curses, unable to continue reading with how tight his chest feels. He tugs at the collar of his shirt, hoping he could get some sort of air.

“Our air conditioning sucks.” You push your hair back, “Summer’s coming.”

Billy nods in agreement, picking up from where he had left off.

Maybe it’s just the heat, but suddenly, you start to space out.

Your eyes focus on the rise and fall of Billy’s tan chest, how his skin glows with sweat, and how his muscles flex under that shirt of his.

Oh, wow.

“Y/N? Did you hear me?” You snap out of your trance. “Hope you haven’t passed out.” He sets the paper down, leaning back against your bed frame.

“Huh? Sorry, I - I was distracted.”

Don’t let your guard down.

“I was asking which part you wanted to do.”

“Uh, whichever one is the hardest. I can take it.”

And Billy stops breathing. Maybe because there’s some sort of - sexual - euphemism in that sentence, but also because he’s noticing how flushed you look: cheeks red, skin glistening, breaths heavy. Your hair sticks to your arms, resting on the tops of your knees. But then, he sees this look in your eyes.

It’s not the normal glare he gets. But your eyes are softer, less intense, more - was that longing?

You’re just staring at him, lips slightly parted as your eyes quickly drop down to the floor.

“Unless, um, you want the harder part then you can have it, I guess.” You pipe up, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. You’re avoiding his gaze, and Billy isn’t sure that he recognizes this Y/N.

Did he win you over yet? That easily?

“Here, you can look over it with me again.” Billy scoots beside you, his denim-clad thigh pressed up against your bare one. His breaths are even, blowing over your hands as you hold up the paper. “I was thinking I could do the research on the biographical context and symbolism, and...” He glances over to you, eyes trailing over the expanse of your neck. Your jaw is tightly clenched, but you don’t meet his stare. “... and then, maybe you could do the overall analysis. Or we could do it differently, if this way doesn’t meet your standards, princess.” His voice is low, a sultry tone laced subtly in his words. He peeks his tongue out to lick his lips, and you look over at that exact moment.

Aw, shit. You wouldn’t give up that easily, would you?

He’s not the only one that can play this game.

“No, I like your idea. We can do that.” You turn to him, hair slightly hitting him in the face. You pucker your bottom lip slightly, rolling it between your teeth as you pass him the paper back.

“Is it getting hot in here?”

Not this line.

“Nope, just you.” You let out a sharp exhale, reading over more of the project.

“Whew. I gotta take off my shirt.”

“Excuse me?” Your eyes nearly bulge out of your skull, causing you to drop your pencil. But it’s too late once Billy is pulling his shirt over his head. “Hey!”

Though, he wears a tank top underneath.

And honestly, you’re kind of disappointed.

Wait, what?

He hurls the shirt towards your bed, running his hands through his messy curls. His arms look even bigger, and you can see the faint outline of his abs through the thin, white material. You catch the tattoo on his upper bicep, and you have to put a hand to your mouth from saying anything - now this was ruining you.

Don’t give in.

“Like what you see, Y/L/N?” He flexes his arms in a subtle manner, biting down harshly on his lip. He grunts as he leans over to pick up your pencil, handing it to you. “Didn’t mean to make you drop this.”

Yeah. Apology accepted. Jerk.

“If this is your way of seducing me, it isn’t working.” You cross your ankles over each other, shaking your head at Billy.

He laughs, running his hand through his hair. “And why would I want to seduce you, Y/N?”

The question does sting, but it doesn’t change the fact that his face is literally inches away from yours.

You aren’t done playing the game.

“Oh, I don’t know, Billy. Maybe because I’m the only girl on that - that list of yours that you haven’t yet crossed out? Or is it because you’ve fucked all the pretty girls at school and you’ve finally come to the realization that you’d rather fuck someone with a bit of brains?”

Billy hums with a slow, antagonistic nod, tongue poking out from the corner of his lips. He abruptly stands up, turning up the volume on your record player. He’s dancing. But the bitter look on his face is all you can focus on. You stand up as well, pouting as you lower the volume of the music. It’s a back and forth between you, Billy, and the music.

“The problem with pretty girls, Y/N...” He starts between breaths, still dancing as you stand ahead of him - not happy. “... is that they can’t tell when a guy is no longer interested in them. They got the looks, but no brain.” He chuckles, parting his lips as he taps the side of his head. “And the girls that do have brains? They also got a problem. They’re smart, sure, but they just don’t know when to quit being a bitch.”

That’s when he turns up the music to full volume, hooting in your face as he dances even more.

This was Billy Hargrove at his finest.

“We’re never gonna get this project done if you keep thinking with your dick instead of your head, asshole.” You almost growl. You’re fuming now.

He really knows how to piss a girl off, huh?

“You ever had a boyfriend, Y/N?”

No. Never.

“Yeah, I have. Why?” You gulp, pushing past Billy. You sit down on your bed, continuing on writing your analysis for the project.

“What was his name?”

“Uh - It was - It’s Steve.”

What are you doing?

“You dated Harrington? King Steve?” He slowly stops dancing, panting loudly as he looks down at you.

“Dating him, actually.”

Oh, God.

“Huh. You ever had sex with him?”

“Hargrove, this is getting a little personal.” You chuckle nervously.

“Is that a... no?” He crouches down in front of you, eyes blinking at you. He’s catching on. Surely, you weren’t this good of a liar. “I’ll take that as a no. Must suck, yeah? Harrington doesn’t know how to handle a woman like you. Poor Y/N. You just want a little lovin’ from King Steve...”

His thumb hooks itself under your chin.

And his blue eyes are almost hypnotizing.

“Are you really dating Steve Harrington? ‘Cause you seem a lot out of his league. You’re not even in the ballpark, baby.”

His big hand cups your jaw, fingers rubbing against your skin. Somehow, his hands are freezing - despite the hundred degree weather.

“I have a... boyfriend.”

Billy knows you’re lying now.

“Why are you so cold to me, Y/N?” His eyes are fixed on your lips, flickering up to you when you speak.

“I don’t know. Why are you such a douchebag?”

“Sure. I’m a dick, but you - you’re somethin’ else. You are mean. Steve seems a little soft for someone as headstrong as you.” He shrugs animatedly, “Maybe you’re looking for a - a... thrill.”

“What do you want from me?” You scoff at him.

“I think I know why you hate me.” You hold your breath as he continues, “We’re more alike than you think we are.”

“Yeah? I’d like to hear it, then.”

Deathmatch.

“We both crave something more. Most people go after someone with a little... heat to their name, but us? We thrive in the cold.”

“You’re wrong.” You shake your head at him.

“Then why am I still touching you?” He stands, hands leaving your jaw.

No, come back.

“Billy, this - this isn’t-“

“Surely, your boyfriend wouldn’t like the way I was touching you, wouldn’t he? What’s Steve gonna do if he finds out? Fight me?”

“Steve’s not my boyfriend! Fine! You win!” You explode, rising to your feet.

And it all comes rushing back to you.

You both really are alike.

“You see it now, don’t you? All this competing, this - this fighting, we clash because we’re the same. And it scares you. Because who would’ve thought you had something in common with the douchebag from school, huh?”

He takes a step closer to you. And you do the same to him.

“Smart girls need attention, too.” He says softly, leaning in to whisper at your ear. “But you... you’ve been looking for someone who’s as cold as you. And I respect that, Y/N.”

You make the mistake of locking eyes with him when he pulls back.

“I’m way out of Steve’s league.”

You look down at his plump lips, glancing at how his neck bobs when he pushes your hair behind your shoulder.

There’s an unfamiliar feeling that sparks in your chest when Billy’s fingers trail past your collarbone.

“Can I kiss you now? Because all this tension might give me high blood pressure.” He smirks at you.

You don’t reply.

But you do lean forward, on the tips of your toes, mashing your lips against Billy’s. Your hands are cool against his shimmering skin.

The kiss isn’t sweet, but fueled with fire and pent-up anger. Billy is fast enough to show you that he really wants you, but at the same time, he’s slow, wanting to prove to you that you aren’t just another name on his so-called ‘list.’

You don’t give a shit about winning anymore.

Stubble tickles your cheeks as Billy moves to kiss your neck.

“This doesn’t... this doesn’t change the fact that I still hate you...” You breathe raggedly, screwing your eyes shut at how his mouth feels on your neck.

He tugs at the straps of your tank top, pulling it over your head as he hoists you up into his arms. Your legs wrap around his hips, and you can feel the tightness form in his jeans.

“God, you’ve been such a bitch to me for the past week.” He moans into your skin, pressing you up against your bedroom door as he uses one hand to hold you, and the other to unclasp your bra. You let out a choked moan, only for Billy to place his hand over your mouth. “Don’t forget that your mama is downstairs. What would she think if she saw me doing this to her daughter?”

You bite at his hand, smiling as he groans pleasurably at the sensation.

He’s so rough, but you’re enjoying it.

Billy swivels on the heels of his shoes, laying you down onto your bed as he kisses down your torso. His saliva sticks to your skin, and he chuckles when he watches you arch your back into him. Your hand reaches for his, and he doesn’t pull away - despite how intimate the action is for him.

Billy Hargrove doesn’t hold hands with flings.

That’s how he really knows you aren’t one of them.

“B-Billy...” You gasp as his lips pass over your breasts, his hands cupping and kneading them softly.

He reaches up to kiss you again, whispering, “This isn’t your first time, right?”

You shake your head, “No, no.”

“Okay.” He nods with a grin, taking off his top. “But no one is ever gonna make you feel this good.”

He groans as you crawl to the edge of the bed, playing with him through his jeans. You glance up at him innocently, his fingers card through your hair. You leave short kisses on his abs, slowly making your way up to his neck. You suck and lick at it, surely leaving a prominent mark there. He pulls out his belt, flinging it onto the floor as you unbutton his jeans for him.

He licks his lips, pushing you back down onto the bed. You scoot over, making room for him as he takes off your shorts. You chuckle when he moans at the sight of lace.

“Didn’t know you were wearing those.” He says, obviously surprised as he wraps his fingers around the waistband, letting it snap against your skin. You gasp, letting his hands wander over your back.

“Just be glad I’m letting you see them.”

He flips you over so that you’re on your knees, ass in his face as he pulls the lace panties past your ankles.

You bite back a loud moan. His face and his mouth is down there and you swear you’ve entered heaven itself.

Hell was too hot for the both of you, anyways.

He hums against you, the vibrations nearly sending you over the edge as he toys with you in places you didn’t even know existed. He pulls away, causing you to whimper.

But as you look back at him, the sight is enough to make you cum. His boxers are nowhere to be seen, and instead, he’s touching himself, grinning as he sees the dumbfounded expression on your face.

“You’re okay with this?” He asks, furrowing his eyebrows. You’re shaking your head. “I need to hear it out loud.” He kisses your lower back, hands caressing your ass.

“Yes. Please.”

“Condom?”

You wink, rubbing yourself against him. “On the pill.”

Billy lets out a moan, chuckling. “Mm, that’s my girl.”

You hold back a breath as he pushes himself into you. He’s huge, and it stings with how much he’s stretching you out. You let out a sob of pleasure, hand coming to touch Billy’s upper thigh.

“Slow?” He asks, voice gruff as he bottoms out. You’re sure that he’s as deep as possible, but part of you longs for him to go even deeper.

“No, fast.”

Billy pulls out, only to slam back in. His movements are quick, hips thrusting at a rapid pace. You’re moaning, falling into the mattress with how good he feels inside you.

“Holy fuck!” He grunts as he leans over you, hand coming to rest by your face. He outstretches his fingers, and you take his hand into yours. “Y/N...”

“We have to - to be quiet...” You moan once more, throwing your head back as his arm wraps around your stomach, pulling you closer to him.

He pounds into you, grunting as silently as possible. You can feel the heat radiating off of him.

“Good girl, such a good girl for me.” He cries out, taking a fistful of your hair. You yelp out of surprise when he gently pulls you back.

You liked that.

“D-do that again.” You stutter, mumbling incoherent words when he repeats the action.

The record player still plays music.

And you’re so grateful that it’s loud enough to silence the filthy sounds between you and Billy.

Thank God for that.

But this... this was a whole new level of sinful.

Billy brings a hand to touch your throat. And you nod in approval, shutting your eyes when you feel the pads of his fingers tighten around your airway. He’s still soft and cautious, but the way he was fucking you was enough to send you into overdrive.

Your hand comes up from the bed, jaw hanging open in utter bliss as you flex your fingers. “I’m gonna cum. Billy, holy, I-“

“C’mon, baby.” Thrust. “I’m right there...” Thrust. “...With you.”

You’re cumming.

Your legs are shaking and you feel the wave of heat fall over your body like a spell. Billy follows shortly, groaning sinfully as he buried himself inside you. He pulls out, pumping himself as he lets himself go on your back. You feel the warm drops of his cum drizzle across your back and over your ass, trickling down your thighs and between your legs before you fall onto the bed.

“Oh, my god.” You sigh, curling up. Billy falls beside you, eyes studying your features for any sign of pain or sadness.

“Was that okay?”

“I just had sex with Billy Hargrove. Oh, my-“ Your hand comes up to massage your temples.

He chuckles.

“And I just had sex with you, so I guess we’re pretty even.” He states, kissing your neck one last time.

He’ll give it to you.

You both win.

But who said that the game would be over?

-

“Here’s the project, Mrs. Johnson.” You smile respectfully, exchanging glances with Billy as you hand her the folder. Her eyes bounce from you both, hands sorting through the papers of the project.

“This looks good.” She nods, eyebrows raised when she finds the part that Billy had worked on. “Wow, Y/N must’ve been a great help to you, Billy.”

“Yeah. She helped me a lot.”

Billy links his pinky with yours under the table, where your thigh rests against his. His fingers come to toy with the hem of your skirt, and his touch: cold.

“Well, I might say that this project deserves an A. It looks very well-planned and thought out.” She takes off her reading glasses, placing them carefully on her desk as she re-organizes your papers. “How would you feel about an extra credit project, Billy? Just to boost your grade a little more before the year ends?”

You and Billy share a knowing grin.

It’s wicked.

It’s spiteful.

It’s cold as ice.

But there’s an inextinguishable heat that lingers between the two of you.

“As long as Miss Y/N can be of help to me.” He flashes a charming smile, hands coming up to rest on the wooden desk.

“Of course, Mr. Hargrove.”

You shut the door of the classroom behind you, following Billy into the bustling hallway towards the cafeteria.

He turns to you and winks as he turns the corner, denim jacket slung over his shoulder.

“See you later, partner.”

“Later, douchebag.”

Oh, how you loved the cold.

“What are you doing, princess?” Billy whispers and his daughter jumps in her tiny feet.

Billy doesn’t even know how she got scared since he even turned on the lights, but he still laughed.

“Up, Daddy” The kid says with her arms up in his direction, opening and closing her fists.

Billy unwraps his arm from around your shoulders and you just move a bit closer to his chest. He picks Y/D/N up from the ground and she sits down in front of him, with her hair looking like a bird’s nest and her face swollen from sleeping.

“I had nightmare, daddy” She whispers and Billy gives her a small smile.

“What was it about?” Billy whispers at her.

“About you and mommy” She whispers as a little pout started forming in her lips. “In my dream, you and mommy disappeared in beach” She says with her messy English as her eyes fill in with tears.

I never knew that I needed this, this adorable story

Family - Dad!Billy Hargrove

Type: Fluff

Summary: You and Billy have two kids and ran away from Hawkins. Neil doesn’t know about them.

Warning: English is not my first language. Sorry if I misspelled something.

A/N: Gif is not mine :)

Y/D/N - Your daughter’s name

Y/S/N - Your son’s name

You wake up and the sun light hits you right in the face right when you open your eyes. You turn around quickly and hold back a groan. You look over Billy and almost ‘awn’ out loud at the sight.

Your boyfriend, Billy, is sleeping peacefully on his back and your 2 year old daughter is sleeping on his chest, her chubby cheeks pressed on his skin and her parted lips make a way so a little drool falls into Billy.

You brush her curly hair out of her chubby cute face and Y/D/N hums into your touch.

It’s pretty late, but it’s Sunday so nobody is giving fuck about getting up early.

Y/D/N falls back into her deep sleep as you pull away and you look up at Billy. The peaceful look on his face just makes your smile come back.

You two found out that you were pregnant after you were almost graduating. Billy didn’t tell anyone and worked two jobs for a few months so the both of you could have enough money to survive alone. Your family was supportive and didn’t tell anyone either.

You two ended up getting an apartment not too far from Hawkins, since you didn’t have enough money to move to California, as Billy wanted.

Billy’s family think that you just left Hawkins together because you wanted to be independent.

It’s been 2 years since your baby girl was born, and you two now have full-time jobs and a better apartment. But … you two had another kid a half year ago, this time everything went way smoother, since you two didn’t need to stress over not having enough money for food and a place to stay.

Music on Main

Billy Hargrove x Dustin’s Sister!reader

This is my first fic so please be nice. I spent a good amount of time on this. I’m still upset about the way season three ended and I needed some soft Billy to cheer me up. It is completely okay to reblog my work as long as you credit me! Hope y'all enjoy it! (Constructive criticism is welcome) hmu with ideas for part 2!

A Billy Hargrove x Henderson!reader oneshot

Word count: 3,560ish (sorry)

(Y/n) climbed out of her car and shut the door. Scanning the parking lot, she saw her best friend Jonathan’s car parked in it’s normal spot next to Steve Harrington’s. After looking around a little more she decided that her friends had already headed inside.

“Alright Dus, I’ll see you after school. No bullshitting around afterwards either if you boys really wanna go to the arcade. Okay?” she said, tossing her little brother his bag from the backseat. Dustin nodded and shouted bye before rushing off towards the middle school. (Y/n) shook her head after him and started towards the doors of the high school.

The halls were crowded as usual but she immediately picked out Steve’s hair from the crowd and walked towards him. Nancy and Jonathan were standing in front of Steve’s locker with him, waiting on (Y/n)’s arrival most likely. They looked to be having a very animated conversation as she approached them.

“Yeah! And then Tommy hit the ground, I thought he was dead there for a minute,” Steve laughed as he recounted the events from the party the night before.

“I bet (Y/n) would have loved to see that,” Nancy teased as she noticed her friend approaching them. Hunter smirked.

“What? Tommy getting knocked out? You’re damn right I would’ve loved to see that,” she said, shoving Nancy’s arm playfully. Jonathan rolled his eyes playfully.

“Not just that,” he said bemusedly. “You would’ve loved to see who did it too.” Steve nodded along vigorously. Hunter quirked a brow at this and crossed her arms.

“So spill then, who beat the hell out of Tommy last night?” she asked. The three teens standing in front of her shared a look before Nancy cracked a smile.

“Hargrove,” she stated, a teasing look on her face. (Y/n)’s smile faltered slightly, not enough for the boys to catch, but Nancy noticed right away. (Y/n) rolled her eyes and tried to play it cool.

“Okay, and?” she asked rhetorically. “Why should I care what Hargrove does in his free time?” Nancy’s eyes grew to the size of dinner plates as she stared at her friend.

“Tommy has been pestering you for months and now that Hargrove beat his ass you play like you don’t care?” Nancy asks like she can’t believe what she is hearing. (Y/n) just shrugs as the guys look between the two ladies.

“I don’t know why he got his ass beat so I don’t really see the point in talking about it if it doesn’t involve me, Nance. Ya know?” she says with ease. Truth be told, (Y/n) had the biggest crush on Billy Hargrove and although she would never admit it to anyone, not even Jonathan, everyone in their small group could see it.

Before Nancy could reply, the bell rang to signal the start of school. (Y/n) waved goodbye to her friends as she walked in the opposite direction of the trio. The three of them had english first whereas (Y/n) had history. Walking into the classroom, she took her seat at her usual desk and pulled her notes out of her bag. Mr.Fink, the history teacher, was out for the day so the class had nothing to do. Usually on days like this she would just study the notes she had taken the day before.

After everyone had filed into the room, the sub started taking roll. Half the class had apparently skipped because there was barely anybody there. (Y/n) was focused on her notes so she didn’t look up to see who had sat down beside her.

“Hargrove?” the sub asked. A deep voice sounded from her right side and shivers ran up her spine. Billy Hargrove was sitting right next to her. “Henderson?” the sub continued. She raised her left hand.

“Here ma'am,” she replied politely before focusing her gaze back on her paper and trying to ignore Billy’s presence. Boy was that a hard thing to do with him this close to her.

“Hey Henderson, you got a pencil I can borrow?” Billy asked, leaning up on his elbows. Hunter reached down into her bag for one of her extras and turned to the man beside her.

“You can keep it if you-” (Y/n) started as she looked over at him. “Billy, what happened?” she asked worriedly as she took in the state of his face. He had a busted lip and a black eye that looked fresh. Billy narrowed his eyes.

“Nothing. Thanks for the pencil,” he said flatly as he snatched the pencil from her hand. She looked at him inquisitively before returning to her notes, glancing at him every so often to see if he was okay. His expression didn’t change for the whole class. It wasn’t long before the bell rang, telling the students to make their way to their next class. (Y/n) had two more classes with Billy before the day was over, he didn’t sit next to her again.

“Hey Steve!” (Y/n) shouted as she made her way across the parking lot after school let out. Steve looked over at her from where he was standing with Jonathan and Nancy at their cars.

“What’s up (Y/n/n)?” he asked as she approached. She tossed her bag to the ground and sat on the hood of his car.

“Did Billy have a busted lip last night after he got into that fight with Tommy?” she asked. “Or a black eye?” Jonathan furrowed his eyebrows and studied his best friends expression. Steve leaned on the hood next to her.

“Tommy barely got any hits in last night. And I don’t think any landed near Hargrove’s face. Did they Nance?” Steve replied, turning towards Nancy for clarification. Nancy shook her head. (Y/n) frowned and looked in the direction of her car. Most of the parking spots were empty now that everyone had left. Only one car remained parked next to hers. Hargrove’s car.

“Okay,” she said. “I was just wondering. I’m gonna go get the kids and take them to the arcade. They can stay at my place tonight and then I’ll drop them home in the morning. Would you mind letting Mrs.Sinclair know, Jonathan?” Jonathan nodded and (Y/n) climbed down from where she was seated. Steve got into his car and Nancy walked over to hers. Jonathan grabbed (Y/n)’s hand before she could walk off.

“Hey, I’m sure Billy is fine. Don’t worry too much okay?” he said, pulling her into a hug. She nodded against his chest and let go. Waving goodbye to her best friend, she made her way over to her car and started it up. If the kids wanted to go to the arcade they would need to leave soon.

• • •

(Y/n) pulled up to the arcade and put her car in park. The boys began unbuckling and grabbing at the doors, eager to get out and go into the building. She hit the lock button on her door before turning around to face the kids.

“7 o'clock, got it? If you still wanna go to Rosie’s then we gotta leave here at a decent time. Don’t be late,” she said before unlocking the doors and allowing the boys to climb out. They all shouted variations of “okay” before rushing inside. (Y/n) shook her head and laughed before getting out and shutting her door. She sat on the hood of her car, debating on what to do while she waited on her brother and his friends. She thought about going next door to the book store but her thoughts were cut short when a familiar blue Camero roared into the parking lot and parked beside her. A girl with firey red hair stepped out of the car and slammed the door before rushing to the entrance of the arcade. The window to the passenger door was down on the Camero so she hopped off of her hood and walked over to the car.

“Hey there Hargrove,” she said, leaning down to look inside the car. Billy peeled his eyes away from the entrance to the building and looked at her. He had a suspicious look on his face.

“Oh so you’re stalking me now huh?” he sassed as he turned the car off. (Y/n) raised a brow at him and shook her head.

“Nope, that’d be creepy,” she replied. Billy nodded in agreement.

“So what are you doing here then? You know, besides stalking me,” he retorted. (Y/n) stood back up and leaned against her driver door. Billy opened his door and got out, leaning his elbows on the roof and facing her.

“I brought my brother and his friends up here. Then we’re going to Rosie’s. I take it you brought Max?” she replied. She knew he had brought Max because she had seen her walk in the Arcade but she didn’t know what to say to him so she just stated the obvious. Billy nodded as he pulled a pack of smokes out of his jacket pocket and perched one between his lips. He held the carton out to (Y/n) but she declined his offer.

“Not a smoker huh?” Billy asked, placing the smokes back in his jacket. She scoffed at the suggestion.

“Not by a long shot,” she said, crossing her arms. Billy inhaled and blew the smoke out of his mouth, creating a haze around his face that was hard to see through. Even through the cloud of smoke, she could still clearly see his busted lip. She swallowed hard and tried to muster up the courage to ask him what had happened. She didn’t want a repeat of what happened in history that morning. Billy broke the silence before she could ask.

“Sorry about this morning, I didn’t mean to scare you or anything. I’m just not used to people worrying about me is all,” he said quietly, he was so quiet (Y/n) almost missed what he said completely.

“It’s okay Billy, I heard you got into it with Tommy last night and then I saw your eye and busted lip and I just got a little worried. You don’t have to apologize,” she replied, trying to think of what else to say to him. Billy shook his head and opened his mouth to say something but no words came out.

“It wasn’t Tommy,” Billy said after a minute. He looked at the ground for a while before he risked a glance at the girl in front of him. She had her brows knit and had stepped forward to lean on the roof of his car opposite him.

“You wanna talk about it?” (Y/n) asked carefully. Billy hesitated a minute before shaking his head. He didn’t want her pity. He had never told anyone about his dad so why should he tell this girl he barely knew. (Y/n) nodded in understanding before getting an idea.

“Well I heard there’s a new shipment of records and cassettes over at Ray’s. You wanna go check it out while we wait on the kids? If you don’t have any plans that is,” she suggested. Billy looked up at her and smiled ever so slightly.

“Let’s do it,” he said. “I wanna see if they have the new Metallica album in yet.” (Y/n) smiled back at him.

“Yeah, mom’s stupid cat tore up my Led Zeppelin cassette. Guess I should get a new one.” With that being said, the two teens walked across the street and into Ray’s Records where they spent the next two hours browsing music and talking about bands.

• • •

(Y/n) and Billy walked out of Ray’s right at 7 o'clock, each holding a box with cassettes in them. Billy had found the new Metallica cassette he had been looking for as well as some Motley Crue cassettes he’d been trying to get his hands on. (Y/n) had picked up a couple Led Zeppelin cassettes and a Metallica poster since Mews shredded hers. By the time the two of them reached their cars, the boys and Max were standing outside looking for them.

“Where have you been? You said 7 o'clock sharp. It’s 7:05!” Dustin said as the teens approached them. The older Henderson raised an eyebrow at her little brother.

“I said you had be out here at seven. I never said I would be here at seven sharp,” she replied, unlocking her car and sliding her box into the front seat. She stood back up and guestured for the boys to get in the car. Max had already climbed into the Camero and settled in, waiting on Billy.

“Thanks Henderson,” Billy said as he opened his door. (Y/n) smiled at him and nodded. Just as he was about to get in she turned back to him.

“Hey, do you and Max wanna grab dinner over at Rosie’s with me and the boys? I don’t know if you’ve been to Rosie’s yet but she has some kick-ass burgers,” she said, playing with her keys nervously. She was scared that she had over stepped her boundaries for the night. But to her surprise, Billy smiled at her over the roof of his car.

“Lead the way. We’ll follow behind you,” Billy replied before ducking into the Camero. (Y/n) quickly got situated in her seat and popped in her new Houses of the Holy cassette before starting her car and driving the five mile stretch of road to the diner.

“Why were you hanging out with that asshole?” Dustin questioned as his sister drove. She just rolled her eyes at her little brother and turned volume on the radio up. It didn’t take but a few minutes to make it to Rosie’s. After parking in her usual spot, (Y/n) got out and pulled her seat forward to let the boys pile out. Billy pulled up beside her, his Kill ‘Em All cassette blaring as loud as he could stand it.

“You’re gonna blow your eardrums out doing that Billy,” (Y/n) joked as Billy shut his door.

“Oh like yours was any quieter,” he retorted. The kids looked between the two of them with confusion written across their faces. They had never seen Billy act this way with anyone. She smiled over at him as she herded the kids toward the door. Billy grabbed the door handle before she could and held it open for her. Max gave the guys a bewildered look before sitting down at a table for four. Mike pulled an extra chair up to the table so the could all sit down. Billy and (Y/n) made themselves comfortable in a booth a little ways away from the kids.

“Today was fun,” she stated as she looked over her menu. Billy looked over his menu at her before he replied.

“Yeah, it was. Thank you,” he said. He wasn’t entirely sure what he was thanking her for but he felt the need to say it. (Y/n) put her menu down in front of her and looked at him.

“Hey Billy can I ask you something?” she questioned, lacing her fingers together in front of her. Billy eyed her over his menu, trying to figure out what she wanted to ask.

“Sure,” he replied cautiously. She seemed to be gathering her thoughts before speaking. This left Billy a little on edge.

“I don’t mean to pry,” she started. Billy furrowed his brows at this, it couldn’t be good. “But this morning when I asked what happened you seemed really in edge. I know you said you didn’t want to talk about it but I just need to know you’re okay. You don’t have to go into detail if you don’t want to because I know opening up to someone you barely know can be really strange. I just need to make sure everything will be okay, that you’ll be okay. You know?” she said. The longer she talked the more nervous she got. Billy was studying her as she spoke. He couldn’t detect anything that showed she wanted to hurt him. If anything, she looked scared. And by some strange miracle, Billy found himself wanting to open up to her.

“It wasn’t Tommy that did this,” Billy said slowly. He took a deep breath before continuing. “My dad and I got into it. He was mad because I was a little late getting home and he was drunk so it wasn’t necessarily a very good night. But I’m okay, I promise. Everything is okay,” Billy said, he started tearing up about halfway through his explination. He had never told anyone about what horrors he faced at home, and while he didn’t tell (Y/n) everything it was clear that she understood what he was saying.

“Billy, if you ever need to talk about this or you need a place to go I want you to know that my door is always open. Okay? I don’t care what time it is or what I’m doing, if you need someone to lean on I’m here for you. I promise,” she said, looking Billy straight in the eyes. It hurt her heart to know that his own father had caused his injuries. She was going to say more but the waitress walked up to their table before she could.

“Hey there (Y/n), what can I get the two of you tonight?” Cassie asked, pulling a pen and a pad of paper from her apron. (Y/n) looked from her to Billy to see that his expression had gone from broken and vulnerable to stoic in less than a minute.

“I think I’ll take the usual. Hawkins Classic, fries, and chocolate shake. Billy?” she replied, handing the menu to Cassie. Billy closed his menu and handed it over as well.

“I’ll take the same,” he said simply and Cassie wrote it down.

“Two Classics coming right up,” Cassie said and smiled as she walked away.

“You like the Classic?” she asked Billy, trying to lighten the mood. Billy gave her a small smile.

“You’re the tour guide tonight, if you like it it’s bound to be good. You said their burgers were kick-ass anyway right?” he replied. (Y/n) smiled and rolled her eyes. She liked this side of Billy.

• • •

The two teens made light conversation over their meal. (Y/n) kept an eye on their group of kids since they were directly in her line of sight and Dustin kept glaring at the back of Billy’s head. She rolled her eyes at this childish behavior.

“My brother is glaring at you,” she stated as she popped a fry in her mouth. Billy raised an eyebrow and glanced over his shoulder. Dustin realized that he had been caught and looked absolutely horrified. He whipped his head around so fast he was scared that he may have given himself whiplash.

“Not anymore,” Billy stated matter-of-factly as he took another bite of his burger. “This is so good.” (Y/n) laughed at his comment.

“I told you. Best burgers in Hawkins,” she replied, picking up her shake and taking a sip. Billy chuckled once she put it down. Not knowing what he was laughing at, (Y/n) furrowed her brows together.

“What’s so funny?” she asked, laughing with him. God his laugh was contagious. Billy caught his breath before answering.

“You got a little something there Henderson,” Billy said, motioning to his own mouth. (Y/n)’s cheeks grew pink in embarrassment as she hastily wiped at her face with her napkin. Billy grinned when she put her napkin down and looked at him.

“Is it gone?” she asked. Billy shook his head a little before pulling on the sleeve of his shirt.

“C'mere,” he said, beckoning the girl towards him. She leaned over slightly and Billy wiped the last of the whipped cream off of her face with his shirt. “There, it’s gone.”

“Thanks,” she said shyly, looking back down at her almost empty plate. Billy nodded and picked up his own shake before drinking half if it in one go. (Y/n)’s eyes widened. “If you aren’t careful you’re gonna give yourself a brain freeze,” she laughed. Billy shrugged and continued eating his food.

After finishing their meals, the group of kids and their two chaperones made their way out of the small diner and back to their cars. Hunter let the boys climb in before she moved her seat back where it was supposed to be.

“Hey (Y/n),” Billy said from his door. That was the first time he’d called her by her first name that night. “What are you doing tomorrow?” She looked at him with raised brows. She was honestly a little shocked that he had asked.

“Nothing that I know of, since it’s Saturday and all. Why?” she replied. Billy fiddled with his hands a little before answering.

“There’s this music festival going on all day tomorrow a few towns over from here. You wanna go?” He posed his question carefully. He didn’t want to make it sound like a date and scare her off. (Y/n) smiled at him and considered his offer.

“I’d love to Billy. That sounds amazing,” she replied. Billy smiled confidently and nodded.

“I’ll pick you up at noon tomorrow. Be ready,” he said before lowering himself into his car and shutting his door. (Y/n) did the same and smiled to herself like an idiot. Dustin and the rest of the boys gave her a incredulous look as she started her car up.

The first thing she did after she got home was get all the boys blankets and pillows to sleep with. After she was confident that her troop of children would be okay for the night, she grabbed the phone in her room and laid on her bed. She dialed the number she knew so well and waited for someone to pick up.

“Hello?” a tired voice on the other end of the line answered.

“Jonathan, I think I just scored a date with Billy Hargrove.”

Awww how cute

Into you | Billy Hargrove

Billy Hargrove x Byers!Reader

summary; max notices that something’s off with billy

a/n; i know he was an asshole (before sthree) but he’s so cute :(

Into You | Billy Hargrove

You and Billy were kind of friends, much to the distain of everyone else you associated with.

You tried your best not to judge people based on other people’s feelings about them— Billy may have seemed like an asshole, but you were sure there was more to it. So you tried talking to him.

At first he was aloof, the conversation never really going farther them him flirting with you. Eventually it extended to talking about your day, and then your likes and dislikes. Within a few weeks you were having full blown conversations about nothing and everything.

You were pretty sure you were the only one that Billy actually talked to. He seemed shallow and nobody had really tried to dig any deeper.

Steve had warned you to stay away, but you decided that a friendship with the boy was harmless. He had never done anything to you and you actually enjoyed spending the time with him. Billy Hargrove was good company and damn fun to look at.

It took awhile for Max to even notice. Billy had gone from locking himself in his room everyday to actually offering to give the girl rides when she wanted to see her friends. In hindsight Max realized that she should’ve been sceptical. Billy never would’ve done that unless he directly benefited from it.

It was a trip to the mall that made the red head realize what was actually going on.

When the duo arrived, Billy surprisingly jumped out of the car behind Max, being quick to lock the doors and enter the mall. Immediately Max spotted Lucas and El, running over to her friends and greeting them with hugs.

Billy took his time looking around the large area. Max watched her brother from a far with furrowed brows. “He’s been acting so weird lately,” she told her friends in a hushed voice, “—he volunteered to drive me today. I don’t know what’s gotten into him.”

Dustin snorted from his spot beside Will, the entire party now watching Billy as he began sauntering off to a table not too far from were they stood. “I’ll tell you what’s gotten into the douchebag. He’s in love with Y/N.”

The group shifted their attention to Dustin, each with varying expressions of disbelief. There was no way Billy Hargrove was in love with anyone other then his own reflection.

Max scoffed, arms crossed over her chest, “Yeah, right. All he does is entertain girls. You really expect me to believe he’s in love?”

Dustin nodded smugly, “When’s the last time he had a girl over?”

“Well,” Max paused to think. She quickly realized that it had to have been at least a month. “I don’t remember.” She whispered, her eyes widening.

“Exactly. It’s because he’s obsessed with Y/N.”

“He is always staring at her. I just thought he was looking at her ass,” Mike shrugged, wincing when Eleven elbowed his side.

“Gross,” Will gagged, “—that’s my sister.”

“It’s not our fault Billy wants a piece,” Lucas smirked. This time it was Max’s turn to elbow her boyfriend.

“He’s talking to her right now.”

The group moved quietly in the direction that the two of you sat chatting, trying to stay as non conspicuous as possible.

Meanwhile you were grinning at something Billy had said, the curly haired boy sitting in front of you with a smile of his own.

“You uh- got a little something,” Billy smirked, gestering at your lip. It had to have been chocolate from the cookie you were eating.

Your cheeks flamed bright pink as you tried to wipe it away with a napkin, embarrassment blooming in your chest.

Billy only shook his head, swiping his thumb across your bottom lip and taking the chocolate into his own mouth. Now you were blushing for a different reason.

“T-thank you,” you stuttered out, taking a sip from your water.

Billy only winked, the pair of you having what felt like a staring contest.

The two of you were interrupted by a pile of kids falling down in front of your table. Dustin was the first one to jump up, brushing himself off as the rest of the party followed.

They all looked equal parts sheepish at being caught and mad at Dustin for knocking them down.

You glared at the kids with arms crossed over your chest, “Can I help you nerds?” You questioned, looking over all of them.

It was obvious they had been trying to spy on you and Billy. Surprisingly, the boy just watched with a bored expression, deciding to let you handle them.

“We were just in the neighborhood,” Max piped up, rocking on the heels of her feet, “—decided to say hello.”

“Is that so?” Billy finally questioned, leaning over on his arm.

The kids all nodded.

“Looked like you were hiding to me, what do you think, Billy?”

“I don’t know, Y/N. Maybe they just decided to drop in,” Billy snickered.

You couldn’t help but to laugh at his ridiculous pun, rolling your eyes at the boy. “Shut up.”

Lucas groaned, rolling his eyes. The rest of the party looked over at the boy with wide eyes, making varying faces that all pretty much added up to the same ‘why?!’ expression.

“Is there a problem, Lucas?” You questioned with narrow eyes, looking your brother’s friend up and down.

As much as the party loved you for being way cooler then Jonathan, they also feared you slightly.

Billy watched you with a smirk. God was he happy to be in your good graces.

“Oh it’s nothing,” Lucas shook his head, “—I just can’t believe Dustin was right.”

You could hear Max mumble a quiet, “Oh God,” under her breath. You had a feeling they would be breaking up for the eighth time.

“Do you have something you’d like to share with the class, Dustin?”

“Other then Lucas being a complete piece of shit? Not really,” Dustin replied, glaring at Lucas.

You watched the group with a bored expression, waiting for someone to speak up.

“I just didn’t know Dustin was right,” Lucas finally piped up, shrugging nonchalantly, “—that you two were up each other’s asses.”

“That is not what I said!” Dustin yelled, watching as your face morphed into one of pure horror.

“You’re so dead,” you threatened, standing up from your chair with cherry red cheeks.

Max backed away from her boyfriend, moving to stand besidr El. The rest of the party watched with wide eyes, waiting for you to pounce on the boy. He was barely an inch shorter then you so you couldn’t bring yourself to feel bad.

“Hey,” Billy interrupted, grabbing your hand.

You turned to look at the blonde boy, your eyes still blazing. His, on the other hand, were soft as he pulled you back down into your seat, “—breathe.”

“Scram,” Billy instructed the party, “—I don’t know how much longer I can hold her off for.”

They didn’t have to be told twice. The entire group took off into a sprint in the direction of Scoops Ahoy. Probably to hode behind Steve incase you decided that you still wanted your revenge.

Billy wrapped an arm around your chair, turning to look at you with a smile.

“They aren’t wrong you know,” he shrugged cooly, “—I am definitely into you.”

“How sweet,” you grinned, rolling your eyes. “I’m into you too.”

The Arcade Queen Pt. 2 (Billy Hargrove X Reader)

It didn’t take me too long to think of a whole bunch of ideas for this series, and this was the one I thought was fitting for the 2nd part! I promise as this continues there is going to be more involvement with Billy!

Also a note; If you didn’t already guess, this is set a little ways into Season 2.

Summary: A few days after your first encounter with Billy Hargrove, Max asks you to help him out, together the two of you successfully break your car, nearly wake the neighbors and you manage to break down a couple of Billy’s emotional walls.

Part 1

The Arcade Queen Pt. 2 (Billy Hargrove X Reader)

The next couple of nights you had off from the Arcade. It gave you a chance to catch up on homework, spend some time with your family, and dream about a certain Camaro driving boy.

But time flies especially when your busy daydreaming, and soon enough it was time for your next shift at The Palace. Unfortunately, it was another late closing shift. Packing your bag once more with perfume in case of emergencies, you grabbed a jacket and drove off to work.

The night had gone by quick, with you spending most of the time in the back taking inventory and unpacking new prizes, leaving Keith to work the front of the arcade. Roughly half an hour to the end of your shift, Keith popped his head into the back asking you to come out to the front.

You finished putting the empty boxes by the recycling bins and stepped out into the front.

“What do you need?” You asked walking over to your co-worker standing behind the counter.

“Little Red is out on the bench looking for you,” Keith replied.

Out into the chill of the Hawkins air, you felt a sense of déjà vu, you walked around the corner of The Palace, finding a certain red-haired girl sitting on the bench.

“Max? What are you doing here?” You called out to her, moving to sit beside the younger girl. You noticed the small shakes of her shoulders, and how her hair was currently hiding her face away from your view, but you knew none-the-less the girl was clearly upset.

“Hey, it’s okay…” You said softly, wrapping an arm around her. Max gave a soft hiccup before her shoulders began to shake harder. “You can talk to me, you know that right?”

You saw her head give a small nod, but you didn’t press further, waiting for her to open up to you, not wanting to push her away more.

“I got Billy in trouble.” She finally spoke, her voice wavering as she sucked some air in between silent sobs.

“Big trouble,” She quickly added, “I’ve never seen his dad so mad at him…ever!”

“Okay, alright…and then what?” You asked, urging her to keep going.

“His Dad and him got in a fight…a big fight, he hurt Billy and then he left, dad did, And Billy was really upset, and he left and drove off, and I panicked…” Max looked at you finally, her eyes leaking tears, red and puffy. “He shouldn’t be driving, I mean he’s really upset…so I ran off and I didn’t know where to go or who to go to and I figured that you would be here, so I came here.”

It was a lot to process at once, let alone for Max to experience it, but you sat quietly piecing her story together slowly in your mind once more.

“Okay, it’s alright.” You said, rubbing her back, “No more tears.”

“So, your dad hurt Billy,” You started, seeing her nod quickly, “Okay and then they both left, and now Billy’s out driving around Hawkins?”

“Yes!” Max said.

“Okay, what about your mom Max? Where’s she?” You asked.

“Out of town, she went to visit a friend for the week, I thought that his dad wouldn’t get mad if he had to watch out for me, but it’s never been this bad! I’m worried about him!” Max said, fresh tears beginning to well in her eyes.

You took a deep breath, letting it out slowly as you thought about the next steps in your head, you would have to take care of Max until you found Billy, and even then, you were positively sure you weren’t going to let either of them go back home tonight, not after what Max had shared with you…so the only thing to do next…

“Alright Max, we’ll go look for Billy, together…that sound good?” You gave the girl a reassuring smile, watching her expression change to relief.

You grabbed your bag and keys from The Palace, and after bargaining that you would clean the arcade for your next week’s worth of shifts, you left work early, entrusting Keith to lock up for the night.

And here you were, about an hour later driving around Hawkins, looking for any sign of Billy Hargrove or his Camaro. You had already driven by their house twice, in case he had returned, along with some frequent party locations, now you were just skimming some of the lesser roads of Hawkins.

Max had stopped crying but had been silent since the two of you had begun your search for her step-brother.

“So…this happens often?” You asked, breaking the silence, “With your dad and Billy?”

The girl in the passenger seat gave a small nod.

“And, does he always…hurt Billy?” You questioned.

Another nod.

You made a left turn, turning down a road lined with houses lined up on either side.

“Hey, he doesn’t…” You trailed off, not wanting to even ask this question.

“No. He’s never hurt me.” She answered, clearly understanding the nature of your question.

You both lapsed into another period of silence, checking out the driveways and anybody walking on the sidewalks as you made another turn, right this time.

However, shortly after your turn, your car gave a weird little sputter, a sharp little cough, and a horrible shake before ultimately shutting itself off leaving you to ease it over to the side of the road before it stopped entirely.

“That’s not supposed to happen.” Max chimed in from the passenger seat. You, on the other hand, let out a long groan at the timing of the entire situation.

You attempted to turn the key once more, hearing it turn over a few times before giving another sputter, this time a little steam rising up from under the hood.

You and Max got out together, her standing back a couple feet away from you as you lifted the hood up, waving your hand through the white steam flowing up from your engine.

“Yup. It’s dead.” You surmised. Max moved up next to you.

“What’s wrong with it?” She asked. You gave a sarcastic shrug of your shoulders.

“Your guess is good as mine kiddo. I’m not a mechanic. I use the equipment, I don’t fix the equipment.” You replied, shutting the hood down and leaning your back against it.

“So now what?” Max asked, moving once more to lean against the hood with you.

“No clue.” You said, raising your wrist to look at your watch. “It’s a little past midnight, and I don’t think that anybody around is going to be very cooperative helping out two kids in the middle of the night. How far away is your house.”

It took Max a minute to retrace the last route you had taken from her house.

“Probably 20 minutes driving. We’re practically on the other side of town from my house” She replied. “What about you?”

“Couple of blocks from the last corner we took” You replied. “Guess you’re staying over at my place tonight.”

Thus, the two of you began your walk of shame, you giving your jacket to Max who once again had left her’s behind.

“I hope Billy’s okay.” Max said, “He’s so…mean but he said something the other day and it just kind of stuck. We might not like it, but we’re family…I don’t want to see him hurt.”

“I know Kiddo.” You said, not finding the right words to admit your own guilt in not being able to help him.

It felt like an hour had past when you finally made it to your house and had shoved your key into the door when the two of you heard the familiar purr of a certain Camaro coming up the road.

Max and you looked to each other, and then to the road before you both made a mad dash to the sidewalk for Max, and you not even thinking twice into the road.

Headlight’s danced in your eyes, as you heard Billy’s brakes squeal into the night, the two of you screaming for him to stop, not caring about the late hour or your neighbor’s sleeping.

Your hand touched the hood of his Camero as you and Max made your way to the driver’s side.

“Billy thank god!” You cried out, “We’ve been looking for you all night.”

Billy, on the other hand, had a mixed look of confusion, anger, and fear as he looked between you and Max, his cheek had a hint of discoloring on it in the dark, and you knew in the light it would be quite a shiner. His lip was also split, dried blood caked to it and trail of blood that had flowed down his chin.

                                                       ***

It took some convincing, but you had managed to get Billy to pull into your driveway, and you and Max had told him everything that had happened, from Max running to finding you, your car breaking down.

You set Max up in your guest bedroom finding some of your old pajama’s and closing the door behind you as you said goodnight to her, before you returned to Billy, grabbing a clean towel and some ice.

Now the two of you sat in silence upon your sofa, him staring anywheres except you, while you gently wiped down the blood and patched him up, holding an icepack to his cheek.

“I’m sorry.” You whispered, Billy, wincing as you wiped away more dried blood.

He stayed silent.

“You know if you ever need to talk-”

“Talk!?” He suddenly exclaimed, making you jump at the loud tone. “You want me to talk to you about my daddy issues?”

“Billy, that’s not what I meant-” You tried to cut in, but your words had already ignited the fire within.

“You want me to tell you about everything…about how much I hate this stupid town, and how much I hate my old man for having me be the personal babysitter for a 13-year-old, who should be able to go out and do what she wants instead of being stuck with a piece of shit like me? How about the fact, that I’ve tried to hide for so long so that no one would ever see or know what happened with me and my father!” Billy slammed a hand down upon the coffee table in front of you as he stood, making you jump again.

“Billy-” You started, but he cut you off once more. His mouth opened once, before it shut itself, wordless as you saw a tear slip out from his eye as he turned away.

You had no words to say, so you stood up and lightly slipped your arms around his waist, hugging him softly from behind. One of his hands rose up to lay over yours, and you could feel him shaking.

“Billy. I don’t know what any of that is like, to have your father roughing you up all the time…but you can’t say that about yourself, your probably the only thing standing in between your father and Max, your protecting her…and it’s not fair that your getting hurt, but your doing it for her…” You laid your cheek upon his back, as you felt him take in shuddering breaths.

“I just want her safe. And I’ve spent all this time pushing her away because I’m afraid that I’ll act just like my dad, but the entire time the only person I have acted like is my dad. I can’t fix this, Y/N.” Billy spoke, his voice laced with honesty.

“It’s never too late to fix your relationship with your sister Billy. She was so worried about you tonight, she was a wreck, it doesn’t matter what you’ve done, what matters now is what you can do to be better.” You said.

“And if you ever need a place to stay, my door will always be open for you. Both of you, I can help you, but you have to let me help.” You said as Billy turned around looking down at you.

He gave a small nod, and you gave him a warm smile.

“Good, now help me with the pull-out, Max gets the bed tonight for you worrying her all night.” You teased.

Together, the two of you set up the pull out bed on the couch and you brought down some pillows and blankets.

“Thanks, Y/N.” Billy said, taking a seat on the edge of the makeshift bed, you taking a place next to him

“Anytime. Seriously Hargrove, now get some rest, your driving us to school in the morning since my car died looking for you.” You teased, bumping his shoulder playfully. He gave you a cheesy smile in return, and you couldn’t help but thank that it was the most beautiful thing you’d ever see in your life.

The two of you stared into each other’s eyes, and you could feel your cheeks flush under his gaze.

Feeling your heart pound just like the moment you shoved your phone number into his pocket, you leaned in close and pressed a feather-light kiss to his bruised cheek. As you pulled away, Billy brought a hand up to cup your cheek, with the softest touch, he guided you back, your lips meeting his, before letting you slip away.

If your cheeks were red before, your face was probably a tomato now, and you quickly stood, bouncing a couple of steps away from him before giving him a shy smile.

“Goodnight Billy,” You whispered.

“Goodnight, Y/N” He replied, his eyes following you as you practically skipped in joy to your room, shutting the door behind you. You raised your fingers to your lips and realized that you were, utterly and undeniably in love with Billy Hargrove.

YES!!!! I would love more

The Arcade Queen (Billy Hargrove X Reader)

Welp. I fell really hard into Stranger Things, and it resulted in this little fic. Bear with me as I normally don’t write things like this. This is meant to be a Billy Hargrove X Reader, and I might make it into a mini-series if anyone wants me to continue it, this is more like a small drabble and an attempt at writing for Stranger Things. In this fic, the reader is still in school but is the assistant manager for The Palace, the arcade.

Extra: After finishing this I am so sorry for the atrocity you’re about to read.

Summary: Being the assistant Arcade Manager means you have a lot of responsibilities; repairs, cleaning, and closing for the night. However, on this night, you have a small encounter with Billy Hargrove

image

Working at the Palace Arcade had its perks, especially working as the assistant manager. For the most part, you could stay behind the scenes working on paperwork and expenses, ordering in new prizes.

The downside was when your co-worker couldn’t make it in for their closing shift. For 2 hours tonight you had been in charge of anything, from malfunctioning machines to trading in prizes and anything in between, all the while trying to clean up so that you could get out of work shortly after the arcade closed for the night.

Ten minutes to 11:00 you began your warnings to the few remaining players lingering around, trying their hardest to beat previous scores and earn their places. For the most part, people heeded your warnings, finishing the games they departed, hearts filled with sorrows at another failed chance of beating their rivals.

5 minutes to 11:00 and the only people left in the arcade were your regulars, Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will along with the newcomer, Max.

“You guys have until the bathrooms are cleaned, to finish your games, and go home for the night!” You called to them, hearing them give cheers knowing full well that it would take another 15 minutes.

As you worked on the bathrooms, you could hear excited shouts from the small group you had left in the main part of the arcade, one of them was going above and beyond and by the sounds of it about to beat another high score.

When you finally finished cleaning and returned to the front of the arcade, you were greeted by fanfare and you smiled at the kids standing proudly in front of you.

“Alright, I’ll bite. Who was it this time?” You asked, referring to the happy faces in front of you.

Max shyly cleared her throat.

Despite seeing how confident the girl was in front of her friends, and in front of others…and witnessing the fights she had with her brother both at school and when she was dropped off at the arcade, the girl seemed to shut herself up into a little bundle of nerves when speaking to you.

“Well, congrats for that Max.” You praised the young girl, “We’ll have to think about finding some sort of championship arcade event for you to compete in.”

The boys instantly started echoing your statement, and as you ushered them out the door, you could hear their voices fade away into the night, all of them on their way home.

As you finished your last-minute chores before you too locked up and went home for the night, you heard scuffling from outside.

The events from the past year and the disappearances of Will and Barb had put many on edge, and despite Will being back and the police announcing that there was no reason to worry any longer, you still carried some stuff in your bag just in case of emergencies.

So here you were, all by you’re lonesome, tiptoeing around to look beside the arcade, perfume in one hand and a broom in the other. Right as you went to turn the corner, you heard more scuffling and shifting.

You leapt around the corner, letting out a loud shout as you waved the broom handle and sprayed perfume.

As you opened your eyes, you saw Max, wide-eyed and standing a few feet away from where your broom handle had been whipped around.

“Max!?” You shouted, dropping the broom.

“Uh…hey Y/N.” Max greeted with a shy, nervous wave. Resting a hand over your racing heart you gave a loud sigh.

“God, you gave me a heart attack! What are you still doing here?” You exclaimed, your racing heart calming.

“Uh…no reason, just hanging around!” Max said. “What were you er…doing with the broom…and…?”

She pointed to the perfume bottle clasped tightly in your hand.

“Do you have to clean the parking lot too?” She jested.

“Very funny Maxine.” You teased, picking up the broom handle, “And no. I thought that instead of a kid ‘just hanging around’ That someone or something else might be lingering around. So the perfume was meant to be for whatever was here…thankfully it didn’t get into your eyes.”

“Eyes?” She questioned.

“Yeah? If you were actually in trouble you could spray it into your attackers’ eyes, and it would blind them for a moment, so then you can-”

“Beat them with a broom.” Max finished.

“Well. In this case yes…but your just a kid, so you shouldn’t have to worry about any of that stuff.” You said softly, “But…it still doesn’t explain what you’re still doing here at…11:20. Arcades closed, you all got extra time too.”

Max stood in front of you, her arms crossed and face turned away from you.

“Waiting.” She finally said, however, she said it so quickly you almost missed it.

“Waiting.” You echoed. “For who?”

“My brother,” Max said quickly again.

Seeing that she clearly didn’t want to talk about it, and also seeing that she was without a sweatshirt, and even with one you were shivering from the cold Hawkins air, you finally decided that any chance of you going home early tonight would have to wait.

“Alright, well you can wait for him inside instead of wandering around out here by your self.”

“What?” She said, face snapping to yours, “I thought the arcade was closed.”

“Well I forgot that I had some paperwork to finish and my boss would lose it if I didn’t, so you mise well wait inside with me.”

The two of you made your way back inside and you grabbed some paperwork you had originally left for your next shift from the back.

Max stood with her hands in her pockets, standing by the door, watching as every car, albeit few, passed by the arcade.

“So. Your brother this late all the time?” You spoke to Max.

“Never.” She said softly.

You picked your head up, looking to the younger girl.

“Well, that’s nice…at least not tonight…but it’s awfully nice of Billy to drive you around.” You said, thinking about her older brother. He was in your grade, but the two of you hadn’t really talked, not having any periods together in school.

Max stayed quiet.

“Well, you know I could give you a ride if you want? I don’t mind if you don’t want to keep waiting.”

“I have to wait,” Max said quietly. “Billy will get in trouble if he doesn’t bring me home.”

“Well…alright.” You replied, going back to the paperwork. “Got any quarters left?”

“Huh?”

“I’m just saying if you got any quarters left, you can play a couple rounds of whatever you like. I can keep an eye on the door.”

It took Max a minute, but a little while after your final statement, she wandered away and you heard the familiar noise of a quarter slipping into a machine, and the game come alive.

You kept an eye on the clock, not willing to be here past midnight, you decided that you would just take her home, either way, a little before midnight.

A little after 11:45 you heard the purr of Billy’s Camaro roar into the parking lot. You looked up, seeing Max had once again immersed herself in a game her back turned to you, and she clearly hadn’t heard her brother pull in.

You set your pen down and walked to the door, opening it and taking a step outside, seeing Billy running his hands through his hair as he stepped out, turning every which way clearly searching for his sister.

“Hey, Hargrove.” You called out, hoping to give him a jump, however, he turned around always playing it cool.

“Y/N Right?” He said. “I’m looking for…”

“Max. I know she’s in here finishing up a game…why don’t you come in?” You said, holding the door open. Billy stood by his car for a second, clearly thinking about what you said, and you half expected him to just walk in and drag his sister out, however, he threw out his cigarette and came up to you, stepping into the arcade.

“Don’t worry Hargrove, I won’t tell anyone that you’re hanging around in the arcade.” You teased as you followed behind him. You heard him give a small chuckle in front of you.

“It’s Y/N. Right?” He said, turning around.

“Wow. So Billy Hargrove does know my name.” You laughed, making your way back to the counter to grab the sheets of paper and tuck them in the manager’s office. However, seeing a scrap piece of paper on the desk you grabbed a pen scrawling something quickly and tucking it into your pocket.

Coming back you saw Billy leaning against the counter, his eyes on Max who somehow still hadn’t realized her brother was here.

“She’s a good kid you know.” You said, leaning next to Billy, “And a great gamer. You should find her some sort of championship or something to compete in.”

“Shes a little shit,” Billy said, but the usual angry and rough tone wasn’t with the statement, it sounded lost and distant, a whisper in the woods.

“Well. If you ever need any help with her or need me to give her a ride, I won’t mind. I know she was worried about it when I asked her about it…said you’d get in trouble, but really. If you need anything…I’m typically here” You gestured.

Just as you finished your minor speech, you heard the familiar chimes of ‘Game Over’ with a combined happy shout.

“Hey Y/N! I did it again, I just beat this record!” Max exclaimed, her happy face turning upside down when she caught sight of her brother.

“Billy.” She gulped.

“Alright, little shit. Get in the car.” Billy said. Max wasted no time, giving you a small thank you and departed the arcade.

“Thanks, for watching over her while I was late,” Billy said turning around to leave, and you had a silly grin on your face, hearing the Hargrove give you a genuine thank you.

“Anytime.” You replied. Your heart raced, but you hesitantly called out to Billy once more, his face turning.

You bounded up to him and slipped the paper into his pocket.

“My number, just in case you ever need someone to get Max.” You said.

Billy tucked the paper further into his pocket, in order for it to not slip away and he gave you a cheesy smile.

“Do I have to just use it for Max?” He asked, his voice dropping lower, growing huskier, and your heart was practically visible as it beat out of your chest.

“No, if you ever need me I’ll be there too.” You whispered. Billy’s smile grew larger, and he took your hand in his own, raising it up to his lips to press a kiss to it.

“Good to know, darling.” He chuckled, and like the wind, he slipped out the door, with a soft goodnight.

You stood frozen, shell shocked, heart, beating way too fast to be considered healthy as you heard and saw the Camaro pull away and drive off into the night.

Backing up, you slipped down sitting with your back against the counter, resting your gifted hand over your heart, willing for it to both calm down, yet never stop beating for the handsome Billy Hargrove.

Ahhhhhh I LOVE soft billy

Hi 💖 could you do ‘I fall in love with you every time I open my eyes’ with Billy?? Very fluffy and cheesy. Soft billy makes me weak lol

★Sleepy Confessions

pairing: billy x reader

a/n: soft billy also has me wEAK so here u gO pal

———–

The sound of a lawn mower next door caused you to let out a tired groan as you buried your face deeper into Billy’s sleeping form, his body not moving. You could feel his warm, calloused hand on the bare skin of your back, the shirt you wore to bed ridding up during the night.

You let your eyes flutter open, after mentally debating it for a few minutes, blinking them a few times to get used to the bright room you were in. The curtains you had hung up in your room did nothing to stop the morning sun’s orange glow from seeping in.

Sitting up, you let your gaze linger on Billy. His full lashes casting a shadow onto his cheekbones, your fingers subconsciously moving to trace it. A soft smile tugged on your lips as you let your fingers roam over his features, carefully avoiding the bruises caused by his father.

You felt the hand on your back move, the once idle warmth now rubbing slow, languid circles on your skin.

“‘s to early baby…” Billy whispered out in a hoarse voice, rolling over onto his side to face you better, his eyes still closed. You let out a breathy laugh before laying back down next to him, his arms immediately wrapping around you, pulling you closer.

“I know.” You whispered back, feeling your heart swoon with love for the man in front of you. It was times like this that you wanted to last forever. No one to bother the two of you. No one to ruin the moment. Just peace.

Without thinking, you rested your palm against his cheek, letting your thumb lightly brush over the bruise adorning his cheekbone, a sad smile on your lips. You watched Billy’s face as a smile of his own formed on his sleepy features, it was the smile only reserved for you. You watched with a shy gaze as his eyes finally opened, his blues ones peering into your own.

“You know what…” Billy mumbled as you let out a hum of acknowledgement, “I fall in love with you every time i open my eyes.” Billy grabbed your wrist and softly pulled it away from his cheek, instead moving it to his lips. He pressed a gentle kiss to the palm of your hand before kissing your knuckles.

“You are such a sap Hargrove.” You giggled with a roll of your eyes, your face flushing.

“Only for you gorgeous…”

Not a Chance

image

Summary: Billy Hargrove is not going to fall for you. No way. Not a chance…. right? (Billy Hargrove x reader)

Warning: slight profanity

Word Count: 1,740

He told himself he’d never go after you. As soon as he arrived in this shit town he knew he was not good for you. He’d avoid you at every chance, you’d smile at him when you walked pass him in the hall and he’d quickly look away. You’d offer him a pencil in class and he felt himself blush, he’d later cuss himself out for acting like a dumbass.

He’d watch you from across the room, a beaming smile on your face and a skip in your step. You always looked so optimistic and he’d remind himself of how different you two were. That there was no chance in hell you’d ever get together. He’d avoid you forever and that was that.

Of course, the world was not on his side as he’d arrive to work and find out the new trainee was you, of all the people in the world. He chuckled to himself at the irony and apparent fate bestowed upon him.

You showed up with that same old joyful personality and the manager decides Billy will be the one to train you. It wasn’t a surprise since the manager truly was a lazy piece of shit.

This is sooo sweet

Storm

Billy Hargrove

Prompt: In which Billy says some things he shouldn’t, leading him to apologize to his girlfriend.

Warnings: Little bit of angst, mentions sex briefly

image

The air was thick and damp, complementing the dark grey sky that hung menacingly above. Rusting streetlights flickered on, illuminating every crumbling crack of the sidewalk that crunched beneath your shoes. It was obvious a storm was coming, and you prayed it wouldn’t start raining until you reached your house. Wearing only a thin t-shirt and jeans, each gusting breeze of warning made goosebumps erupt on your arms, your hands rubbing up and down on the skin in a useless attempt to warm them up. Usually, you didn’t have to worry about getting a ride home as your boyfriend, Billy, was your personal chauffeur, but after hearing the countless harsh words that escaped his lips earlier, each targeting insecurities that you hesitantly revealed to him, you couldn’t even imagine being in the same vicinity as him.

The wind started to pick up and you still had a good half hour left before you’d even reach your neighborhood. A sigh of frustration escaped your trembling lips, and for a brief moment you wished you were in Billy’s Camaro, safe from the rain, though you pushed the thought down as memories from earlier surfaced. At the start of your relationship with Billy, your friends said you were foolish - everyone knew Billy wanted one thing and one thing only: hookups. But you reassured them that his intentions were genuine and he wouldn’t have settled down if he still wanted to fool around. Though now you wondered if being with Billy was a mistake. Was it built on one big lie or premise or desire - that being sex? It couldn’t be. Every “I love you” felt too real, too promising. Billy had opened up to you, told you about Neil and his mother and every scar that blemished his skin, so how could it all be a lie? You weren’t sure what to think, and the uncertainty made your stomach churn in fear. If it hadn’t been for the coolness of the air and the motivation to get home, you would’ve thrown up right then and there. You walked for a few more minutes until you heard the rumble of an all-too-familiar engine behind you.

Not wanting to reveal you were aware of Billy’s presence, you looked down at the sidewalk, suddenly interested in each pebble and piece of chewed up gum imprinted into the cement. The hum of what sounded like the passenger window rolling down buzzed through the air, making you cringe. “Y/N,” Billy rasped, his tone sounding different than the usual confident one. You ignored the call, pretending that the sudden roll of thunder overpowered his plea. “Y/N, I know you can hear me. Please get in the car.” With the slight shake of your head, Billy knew it was pointless to beg - you were stubborn, and that was just one of the many reasons he adored you. You flinched at the sound of his door opening and closing, followed by heavy footsteps that were right behind you. For a moment, you thought he’d follow you the rest of the way home, each second his feet crunched on the sidewalk feeling like an eternity, until he weaved around you. Billy’s left hand rested on your shoulder while the other hooked beneath your chin so you’d meet his gaze. Then, the rain started. A small droplet plopped onto your arm, others haphazardly falling wherever they could. “I’m so sorry, baby, I really am. I didn’t mean anything I said earlier, you know that.” Billy’s eyes were soft, but you could see beyond that there was a storm brewing, much like the one you stood amidst. His words made your bottom lip quiver, and you attempted to turn away so he couldn’t see you cry.

“Baby…” Billy mumbled, following you. A few tears had slipped out, though you weren’t sure if he would be able to notice through the rain. He did. Billy wrapped his arms around your trembling figure, feeling his heart ache as a sob wracked your body. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, babygirl.” He repeated over and over, feeling overwhelmed in the guilt that swarmed over him. “Let’s go in the car, yeah?” He asked softly, picking you up once you nodded in approval. Billy sat in the driver’s seat with you straddling his lap, still crying into his chest. Though he was freaking out on the inside, unsure of what to say or do to help you, he remained calm, smoothing your hair down as he pressed a kiss to the top of your head. A few minutes had passed by and your sobs had finally resided, evolving to small sniffles and tear-stained cheeks, rosy with exertion. Billy felt relieved, having thought that you would never stop crying, as crazy as it sounded.

“I can’t tell you enough how sorry I am. You know how beautiful I think you are, baby. You’re the most beautiful girl in Hawkins - hell in the whole world, for that matter. I chose you, and only you. You’re my girl and I love you.” Though his words were cheesy, he knew it was what you needed to hear to settle your doubtful thoughts and anxiety. You sniffed your final sniffle and sat up, wiping away any remaining tears from your cheeks. Billy smiled softly at the sight, rubbing his hands up and down your back. “I forgive you. I’m sorry for overreacting, I was just scared that you really thought those things.” You pressed a short kiss to his lips, laughing as he leaned in for another. He laughed too, pulling you into his chest as he held you tightly. Billy sighed in bliss, muttering, “Never leave me.” You smiled, looking up at him. “I could never.”
