I'm trying to teach myself how to draw detlaff, who i find very difficult to 'get right', and while i was leaving my comfortzone, i thought, "why not go all the way and add colour?".
It probably doesn't look like much in this vast sea of fanart, but for me it is quite an improvement. :) colouring things always scares me terribly - almost as much as uploading!
And, for some reason, he kind of looks like bela lugosi?

I decided to upload it as is, since I'm completely and hopelessly stuck :'D
It may not be perfect, but that is fine. It's my first digital painting in years, and I'm even sharing it. Even if it gets lost in the current of amazing art out there, it's still a big victory for me. :3
Next time I'll do a few tutorials first though, I guess^^
This is my first attempt at digital art in years, and of course i just blindly dived into it without a plan and now i'm stuck. Should i try some more? Or just tidy it up a bit and upload as is? I don't know what to do. ._.
