What about Bones?

So sometimes I think about AOS vs TOS, and the biggest thing is that in TOS, Mcspirk is basically cannon. You cannot tell me those boys don’t love each other, it makes me crazy.

But in AOS, it’s just Spirk. Don’t get me wrong, I was a Spirk fan waaaaaay before I noticed Mcspirk in TOS, but I try to see the tension between anyone in shows I watch, I Jim and Bones just seemed like brothers. On the surface, this is just interesting, but what about Prime!Spock? (I’m gonna call him Selek)

Because he knew Jim and Leonard since his 30s. In this scenario, he dated them, basically married them. Hell, he’s t’hy’la with one and shared his katra with the other. He knows them. It’s the three of them.

So do you think he gets whiplash sometimes?

I bet he visits Jim and Spock, sometimes, especially after they start dating. And I wonder if one time they’re talking, and Bones walks in, and he’s expecting him to join in. To meld into the pair like his Leonard did. But instead he stands apart, like the friend that he is. I bet it’s heartbreaking, another reminder of what Selek’s lost.

Not only that, but what about Bones?

There’s an animatic somewhere on YouTube of Everything Stays where it compared AOS and TOS, and it pointed out to me that in the Kelvin timeline, there’s no nurse Chapel, and it got me thinking.

Not only do we not see Nurse Chapel, but I don’t remember there being a Doctor M’Benga either. So he has none of his original work friends in the sickbay. Well, he still has Jim and Spock, to an extent.

But what about Joanna?

We hear about Jocelyn in the shuttle, how his wife took the whole damned planet in the divorce, but does that include his daughter? The crew are significantly younger in AOS, does he even have her? Just how lonely is Bones?

I think about Leonard McCoy a lot.

Another more serious note on this week's SNW episode. I KNEW this shit was going to happen when La'an saw Jim. They are going to keep hurting her until she leaves the Enterprise. I mean Jim is going to be captain. I couldn't be there either. As for Blondie and the Adulterer, shame on them both. Spock got his just desserts for cheating on T'Pring and Christine's inevitable pining for him is also her comeuppance. Like HOW are you going to steal another woman's man and then say IF I HAVE TO LEAVE YOU SO BE IT. Like bitch, wtf is wrong with you? You really go through all that just to not take the relationship seriously? TALK to him about this, be like "yeah I'm leaving but I will contact you the whole three months I am there, I will be back soon. I love you" SOMETHING! They are both the most emotionally immature assholes I have ever seen in my life. When they were playing chess and she was deflecting, I FUCKING KNEEEEWW that she was not going to be serious in committing and that this whole "relationship" was going to come crashing down because both are so annoyingly afraid of their own feelings. I just-ARGH!

Uh no, I have been in relationships and NEVER IN MY LIFE have I cheated. Attraction is no excuse for infidelity, LOOKING AT YOU TOO JIM, it is never a MISTAKE!

OMFG, the way I blushed when I heard Spock start singing omg, I thought after him cheating on T'Pring my crush was pretty much over. My heart doing flipflops and the butterflies in my stomach say differently though. Everyone sang so beautifully, and the songs had amazing tunes!

Yooooo Amanda is a milf in this episode, respectfully 🤤 I am so glad Spock is now aware of everything she had to go through for him and for Sarek.

That being said, T'Pring continues to be awesome and wants to be with Spock despite her parents. Her mom is a whole bitch and her dad is a spineless man. If someone talked to MY mother like T'Pril does about Amanda, I would flip my whole shit. Pike's face when T'Pril began roasting Spock had me laughing for 5 minutes straight XD He deserves it though, I have never been more disappointed in him. He really out here cheating on T'Pring with Chapel. Damn. T'Pril is right, he does not deserve T'Pring.

I'm going to get some push back on this, but this episode was very blah. Nobody had any chance to shine, and it felt very rushed. I also thought this was an Ortegas centered episode. She was barely in it, only towards the end. Also, I wish they would stop bringing Batel into episodes, I don't know if it's the writing or the actress, but this character gets on my last nerve when she is on screen. She's so boring and adds nothing. The overall message was ok, but I am not too happy with this one.

reminiscing about SNW hijinks, it's amazing that in real life I am demisexual AF, but when it comes to this crew I would be a massive whore. Would literally bust ass at Starfleet Academy to get onto the Enterprise for d*ck.

My literal first thought when Spock said he was Number One. I don't like this already. Jim Kirk is here, don't care though. Hopefully he doesn't become a central character next season. I still want this to be a Pike show. Onto what is really important, I can't believe Una was convicted :( That's some bigoted bullshit, I wonder who ratted her out (Side note, I know it's your job but Batel you bitch) That one Romulan captain is the GOAT. Goes to show there is always one good one in any species. We hope to see more of you in the future. Scotty!! I heard a Scottish accent. Wait... SPOOOOCCK no, please no I am literally having a panic attack. Ok he's better. That father and son ending between Spock and Pike is adorable. Glad to see Chris come to terms with his future, hopefully. aaaandd of course they fuck it up right at the end. Una baby we got your back. This Pike WILL NOT leave you on that penal colony, or I will have a conniption fit. This episode jerked my emotions all over the place, I cried, screamed, laughed for like half a second and then back to tears. This is Star Trek ladies and gentlemen. Hats off to a perfect first season. Until season 2, LLAP Enterprise crew🖖

Hemmer nooooooooo!!!

RIP to the best damn engineer I have ever seen. Yes even above Scotty, I SAID WHAT SAID, fight me, @ me! Why is everyone leaving me this episode, please understand Enterprise crew that you are all my emotional support starship crew. Why you want to leave me?! Anyways this episode was sad af, Hemmer died, La'an is leaving, 90 crew members lost their lives on the other starship. Damn. Still waiting on glimpse for the final episode and at this point I am afraid to watch it. I don't want this journey of hijinks to end :(

BIG BROTHER IN THE HOUSE!

SYBOK IS HERE, STONN IS HERE, EVERYBODY UP IN THIS BITCH OF MY FUCKING GOOOOODDDDD. I WAS SCREAMING THIS ENTIRE EPISODE. Also, sorry Christine I feel for you, though Spock hesitated for a sec when T'Pring said he could not have feelings for you, have hope (though of course TOS won't allow that). As for T'Pring I am sorry I doubted your devotion to Spock, twice, my bad Vulcan baddie. I am conflicted, both are awesome for Spock in my humble opinion. ANYWAYS, can't wait til next weeks episode, I HAVE to see the full story behind Sybok.

La primera vez que dibujo a Chapel, y es para el cómic. No me ha resultado tan terriblemente difícil como con Kirk (no sé dibujarle), pero cuesta cogerle el punto.

The first time I've drawn Chapel, and it's for the comic. I haven't found it as terribly difficult as Kirk (I don't know how to draw him), but it's hard to get the hang of it.

La he intentado dibujar con los labios pintados (como sale en TOS), y parece que lleva los labios pintados de negro. Después de ver cómo había quedado, tengo que decir que a Mirror Chapel le pegan los labios de color negro 😉

I tried to draw her with painted lips (like in TOS), and it looks like she has black lips. After seeing how it turned out, I have to say that Mirror Chapel looks good with black lips 😉
