COTL AU

I have thought of an AU. Imagine if the lamb didn’t make the Bishops their followers. What if after the fight, the Bishops were sent into a deep sleep and woke up when the humanoid animals went all extinct and now humans roamed the world. They Bishops are now small, weak and almost powerless. They have to slowly regain the power of their crowns before taking over again but then they are all found by humans, some who decide to take them in and take care of them. Well, at least most of them are taken in. Narinder would not let himself be adopted.

AU is basically a ‘What if the Bishops were normal ish animals and had humans to care for them?’ Shamura would be the pet tarantula of a genius yet overly stressed college student. Kallamar be living in an aquarium and one of the workers, a young adult, there cares for him a lot. Narinder is a stray cat that is often aggressive towards people but eventually warms up to one person, a chill schooler. Heket is a fat frog who be treated like queen cause frogs are the best by a rather hyper middle schooler. And Leshy is taken in as a pet by a primary school student.

Who would these characters be? Idk, it’s up for interpretation, it’s an open AU and anyone can use it. Do whatever you want, the humans be placeholders in my eyes until I figure something out but hey, I hope this can be fun for someone! Just imagine having a wise spider, a scared squid, an angy kitty, an even angrier frog and an arrogant worm! It be chaos and I love it!

The Worm

"Leader's younger brother... I have known him for over two centuries, he is still a bit of a mystery, but I know he is a good man.

Usually, he is never seen around the Cult grounds, except for parties and rituals, but since The Lamb's arrival, he has been spending a lot more time besides The Reaper.

Our Great Leader

"Things didn't go smoothly at the beginning. I have to admit, our leader died countless times before we made great progress. But that is what made me admire him, no matter what, he would not give up.

Not on The Lamb, not on us."

"As the decades went by, our leader grew stronger and wiser, the heretics learned to fear The Lamb once again, but most importantly, their Witness. But even then, he always had time to spend with us...

And the crops...

Well... Once a farmer..."

"... I do not recall most of that day... Just that... He begged for more time. 

Time to help his siblings get stronger, to teach them how to use their powers and aid mortals with them and how to survive in the new world.

Then... I recall organizing his journals and finding drawings for new robes. I took no time to begin making them, I just wanted to do something to help him.

I'm not sure if it was in vain... Although he wears it... I have yet to see his smile once again."

"As The Lamb lives among us now, I believe these stories would fit well in a journal or a book of it's own, don't you agree?"

"Still devoted, I see. Worry not, I will ask him for permission, of course. However, you should go now, there's plenty to do at the temple."

I have known him for centuries, but have only seen his "demon form" once, but my memory is good enough for me to make a sketch of what I saw 6 decades ago. I'm afraid we will see it again, now that his Bishop, The Lamb of Life, lives among us. He's unstable. And only Leshy seemed to be able to calm him... Besides the source of the problem themselves...

I'll try to find more about this in the old books... I hope it does not take another decade to find something useful.

Ok, I'm not the type of person that does ships, at max I make some jokes, but the Lamb and Narinder kinda got into my head ever since I started playing the game, AT LAUNCH. Have these first 2 pages for a comic idea I have, I just don't have any reasons do make the rest right now, so... Yeah...

The wolf

This is my take on the GOAT’s god of death the Wolf. they are still an inverse of Narinder in some sense. Where Narinder seeks to challenge his role as god of death and break the laws set before him, Renir fully embraces death, devouring every living thing

Renir does not seek freedom, he simply seeks to feed to sate his unending hunger

also something about dogs that don’t get their nails trimmed end up curling inwards and into their foot, thought that would be a fun detail to add

I've been getting into the Cult of the Lamb Fandom a little bit and decided to make my own Au. I'm calling it "Cult Anchor" for now, but It might change. Anyways, here's the au version of the "Lamb", well, rather the leader of the cult in this Au.

So essentially, in this Au, Kallamar took the fall for Narindar, but Narindar was kinda a jerk about it to Kallamar. After the Prophocy, that one from Kallamar's lands of Anchordeep would liberate him and exact revenge on the other bishops. Slowly, the bishops had the creatures of Anchordeep slain, but one Axolotl managed to meet Kallamar and become the vessel of the Blue crown.

The Axolotl is called Ancor, and their a sweetie pie, unless you cross them.

Idk if anyone has done this before, but I'm definitely enjoying making my au.

Chinese Manhua type AU idea for Cult of the Lamb

I've had these thoughts/ideas in my head for long and I want to make an AU where the characters from Cult of the Lamb are in theme of Chinese Anime art style (Examples are like: MDZS, TGCF, SVSS(?))

AND LIKE I AM STILL UNDER DESIGNING THEIR LOOKS AS PRETTY ANIME CHINESE GUYS WITH LONG HAIR (Except for Heket, the fox and Lamb LOL, Imma make them a woman)

And also researching about Chinese myths and other things-aaaaaahhh

Plot is relatively still there but a lot of tweaking and changes. Yes the incident where Narinder injures and give them semi-permanent Wounds (that Ofcourse can be healed too) will still be there.

Yes the Lamb is still relevant into helping Narinder get revenge and return to his power.

Instead of Narinder being imprisoned, he was sealed away in fear from his siblings that he will spread Darkness and Evil throughout the mortal world. When he finds out that his beloved was missing that he could no longer sense her soul but her spirit is still lingering around the mortal world, and his disciples (Aym and Baal) also went missing. His three beloved family gone when he was in the underworld for training and preparing himself to be the next Grandmaster in helping Shamura, in ruling the realm of mortals, his clan, since he doesn't have any.

AAAAHHHH I CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS AU... AND THE NAME IS GOING TO BE:

10: Did Narinder take any lovers before his exile?

I don't necessarily think he would have, he was more than likely too caught up in the prospect of further expanding his domain to involve himself in such affairs. (Also demiromantic rep >:] )

28: Did he feel doomed by the prophecy? Relieved? Offended? Vindicated?

Okay so I may be dumb and not quite sure which prophecy this is referring to, so! Multiple answers! If none of these are what the prophecy the question is referring to, then let me know and I'll be happy to answer that!!

He didn't quite find out until the whole fight, so he was quite blindsided by it -

I'm going to be so for real, girl thought that him being imprisoned meant that his role in this prophecy had been fulfilled, but little did he know that he did not already fulfil it!

He was definitely relieved and mixed with self righteousness that he would be freed and his vengeance would happen.

Oh my fucking god I spent well over twelve hours on this!!! This is straight up the longest I've ever spent on a drawing, that's crazy, but the fucking things I do for these guys man

I have such a very specific idea in mind for the context of this, that I'm really fucking excited to write about because I am considering writing for tsoc (I'd love to animate it, but that would take me forever)

So for now, the context is locked away in my brain until the brain worms let me write or I need to ramble about it

Rayne doesn't exactly remember their birthday, so much time has passed, that they can't seem to remember when they were born. They just remember it being around the season where northern lights come out and about!

They've gotten plenty of questions about their birthday from followers who all just want to do something special for their leaders birthday, but with the lamb not being able to remember, they simply just have to find another way to thank them for all that they do around the cult

As for their age, they're a little over 300 years old now! (As per the present in the timeline of this au >:] )

Rayne is on the more jacked side! I imagine that their life is basically hardcore mode constantly, and needing to fight literal gods who are at least twenty times larger and stronger than them, they needed some muscle! As well as needing to help around the cult and shit

44: What is your lambs favorite weapon? Their least favorite?

Rayne absolutely adores using the axe! It's quick, hefty and makes killing a little faster (and less painful despite the fact they're killing heretics) while their least favorite is the gauntlets; they believe there are more peaceful ways to go,, plus it's way more gruesome to them

The way I'm whole heartedly debating writing a fanfic of my tsoc au so badly, because I've got like such a base outline ready that I can adjust when I need to and tweak to whatever I want

I have few questions about your au 😎

What happened to the lamb? Did they die? Why didn't they destroy the crowns? What happened to the bishops?

Also, how did Webber got the crown? Do they use it in any kind of way? (Like a weapon or something) Will the crown effect them in any kind of way? (Like they will gain height or extra limbs or stuff like that)

The world has roughly the storyline as the base game, with Webber joining the cult after all the bishops had been brought back as mortals. The Lamb is perfectly healthy as God of Death and cult leader!

They didn't destroy the crowns because they never had an idea that they *should* have, to prevent any other potential gods from rising up and repeating the cycles of war and destruction.

Already answered this one kinda but the bishops/Nari are living their lives as regular cultists. Things may not be perfect, but at least they can all relax and not cause genocide.

So it took a while for Webber to happen upon the crown. They were mid teens after all, but joined as a kid that was maybe 7 or 8ish. After being adopted by Shamura, they had learned how to fight, later helping out his Auntcle Lamb with crusading. One of his trips to Silk Cradle led him to be found by the crown of War. A fun thing to explain once he got home as you can imagine.

Crown weapons, huh? Webber would probably go for whatever would be most useful against the current enemies, but he favors faster to medium fast weapons. Swords, polearms, and claws are his favorite, and he never cared for hammers.

As for how he'll change? I'm still working on that. As he grows in power I'm thinking he'll gain a second set of arms and maybe a few more small eyes, but nothing too crazy. Hell also just get larger in general as he gains devotion. Crazy changes are going to be saved for his eldritch form, mwahaha.
