Danganronpa AU idea: Ultra Hopeless Rockstars

A while ago, a game by the name of No Straight Roads (That you should play BTW) kept me thinking about a what if scenario. What if Leo Kuwata gets away with his murder and wins the killing game, causing the other students to be killed in the process and then kicked into a world ravaged by kids and despair?

Something important to point out is that on his travel on Towa city, Leo encounters none other than the Ultimate Despair Ibuki Kyoda who was performing one of her despair-inducing concerts live at Towa city. Somehow, Leo manages to free Ibuki from the brainwash and they become partners on to know what the hell is happening.

For their luck, the Future Foundation finds the 2 which surprises them and rather than providing them with Megaphone Hacking Guns, they gave the 2 Electric Guitars capable of hacking. But unfortunately, both of them got wrapped up by the Warriors of Hope’s Demon Hunting. Now is up to them to stop the Ultimate Despairs and Warriors of Hope and return Hope to Towa city with the power of rock and roll!

Important things to point out:

*Leon will carry a giant trauma over the death of his other classmates due to his fault and thus whenever he meets one of the other “demons”, he will get PTSD whenever they ask him about if he knows any of the other students. but through Ibuki’s help, he will overcome such despair.

*Komaru Naegi will still be there, but she will be most of a supporting character

*Since Leon won the Killing Game, Junko Enoshima will still be alive, thus preventing the mass suicide of Ultimate Despairs. Things will get darker with her around.

*Leon and Ibuki won’t be that much affiliated toward the resistance

AAAAHHHH!!! Ok. I saw some TikTok videos saying “combine the last video game you played and last tv show you watched” and I was like “oh, that would be danganronpa v3 and dungeon meshi”. Now I’m going fucking insane over it.

Anyway, here’s what I think all the v3 characters, races would be in the dungeon meshi universe.

Angie-Gnome. This one is kinda weird to start with BUT, gnomes live side by side with nature spirits and ask them for help with magic and stuff. I think Angie suits being a long life race, idk why. Also she’s would looks so cute with the ears.

Gonta-Oger. Big. Need I explain more? He’s just a gentle giant, and I think the big horns and teeth would also add to his “people get scared when they see me” story.

Himiko-Gnome. It’s literally perfect, shut up. Magic being culturally significant, generally a pretty short race, even for a character design point! The sleepy droopy eyes!!!! AHHHH! Love her.

Kaede-Tall man. She’s just so!!!! That’s all I can say. I just think if she was made another race it would take away from her everything. Like I debated an elf but, it just didn’t feel right.

Kaito-Tall man. Are you going to sit here and tell me that kaito isn’t the most guy of men. He would 100% say shit like “I only have a short life, so I need to make the most of it!” Then run head first into a dragon fight without any plans.

Kiibo-Beast man. Specifically a werewolf, like just. “I know I’m a beast man, but I’m still just as human as anyone else!” And he would still get to contemplate his humanity:DDD. I can just picture kokichi being a massive bitch about it too.

Kirumi-Elf. She’s just hot like that. Also you know, the expectation of her being perfect and talented. I feel like at first she would pity short life races and fall into the “they are like children” mindset (obviously still doing anything they asked of her, she’s still herself) then after meeting the cast, would go “oh, wait. These are just people. They don’t need pity for just existing”.

Kokichi-Half foot. Ok this is another one that’s absolutely perfect. Like the lock-picking, them commonly being known for thievery, and he would absolutely use those big old ears for no good!!!! Literally just a perfect match.

Korekiyo-Kobold. Ok. This is going to be the first of a few “because I said so” he would just look so god dam good like that. It would just add to his “I’m mysterious and not much is known about me” vibe. Yes. I know kobolds tend to stay in there community’s, and can’t speak in the common tongue that well. Fuck you!!!

Maki-Half foot. I know some might question this, but hear me out! It would be so handy for her assassin thing! Like the hearing would be a massive help, her size would make it easier to go unnoticed, also she would be incredibly light footed.

Miu-Dwarf. They’re like the technology race! They invent shit! Also her brash attitude would just fit in most with dwarves, she’s probably a bit confused why everyone’s getting mad at her for being, well, her.

Rantaro-Elf. Because I said so #2. He’s just hot, I don’t think he would pity short life races tho. My mans is too well traveled for that shit to slide.

Ryoma-Dwarf. Ok yes. It is because he’s short. But also because of his demeanour, like he’s really gruff and stoic, I imagine his backstory would be much of the same, but with the added benefit of “I will outlive most of the friends I make, so why make friends in the first place”.

Shuichi-Elf. Pure fucking vibes. Just look at him. Also something something, his parents are probably these great Influential people or whatever, and he feels like all he’s achievement’s mean nothing….. something something.

Tenko-Kobold. Another absolutely perfect one! Like, just! AG! Look at everything we know about kobolds! It can be applied to Tenko!! Also she’s not immune to the “because I said so” argument. She’s my favourite. Kobolds are my favourite. Boom. Done.

Tsumugi-Tall man. Don’t even try to argue this one. Tall men are the “nothing too special about them” race. The plain race. Like I don’t know what you want from me.

Anyway that’s all. Maybe keep an eye out for some art of this crossover. Idk. Had lots of fun tho. Obviously if anyone wants to use this idea as a springboard you absolutely can, but please let me see!!! I wanna see someone going as insane as I am about my favourite game being crossed over with such a cool manga/anime

Danganronpa Life Series Au [proud]

To the people that follow me for Danganronpa I'm having trouble with which fanfic to focus on first and need your thoughts.

1. Is an au where Junko used the DNA of Makoto and Izuru to create a child that was supposed to keep the world in despair. Her plan would fail when she died and the child would be released onto the world where after some time they would find Makoto. After a while they find him, but, he's surrounded by despair people so the child (using talents from their other parent) saves him. They get captured once Kamakura inserts himself and just takes them. Kamakura would see it as a personal project to take care of them because of his reasons and keep them somewhere away from the Future Foundation and the Remnants of Despair.

2. In this au everybody from all three classes are RoDs except for Makoto and he's stuck on an island with them. They're trying their best to make him think they're still the same people but he knows they aren't and is keeping that information to himself until he can do something.

3. Basically a werewolf/omegaverse au with Beta Makoto and hopelessly inlove Alpha Hajime. If you've seen post I had for this you partially know what's in store for this.

To all those people that followed me for my Danganronpa content don't worry, I'm cooking up something devious and delicious (never let me cook again, the kitchen is on FIRE-)

Rise Of The Hopeful Brat

Makoto is caputured and taken to the nearest RoD which so happens to be Fuyuhiko. Fuyuhiko has watched the killing game, he's seen enough to know what the hope-filled bastard is like and he's pretty sure he can handle him before tossing him to the others where they could then decided what to do with him. It would be a piece of poisoned cake...

He was wrong, so fucking wrong.

What was supposed to be a simple hostage situation quickly turned into the WORST babysitting gig he has ever gotten, granted he has never babysat anyone but if he had this would be the worst. It had only been a day since his kidnapping for the brat to start acting up. Somehow he got free and started treating the Monokumas he set to guard the place as his personal fucking throw toys, aiming at any and everything in his sight, Fuyuhiko included.

Oh but it didn't stop there, no no no.

On the second day he got free again and found the generator that was used to give his place power and destroyed it with a sledgehammer he found, luckily there was a backup one Kazuichi had made so he made do with that but his important communication line was fucked up for a while.

On the third day the little fucker had somehow gotten out AGAIN (he was going to kill those useless guards) and this time he found the control room, which was supposed to be secretly hidden, he was using to control monokumas that were fighting Future Foundation agents and used them to help the agents. It was good thing for Fuyuhiko that Makoto was absolute shit at controlling them otherwise he'd be in serious shit, but, it still gave the agents enough time to do damage on their numbers.

On the fourth day the kid was just being an annoying prick. Destroying any and all breakable things in the kitchen, which means a lack of silverware, plates and bowls for a while.

On the fifth day he–

"GET OUT OF MY FUCKING GARDEN, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE IN YOUR ROOM."

"I'LL GO WHERE I WANT!"

"TAKE THAT SHIT OUT OF MY GARDEN."

"I'LL SHIT IN YOUR DAMN GARDEN."

Fuyuhiko was on his sixth cigarette of the day when the time came to meet the rest of the RoD, which was saying a lot since it was only 11:40 a.m. in the day. His hair had grown a little longer, there was peach fuzz starting to grow on his face, dark circles around his eyes and his usual put together outfit was disheveled unlike anything it had been before he, unfortunately, captured the brat.

"Woahhh, did baby gangsta get taller?" Ibuki questioned in her cheerful tone.

"You look like shit!" Hiyoko countered.

Fuyuhiko looked away from them and stared at Makoto who was being restrained in chains with locks and cloth covering his mouth by Peko. The eyes that looked back at him told him all he needed to know. That little fucker enjoyed every single thing he had done and doesn't regret a thing.

Makoto and Fuyuhiko Keep Meeting In Very Peculiar Situations.

It starts off small like Makoto running into Fuyuhiko while out of Hope's Peak only to escalate to him being grabbed and held hostage by the Kuzuruyu Clan because he was mistaken as their target. It keeps happening and becomes a running theme where everyone expects Makoto to show up captured sooner or later.

"Just so you know, this could've gone much easier if you— WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Lifting the bag off the face, expecting to see the bastard.

"Heyyyy senpai..." Makoto's voice coming out more nervous than afraid, "Nice suit by the way."

"DON'T TRY TO EASE YOUR WAY OUT OF THIS YOU LITTLE SHIT."

I'm quite bored so I'm gonna explain my Danganronpa x Ride the Cyclone AU(They're not exactly tight-casted to the characters, The most they take from the character's directly is their songs)

The Amazing Karnak - Monodam

Out of everyone among the Monokubs and Monokuma, Monodam seems like he'd be the only one who'd be willing to give them a chance to compete for another chance at life

No hate to anyone who casted Monokuma as Karnak, But Monokuma would never give these kids the chance

Virgil the Rat - Monokid

Monokid plays guitar and has a distaste for Monodam, Therefore, Motive to just kill him for kicks. Need I say more?

Ocean Rosenberg - Rantaro Amami

You need to hear me out. People always cast Miu or Angie as Ocean when frankly, Rantaro would match with the motive. He hardly knows any of the other contestants(Since he died first and didn't really get to know anyone) and his whole motivation for "What the World Needs" in the first place, Would be his sisters because of his determination and debt feeling that drives him to want to find them

Noel Gruber - Korekiyo Shinguji

Not motivated by his sister thing. "Noel's Lament" would more be motivated by like a want to live a life without her, And using the symbolism of the French Hooker

Idk he was a last resort since I had nobody else who fit

Mischa Bachinski - Angie Yonaga

Your gonna look at me and tell me that it isn't perfect? I doubt I need to explain.

Natalia Bolinski - Tsumugi Shirogane

"Talia" was cut from this considering every character would be there even if they weren't competing(They participate in the unanimous vote and serve as ensemble) but it deserved an honorary mention

Richard (Ricky) Potts - Kokichi Ouma

I've seen people make Shuichi or Kiibo Ricky which really doesn't make sense to me. Kokichi definitely would be more Seattle "Space Age Bachelor Man" than the cast recording version, Saving earth feels more his speed instead of becoming a superhero sex god on a cat planet. Also he wouldn't take it too seriously because he highly doubts anyone will vote for him anyway, So why not go out with a bang?

Jane Doe - Maki Harukawa

I always see people make Tsumugi Jane, When it makes more sense to make a survivor Jane considering the fact she comes back to life. And since in the context of the killing game, Everyone would know anyone else died, But using a survivor would give mystery of not knowing what the fuck happened(Cause you can't exactly make anyone a Jane or John Doe in this context so their motive could be more the mystery of not knowing anything about how you died)

Constance Blackwood - Miu Iruma

Constance's whole shtick is being outcasted and only really known for like one thing and growing sour for that. THAT'S MIU'S WHOLE THING BASICALLY. The whole cast really only uses her for her inventor talent then shuns and ignores her after she finishes something for them, Miu would definitely grow annoyed of that

For how or why she accepted everything about her life is actually undecided but it could probably be because she lost it all and realized how great it was after death like Constance did but idk

So, Yeah, Here

So, I made a Danganronpa V3 circus AU

Kokichi is the ringmaster

Kaede is a lion tamer

Rantaro does fire performances

Maki is a contortionist and also does trapeze/flying trapeze with Miu

Himiko is a magician(Obvi) and Tenko is her assistant

Gonta is the strong man(Also obviously)

Kaito and Shuichi are clowns and have a type of act where Shuichi acts overly-pessimistic and Kaito's overly-optimistic

Korekiyo has a side-act set-up outside of the circus tent for intermission or before/after the main show where he reads fortunes

Tsumugi handles costumes and any repairs involving them

Angie works on props and merchandise they sell

Kirumi, Ryoma and Kiibo sell food, tickets and merchandise outside of the tent

So it's apart of my NDRV3 AU(That literally only affects pregame, Because I needed it to be explained a bit more to make sense) where certain scrapped characters and beta designs work at Team Danganronpa

Like example being this scrapped characters from Ultra Despair Girls

She writes/plans executions for different characters

And the ultimate zombie

She's head of design(For both the setting of the killing and the characters)

They're the only two I've thought about but that's just a few examples, It's not totally important to anything but I wanted to share😋

Oh and also Tsumugi isn't apart of Team Danganronpa, Nobody in the V3 cast does; Her character is just written to think she worked with Team Danganronpa and think she's the mastermind

AU where the V3 cast is on a TV show like Total Drama

Either Ultimates don't exist in this AU and they're just normal high school kids who want to be on TV and win money or they're ultimates who wanna be on TV and/or just want the money

So basically a non-despair AU with a little twist

No characters are casted directly as contestants, But I do have castings for the hosts

Monokuma is Chris, The Monokubs are Chef, Junko is Blaineley and Mukuro is Josh

It'd probably only go with the V3 cast for 3 seasons(Island, Action, World Tour)

Angie would win Island

Haven't thought of who would win Action

Maki would win World Tour

"We've met several times before. Each time we were a little different, But we always became friends..Maybe we were more"

Kaimaki has been eating at my brain recently and this idea is part of it.

So if you're still reading I'd assume you're familiar with Danganronpa and how in it; Kaito brought Maki to train with him and Shuichi because he seen her more than just an assassin

I like to think that stretched beyond just in the killing game

Pregame; I imagine Maki was distant for a similar reason(In my head pregame backstories are nearly the same as in-game, Only one or two things are added or exaggerated to make them the Ultimates), And Kaito dragged her along to hang out and they became good friends. When Kaito auditioned to be on Danganronpa, Maki hardly had anyone else so she joined with him too; Mostly to try and protect him, But more for other reasons that don't lay important to mention right now

In the killing game(As I mentioned before) he did the same thing, Annoying her until she finally gave in and hung out with him. Becoming friends and Maki even developing feelings despite being in such a dangerous circumstance

In Danganronpa Summer Camp/Ultimate Talent Development plan(Though not canon, Deserves an honorary mention). They meet under different circumstances and Kaito seems to have done the same thing once again and dragged Maki along to training. Eventually becoming such good friends that Maki tells him she's the Ultimate Assassin. Even in such a contrast to the killing game where it would change how they talk to and act around each other they still became friends

This probably makes no goddamn sense but basically what I mean is; I'm hooked on the idea of them meeting in completely different settings with personalities that slightly or drastically differ, Yet they still always become friends

Like soulmates who date throughout every reincarnation

‼️SPOILERS FOR DANAGNRONPA V3‼️

I've been having a thought of like either an AU or just a HC or whatever where Kaede's twin sister realizes the personalities and backstories are fabricated(Either completely or somewhat) early because of Kaede probably acting different and her talking about her backstory. So she decides to play detective and figure out as much as she can about the real them so they can be remembered for who they really were and not these characters they play.

So what she does is like try to track down all their friends and families or anyone who knew them to figure out like a history they spoke about and their personality and whatnot,, Think like the Good Girl's Guide to Murder book as how she goes about it🤷‍♀️

I've been thinking about it a whole lot and needed to share this, May or may not write this into a fanfic or something

Btw Maki is Jane Doe because I needed to use a survivor for it to make sense(Because of the whole reviving thing) and Maki seemed like the only character out of the three who would be upset and angry rather than accepting, As well as the only character among the three that (almost) everyone was scared of at one point. So she just made sense

i finally made Nagito’s AU design and i am so happy!!! i don’t think i’ll give the AU so much attention but i had fun drawing it!

Nagito Living in a Cottage AU

i started thinking about making an Danganronpa AU where the main character is Nagito and he suffered a serious accident, causing him a lot of physical and mental injuries. Almost to no one wanna keep contact with him, since everybody thinks he is a psychopath and a lunatic, so he is now left alone in this state. He ended buying a cottage in the woods so he would isolate himself with the thought this would help him recovering and work on his mental state.

I did this to help me cope with some stuff so i don’t go all crazy. Maybe adding some more characters from the other games? Idk, i just wanted to know what other people think

Can u tell your opinion if RnD was a masterminds?

Well in my opinion. Razzle would be the main head of the mastermind ring. Due to him being an absolute sadistic manipulative psychopath. Kinda like junko but abit more worse. He enjoys every. Single moment of peoples pain and misery. Loving other people turning against each other. Like pure entertainment for him to see that. He was not that dazzle went against him. So ofc he almost killed him. In cold blood. Razzle was pressured to be death after one of the survivors managing to sneak up and manage or steal the control remote, sending razzle to his execution.

Meanwhile dazzle would work besides razzle for a while untill dazzle goes against his own brother, even tho dazzle might be the mask of tradagy, even he thinks that this is way WAY to far. Causing people pain and trauma to the point where they kill others or theirselfs. Is something dazzle can't stand. He goes against razzle in the final trial. Leaving dazzle in a near almost death state. He lucky survived. Just with some scars.

Razzle and dazzle relationship is toxic. With razzle "punishing" his own brother if he messes up and or says something stupid.

Plus in my au razzle and Dazzle are not conjoined.
