Dive Deep into Creativity: Discover, Share, Inspire
I have such a love/hate relationship with Bela Lugosi's Dead because it is such a great song but I've listened to it 27383918w73738e8w82 times, and it's hella long. It is the epitome of a goth song, and a true spooky classic and every time I hear the start of that bassline I get excited and then I either dance like the goth kids from South Park or I give a dejected sigh and bob my head
To elaborate, it really bothers me that some goths and punks feel a desire to judge others based in their tastes in music or fashion. The entire point of any alternative subculture is to embrace individuality and self expression. To say that one band, one artist or clothing style is "less goth" and "less punk" is fucking insane. That's why the subculture is so great, people can unite under something a little more strange than the usual culture. So when the subculture turns in on itself and cannibalizes it's very members, then we have already lost. We all desire to embrace individuality and what we like and don't liek Sometimes I enjoy metal. Does that mean I can't be in the goth or punk subcultures? No, it just means that I have the creative maturity to enjoy other genres. besides In summary, fuck you if you tell someone they can't like something due to their subculture. Fuck you if you don't make others feel bad about what they like.

Hand-me-down shoes, a vintage blouse, legwear from a lingerie shop, a novelty bag from the children’s section, a jacket that you cut up and repurposed into a skirt, hair accessories from Claires… whatever you have in your wardrobe.
