In the beginning of the smp, Tubbo was a lot like Aimsey, wasn't he?

He was hopeful and optimistic, and he was full of joy.

But Tubbo learned.

He learned that nothing he loves stays.

Lmanberg, Wilbur, Tommy, Ranboo,

none of them ever stayed.

And seeing Aimsey, someone just like Tubbo, so hopeful and naive,

It broke something in him.

yeah

and I gotta say I’m not too happy with the memory loss scene either. like I’m perfectly happy for S2 dream and tommy to be friends but they could’ve had clingyduo be friendly too. and is S2 just a big memory wipe? or is that scene supposed to be limbo? I’m so confused and although it really good I agree it could have ended better

unpopular opinion real quick I don't actually hate it but man. man I wish it had ended better. I wish they had been together at least

I like that idea. I also like the idea that tommy was just getting a bit more peace and closure for himself while stalling for time, and that the “I’m sorry” was more an “I’m sorry that things couldn’t have gone differently. That I have to kill another human being. That you turned out like this.” Rather than necessarily being an apology for his own actions or a way of forgiving dream. I mean, if he really thought dream could change and actually have peace on the server without killing everyone, he could’ve told dream a nuke was coming, in case there was a stasis chamber or something that dream could activate

i think the reading im going with though. is that c!tommy fell for c!dream's manipulation. because dream goes on and on about how he's doing this 'for the good of the server' and to help people and he tries for so long to make himself seem sympathetic

and i really do think that 'dream was a good person before and he can still be a good person now despite everything that's happened' isn't the correct answer but it's the answer that tommy himself arrived at. because he's an unreliable narrator and he's just been manipulated by dream that much

“What have you done?”

His voice is a reedy whisper, thin with horror and the realization that he is too little, too late. He doesn’t expect the sound to carry over the lava, but a response comes soon enough.

“He wouldn’t stop talking. And he killed the cat.”

Dream’s voice is even, calm, almost a bit defensive, as if he truly believes that he is justified in his actions. Sam swallows down his mounting nausea, places his trident against the floor to steady himself. The lava crackles, hisses, bubbles, orange and glowing, and he can’t cross it. Not now. Not when the security threat remains unresolved. Not when any wrong move on his part could very well mean Dream’s escape.

But he’s already made the wrong move, hasn’t he? Made the wrong move, and Tommy has paid for it. Has been paying for it, this whole last week. He kept him in there, kept him locked in a box with Dream even though he knows very well how it would effect him, kept him locked in with the reasoning that it was temporary, that he would let him out as soon as he could, that he couldn’t risk Dream’s release for anyone, even for Tommy.

But it’s not temporary.

Tommy was sixteen and loud-mouthed and bright-eyed when Sam last saw him, when he said that this would be the last time, that he was going to put his past behind him and look to a new start. Tommy will always be sixteen and loud-mouthed and bright-eyed, and locked in a box. There will be no new start. No seventeenth birthday. No triumphant return, no shining hotel. No tricks, no scams, no pranks.

AN IDEA POPPED INTO MY HEAD AFTER RANBOO VISITED DREAM

What if Ranboo kills Dream.

I know that sounds weird considering the guy has the backbone of a chocolate eclair but what if him hearing voices because far too much. And with Dream being the focus of his hallucinations, he just snaps and attacks him out of no where.

So like let me set a scene for y’all.

Dream basically goes a little insane inside his cell, not in a murderous way but a kinda broken way. Barely speaking during visits, starring at the clock and walking into the lava more and more. So Sam or Tommy suggest taking him out for a day on good behaviour.

Dream gets to come out of his cell and walk around the smp for a day but only if he’s accompanied by guards and volunteers. So Tommy, Tubbo, Sam, Quackity and others (Bad and Antfrost depending on the whole egg stuff) are there following Dream around telling him about everything that’s going on with the smp. But near the end of the day Dream asks if they can go to a place that’s quite and stuff so he can just appreciate the small things he doesn’t have in prison.

When they get there Dream sits a fair few paces ahead of everyone just looking at the land while the others chat amongst themselves. After a couple minutes Ranboo walks over to everyone without noticing Dream (he had no idea he was outside) and asks what’s going on.

Half way through Sam’s explanation, Ranboo notices Dream and can’t look away from him. From Ranboo’s point of view everything goes black but Dream and he starts to hear the voice yelling at him, getting louder and louder with each sentence. But in reality Dream is still vibing in his own little world.

Anyways Ranboo starts to get really really stressed and overwhelmed, making wonder man noises and shaking. The voice screams one last thing at him (somthing among the lines of traitor or psycho?) which causes Ranboo to snap and push past everyone towards Dream.

He starts shouting at him to get out of his head while the voice starts to whisper insults getting harsher the closer he gets. Dream meanwhile is like wtf is going on and stands up, putting his hands in the air trying to show that he’s peaceful. But because Dream wears a mask and you can’t see his mouth Ranboo thinks that Dream is actually saying it all to him.

This leads to Ranboo breaking to a new level and straight up slashing down with his sword, striking Dream in the face and torso. This of course kills him in one swing because he’s got no armour what’s so ever. So it’s already too late by the time the others run over to try and save him.

Everyone starts shouting, trying to understand wtf just happened while Dream leaves the game... then enters DreamXD.

Boom bam everyone is even more confused to see him (He’s confirmed to be a separate entity to Dream). Everyone shuts up when he teleports to the exact spot Dream died and begins to build a grave/momoral for him, placing his now broken mask into a item frame next to the grave stone. Once he’s done he turns around and faces Ranboo, who is currently distraught that he’s murdered someone, and just says:

DreamXD: It’s okay... it was about time he paid for his wrong doings...

Ranboo: I- I don’t know why I did that. I didn’t mean to, I didn’t want to-

DreamXD: I know.

DreamXD: This was unavoidable...

DreamXD: I suggest you check spawn...

Dream joined the game

DreamXD left the game.

End scene

Should I write this into a proper fanfic? Maybe? Idk, if anyone wants this turned into a proper fic I’ll write it up, or if anyone wants to write it themselves you are more than welcome but please credit me. I will more than likely be posting a comic of this (I already have it sketched out lol).

I was rewatching the Hitting on 16 vod and holy shit I think I cracked the code to as why the dynamic between c!crimeboys in the final c!Wilbur lore stream felt off.

No, because now all of this makes sense. The finale of Wilbur’s story makes sense. c!crimeboy's dynamic isn’t what it used to be in Lmanberg. It’s changed and c!Tommy is used to the way Wilbur uses words now. It has “no effect on Tommy anymore. They just make him a little frightened”

Tommy: “You’re scaring me” Wilbur: “I don’t want to scare you” Tommy: “Well you are Will!”

This exchange makes sense.

“He felt he had done something wrong simply by posing his pov and he felt like the antagonist when all he wanted was an answer”

The entire stream, whatever felt off between them, it all makes sense now

c!Tommy wants answers to his questions. c!Wilbur is unwilling to give them to him. That is, until c!Tommy resorted to violence just as he had seen was effective all throughout his childhood midst war and more prominently in his exile

“I don’t know why I did that… I didn’t use to be this angry” Frightened of abandonment because he could see the fragments of a broken man, his brother, who had been held together with a single bandage since his revival slowly start falling out of place.

And all c!Tommy wanted was an answer to his questions.

But Tommy’s only ever been antagonised for them.

In the new lore and the new season we see Tubbo, Dream and Tommy in the afterlife or in a limbo, right?

But where are Punz and Jack? They were in the prison to.

Punz and Jack still has life’s left! Punz is still alive and has both revive books. He will obviously bring back Dream.

Now, Will Dream bring back Tommy? Probably. He doesn’t seem to want Tommy dead.

But who will bring back Tubbo?

Oh yeah!

And if Tubbo decides that, due to personal experience, execution isnt the answer and exile is then Ranboo starts getting really like panicky about the thought of being alone again then just ends up teleporting to Logsted or even possibly Techno's base.

We got a hint of a backstory for Ranboo - granted it isn't concrete evidence.

He mentioned about L'manberg giving him a home.

This could mean

He has hardly or not at all had a home before

Or

Just L'manberg giving him a place to stay when he joined the place to stay so he feels slightly indebted to them and so he's angry because he betrayed his morals of helping people who helped him
