Want a free print of my watercolor art?

I feel it is very important to exercise our right to vote. I am not going to make any statement on who you should vote for, but if you vote, I will give you a print for FREE of my watercolor animals. What do you need to do?

1. Vote

2. Take a picture or update your social media or whatever with your "I Voted!" sticker OR hold the ballot stub, hold a sign, whatever you need to do. :) Just something to show you voted.

3. PM or email (NixAnimalia@gmail.com) your photo or link me to your social media update along with your 1 choice of print and your mailing address. (I will delete your photo and not use it for anything outside of proof you voted). Please pick only from these pictures on this post.

4. Get your print in the mail!

Feel free to share this. If I give free prints out to the entire nation because everyone voted, that will make me a very happy person. :)

If reading this can change my life, change someone else’s, or plant an idea to set a plan into motion then consider it a job well done. I’m sorry to my followers that I’m not my usual jolly self, but due to the current events #s̶h̶i̶t̶ ̶s̶t̶o̶r̶m̶ taking place in my country right now I feel the need to speak out. I fear for the future of the country and I fear that a great evil fueled by hate has taken over the hearts of many people. I’ve never considered myself a minority, I always naively thought it was just a label used to categorize groups of people on paper. I am the daughter of two immigrant parents. I will proudly wear the label of “minority” or “beaner” or any other label and gladly walk side by side with my other minority brothers and sisters to stand for what we believe in. This is just a start wait and see what happens when we are pushed to our limits. Fear is the strongest motivator for change, and there are a lot of frightened people right now…

I am horrified but...

Hillary and the DNC dug themselves this grave. They didn’t make voters feel like they mattered. They discredited Bernie voters and now on MSNBC there are comments that are blaming Bernie. This happened maybe because people felt that they really didn’t count. I have a Bernie and a Hillary sticker on my wall, we voted for Hillary but this was in part Hillary’s fault. Trump’s people chose an option that was different from what they felt had failed them. Hillary didn’t see this as valid and didn’t address these peoples concerns.

The Larger The Share Of Overall Energy Jobs That Are Solar And Wind Jobs, The More Likely A State Was

The larger the share of overall energy jobs that are solar and wind jobs, the more likely a state was to support the Democratic candidate in 2016. This has an important lesson for Trump as his administration crafts energy policy.

Per Axios:

...for the most part, states that Trump narrowly won have a higher percentage of energy jobs that are renewable-energy jobs than safe Republican states.

Thus, an energy policy that shuns renewables in favor or jobs in fossil fuels could bolster his support in solid red states, while jeopardizing his support in the swing states he narrowly won to give him the presidency. Trump would be wise to continue Obama’s investment in renewables.
