SONIC EXPRESSION NOTES!!

Expressions.... hard to explain... but I hope this is helpful :D

I have the problem, that I think my expressions are too plain ... I think I figured out a way to get myself to exaggerate them.

I'm simply drawing different expressions, simplified to a smiley in a circle, just that I draw it 3 times. Each time, I try to make the expression more intense. and then I draw it on a face.

(I'm making the 25-essential-expressions challange)

Like here some examples:

Happy:

Sad (Idk, not too satisfied with that one but whatever):

Pleased (I like this very much. Like that smug character winning another argument and then smiling at you like that and saying, Told you~ ... or just a cute cinnamon roll ...):

Angry:

And confused:

Looks kinda good. If I did that challenge without the three smiley faces, it would show less expression.

Thought I might share that, maybe that helps someone.

Bit of an art dump!

Been practicing my toony style a lot more for the comic series I’m doing, and I feel I’m starting to get at least a decent grasp on it x’)

Some crying tips. I’m pretty bored of seeing movies with clean crying, but wow it’s by no means clean. It’s gross and messy and just downright fun to draw.

Got bored while doing work.

Decided to draw some Judy. The art book really helped me redo my style of drawing her.

I even did a tutorial, H’WOW! (Don’t follow  exactly everything here, develop your own style that suits you better, this is just a reference.)

Time to do Nick next… after I do my work.

Day 6 of 50! Expressions the first 3 was of my head and the the others are with real people photos it’s not easy but the guys came out good haha ✍🏽💀

From the window I see the dark blue night sky,The stars sparkling like scattered pearls up high.

In the midst of it all, Saturn appears,A planet so unique, with its beauty clear. Its rings glitter and dance with endless grace, Spaceship to Saturn would be a race.

A symbol of the universe above, That fills me with awe and purest love. The planet stands out like a glimmering gem, Reminding me of life's endless rhythm.

As I gaze upon this celestial sight, My heart fills with joy and pure delight. From the window I see the dark blue night sky,And the beauty of Saturn soaring by.

I'm in a total lovesick mess,My heart feels heavy, like a crest. I can't get you out of my mind, Your love has me tightly bind.

Every moment, every hour,I'm thinking of you, my sweet flower. Your touch, your kiss, your smile, Makes my heart race like a mile.

I'm lost in this feeling of love, It's like I'm wearing a glove. Your love fits me just right, It's like we were meant to unite.

So here I am, head over heels, With my heart ready to feel. My love for you will never rest, I'm in a total lovesick mess.

I need to practice drawing expressions and head from different angles. So I decided to combine my biggest hyperfixation (that being Jacob) and 35 expression exercise. There probably will be 6 expressions in each post until i finish all of them.So yeah…wish me luck.

Still practicing drawing expressions and I am so happy with how these turned out!
