Ya’ll remember this post where I talked about how I was making a magazine concept for my graphic design class? This one? 👇
So since this project has deal with making several pages as well. I think it would be cool if the article were to ask Ace some questions! We haven’t heard Ace speak during his time Gorillaz so let’s hear him speak now.
But you know what would be really cool??
If you guys could ask him yourselves. 👀
I feel that it would the article sound more genuine this way. So send me your questions for him and I will select the ones that I feel will be the most interesting for the article. Also quick side note, this article is based on an AU where 2D and Ace have both quit their jobs to create a new band called “The Rejects.” Keep that in mind.

Diamonds in the Rough is a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure zine that caters to unpopular, or rare, pairings that people find themselves shipping. Meaning that’s ships such as Jotakak or FuGio are not included.

The theme for this issue of the Tea, Toast & Ghosts zine is "What's your favorite part of Lockwood & Co.?" with a twist:
We challenge you to frame your piece as something you might see in one of the gossip rags Lockwood loves to read in his free time.
For example, if your favorite part of the show is the costumes, create art of your favorite character in street fashion! If you love Skull's snarky commentary, write an editorial from his perspective! We encourage you to push your creativity to its limits.

Here are my two pages for @untoldstoriescwzine :) I guessed I made myself wait on this one but I felt like it was more excited to let the mystery last a little longer ;)
My take on the Untold Story is that Maul and Savage deserved more screen time together and thus I decided to create a small exchange over Maul preparing his revenge on Obi-Wan during his (short) time of ruling Mandalore. And, of course, that included reminding people of Feral and Savage having trouble remembering his life pre-transformation but still having remnants of feelings he had felt once.
Yes, it’s angst, my bad.

Hello there!
Here are the three pieces I created for this fic, which was truly an amazing opportunity for me to work on the disaster trio again.
The ambiance of Onderon’s wild side was a challenge for me, especially for the first one to convey the sunset and the speed of their vehicle while they are arguing.
The sandwich was obviously one of my favorite parts along with the reflection on the glass.
However, I must admit that it was so easy to work on these pieces, especially with @kckenobi‘s writing and how inspiring the fanfiction was.
The awe in Ahsoka’s eyes, Obi-Wan’s open mindset, Anakin’s playful and relaxed attitude... It just felt right to draw them like that. Overall, truly a wonderful collaboration to work on and I’m grateful for that experience!

She did remember, now, what she’d learned as a youngling, staring up at hologram stars in the Jedi Temple—how even as galaxies grew further and further apart, gravity held together the masses most near to one another.
Ahsoka pulled herself up onto the hood of the speeder and sat back against the windshield. And as she stared up at stars that felt just as elusive as those holograms long ago, she found herself wishing for this: that Anakin would look up too.
