Perhaps a controversial take but if companies are going to sell Pride merch and market it as Pride merch, it should be pretty obvious that what they are selling is indeed Pride merch.
If I see one more shirt that’s advertised as Pride-themed that just has the company’s name in 🌈rainbow🌈 or one of the character’s color pallets replaced by a 🌈rainbow🌈 I am going to explode.

this post is targeted directly at the Walmart I just walked out of
one of the shirts they had listed as Pride was just a Hello Kitty shirt with a unicorn riding a rainbow
that’s literally a normal Hello Kitty shirt
the only one that even kind of counted was a Golden Girls shirt that said love is love
the others just had rainbows over company logos/characters
I like rainbows but I’m so tired of the lgbtqia+ community being boiled down to rainbows
CAN WE PLEASE BE MORE THAN JUST RAINBOWS.
