I also really like how the story is of a cat that helps people even if at first it’s out of a selfish motivation because in stories cats are often portrayed as aloof and completely self centered. Sissel is such a good main character and a good example of how nice cats will be when the get to like someone

Pets? What pets? I don’t see no pets here. All I see are a mysterious immortal kitten, a scientist’s pure and perfect wife and the world’s best Pomeranian.
The pets really are such a vital part of Ghost Trick’s story. I know quite a few people who gave this game a chance based on Missile alone XD You should too. Do it for Missile.

the fact that both missile and sissel don’t know what guns are because they are a dog and a cat respectably is just such good subtle foreshadowing. this whole game is just idiot to idiot communication
