Being happy hurts. It’s one truth of the world no one wishes to speak about. Being happy doesn’t allow for sadness. Being happy doesn’t allow for others to help you. And lord forbid that you actually say that you aren’t ‘happy’.
“But you have a such a good life”
To walk on the street is like being in a library. You might choose a random book from a random shelf, or search for what you want in your favorite section. You often choose the book, judging by the coverpage you like. Then you read on the back, a short introduction of the books contence. But if you really want to know what the books about, and understand the ending, you have to open the book and read the pages. You might skip some pages from time to time, but then there is a limit to how many books you can read through your life. Just be sure they are good books. In the end there are only a few books you can read over and over, without tiring of them. Keep those books close, and give them a good ending
My so called life
Life is pretty good for me. Since I don’t work until 2, I wake up around 8, check the time, maybe use the bathroom, check my notifications on my phone, go back to bed until 10 or so. Wake up, check Facebook, tumblr, instagram, then twitter. Then I go to the gym. Then throughout the day, I keep checking every couple of hours.
Around midnight I post something random on Facebook and go to bed and start everything over again the next day. It’s a good life. It’s an uncomplicated life. It’s my life. I just need MTV to film me so I can say to the camera, “you have no idea.”
