so the apk i use for spotify isn't working anymore (for right now, hopefully the mod devs can get past it once more 🔥🔥) because something something spotify can sense when you use apks or some shit for premium... ofc i found something new in like no time flat but.

come on. maybe if there weren't so many obtrusive ads on mobile and premium wasn't so expensive, we wouldn't NEED or WANT to use apks. y'all aren't getting my fucking money when i have better shit to use it on.

i remember back in Ye Olden Days when spotify was a hellscape theorized to have viruses up the ass, but no ads. it was absolute hell to navigate the app, but it was, in my humble yet forceful opinion, way better than it is now. i'm sick of ceos modernizing and changing everything just because they want more money. you HAVE enough money. you have an app that is used by MILLIONS, you moneyhungry fuckwits.

The truth is that third-party job sites have a financial incentive to not work. The longer you spend looking for a job, the longer you are on their site. And if you get frustrated enough, you might even pay them money to make it easier (subscriptions, promoting ur profile/listing, etc- upwork has a fucking in-app currency). Job sites run by communities or employers directly are harder to find but much more likely to be useful.

What do you mean you can’t find a job? Have you looked on Indeed? What about Linkedin? You should try Upwork. How about Rise? Have you tried Jobera? Take a look on Dribbble. You GOTTA be on Jooble, dude. Get on Jooble. Jooble has it for you.

AP Human Geography makes you realize how we are in a new Era of colonization

In my AP Human Geography class, we finished learning all the units just so we can be prepared for the AP test. So when I was doom scrolling away minutes of my life on tiktok, I saw a gal saying how people don't even realize that we are in a new Era of colonization, which is called Neo colonialism. Neo colonialism is uses wallerstein's world systems theory, that countries develop based off of their economic development and there are 3 phases to it. Core country's, which are country's that are economically developed and buy materials like steel to make into cars to sell to other countries, which are countries like Japan, US, and Eastern Europe. Periphery country, which are countries with barely to none economic development that sells material like steel to core countries and buy final products like cars for high and expensive prices and semi periphery countries are in-between of core and periphery like Mexico(semi) and sub Sahara Africa(periphery). Neo colonialism is when a semi or periphery country is economical dependent on a core country which influences the semi periphery and periphery countries. These can cause fixed prices on products that these semi periphery and periphery countries have on certain products(fixed prices are when the government pays farmers to keep products to have cheep prices when selling them which doesn’t benefit the country economically) or other things. It sucks and most of these are from the ashes of former colonizes.

Tldr: The new form of colonialism is neo colonialism which makes poor countries depend and be influenced by rich countries and that's bad.
