Trying to study amid self-conflicts and doubts. I'm so depressed and worried about my future.
Books that I bought for May. I've already had three of them on my tablet, and since I liked them, I decided to buy their paperbacks. Siddhartha and Kitchen are the ones that I'll be reading for the first time. I bought some stuff from Daiso as well, as there was a sale going on there.
After all the shopping and fulfilling the reason I came to another city — to take the entrance exam — I'm now back at the hotel, drinking green tea to digest all the heavy food that's hard to avoid while traveling. I'm also writing a few things in my pocket diary. After this, I'll study a bit, maybe some English grammar and vocabulary. I have one more test tomorrow.
Analyzing past papers to get a sense of what to expect in the entrance exam amid the tensions throughout the nation.
Guys, good news! I got an acceptance letter from a university! I'm so happy. It may not be the best one, but I'm proud that I cleared their entrance exam. I still have many exams ahead of me, and if I qualify those, I could get into a better university or B-school.
Fruits and English grammar
I'm going to study Quant now.
Enough with my depressing thoughts. I decided to make myself a five-ingredient sandwich, and now I'm going to study English. (Maybe studying will distract me from all the pessimistic thoughts and loneliness.)
I'm getting very stressed these days because my high school finals results will be declared soon. I know I didn't do well, so I just hope I pass and achieve the required percentage to get into universities. My first entrance exam didn't go well either. I plan to post everything I do — for example, if I finish one or two topics, I'll post about it. Maybe this will satisfy my brain and give it enough dopamine so that I don't procrastinate. Tommorow, I plan to complete Set Theory, Statistics, Sequences and Series, Permutations and Combinations, and maybe Linear Equations as well if I have some time left.
I've made a decent study plan for my upcoming exams, though I'll admit I'm very scared. Also, I've finally decided to add dried snapdragon (flowers) to my commonplace notebook. We'll be moving out in a month, and I'll have to leave this beautiful garden behind as well. I've spent more than twelve years here, so I'm drying some flowers from the garden and placing them at random pages in my notebook.
📍Agra Fort, Agra
These are not very good photos of Agra Fort from the outside. I took them from a moving car, and this is the best I could do.
Time left for the exam: 2 days
I have three days left before my entrance exam. I didn’t study much today, but I’ll try my best to complete at least one English book.
Thank you so much!!!! I've been so nervous to write again, but this boosted my confidence.
Thank you again! It's such an honor to think that Ovid might have appreciated it.
(I've been smiling so wide my cheeks have started to hurt. I even told my mom about it—this made my day!)
Hello! I'm sorry to bother you with this, but would you mind reading this? I wrote it two years ago and I’ve been thinking about returning to poetry. No pressure at all—you can ignore this if you're busy. I just wanted to ask you because you seem to know a lot about the Greeks.

Have a good day! 🩵
It's not a bother! I really enjoyed reading this. It felt so vocal, like oral poetry, which is of course very fitting for the ancients. You did an excellent job! Ovid would be proud. And thank you for trusting me with it.
📍The Rangji Temple/Sri Ranganatha Temple, Vrindavan
Book Review;
(2.5/5 ⭐)
I think this is a good book. It contains some good poetry, a lot of historical references, and some information about haiku as well. The poem collection is quite vast — it includes haiku about daily life, beautiful moments, and even some that are quite sexual. There’s also poetry on politics. Overall, it’s a decent book, but I think there should have been more haiku. The author/publisher included some unnecessary content toward the end, like the romaji of the Japanese poems — not once, but twice. The book also contains some explicit images, which were historical illustrations drawn in Japan.
The Penguin Book of Haiku
My current art skills shouldn't be judged based on this—it was drawn almost three years ago, when I was 15.
A textile art piece at my grandparents' house.
This is a Korean cutlery gift set meant for couples. I don’t get to touch it often, as it was my parents who received it as a gift.
📍ISKCON, Vrindavan, India
A Thai handicraft made from coconut.
This decorative piece made of brass, crafted so beautifully with Indian craftsmanship, has been more of a sacred object than just a decoration. My mom always worships it on the day of Mahalakshmi Puja.
I’ve defiled the very first page of my new journal—the one destined to be my sacred commonplace book. A grand beginning, now tainted beyond repair. Truly, my talent knows no bounds.(sarcasm, of course)
I tend to get a bit dramatic...... nevermind.
I received this on my birthday back in 2014. I wasn’t a big fan of it then, but I like it now. I consider it vintage, though I’m not sure how others see it.
I'm so happy. Look at this beautiful collection of books by Virginia Woolf. I'm so excited to read them.
21 days left for preparation..........

🤦🏻♀️: I need to get myself together. I'm so pathetic. Except for attending classes, I spent the entire day just reading Webtoon.
