honestly.. dating JAY would be a hot mess

we all know he’s just a lil crackhead; so, of course, he would make jokes and try to get you to laugh/smile if he notices you’re feeling down or are sick

loves it when you laugh or smile, it’s the main reason for his extra silliness in front of you

may get annoying sometimes, but he loves you a lot<33

on the serious note, he’d tone down the joking if you’re seriously not feeling it

before dating, he was a nervous wreck and tried to act cool whenever you walked into the room (it failed miserably btw)

would 100% try to impress you with literally anything!!

tackles you every time you see him again after a long time

yaps. like.. a lot. you’d probably listen to him yap hours on end about the latest starfarer comic 😭

i feel like you’d have to pry his hands off of you if you need to go to the bathroom or sum… he’ll become pouty and sulky (if you’re even able to use the bathroom, he’ll def be standing outside patiently until you’re done)

anyway! (also, synthia’s design isn’t really final,, i haven’t had the time to go back and tweak it- will likely replace the above image at a later date to be more accurate; and the thing on opals shoe is supposed to be white)

reason they don’t have earth and lightning is 1) i am too attached to cole and jay and 2) by the time opal and synthia’s powers were supposed to be realized, the merge happened, which created new elemental powers (the reason and elements are cringe and stupid i know but listen i came up with it on a whim,,)

also ignore any timeline weirdness i do not care enough

- doesn’t really like using her powers bc she blames them for her lack of genuine connections and she just wants to be “normal” (y’all ever heard of rose winters¿)

- the “born from a well” was from an re8 au i made (which is why they were made in the first place lol),, in normal canon she was not born from a well i promise

- ended up in shintaro after the merge; loves their kingdom and way of living; but she doesn’t understand her powers or have much control over them so she avoids the mines

- probably has adhd

- synthia because synth ig idk jay named her

inherited from cole: ghost scar (above her left eye), nose, face shape, eye shape, skin color

inherited from jay: hair texture, eyebrows, two fangs (they are very small though + no venom)

mix of both: hair color, eye color

personality + traits! stubborn, socially inept/naive, lively/peppy, loud, super insecure
