Jedi Younglings - Blog Posts

Since we haven’t started the @jedijune​ prompts yet, I thought I’d just do a bit of a teaser for what I have planned. 

A lot of my Jedi content this month will focus on their relationship with younglings, and there’s not better way to start things off than to remind you all that Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi actually spoils kids a lot and always have.

There’s just so much softness and love and fondness here, and it’s beautiful. 

+ Bonus: Yes, he spoiled Anakin too, just a bit <3

So I saw a post about younglings and padawans pranking each other (and sometimes the masters) and sewing cat ears on their cloaks and

I did sketch Elzar, Avar and Stellan because I love those three (also, they lived way before Order 66 so I can spare myself from the trauma of knowing that they were cute Younglings that later got slaughtered)

Clone Trooper Jed with his adopted Jedi Youngling.

Bonding before order 66. A head canon that I made at the start of the year, where another clone trooper removes his inhibitor chip and rescues a youngling from order 66 and ends up adopting her. Eventual Rebel alliance agents and medics. She is three years old during the final year of the clone wars and they have been friends for majority of the clone wars, he considers her as his own daughter. At the moment this is a Dad and Daughter drawing together.

Poor uncle Ben

Meet the first oc - Skye Akira. As I watched the Clone Wars, I wondered why not all Masters had Padawans during such a difficult time? Who trains all these younglings? I understand that not all children can be sent to war, but still. Watching poor lonely (not really) Obi-Wan, I realized that he urgently needed another little thorn next to him. And here is the result. Skye is 13, she came to Obi-Wan at the beginning of the second year of the war. She is quiet and cute. 212, 501, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Anakin become her family, which, alas, is destined to part. And little Skye has many trials ahead of her.
