I miss blue coral gillion :(

Like don’t get me wrong I love when people give him pink accents and I fully support changing the canon designs in your art cuz it’s your art and you can do whatever the hell you want

And the pink coral looks very cute! I just haven’t seen a blue coral gilly in Ages I miss it. It feels like everyone’s doing the pink coral and I have no idea if that’s because they like it more or everyone’s forgotten it’s canonically blue lmao

EDIT: I may be spreading misinformation thanks to the wiki lol - it doesn’t seem like either color is explicitly canon (unless it is in fact mentioned somewhere in the campaign), more that the original thumbnails had blue and later official art had pink

riptide 53 monologue: jolly edition

talking about how gillion could live over 100 years longer than chip or jay and.

imagine gill caring for chip in his old age.

gill has only just started to feel the creaking in his bones that his friends complained of when they turned 30, but chip cant get out of bed without help anymore, and even his cane hardly helps him keep his balance. hes just about blind and nearly deaf and his breaths are that old man rattling wheeze.

and gill knows chips running out of time. he knows its a miracle that chip even still wakes up every morning. and he maybe gently offers one afternoon to go out and get the ingredients for chips favorite soup and theyll have that for lunch. and chip just wheezes out a half-there mumbled agreement. and gill sadly squeezes his hand. and gets up to go into town.

and hes gone just an hour or so, but he comes back and chips still laying in bed asleep. and gill sets the groceries down to check on him and let him know hes back. and chip,, doesnt respond.

gill squeezes his hand and repeats that he brought back stuff for soup, and theres nothing. he shakes chips shoulder and says itll be ready in just an hour, and nothing. and with shaking hand he feels for chips pulse. and nothing.

and gill knew this was coming, he did, he really did. but now hes sitting next to his best friend on the edge of the bed, surrounded by fresh ingredients he didnt get to cook, and he cries. he sniffles, brushes a hand through whats left of chips white hair, and breaks down crying with his face in his hands.

Who knew listing of every one of Gillion’s titles and then texting as Gillion would convince someone to watch riptide

For Elena I decided to give them an outfit that I have worn before since I felt like it would be something they’d wear. It’s basically a spirited away sweater that has soot sprites on it with some 1975 (I think) merch and a cool skirt with doc martens. THEY DESERVE THE OUTFIT!!!

Also I hated drawing Kian’s fucking sweater it made my hand cramp up it sucked but I was able to do it!

Just finished Riptide recently, and now I want to feel something!!!

Okay, I'm on episode 107 of Riptide, which is in the Black Sea Arc and I need to know why nobody told me how stressful this part of the show was going to be. All it's doing is making me have to seriously get a chew tool because I get bitey when I'm stressed. (It's still really good, I just am constantly worrying about everyone's well-being, especially Queen right now because they instantly turned pale upon entering the room with the captain)

So, I'm on episode 106 of Riptide (was not expecting the fanfic opening of Queen x Alasse, but it was very cute). I just wanna talk about the scene in episode 105 where they're going through the spider webs because I kid you not, I was so stressed while watching it, no joke.

I was messaging my friend, telling her about how stressed the scene was (yes, it was my co-writer for the Life Series AU), I had the get some food to eat, partly because I forgot to eat dinner, but mostly because I bite when I get stressed and I swear, I need a chew tool istg-
