Since it’s #klanceaumonth and one of the prompts was ‘movie of choice’, I just had to draw them as Lucien and Allen because I love this movie so much!

you know what klance trope im a sucker for?
Lance introducing Kieth to his family and they welcome him with so much enthusiasm. Lance’s parents bring Kieth in for a big hug, the very protective older siblings playfully tease him about making sure he’s treating Lance right or else they’ll kill him, Lance’s nieces and nephews cling onto Kieth because he’s the “pretty boy Lance talks about all day long”. I just love seeing the dynamic between lovable big family and awkward, nervous boyfriend.
And might I add, even though we’ve all seen this trope many times before
Kieth is surprisingly good with kids. He doesn’t pass them off as less important than the adults when being introduced to. He makes sure to talk to them as well outside from the more adult-like conversations he has with Lance’s parents and older siblings (and of course this makes Lance’s family like Kieth even more). By the time Kieth has to get back home, Lance’s nieces and nephews are all whining for Kieth to stay longer and Kieth promises them they’ll hang out more, which warms Lance’s heart and possibly gives him slight baby fever.
Day 6 Some Keith speaking in a husky voise yeah
keith and lance have their first date at an aquarium. keith knows how much water means to lance, and how much lance loves all kind of animals from the sea, especially sharks. so, he thought that would be the perfect place for their first date, when keith finally had the courage to ask lance out.
lance was of course thrilled. not only did his long time crush keith kogane ask him out, no, but their first date was also at an aquarium he’d been planning on visiting for a long time now. lance excitingly tells keith everything he knows about the animals they are seeing. keith is patently listening, having this specifically fond and soft smile on his face. the kind of smile that he only has whenever he’s around lance.
overall, the date went well. keith even got lance a plush animal in the form of a shark. they later eat dinner at a wonderful restaurant, and this time, lance was insisting on paying.
(“but, keith, you already asked me out on this date, and even got me a gift. that’s so not fair! you can’t one up me, not when it’s about being romantic!”
“but-
“nah, mister, I don’t wanna hear it. I’m a true gentleman, and therefore I will pay for our dinner. end of discussion”)
after spending a little more time together, talking and holding the others hand, keith brings lance home on his bike. they share their first kiss under the moonlight at lances door, and keith realizes he’s more gone for that wonderful boy with those blue eyes than he already knew.
