Y’all, let’s pretend it’s still Feb 14
this thing has literally been chilling in my drafts since the first part of this series 😭 so, uh, if anything seems off, it’s because I wrote this before I wrote parts 2-6
Hope you enjoy! This entry contains a very small reference to Episode/Book 1
PART 1 | PART 2 | PART 3 | PART 4 | PART 5 | PART 6 | END [!]
You enter the library. Your mind was still racing from the possibilities of your…admirer? Ugh, it was still weird to think about! Who could it be!?
You weren't even here for the books but it would be nice to maybe get some studying done. There was a big exam coming up soon or so you had heard from Riddle. You sigh and get to work, gathering books.
Plus, Ace and Deuce wouldn't come find you here anyway. You had dropped Grim-sitting duty on them, which in retrospect, wasn't a good idea. If anything did happen, you had no part in that. You'll bail them out of the consequences later.
You'd been here a few times before. After all, you were a complete stranger to this world and the library seemed like the best place to find out more. Since you weren't from this world, you could treat this just like reading the lore of a fictional world. That made things fun for you.
You made your way to your spot at the back of the library. Nobody usually goes back there so you've laid claim to it as your private reading spot. The books you've compiled completely block your view so you carefully put them down, watching your step. You pull a chair out and you freeze.
The soft sound of breathing and a light inconsistent thumping. You look beyond your pile of books. There lies a slumbering man, head laying on his arms as he's slumped over the table.
He has messy brown locks, there are two braids framing his face. His unbuttoned shirt and rolled up sleeves gave off the impression he was rather careless with his appearance. You really hated how he appeared to give off that 'I woke up like this' look but still managed to look gorgeous. Most notable of all, of course, were the fuzzy lion ears on top of his head and the furry tail with a tassel of fur at the end.
You stare silently. Internally, your thoughts are going off like a lightning round.
Who is this guy? Is this a beastman? Should I be scared? Is this a good time to run? Will he wake up? What will I do if he wakes up? Can I even outrun a beastman? If he's not a cat, what is he-
He shifts. His head leans slightly to the side, off his arms. He does this rather gracefully and now you can see his beautiful features that just scream 'big trouble'. Oh boy, that scar is not helping your heart. You're starting to understand your admirer. It does indeed feel like an oncoming heart attack.
You notice him shivering just a little. Maybe beastmen were simply more sensitive to the cold draft. It is basically Winter after all and you've definitely had it hard living in Ramshackle. You sigh and shrug off your blazer.
Hoping you don't wake him up, you gently lay it over him. You tense as the tassel at the end of his tail thumps against the chair. His ears twitch and your heart clenches.
It's adorable, the animal traits. Especially on a handsome guy like that? Well, the gap here was gigantic. Paired with the scar, it gave him a roguish-edge that would make anyone swoon.
Wait a second. A scar? You stop and gasp rather loudly. You quickly slap a hand over your own mouth. His ears twitch and you pray to the great sevens he hasn't woken up.
It's the grouchy guy from the botanical garden! The last time you had seen him he was threatening to bite your face off or something and you hadn't paid attention to his face. Aha! So you were right, all the attractive people here were the worst.
His name was Leona, or so you had assumed. That's what Ruggie had called him that day. Ah, stupid! You knock yourself on the head. If only you had recognized him sooner!
You had met him other times before in the botanical garden again. Your conversations were always awkward with him making sly remarks and implications about mauling you.
Once he was in a better mood though, he made an okay conversational partner. Leona was rather intelligent and sometimes he threw some advice at you when you were doing your homework. Of course, that was because of his weird superiority complex over you.
You never really paid attention to his face though, the first time he had looked at you was intimidating enough. You never asked for his name either. Your mind must've repressed the details of his face in your head.
You hadn't gotten the chance to speak to him again since everything just…happened with Heartslabyul. He had completely slipped your mind as you were reeling from the incident. You felt kind of bad.
You glumly wondered if you could get your blazer back. But then again, you didn't want him to freeze to death. But then again, if you took it from Leona now, you could leave your future nuisance cold. Wait, that was kind of mean. He was kind of friendly and helpful sometimes.
You wish the guys here weren't so complicated but you had to admit, that was their charm. Yes, they were all jerks. You're starting to think Stockholm syndrome is sinking in.
With a sigh, you take a seat and open a book. You sneak a glance at the beastman to find he's still sleeping like a rock. Leona's no longer shivering. I just let him have the jacket because I don't want to risk waking him. You reason to yourself.
You bring your focus back to the book you're currently reading as you try to ignore Leona. Dang it, even when he's not doing anything, he manages to captivate your attention. You huff but keep your eyes on the book.
What feels like about a few minutes later, you lower the book with a sigh. "Oh my great-" You try not to scream.
His lidded emerald eyes bore into you, pinning you still. A tiny amused smile plays at his lips as his . You nearly threw your book at him out of sheer shock.
"You- How long were you awake?" You calm yourself down with deep breaths as you still look at him wide-eyed. "Hm, long enough." Leona makes a low hum, there's still a calm smile on his face.
"That's very specific." You respond. Silence fills the air as you try to hold a staring contest with him. You don't really feel like returning to your book. His green eyes just keep drawing you in. You wonder how deep they go. You might've been imagining it but they were really bright.
"Hm, like what you see?"
Your face turns red as you groan. You drop your head into the table. "No, stop. This is the worst Valentines day." You grumble.
"Tell me about it." You hear him reply, you hate how every time he speaks, your heart skips a beat. You're starting to understand your admirer. "Don't patronize me. You're attractive and cool, you got a bunch of confessions or something." You snap. You're just stating the obvious when you call him that.
"What? There's nothing to be jealous about. Valentines is a day just like any other, where some win and others lose." Leona drawls. "Ugh, yeah. At least there was free food." You mumble, then you remember Ruggie. "Wait no, my food got stolen by that jerk." You scowl.
You're still face down on the table. You notice his tail underneath the table. You watch as it inches closer to you.
"Did you like the candy hearts?"
You freeze. You didn't…nobody but Ace, Deuce and Grim should've known the contents of that pouch. Of course, the only exception would be the-
You shoot up from, just as you feel the tassel of his tail wrap itself around your ankle and pull. You fall forward onto the table, inches away from hitting the wood.
"Wow, what the heck was th-" You shout before you look up. You can feel his breath tickle your face but more importantly, those green eyes. The orange vest meant he was a Savanaclaw student if the animal features weren't already a dead giveaway.
"You…You're Leona Kingscholar, the dorm head of Savanaclaw." You pause.
"That's right. I would've thought you'd figure this out sooner." He snorts softly. Leona looks at you expectantly to continue.
"And…"
"And?"
"You're my secret admirer."
You're this close to banging your hand against the table if it turns out you're completely wrong.
"So, you finally caught me."
You breathe out a giant sigh of relief, leaning back into your seat. "Oh thank the great sevens!" You laugh, wiping tears of joy and relief from the corner of your eyes. You lay back and laugh some more.
"You're…that overjoyed that your secret admirer was me?" Leona looks incredulously at you. You stop to breathe, you realize how weird this probably looks to him. "Uh, um…" You consider his question carefully.
You blink at him blankly as you think. He sighs after a moment. "Ahh, I get it. So, it's a rejection." He grumbles. "No, no, i-it's not like that!" You frantically shook your head.
"I…I accept. You're cool. I want to get to know you better first though? Like, why were you so confident I wouldn't reciprocate?" You raise an eyebrow. To your surprise, a subtle blush somewhat forms on his face as his eyes widened only slightly.
"I don't know if you're really that dense to not notice. Most people don't like me, herbivore." He growls, tail flailing around lazily. "But, Bucchi seems to like you plenty and those Savanaclaw students cared enough to cover up for you." You frown.
"That's because I pay Ruggie and those students fear me too much to say anything." Leona snorts. "Hm…I don't think that's true at all." You sigh,
"You're very intelligent, cool and most of all- You're pretty pretty." You pull a cringe face that immediately gives you secondhand embarrassment…from yourself. Leona seems to think it's dumb because he shoves his hand in your face and pushes you back.
"Ah, okay. I get it." You groan, grabbing his hand off your face. Leona smirks, his fingers intertwining with yours.
Your face turns red, being around this man would do you no good.

PART 1 | PART 2 | PART 3 | PART 4 [!] | PART 5 | PART 6 | END
It's only after third period that you remember it's Valentines day once again. After everything had occurred, the letter and gift had totally slipped your mind. At your desk, you find a handful of dandelions with a note tied to it.
As an apology and because he forced me too, hehe.
Suddenly, it all makes sense. "That guy from earlier! He must've sent these to distract us and pre-planned to steal the sandwiches from us!" You blurt out. "What?" Deuce looks confused. "Yeah, what?" Ace raises an eyebrow.
"Henchman, I think you're being stupid dazo." Grim shrugs. "I'm not! Look, it totally makes sense! Everything goes wrong and then I get flowers and a card apologizing!" You explain quickly.
"Yeah, but there's no way that guy could've guessed we would get the sandwiches unless…" Deuce stops, lowering his voice to a whisper, "Unless he was eavesdropping."
"You think he's stalking us? That's how he knew where I sat and everything!" You excitedly whisper. It was the exhilaration of figuring something out. "But why target you specifically? I mean, you really don't have a lot going for you." Ace stares you up and down. You roll your eyes. "That's exactly it. I'm the magicless one here. I can't do anything to retaliate." You grumble, you've long come to terms with your position here.
You weren't going to lay down and just take it though. A chill goes up your spine.
You whip your head toward the classroom window. There's nobody…nothing there. "Fygaa! Di-Did'ya see something there dazo!?" Grim yelps upon seeing you suddenly turn. Deuce cautiously approaches the window and looks out.
"Um, there's nobody out here…"
Ace peeks his head out, "Hey, if there's somebody there, you better not be stalking the prefect! They're really dull and boring and it's not gonna be fun for you!"
"Hey!"
You go back to pick up the dandelions. What a strange choice of flowers. They didn't particularly strike you as romantic flowers but you guess there was that myth of blowing on dandelions to make wishes.
"Ah, wait…" Your eyes widen as you spot another letter nestled within the dandelions. "Oh, what is it?" Deuce looks over your shoulder. "Another threat dazo!" Grim exclaims.
As you unfold it, you realize it's way longer than the first one that had simply two words.
Good day, You're so annoying.
"What a great starter." Ace snorts. "Shut up, I'm trying to read." Deuce hushes him with a glare as he urges you to continue.
"Wait, you can read?"
"What's that supposed to mean!?"
You ignore them as all three of them get into an argument behind you. Your eyes are locked onto the words.
Traditions suggest that I'm supposed to be sending romantic gestures on February the 14th. If you knew who I was, I doubt you'd want to reciprocate anything. I don't care if you reciprocate or don't.
I know I'll never be the one you love most, and that's fine. It'd be ridiculous of me to assume that. Spending time with you is enough for me to deal with. I really dislike you for making me put in this much effort right now. I don't like the way you speak and laugh, it makes me feel irritated.
I get this feeling in my chest and I'm really hoping it's heart arrhythmia or a heart attack. It's only whenever I'm around you, you really are too dangerous to be around.
You let out a little laugh at this. You've gained your first substantial clue. You must've talked to them before. Maybe that's why you had a sense that you had met that beastman before.
Besides that, you should actually be careful. That weirdo probably caught wind of this and is probably watching you.
Now this makes you concerned. You had been feeling watched the whole time but every time you checked, there was nothing.
Seriously, why was this Valentines shaping up to be a horror instead of something romantic?
I'm not apologizing for putting you on his radar. You probably already had his interest since you're so bizarre. It's your fault for catching my attention, of all people, anyway.
You scoff. You didn't ask to get stalked. Why were guys at Night Raven College like this?
Yours Truly,
That's where it ends. No signature, no name. Nothing to really identify who had sent this.
That beastman from earlier didn't seem like a person who would write like this, but you couldn't tell from one (possibly two) encounters.
Maybe you should just catch that beastman and ask him yourself. Yes, that's it!
"Let's catch that food thief." You declare. They all turn to you.
"What?"
"Nyahaha! Let's make him pay dazo!"
"Uh, but how do we do that…?" Deuce rightfully asks. You blink. "Uh, we can start by asking around." You suggest. "Honestly, this sounds like such a stupid idea." Ace scoffs.
"But I'm in." He smirks.
-
Cater was scrolling through his phone, on his way to his next class, when you and Grim jumped in front of him.
"Cater!"
"Whoa!" He laughs, seemingly out of shock.
Behind him, Ace and Deuce spring out. Cater turns around with a smile on his face.
"It's nice to see you guys again. How has your Valentines day been?" Cater waves casually. "This is fine. Everything's fine." You send him a shaky thumbs-up. "Uhh, what's up? You okay? You having love troubles or something, hm?" He teasingly asks.
"Yeah…" You mutter, you're not focused on the current conversation.
"But that's not the big issue! Some furry stole our food dazo!"
Cater chokes. "D-Don't say that, Gri! You're totally going to get cancelled for that…the term is beastmen." He quickly splutters, looking around sheepishly. "Yeah, yeah." Ace rolls his eyes.
"Uh, Cater, we actually came to ask you for your help since you know a lot of people." Deuce speaks up, reminding you all the reason you had surrounded him in the first place. "Oh? My little underclassmen are coming to me for help! Don't worry, you can rely on your super dependable Cay!" He practically squeals.
"Agh, now you've made it weird. We should go ask Trey, c'mon." Ace groans, looking embarrassed. "No way! Come on, just ask me. I can help out!" Cater insists with a pout. You wonder if this is a ploy by Ace to get Cater to agree to helping because it seems like it's working.
"Henchman? Yoohoo. Are ya there dazo?" Grim must've hopped onto your shoulders while you were distracted. "Is that the guy you're looking for?" Cater asks curiously. He was behind you, trying to follow your line of sight.
Outside, there's a field. Crouched among them is a familiar head of dark blonde hair and a large pair of fluffy animal ears. "Hm, he looks like second year Ruggie Bucchi from 2-B. From his animal features, you probably already guessed he's in Savanaclaw and you'd be right! I think he's actually a hyena beastman." Cater cheerfully gives you a short description of him.
You run outside. "Fygaa! Henchman, where are you going dazo?!" Grim tumbles off your shoulder, you already know he'll land on his feet. Their shouts grow further as you exit the building.
Their voices grow further as you exit the building. You gasp.
You run into the field and you gasp. You weren't hallucinating. That was definitely a cute tail! Oh yeah, and that food thief.
You weren't hallucinating. That was definitely a cute tail! Oh yeah, and that food thief.

PART 1 | PART 2 | PART 3 [!] | PART 4 | PART 5 | PART 6 | END
SUMMARY: To get Ace and Deuce to complete the favor, you must engage in cafeteria warfare to secure deluxe menchi katsu sandwiches! You also meet a mischievous beastman.
Would you really do this much just to get Ace and Deuce to watch Grim? Well, you admit your ulterior motive to agreeing to this was to try out the deluxe menchi katsu sandwich.
You really doubt you'll get the chance to try out some new foods ever again. Not until the far, far future in which you finally earn some madol. You'd been living off of Crowley's free lunch pass this whole time. You really have to bring up pay at some point with him.
"Go!" You shout as you race forward, holding a tray above your head. Ace and Deuce had gone around throwing a few pieces of food or messing with people's trays and had already incited this chaos.
Of course, nobody knew it was them specifically with so many people around. They had started an all-out food fight.
Grim incinerates any food that comes near you with a small puff of blue flames. You catch him also swallowing the incoming food sometimes. He balances precariously on your shoulders. You slip through the disrupted line and finally, you make your way to the front of the queue while everyone is distracted.
There, you secure a few deluxe menchi katsu sandwiches with the money Ace and Deuce loaned together. You also get an egg salad sandwich.
You hold them close to your chest, hiding them in your blazer. You're sure if you get caught with these, you were going to get jumped by several people.
You carefully slip through the crowd until you're near the exit. There you spot familiar green hair and glasses. "Trey! Thanks for the chocolates! Happy Valentines!" You wave at him. Trey notices you for sure and waves back.
"[Name], are you alright?" He asks, looking a bit concerned. "Yep, Grim's been protecting me." You nodded. "Nyahahaha, I'll eat everything they throw at me dazo!" Grim smirks.
"Oh? And where's Ace and Deuce? Did they start this?" Trey smiles, looking amused. "What? No, I was with them when it started. But then I lost them in the crowd after everything uh, happened." You lie casually.
You can feel him scrutinizing you briefly but he relents in the end. You let out a quiet sigh of relief. "Do be careful. Have a happy Valentines day, [Name]." Trey nods with a smile. "You too!" You yell, "Grim!"
"Nyahaha! Leave this to me dazo!" He hops onto the top of the tray you're holding, now above the crowd, he begins blasting fire to stop the incoming food from hitting you. You open the door and quickly flee the chaos. That should've been the signal for Ace and Deuce to leave as well.
You get out of there and lean against a wall, taking a break. "Uwah, I can smell it from here dazo! Gimme!" Grim grins, he paws at your blazer where the sandwiches are. "Here you go." You pass him the packaged sandwich.
"Ah crap. I completely missed the lunch time free-for-all. The deluxe menchi katsu sandwich Leona wanted is already sold out." A beastman with dark blonde hair and large animal ears walks out the cafeteria with a sigh. You squint at him, he looked…had you met him before?
There was no way, you really don't remember meeting any guy with adorable, fluffy ears! Plus, his face was cute. Okay, sue you for liking guys with cute animal ears and maybe a tail. You don't spot a tail on this guy though. If you think about it, they were just like catboys.
You stop that thought before it can go further. If you want to survive, you can't just approach danger like this! The above average guys here were the worst.
Your friends were definitely attractive in your world's standards. However, in Twisted Wonderland, this seemed to be the norm. Your friends also happen to all be troublemakers, even though some are less obvious.
Therefore, it was best you steered clear of this guy completely. You get up and begin walking away. Grim is too busy munching on the sandwich to question you, he only follows after you, sandwich in hand, "Nyahaha! The taste of victory, I'll take my time savoring it!"
"Hey, you. Is that a deluxe menchi katsu sandwich?" The boy approaches, spotting you two. Grim, why! You panic. "No, what's that?" You turn around with a curious expression. If you ran, you'd end up looking suspicious and you doubt you could outrun a beastman.
He sniffs the air. Oh god, he could smell them on you. The beastman stares at your chest. "Hey, my eyes are up here." You glare at him. He raises an eyebrow. "Shishi, I didn't mean to! Not that there's anything to see here." He smiles at you with a mock cheerfulness.
You deadpan at him as he laughs. You watch as his gaze turns to Grim. "The deluxe menchi katsu sandwich is the sandwich your familiar is holding right now." He gestures toward him, staring at you with an amused look. "Hey! Who are you calling their familiar dazo?!" Grim snarls. You don't like this.
"That's pretty great, y'know? You got your hands on a deluxe menchi katsu sandwich, huh." He grins at Grim. "Huh? What's it to you?" He shot him a wary look.
"I have to get that sandwich no matter what, but they sold out right in front of me. So, I have a proposition." The beastman pouts, his ears tilting downwards, "Could you trade me that deluxe menchi katsu sandwich for my mini bean paste bread?"
You clench your fists, you must stay strong and resist. "Huh!? No way in hell dazo!" Grim scowls, "We fought for those!"
You've never been so thankful for this stupid cat. "Now, now, don't say that." He smiles, "...Here you are."
It's as if some will comes over you, your hand reaches into your blazer and you pull out a deluxe menchi katsu sandwich as he does the same, pulling out a mini bean paste bread.
"Fgyaa!? Henchman, don't give it to him dazo!" Grim gapes, looking betrayed. "My arms and legs are moving on their own! I'm not doing this!" You shout, trying to stop your limbs as you walk closer to him.
You switch items with him, horrified to see the mini bean paste bread in your traitorous hands.
"[Name]! What are you doing!?" You can't even turn your head but you can see Ace and Deuce racing toward you in your peripheral. "Negotiations complete. Shishishi! Thanks for being kind enough to trade me! That mini bean paste bread is just as good." He begins backing away as you test your fingers.
"It being tiny is a defect. Thanks and bye-bye!" He waves and runs off with a smirk. "No!" You cry after him, chasing him. He's too fast as you expected though you chase him down a few hallways before he jumps out a literal open window.
You bitterly hope he broke his legs or something down there. "Wh-Why in the great sevens would you give away the sandwich?!" Ace pants, running after you. You're all in a random classroom now. You slump against the wall, defeated.
"I didn't! He must have some sort of magic that takes over your body or something!" You yell, frustratedly waving your hands around. "F-F-Fgyaaa! My deluxe menchi katsu sandwich!" Grim whines. "It could be his unique magic but still…ugh!" Deuce growls, he looks like he's about to punch the wall and you can't say you don't feel the same.
"Oh I see, you just kinda went along with it. That happens sometimes." Ace hums in understanding. "No, that's not it all! I can't explain your stupid magic stuff!" You glare at him. "Geez, no need to get mad at me. I'm not the one who gave away the sandwich." He rolls his eyes.
You rip a bite from the mini bean paste bread with a scowl, "It should be totally illegal to have magic that overrides free will!"
"I don't think there's any rule against that."
"Seriously?!"
You completely forget about the letter and card as you all sulk in the empty classroom.
-
"Leona, I'm back with lunch." Ruggie calls out, dangling the packaged sandwich in one hand and holding an ice tea in the other. He nudges aside branches and leaves as he makes his way through the botanical garden.
"Hnh, already afternoon?" In a small clearing lies a handsome beastman with brown locks and braids. His tail with a tassel at the end sways lazily as his animal ears twitch under the warm sun.
"Were you by chance sleeping here all morning? You're gonna fail another class." Ruggie sighs, handing off the sandwich and ice tea to Leona. He peeks inside the package and shakes it around a little.
"Seems like you got what I…" Leona pauses suddenly with a frown as he sniffs again, "Where did you get this?"
"Ughh, Leona, you always want the stuff that's the most competitive. It was already sold out when I got there so I 'negotiated' with a random student." Ruggie explains, exasperated.
"Which student? What dorm did they belong to?"
He raises an eyebrow. He really wasn't sure why the usually apathetic Leona cared so much. Still, he racks his brain to recall.
"Oh, it's the student you kept getting me to secretly deliver stuff to and to find out where they sat, I think!" Ruggie snaps in realization. He suddenly stares at Leona, a look of surprise and confusion painted clearly.
"Ah, wait…it's because you have a…um, on them, right?"

PART 1 | PART 2 [!] | PART 3 | PART 4 | PART 5 | PART 6 | END
SUMMARY: You think about the identity of your possible...admirer. Or is this all a cruel prank? You best keep your guard up at NRC after all!
"Food dazo!" Grim cheerfully leapt forward. He hops onto your desk, tail swaying as he picks up a pouch.
"Uh…" You could only mumble. You weren't quite sure what to do with this information. Was somebody threatening you by sending you these ominous letters or…? Nope, it was a good idea to just shut down that idea completely. Falling for any of the pretty boys here was going to be a bad idea. One that you'd regret so badly.
You really couldn't help yourself though.
"Open it, open it!" Ace urges him excitedly. Grim pulls open the pouch. "Hearts…?" Deuce looks from above, confused. "Haha, somebody's got a secret crush on you!" The red head begins laughing even harder.
"Candy! Don't mind if I do dazo!" Grim pops one in his mouth. "What if it was poisoned, Grim? You can't just put random stuff in your mouth!" You scold him, taking the pouch from him. "Fygaa! You think it's poisoned?! Ack-" Grim's eyes widened in disgust as he tries to cough it out. You try to help to no avail and he simply swallows it.
"Tastes pretty good dazo!"
"Candy hearts for the prefect? I think someone has a little crush on them!" Ace teasingly comments. "Shut up, do we really need everyone to know?" You huff, a blush slightly creeps up your face. It's embarrassing! What did the gifter think they were doing?
You look around the class to stare down any eavesdroppers. As soon as they realized you were looking at them, they quickly looked away. Huh. Usually, they'd snicker in response. They didn't have the decency to even pretend they weren't listening because they knew. What could you even do against them?
Either they finally realized your might or it was the person behind the letter and candy. You don't know if the thought relieved you or just made you more wary of the gifter.
"Hey, you. Did you see who put this here?" You decide to ask a classmate. He's a Savanaclaw member and it's obvious even without the arm band.
He looks like a deer caught in the light for a while before his expression snaps into a glare. "No, I don't have to say anything!" He growls at you. You blink and just turn around.
Your other classmates look jittery and nervous as they try to look anywhere but you.
"Is it just me or is the class acting strange?" Deuce whispers. "I bet they know something about this but we're threatened to keep hush. Ooh, what if your admirer is someone powerful?" Ace theorizes with a grin. "As long as they give me food, they can have [Name] dazo." Grim nodded.
"Grim! I can't believe you'd sell me out like that! If someone gave me stable living conditions and some love, I'd leave you too!" You gasp, pretending to be offended.
You are sweating bullets. You hope Ace isn't right. He's usually not right anyway, right? You reassure yourself.
"Puppies, settle down! Class is starting." With professor Crewel's entrance, everyone quickly takes a seat and the room falls silent. During his lesson, you play with the strings of the pouch in your pocket.
You try to imagine who this admirer could be. Was it somebody you knew? If it wasn't, was this some cruel prank? And if it isn't a prank…there's a certain charm to a random stranger falling in love with you.
Would he be as bold as Ace? As compassionate as Deuce? As cheerful as Cater? Maybe perhaps as strict as Riddle or even as caring as Trey?
You just hoped this admirer didn't have the worst traits of them all. Knowing your luck, they really might. You racked your head, trying to think of more possibilities as to who this could be. You didn't really think it was in line with what you knew them to be to do this.
By the time you start focusing on the lesson again, it's already over. You blink and shake your head. Oh no, you hope you didn't miss anything important. You'd just ask Ace or Deuce later.
You head to your next period after that. It isn't until lunch that you finally get the chance to read that card. It's simplistic but you get the feeling it's quite expensive. You're so confused.
You pass Grim the pouch of candy hearts after you check if it's poisoned or cursed. He munches on them while you all walk to the cafeteria. The halls are weirdly devoid of students, only a few students still loitering around. It made sense since it was lunch time but there tended to be more people outside.
"Ugh, I'm going to get mugged or something while walking home today." You groan. "Don't worry, the Great Grim will protect his henchman dazo!" Grim proclaims proudly with a grin. You smile. "Do you need me to walk you home, [Name]?" Deuce asks, cracking his knuckles with a dark look. "You triggered his bad boy switch." Ace accuses you with a frown.
"Knock it off, you jerk-"
"It's okay, I'll be studying in the library after school anyway. You guys can watch Grim for me, right?"
"Oh, su-" Ace claps a hand over his mouth, leaning forward. Upon seeing his eager face, you sigh and roll your eyes.
"What do you want?"
"So, I heard today there's this super popular bakery in town that comes to promote themselves once every month." Somehow you already have a bad feeling of where this was going.
"Ah, I remember Cater mentioning that! They sell our real quick, right? I saw the picture of the egg salad sandwich he posted." Deuce adds excitedly, pulling Ace's hand away from him.
"So?"
"Get us the deluxe menchi katsu sandwich!"

PART 1 [!] | PART 2 | PART 3 | PART 4 | PART 5 | PART 6 | END
SUMMARY: You receive unsigned letters on Valentines Day. They might be love letters but at Night Raven College, you can never tell. A.K.A Leona Kingscholar is bad at love letters.
You open the door, the whole building shakes a little. You're unfazed to the shakiness of Ramshackle at this point.
You were about to take a step forward when you noticed a letter on your doorstep. You pick it up curiously and you're about to open it when…you shove it in your pocket.
"Grim, hurry up! Let's go!" You shout, beginning to briskly walk to the gates. No way, this was NRC. You wouldn't open this in front of Ramshackle. Knowing the guys here, it could totally be a prank and having Ramshackle be blown up would be inconvenient.
"Fygaa, got it, got it! Stop rushing me dazo!" Grim grumbles, bounding after you. He walks besides your heels as he scratches at the choker.
You can't help but feel a little dread in your stomach as you approach the main street. After all, it's February 14th.
Valentines day.
Upon showing up in Twisted Wonderland and meeting some of the guys at NRC, you knew you were doomed to be alone on this day from the very start. As attractive as some of the guys were, they were also absolute brats and no way would they ever be interested in you.
Perfect was just a title. You are just some magicless human.
Considering NRC was an all-boys school, it wouldn't be strange to maybe see a few gay couples. But if you factor in the environment… You doubt anyone here would partake in what they'd consider to be 'mushy behavior'.
You take a deep breath and enter the main street. You blink. Everything is decorated with hearts and pink. It looks like Heartslabyul vomited everywhere.
"It's really tacky, isn't it, [Name]?" An arm is suddenly on your shoulders as a weight leans down on you. "Did Heartslabyul decorate?" You asked Ace curiously.
"Yeah, we spent all morning and yesterday decorating. Cater probably posted all those pictures already on his magicam…" Deuce sighed. "Did Ace give you any chocolates?" You suddenly ask.
"What?" He looks confused while Ace is frantically shaking his head. "No way! Why would I ever give this idiot chocolates?! I-I don't like him like that!" He screeches, face red. "Oho! So you admit you like him? Are you finally accepting the fact that you're perhaps…good pals?!" You snicker loudly upon catching him.
"Nyahaha! Your face is so red dazo!" Grim joins in, laughing at the duo. "Ugh, shut up, you stupid cat! You can't even eat chocolate!" Ace scowls.
"Oi, who're you calling a cat dazo?!"
"Oh, speaking of chocolates!" Deuce snaps, the topic having easily flown past him. "Trey wanted us to give this to you for him." He went through his blazer pocket, taking out a little box.
You take it from him and shake it curiously. It sounds like their are tiny items inside. Sweets from the baker no doubt. "Nice, thank him for me if you see him." You smile, pocketing the gift along with the letter.
"Ooh! Food! Was that food dazo?! I want it!" Grim perks up at the smell. "It's for later. Maybe if you behave, I'll give you one." You hope it isn't chocolate for Grim's sake.
"Oh, henchman! What was that letter earlier by the way dazo?" You deadpanned. Grim had seen it earlier? You brace yourself with a sigh.
"Aha! What is this?! The perfect got a love letter, hm?" Ace smirks. "Whoa, so does that mean a student on campus likes you?" Deuce gasps.
"I guess I can open it now. I really doubt anyone does." You shrug. If it blows up in your face, you're blaming Ace for it. They hold their breaths in anticipation as you open the letter.
It simply says in neat handwriting,
Be prepared.
You gulp. You wait. It does not blow up. "That's…Is that a threat?" Deuce frowns. "Fygaa?! What d'they think they're doing threatening my henchman dazo?!" Grim growls.
"Bahaha! No guy would ever write a love letter to you!" Ace bursts into laughter.
"No one even sent any chocolates to you, Ace!"
"No, Trey actually made us chocolates too!"
You argue the rest of the way until you make it to class. You freeze upon entering the classroom. There, right there.
On your desk is another card. Ace bursts into more laughter while Deuce looks mildly concerned.
"Is somebody following you…?"

If you see it posted anywhere or by anyone else, it's not me.
Hi hi I read your rules and I couldn't see if you were doing reqs or not so if your not just ignore this! :] /gen
Could I perhaps ask something with Leona or Ruggie? Reader is just very tired from NRC's usual craziness and wants to go to one of them as a recharge.
Gn!reader please and thank you :))
hiii nonie!! sorry for the long wait 😭 as mentioned in this other request, I do take them, it just takes me a while to get to it! I hope you like it 🫶
Summary: Leona and Ruggie with a tired reader that wants to recharge!
Notes: gn!reader, fluff, I did short scenarios since there wasn't a specified format, I guess their relationship is kind open to interpretation? they could either be dating or close friends, you chose!
You were exhausted. Seriously, after having to deal with NRC students' antics for days on end, babysit Grim, Ace and Deuce, do Crowley's chores and study for subjects you've never even heard of some months ago, you felt like you were at your wits end.
Leona
Eyes dropping and body tired, you just wanted to rest for a bit, maybe take a nap to recharge your energy. You really felt like you were about to drop on spot if you had to do one more thing without getting some sleep in first.
That's why you found yourself at the botanical garden in the middle of the day. After leaving Grim with your friends and trusting them to take care of him (may the Sevens have mercy on NRC), you've wandered to a place you knew would be quiet enough that nobody would disturb you.
Not only that, but you were also looking for someone. Scanning the temperate zone, you perk up a bit once you spot the figure of Savanaclaw's housewarden lazily dozing off on a sunny spot.
Quick steps approach him, stopping in their tracks once you're right in front of him. You kneel down, waiting for his deep rumble as he lazily opens one eye to peek at you
"It's you, herbivore. What do you want?"
His blunt words may sound rude, but you knew he didn't mean any harm by it. Instead of answering him, you silently worm your way into his arms, nuzzling your face against his neck.
If it where anyone else, they would have been sent to the infirmary in the blink of an eye, although no one else had the courage to do what you just did. Since it is you, Leona only lets out an amused chuckle and wraps his arms around your body, head resting on the top of yours.
"The brats are giving you trouble, hm?"
Your groan is confirmation enough for him, making him let out a huff of laughter.
"Then lets forget them for now. You can stay as long as you don't stir too much, I want to be able to sleep too, you know."
A prolonged hum is his only answer, your drowsiness taking over as your eyelids feel heavier and heavier. The warmth of his body, the comfort of his arms securing you, the smell of his faint cologne and the nature around you, the sound of his calm breathing and the little river running nearby, the feeling of being safe all allowed you to relax for the first time in weeks.
In less than a minute you were already sleeping, little huffs of breath ghosting over his skin, the rise and fall of your chest accompanying his own. Leona's tail swished from side to side, pleased with your company, even if he wouldn't admit to it.
He wouldn't let anyone disturb your sleep, enjoying this moment between the two of you for as long as he could. If you end up waking up hours later than you intended to, he'll just shrug and tell you he was sleeping too. Besides, you needed the extra rest, so you better thank him.
Leona isn't the best with words of comfort, hence his actions will speak louder. He tends to pay attention to you, more than you'd think, so if he sees you're getting too tired again, he might subtly suggest another nap. He'll make sure you'll be able to get all the rest you might need, as nobody would dare to disturb him and, by extension, you.
Ruggie
Your shoulders sagged and you dragged your feet through the floor, the fatigue catching up to you after a handful of stressful days. All the responsabilities that were throw your way and your concern of whether you'd be able to go back to your home, your world, were taking their toll on you.
The thing you needed the most was somewhere to rest, both your mind and body. You've been wanting to spend some time with Ruggie, as you two were very close and you guessed he also could take a break, but he's always busy, running errands for Leona and taking on side jobs.
You sigh dejectedly as you open the door of Ramshackle, preparing yourself to try to actually get some hours of sleep instead of tossing and turning around the bed, mulling over your troubles.
"Welcome!"
Jumping in surprise, you lift your head to see Ruggie laughing at your reaction, his giggles making his shoulders shake in mirth, tail swishing back and forth.
"Oh, you had to see your face! Weren't you expecting to see me here?"
You stutter something, so jumbled not even you could understand, and he only laughs harder, hand covering his mouth in a signature gesture.
"Sorry, sorry, I couldn't resist it. You looked so cute, like a scared rabbit." It's clear he isn't sorry at all, the grin on his face being proof enough. Though you don't get mad at his antics. In fact, they even made you feel a bit better, a small smile gracing your face in return as you gently shake your head
Gesturing to the couch, you make yourselves comfortable. Leaning onto Ruggie, you let the weight of your preoccupations wash away from you, focusing on how the touch of his side against yours feels grounding, how his arm wrapped around you and hand rubbing circles on your skin feels soothing, how you're finally able to relax.
"Sorry, I know I've been too busy lately, but you know I'll always find time for you, right?" Gazing at him, you can tell he's genuine this time, the sincerity in his tone and expression reassuring you. You nod and let out a hum, closing your eyes and letting your head rest against his shoulder.
Ruggie laughes affectionately, head resting against yours. One of your hands finds his hair and starts playing with it, you mumble a request: "Tell me about your day."
Ruggie's voice is quiet as he tells you what happened in his classes that day, what ridiculous tasks Leona had given him, what trouble the Savanaclaw students got into, and so on. His voice lulls you into relaxation, your breath slowing.
Soon enough, both are making use of this moment of quietness and peace in your usual hectic lives, recharging your energies.
As someone who tends to overwork himself as well, Ruggie knows how to recognize when you're in need for a break. If he notices more prominent eyebags or sluggish movements coming from you, he'll do his best to make sure you can relax for a moment and reassure your worries. You do the same for him, after all, you take care of each other.
Masterlist
Summary: Crowley insists you join one of the school's clubs, even though your schedule is already full. Having no other choice, you oblige, on one condition: you'll attend a meeting of each club before deciding which one you'll join. As expected, shenanigans ensue.
Notes: gn!reader, humor, it's kinda long, reader is oblivious, mentions of minor injuries but in a funny way dw, I had to research about horse management and now you'll know about it too
Part: 1 (you're here!) / 2.0 / 2.5 (soon!)
"Do I really have to do this? Isn't it enough that I already am your unnoficial errand runner, Grim's babysitter, Ramshackle's prefect and have to deal with an overblot a month on top of whatever insanity the students decide to put me through while I try to keep my grades up to not lose my scholarship?"
You really hoped he would listen to reason, after all, you already have way more than enough on your plate. As it is, he obviously didn't hear to a word you said. How unfortunate.
"Of course it's most crucial you participate in a club! As a model educator, I must set an example for my peers. How would it look if one of my students didn't partake in such an important school activity?"
Crowley looks agravated by the mere idea. You deadpan at him. He stares back at you. Grim snoozes in the background.
"Well, which one will it be?"
You sigh, as if the weight of the world was in your shoulders.
"...Can I see the list, at least?"
Crowley smiles, his whole demeanor changing as soon as he got what he wanted. You brace yourself for what is to come, knowing it will be a headache.
After taking a look at your options, you decide to go in one meeting of each before choosing one to join. You could just randomly pick one and be done with it, but since you're already being forced to do this, you should do something you enjoy.
The headmaster gives you a genial smile and agrees on your conditions, telling you how kind he is for doing so and how it will be great for your education. You glare at him, defeated.
Better start sooner than later, right?
Spelldrive Club (Leona, Ruggie, Epel)
Good news, you've played spelldrive before, so you're not entirely lost!
You keep that in mind as you arrive at the field. It's pretty intimidating, with most of the players being thugs from Savanaclaw that look like they could fold you in half like a twig. You scurry to Epel's side.
He's surprised you decided to participate in a meeting, but really happy as well since it's a chance to show off his manliness to you. You chat for a bit as you wait for Leona, the captain, to arrive. Ruggie eventually joins you both, cracking some joke about your unexpected attendance and having a new member on the team.
Once Leona arrives, he looks just as grumpy as usual, but his ears are perked up and he's scanning the field as if looking for something. And it seems he finds it once his eyes land on you, leading him to your little group's direction.
Crowley had the decency of telling him in advance about your test drive of the club, but Leona warns you he won't allow you to slack off just because it's your first day. You're surprised he even bothered to tell you this, as you imagined he would be as unenthusiastic as he is about his normal classes. It seems he has high expectations for you. Epel and Ruggie look startled as well, but wisely keep their mouths shut.
Everyone did light stretchs and got their brooms, ready to play. It was... intense. You already expected it from what little experience you had from the tornament, not to mention that by being magicless you had a limited range of moves you could pull, but it seemed Leona was a strict leader when it came to the sport.
That, or he wanted to show off today for some reason. According to one of Epel's snide remarks, Leona is usually more laid back than he was being. You couldn't help but worry it had something to do with you, so you kept your head low and tried to follow the best you could, least he screamed at you as well. Besides, his complaints did sound reasonable, even if he was blunt and kind of rude about them, so it was good he was so motivated!
And he wasn't the only one. Epel was giving his all, pulling stunts left and right to get points. You were amazed by his ability, since you've never seen him play before, you had no idea he was this good! Your gaze would wander to wherever he was and you could swear you felt him staring back sometimes, though he turned his head away too fast for you to confirm it.
Even so, he wasn't safe from blundering his play eventually. After marking a point, he turned in your direction, confident that you've been watching, chest puffed out proudly. Only to be met with your panicked look as you tried to signal for him to look behind. One of the players from Savanaclaw shoved him then, almost dropping him from his broom. Luckly, Epel managed to catch himself just in time to avoid an accident, making you sigh relieved, your clammy hands readjusting their grip on your own broom, heart beating wildly on your chest. Leona screamed at both of you for being distracted, but he glared harder at Epel.
Ruggie was another one set on impressing you with his techniques, doing dangerous tricks on his broom while in midair. You knew he was very good, he was the one you went against on the first time you played, after all, but still cheered on his tricks. His cheeky smile stayed firm on his face, growing at every compliment you threw his way. His tail was wagging behind him, but you didn't have to know that.
The thing is, if he started to pay too much attention on you to gauge your reactions, he got distracted from the game going on around him. On more than one occasion he was almost throw out while dangling on his broom with only his feet, somehow managing to get his balance back everytime. Leona looked ready to burst a blood vessel when it happened, you had a feeling he was going to be extra annoying to Ruggie for the rest of the week.
All in all, you couldn't do much, so you stayed at the sidelines watching your friends play. You were sweating all over, the scorching sun shining above you. Did you remember to use sunscreen? You closed your eyes and took one arm off your broom to wipe out some sweat from your brow, distracted. You were pretty tired. The shouting went on at the background. You had the impression your friends were calling your name. As soon as you were going to turn to their direction and see what it was that they wanted, everything went black and you lost consciousness.
You woke up at the infirmary, having a feeling of deja vu. Why whenever you tried to play spelldrive something had to happen? Epel, Ruggie and Leona were by your bedside, looking worried, upset or annoyed. They explained a disk went out of course and ended up hitting you at the back of your head, causing you to pass out.
Ruggie proudly announced he was the first one to react and caught you just in time, before you hit the ground. Epel added that he helped Ruggie bring you to the infirmary and that Leona went off on everyone at the field for not catching the damned disk. Leona just huffed and pretended to not care, but you could tell he did just from how he stayed waiting for you to wake up.
As sweet as that little moment was, you didn't want a repeat of what happened and felt spelldrive wasn't really for you. Time to check out other clubs.
(Epel excitedly asks for you to come and watch another pratice some time. Ruggie backs him up and pulls his puppy eyes on you. Leona looks like he would like that as well but stays silent, staring at you expectantly, ears perked up. You end up agreeing, not wanting to crush their enthusiasm. It seems they really enjoyed having you over. Not sure if the rest of the team could say the same, but a glare from Leona will shut them up if they dare to bother you.)
Equestrian Club (Riddle, Silver, Sebek)
There were horses on campus!? How come you never met one before? Time to rectify that!
You couldn't remember if you ever rode a horse before or not. Well, surely everything would turn out alright, since some of the most responsible people were on this club. Surely.
Riddle was the one that greeted you and showed you around the stables. There was a huge area dedicated to them, with all the horses having their own section and a fenced space reserved for riding them. They were all very well taken care of, as Riddle made sure to tell you about some of his duties as a member of the club. He even took you to meet his horse and taught you how to pet it!
You also met Sebek and Silver tending to their horses and talked with them a bit. Sebek expressed his diligence as always, talking loudly about his passion for the sport and how he would definitly make his Lord proud of his work. Silver was less overwhelming and seemed gentler surrounded by animals like that, as he told you softly that he was glad you showed interest in their club and how he hoped you'd enjoy it.
After such a warm welcome, you had your hopes high for this club! (Especially after what happened at spelldrive pratice). It didn't involve any magic either, so you could do everything just fine. All was well, until you were assigned a horse to tend for the day.
There was only one horse available, so you didn't have much of a choice, really. It was a beautiful white horse that truly looked straight out of a fairytale, with it's elegant aura and thick mane. If only it's temper could match it's appearence. It was one of the most petulant equines you've ever seen. It took a while for it to even let you get closer without trying to bite your hand off.
Silver said it still didn't have a name and Riddle told you that since you were it's handler for the day, you should name it. You decided to name it Maximus. Sebek liked the name, loudly approving it. Maximus seemed pretty content as well, so you patted yourself on the back for scoring one point with him.
The first thing you were going to do before actually riding him was to groom him. You decided to watch how your friends did it and mimick their actions. Riddle handed you a bucket with different brushes that you had no idea what should be used for. Sebek secured Maximus for you, saying it was to make sure he wouldn't move around while you tried to take care of him. Silver helped you two get acquainted, making sure you knew basic safety instructions.
You grab a round rubber comb, watching Riddle rub circles on his horse's side with a firm hold. Starting on Maximus' left side, you hesitantly bring the comb in contact with his fur, watching as he gives you a nasty side eye. You weakly start your sweeps, careful to not hurt him or press on a tender spot. Riddle tells you to use more pressure in order to remove the dirt from his coat. You increase your strenght as he nods approvingly. Just as he's about to turn back to his own work, he sees you sliding the brush down Maximus' shoulders and to his legs, his tail swishing in warning. He manages to pull you back just in time before Maximus closes his jaw where your hand was mere moments ago. Your arm trembles and your eyes are wide as he explains which areas are sensitive and that you'd better avoid them.
After using a stiff brush that reminded you of a broom to knock out the dirt you had loosened, being extra careful on the areas Riddle mentioned, you grab a soft brush. You feel dread pool on your stomach as you watch Silver kneel down to tend to his horse's legs. You stare at Maximus, hoping he would let you do the same, but you swear his expression is one that says 'I dare you to try and see what happens'. You gulp but still get down to it, better get it done as soon as possible. The front legs go swimmingly, the back ones not so much. As you're almost getting finished you accidently press on a sore spot. Maximus loudly neighs, stamps his foot and raises his knee, causing you to fall on your behind, surprised and very much still in hitting range. You were pretty sure that was it, you were going to infirmary again with the worst concussion ever known to man. Thankfully, Silver had noticed it just in time to drag you away, holding you by your armpits like a misbehaving kitten. Your knees feel weak, so you stay on the ground with a racing heart as you watch Silver calm Maximus down.
The next step was to clean Maximus' hooves. Anyone with half a brain cell could sense it was a bad idea to leave you to it, so you stayed back while Sebek did the cleaning. He didn't to it quietly though, he made sure to shout every step so you'd learn how to do it at a later date. You couldn't even find it in yourself to be mad at his condescending tone, too grateful for him helping you out. You thank him sincerely as he pauses mid rant. He stares at you with his mouth open, as if he had short circuited. Sebek stays strangely quiet for the next few minutes, not making eye contact with you but trying to steal glances your way without you noticing. Maximus huffs and it sounds mocking, somehow.
To finish it up, you comb Maximus' mane, untangling it carefully, finding it surprisingly relaxing and by far the best part of this whole thing. When brushing his tail, you make sure to stand by his side, not behind, to avoid almost being kicked again. You look proudly at your work as Maximus flaunts himself. Riddle, Silver and Sebek compliment your efforts, making you smile sincerely despite being pretty sure Maximus hates your guts and has cursed your entire bloodline in his mind.
Finally, the time has come. You're going to actually ride the horse now!
That is, if you manage to mount it first.
You try to mount Maximus' by his right side, but he doesn't budge. Plus, he's too tall for you to reach properly. He stares at you. You're sure he's laughing at your misery. Silver, bless him, comes to your aid. He hands you a safety helmet and calmly checks if the saddle is well secured with the girth and all buckles are fastened. He offers you his hand and you take it, letting him guide you to Maximus' left side as he explains just how to get up. He looks very princely like this, talking almost excitedly... or, well, as excited as Silver gets. He doesn't look like he's about to fall asleep, so that must count for something, and there's a rare smile on his face. He must really like his club. And the horses seem to like him just fine as well. Way too fine, actually, since they insist in interrupting him as he talks, demanding his attention. His horse smacks it's tail on your face as it nuzzles on Silver's hand. Maximus neighs amused, that bastard.
You thank Silver and let him get to his own activities, not wanting to take more of his time. He leaves, but his smile dropped and he looked almost disappointed. You wonder what that was about. Either way, you go find a steeping stool to help you mount Maximus. Riddle goes with you, insisting in supervising everything to make sure you won't have any problems. He holds Maximus' face to make sure he will stay quiet for you to mount him like Silver taught you to. As soon as you're seated Riddle withdraws from proximity, letting Maximus have some space. However, before you get time to grip the reins, Maximus takes off, leaving you to desperately hold onto his neck as he runs around. Riddle goes after the two of you, trying to stop him while you hold your screams in. After a full minute of this, Maximus suddenly stops, making you let go of your grip on him and fall to the side. Riddle fusses over you, making sure you're not badly hurt while reprimanding the horse for the stunt he pulled.
You do feel sore all over, but refuse to back down. You're not going to let Maximus have the last laugh. You thank Riddle for his help and let him go back to his horse, assuring him you'll be fine. He checks on you once more to make sure you're ok before going, looking behing his shoulder as if you were about to fall again. You smile reassuringly. His face turns red like his hair and he scurries away. You take Maximus back to where you left the steeping stool, determined to mount him and actually stay there this time.
Sebek notices your struggle and decides to graciously help you once more. Maximus squirms around but eventually the two of you make him stay in place while you mount him. Sebek keeps his hand on Maximus while you adjust your footing and organize the reins. Once you're ready, you nudge Maximus with your lower leg, encouraging him to start walking. Sebek insists on being close the entire time, making corrections to your position and moviments, such as keeping your back straight and looking forward. Even with his harsh soldier like tone, you begin enjoying the ride and compliment him on his ability as a teacher, stating how much of an exceptional rider he must be. Sebek blushes and starts stuttering, words getting mixed up with one another. Without his clear instructions you start having a rockier time with reining Maximus, but he manages to not blunder his words too much when telling you how to halt and to dismount your horse.
At the end of pratice you're sweaty, covered in mud and sore all over. It was fun some times, but you rather not have to worry for your life at every meeting (the overblots and dealing with your friends antics was already more than enough life threatning excitement for you). You also feel you should steer clear from the stables, just in case Maximus tries to commit his revenge on you. Time to check out other clubs.
(The boys insist you only need some more practice, that you have potential, that Maximus will warm up to you. They are very earnest when telling you they enjoyed having you over, even if they had to keep an eye on you the whole time to make sure you wouldn't get hurt. When they ask you to come by another time, you can't say no. You suppose you do owe them one for all their help. They ligthen up when you agree, so you can't bring yourself to regret it, even if you know you'll have to deal Maximus once again.)
Basketball Club (Ace, Floyd, Jamil)
Oh, this is Ace's club, right? And it's a normal non-magical sport as well. Let's give it a try!
The first person to greet you is, obviously, one of your closest friends (and cause of your daily headaches), Ace. He had bragged to you about his ability in playing basketball before, something about being the best freshmen in the team and even Riddle complimenting him on his skill. He teases you, asking if you'll be able to keep up with him, which earns him an eyeroll and a friendly punch on the shoulder.
You quickly remember who else Ace mentioned being on the team as soon as you hear a loud voice call for 'Shrimpy' and two arms squeezing the air out of you. Of course, Floyd was overenthusiastic about your participation, telling you how your presence would surely make things interesting and how this class was starting to get boring so it was good to have something new added to it. You're not sure how to react so you reply telling him you'll do your best (and praying he'd let you go before you run out of air). Floyd stares at you for a bit, taken aback from such an earnest answer, before squeezing you even harder for being so cute. Ace comes to the rescue, saving you from passing out before the class could even start.
You also find another familiar face on the team, Jamil. You thank whatever higher being that was out there looking out for you for sending a sane person to keep you company. It seems Jamil shares the sentiment, as you start a light conversation about the club that ends up being more about Jamil complaining that he had to deal with Kalim's shenanigans his entire life and the only moment he's alone he has to babysit Ace and Floyd, least they cause a disaster and the rest of the team is blamed for it. You sympathize with him, promising to do your part in the babysitting duty for the day. Jamil looks really relieved as he thanks you.
Before pratice, just like in Spelldrive, you did light stretches, competing with Ace to see who can reach their feet when bending down or who can stay longer balancing on one leg. Everyone got separated in duos to train some passes before actually playing. Scattering across the gym, each at one end of the room, you and Ace threw the ball between yourselves. He always had some cheeky comment to make about your lack of skill, which only motivated you to throw the ball harder at his direction, technique be damned. All the while you had to be careful to avoid stray shots from the others around you. Perhaps you should have brought the safety helmet from the Equestrian club.
Floyd and Jamil (he must have been dragged into this, being one of the only ones able to handle Floyd) were right next to where your duo was. They both were obviously skilled, doing tricks with the ball to show off. You were actually pretty impressed as you observed them, so much so that you miscalculated your shot and instead of sending the ball to hit Ace, it went at Floyd's direction. As Floyd was busy annoying the closest student to his side, he only noticed the ball right before it hit him, too late to stop it.
Thankfully his skull was thick enough that not even a basketball hitting him managed to hurt, though it did leave quite an impressive red mark on his face. Ace swore and scurried away from Floyd's other side, Jamil pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed, you felt your heart drop. The student that previously had Floyd's attention took the opportunity to run away, leaving the four of you in this stalemate. Even with all the activity around, you could only focus on the way Floyd raised his eyes to meet your frightened ones, an impassive expression on his face and your basketball on his hand.
Instead of a frown and the deeper tone of voice you expected (alongside the promise of pain in your future), you were met with a wide grin, sharp teeth at full display, and a high pitched giggle. You didn't know which was worse. Either way, you felt like a prey caught in it's predator radar. Floyd told you that if you wanted to play so bad, he'd be happy to play with you! Ace was planning your funeral already.
And so, what was supposed to be a simple exercise of passing the ball became an impromptu game of dodgeball in which if you were hit, instead of being out you gained a concussion and a trip to the infirmary. Somehow, Ace and Jamil got roped into it as well, the three of you running around to avoid being hit by one of the deathly bullets Floyd threw at you. After noticing it, the club leader announced they could stop for a short break before picking out the teams for a game, in the hopes it would distract the eelmer enough to make him stop.
It worked, since the prospect of 'playing another game with shrimpy' made Floyd get excited to get you on his team. You sighed in relief, a bit out of breath. You and Ace sprawled yourselves at the floor to rest, not caring about how dirty it may be, your legs needed to lay down for a while. He turned his head at your direction and said it was your fault for having such bad aim. You replied with how it was his fault for being so bad at teaching you. You have a stare down that ends in both bursting into laughter.
Jamil and some other second year were the ones choosing the teams. He smiled mischievously, the same smile he had when he was planning something. Jamil could be the calmer one between your options, but that didn't mean he wouldn't cause trouble as well. In the end, you stayed on Jamil's team while Floyd and Ace were on the other. Floyd pouted and whined about how he had wanted to play in the same team as you and Ace seemed a bit miffed (you weren't sure if it was because he ended up against you or because he was with Floyd). Jamil had a very self satisfied smile on his face as he told you which formation your team would use. He sent a smug smirk to the others when you weren't looking.
You were wondering what kind of stunt Floyd would put to get what he wanted, but once the game started he just... didn't do anything. Jamil, on the other hand, was quick to catch the ball and take it to the other side of the court, dodging Ace's attempts at stopping him, jumping high and scoring some points. You were in awe, you had no idea Jamil was this good! As he went to your side with a self-satisfied expression in face, you showered him in compliments, saying how fast he ran and how high he jumped and how he looked really cool! While the smile stayed on his face, it seemed softer, and Jamil wouldn't look you in the eyes, murmuring something that you didn't catch about this being his strategy to win by having you on his side.
As the game went on you managed to get the hang of it, actually enjoying playing! Jamil and you made a great duo and Floyd was too desmotivated to try to win, so that only left Ace as your major obstacle. He'd often try to get the ball from your hands while making some sassy remarks and engaging in light hearted banter with you. Even when you weren't with the ball he stayed close to try to block you. It came to a point when you were going to try to score a point when he appeared in front of you, close enough that you wouldn't have time to dodge him. So, of course, you had to maneuver your way out, getting close to his face as you made sure to keep his hands away from the ball. His attention was solely on you, gaze unwavering as your noses almost touched and your breaths mingled. He was frozen in place and you took your chance, jumping as high as you could and dunking the ball on the net.
Your team cheered you on, a huge smile on your lips as you turned to see Ace's reaction. He was standing at the same spot, still looking at you. You winked playfully and blew him a kiss, rubbing your victory on his face, proud of your work. He blushed and crossed his arms, saying that you cheated by distracting him. His gaze remained on the lower half of you face. Before you could reply, Jamil whisked you away, congratulating you on your shot.
It was good your team got hyped up, but alongside it so did Floyd. He suddenly felt motivated to play against you and see you try to dodge around him like you did with Ace, since it seemed like lots of fun! (Which would not happen because have you seen his height?) It's not like you had a choice in the matter, anyway, since Floyd could easily take down any member of your team and go straight at you now that he felt like playing again. The last minutes were more like a game of tag between you two, Floyd giggling as he tried to catch you. You ran around the players, trying your best to make a complicated path to confuse him.
You were actually having some fun, seeing Jamil get the ball from Floyd's hands to help you out and Ace try to get in your way to slow you down. Still, you were not used to that much exercise, your sore body becoming your own enemy as you got more sluggish, which in turn made you get more distracted. It was thanks to that you didn't notice Floyd until he was right beside you, ready to glomp you and squeeze as he trapped you in his arms. You'd blame it on your tiredness later, but as a last effort to get away from him you turned around abruptly, supporting your weight on your heel. Since you were worn out, you got dizzy quickly, tripping over your own feet and landing on the ground.
As soon as you felt sharp pain on your ankle you knew you were screwed, a whine coming out of your throat and tears welling in your eyes. Why must something like this always happen to you? The boys crowded over you, asking if you were okay or if you could stand up or if you wanted a hug to feel better. The answer was no to all of them.
In the end, you saw yourself staring at the infirmary ceiling once more, sweaty and tired, your ankle wrapped in bandages and propped up on the bed. Maybe you should stop going to sports clubs' pratices. Ace, Jamil and Floyd stood by your side, watching you to make sure you were alright, in their own ways. You felt a strong sense of deja vu, though you were grateful for them carrying you all the way up there (even if Floyd took the opportunity to squeeze you some). You could tell for sure that basketball wasn't for you. Time to check out other clubs.
(To lift the mood, Ace cracked a joke about how terrible you were at basketball and how you still had a long way to go before reaching his level. Jamil agreed, adding that pratice makes perfect. Floyd said he had much more fun with shrimpy around to keep him entertained. It wss pretty obvious they wanted to see you there again. The three of them looked at you with hope, even if Floyd's puppy eyes didn't work nearly as well as Ruggie's and Ace's and Jamil's tsundere act didn't fool you, you couldn't say no to them. You did have some fun as well, although next time you'll try to only watch and cheer on the sidelines, no need to be on the playing field and within squeezing distance.)
Track and Field Club (Deuce, Jack)
Despite your previous conviction, you decided to give the sports clubs one last chance. As this club didn't involve a game with complicated rules nor any magic, it seemed like the best choice. Positive thinking is key!
As soon as you steped foot into the field, Deuce and Jack came to great you, visibly happy to have you there! (They won't admit it to you, but they were a bit jealous that you had went to your other first year friends' clubs but not to theirs yet. They were determined to impress you.)
You tell them you're a little worried you won't be able to keep up with their pace, since Deuce has won prizes for his speed and Jack goes on morning jogs everyday. They reassure you that it's no problem, they'll help you the best they can!
The other members don't mind you much, letting your friends monopolize your attention. Jack asks if you've eaten and how has your diet been, you'll need some energy to run! Deuce asks if your uniform is comfortable and if the shoes fit in the right way, it's important to be able to move freely! They are very respectful and answer any question you might have patiently, which makes you feel welcomed. Maybe this time it won't be so bad!
To start pratice, the club leader tells all the members to run some laps. You notice you're pretty behind everyone else, but you're trying to not use all your energy at the warm up, so you don't mind. You take the chance to observe your friends running ahead of you, how the sun reflects on their skin, their shoulders going up and down, every step helping them gain speed. They looked really cool. This fills you with determination, promising to yourself to give it your best in this club.
After taking a break to drink water and stretching your muscles, you start the dynamics. It was a bit funny since you did them by basically moving in circles and changing the way you walk. Still, they were easier to accompany everyone than the laps. So far, so good!
Things start going downhill once you had to do the jumps. Everyone lined up, you staying at the last place, Jack and Deuce right in front of you. They explain that you should sprint, jump at the wooden board and land on the sand pit. Seems easy enough!
It's not. On Jack's turn, he makes it looks effortless, even with his bigger built he manages to land with grace. You clap for him and he pretends to not notice, but his tail is wagging. On Deuce's, he catches speed quickly and jumps high, landing on his feet and turning to look at you. You cheer for him, a big smile in face as he rubs the back of his neck and thanks you with red cheeks.
You try to copy their moviments, sprinting with a concentrated look on your face, focused on your destination. Unfortunately, you should have looked at the ground as well, since when it was time to jump you were just a tad too slow and tripped on the wooden plank, falling on the sand pit. You try again, this time focusing on where you're putting your feet, not missing the plank! However, you jump with too much force and doesn't land right, bouncing off the ground again before falling on your knees. You try one more time, jumping at the right place and not putting to much force. This time, though, your feet are not positioned the right way and you loose the strenght to support your weight, eating sand once more. You're going to blame this one on your recently sprained ankle and call it a day. (Thanks Floyd!)
After getting no luck on the long jump (and leaving with your hair full of sand), Jack and Deuce make sure you're ok. You reassure them that yes, your ankle is fine (for now), no, you didn't swallow sand (at least you're pretty sure you didn't) and yes, of course you want to keep going, it's going to take more than just that to deter you (you're a bit used to defeats). Finally, you start to train for the high jump. Especifically the landing, since if you fall the wrong way you could get seriously hurt. Please make sure you land right! Jack and Deuce will be watching closely, ready to help.
Everyone gets separated to go to different mats, some of the older students going straight to the jump. Your friends follow you, Deuce has a fist up as he talks excitedly about his progress on this jump. Jack listens by the side, nodding to some things or adding a comment on how he didn't jump quite that high, but it was an improvement anyway. They are like your personal coaches, instructing you to start by doing rollouts, than jumping and doing a rollout, then jumping higher and doing a rollout.
Once the basics are covered they join you, taking turns at running and flopping on their backs. It's fun, the way your body bounces of the mat and watching Jack and Deuce compete on who can flop harder. They add the bungee, which makes things more complicated since you had to reach a certain heigh to not get stuck on it, but it was a nice challenge. You did lose your shoe due to your feet getting caught in the bungee on the first try, though.
You were enjoying it, laughing along your friends! Until they added the bar. The bar changed everything. The height was a bit higher than it was with the bungee and it was nowhere near as soft. You watched, in awe, as Jack and Deuce flew just over lt and landed on a rollout. You were sure you'd get it too, after all, you did great on the other steps! You ran, turned around and used as much impulse as you could to jump. Instead of the soft embrace of the training mat, you were met with the metalic and hard feeling of the bar digging on your back as you landed right above it. Not even the mat could soften the blow, making you cry out, both in surprise and in pain. The sting was enough to have you wondering if you ever wanted to try this again in your life, the pain was not worth it.
Deuce was by your side instantly, bending down, asking if your back was ok and offering his hand to help you get up. Your hand clasps his, the force he used making your faces come very close to each other, noses touching, your breathless and flushed face right in front of his worried blue eyes. Said eyes widen as his face takes a red tone, he stutters apologies while backing away, hands covering his cheeks. Jack, who you hadn't notice coming close behind you, puts his hand on your shoulder, squeezing it comfortingly. He says you went well for a begginer and tells you how Deuce did the same thing on his first try. You giggle, putting one of your hands above his to show your appreciation. He quickly drops it and crosses his arms, saying the three of you better get going to the next exercise, eyes avoiding yours and conveniently looking at where the others on the field were gathering together.
There were obstacles scattered across the field, some closer than others. Deuce puffs out his chest and says it's time for the hurdle hops and that he'll show to you how it's done. You watch intently as he sprints and jumps at all the right times, not losing speed despite the things in his way. Jack follows him, a stoic look as he calculates just the right time to jump and cross every obstacle. It reminded you of when you'd watch race competitions back at home, how the runners looked as they crossed the finish line.
Filled with nostalgia, you try to replicate your memory, basing yourself on your friends' perfomances. You run and jump successfully on the first hurdle, feeling as if you're really improving! Though not for too long, since on the second hurdle you don't manage to jump high enough and just end up kicking it and falling on your butt. Oh well, you lasted longer than expected.
You refuse to back down, getting up and dusting yourself, ready to try again. Deuce and Jack support your enthusiasm, hyping you up on every try. It's a bit embarrassing to have them watching and commenting like this, but you feel warmth spreading through your chest and a smile blooming on your face. It's good to know people trust your ability to improve and do better, and you're not about to let them down!
There's one time you trip when you're near the hurdle and end up slipping under it. Another time you jump too close to it and almost full body slam it, falling on top of it. Your feet catches onto the edge of one of the hurdles and makes you fall. You end up knocking over one hurdle, keep running and then falling due to your lost momentum and equilibrium. You stay on the ground, defeated, your body screaming at you after so many falls. It wouldn't be so bad to give up, right? You really did try.
Deuce and Jack carry you to a bench and take care of you, Deuce handing you some water while Jack cleans the scratches you got from meeting the floor so much. They don't rub it in your face about your defeat (like a certain red haired first year would) and try to encourage you to keep trying. (They were pretty worried when you didn't get up though. They wanted to be one of the clubs that didn't make up you end on the infirmary.)
To end pratice, everyone would do a long run. The boys tell you can skip it, since you are already very tired, not used to this much exercising, chest heaving up and down and breath coming as short puffs of air. Jack says it'll do you no good to overwork your body and end up collapsing, Deuce backing him up. Still, you're stubborn, and you already did everything, you might as well go until the end. So you tell them you'll be just fine and agree to the run.
You keep Jack's words in mind, making sure to not overexerte it. Instead of holding a full on sprint you settle on a lighter jog, making sure your breaths are somewhat regulated. This makes you stay very behind the others but you don't mind, everyone has their own pace after all. Deuce and Jack were close to you, since they had very obviously slowed down significantly to keep you company, and you greatly appreciated that, flashing them a smile. Deuce offers a thumbs up and Jack nods his head.
There is a part where you trip and almost fall, but thankfully Deuce catches your arm and manages to keep you upright while still in movement. Though you two get extremely close again, your foreheads even knock on each other's. Deuce gets red faced again, instead of fumbling with his words he fumbles with his feet, tripping and taking you with him as his grip tightens on your arm.
Jack comes to the rescue and stays in the middle, still running prefectly even after having used so much energy during pratice. Guess the daily jogs do work. You look at his back muscles contracting, his shoulders moving, his tail helping him keep equilibrium, feet touchig the ground for a moment before they're gone. He seems to notice the eyes on his back as he looks over his shoulder, head tilting in confusion in such an endearing way you can't help but tell him what you were thinkin, about how cool he looks and how he must have trained so much for this! He looks taken a bit aback, ears twitching and tail wagging. So much so, in fact, that due to your closeness and his thick fur, it hits you, and due to your tiredness and the position it hits, you end up falling once again. You're not even mad, honestly. It was the nicest fall you've had so far.
Congrats, you manage to finish the run! Although you're drenched in sweat, hair sticking to your forehead and throat dry, you did it! But Deuce and Jack won't look you in the eye and keep blushing for some reason, you start to wonder if they're down with a fever at this point. Anyways, as soon as the run is over you throw youself (gently) on the ground, taking large gulps of air and spreading and stretching your limbs.
All in all it was pretty fun, even if you did get some scratches and lost whatever little dignity you still had. But you found yourself all sweaty and sore again, not to mention that you didn't think that track was for you. You plan to check other non sport related clubs later, but first, you deserve a break.
(Jack's tail keeps wagging and Deuce's smile is glued to his face. They mentally high five each other for a job well done. They had made you feel welcomed! And you enjoyed yourself! Such a shame you're not entering the club yet... remember to not fall out ot pratice in order to build stamina. Jack can help you with that, going on jogs with you! And you were so good at the high jump, not to mention you were almost getting the hang of the hurdle hops, so maybe next time you try will be the time you make it! Deuce can help you if you need! It's very clear what they wanted, and since they did do their best it feels right to give them a little reward, so of course you agree to come to another pratice eventually. Their smiles give you the force to strengthen your resolve, as you bid goodbye to any possible dignity you had left.)

Can i request for any twisted wonderland characters that's fit x reader who don't know how to cook
yeah, of course!
Some of these characters have shorter parts because I added every character in the game, minus side characters such as (Artemiy Artemiyevich Pinker (Che'nya), Rollo Flamme, et cetera)
Also! If there are any inadequacies with grammar, I apologize, I'm at a friend's house while i'm writing this and I'm very easily distracted.
If it's not obvious, I'm a sucker for soft Sebek
Ortho is strictly platonic!
And Reader can be viewed as either Yuu or not!

Riddle's world comes crashing down, in all honesty.
The boy was raised with the ideal that a partner is supposed to be at least a decent cook, but you are the exact opposite.
He will eat your food only to be nice.
Even though he can't cook all that well himself, he'll try to suggest ways to make it better even though none of his suggestions really, truly help the awfulness of your cooking.
Let's just hope you don't end up cooking for his mother.
Trey is quite literally the sunshine to your moonlight, your sky to your ground.
You two are total, clear opposites.
He can cook almost anything without flaw, especially pastries and sweets.
He will panic if he ever sees you in the kitchen, trying to cook something.
He'll subtly take over for you, slowly taking more and more control of the kitchen.
Cater would not care one single bit.
He is taking so, so many photos and posting them on Magicam, he does not give two shits whether it looks amazing, or absolutely terrible.
He will post it, specifically because you're his partner, you're his significant other.
And yes, he will shove it down his throat even if he needs to vomit it up later.
Ace can't cook, not one bit.
He's also very weird about his tastes.
He'll eat pickles and ice cream but he probably won't eat a single slice of cheese.
He'll eat anything you make at all whatsoever, unless there's cheese. (I headcanon he absolutely hates cheese, don't ask why)
He'll watch you cook and won't even interfere.
He does notice how bad your cooking is but he won't say or do anything about it because he genuinely does not care.
He'll even tell you it's actually good
Deuce doesn't even notice how bad it is, and if he did, he wouldn't even care.
He'll anything and everything, minus bell peppers.
He cannot, and will not, eat bell peppers.
He hates the taste, the texture, everything about bell peppers is everything he hates in all of Twisted Wonderland.
He tends to not watch you cook and has no reason for it.
Leona's not exactly shameless when it comes to meats, despite any sort of meat being among his absolute favorite foods.
He's not very picky about meats though. Just as long as it's cooked decently, and seasoned alright, he's fine.
Despite being a literal prince, he does not have a prince's palette.
He'll literally eat raw meat if it suits his needs
Of course, that's mostly because of the lion beastman part of him
Ruggie is literally shameless, make him anything and he'll eat it.
Just as long as it's not rotten, he'll eat quite literally anything.
He's not the greatest cook, but he'll help in any way he possibly can.
He'll most definitely bring your food to the kids in his neighborhood, no matter how terrible it is.
He wants to make sure they're fed, and he's happy when you're willing to cook.
He never tells you if he genuinely thinks you're food is bad, he'll end up feeling terrible and he knows that so he won't say a thing about your cooking.
Unless it's any sort of praise.
Jack isn't entirely picky, but he's not the biggest fan of your cooking.
Being who he is, he'll feel bad for even thinking that your food is bad.
Also being the honest man he is, he'll sadly point it out to you, admitting his wrongdoing.
He's a big sweetheart, so he'll try to be as kind to you as he can, no matter how you end up reacting.
Given that Azul grew up with his mother owning a restaurant, and he himself owning a restaurant, he's a bit... iffy over your cooking skills.
Of course, he'll always be nice when he brings it up. You're his significant other after all.
He'll point it out and he may give you some of his mom's recipes to help you follow along.
He helps you cook much more than he used to, letting you have most of the control, but he will come in if he sees you do something wrong.
Jade finds you and your cooking very, very entertaining.
He doesn't ever actually help you unless he finds you cooking mushrooms and.... screwing them up.
After that, he's immediately on your case and helping you cook.
Within the next two or three weeks, you're an absolute master chef.
Especially with mushrooms. By time Jade is done with you, you're more than likely a better chef when it comes to mushrooms than he is.
Floyd thinks you are the most entertaining human he's ever met.
Like some other people, he doesn't think your food is bad, just that it's so unbelievably entertaining and unique.
He actually doesn't try to help your cooking or change it or buy you anything new.
He simply watches the chaos of your cooking unfold, while occasionally adding his own, odd concoction to the mix.
And he will eat your food, no matter what you put on his plate, or what you put in the odd concoction you call your cooking.
Just don't add any shiitake mushrooms, he begs of you.
Kalim more than likely trusts you enough to not have Jamil test the food you give him.
The only way Jamil would let Kalim eat your food is if Jamil himself trusted you.
So, if Jamil trusted you, Kalim would more than happily eat your food himself.
He probably wouldn't care if your food was the best food in the whole of Twisted Wonderland, or if your food is the worst thing in all of Twisted Wonderland.
He'll eat it happily and won't complain one bit.
Jamil, if he truly trusts you, will eat small bits of your food and will help you cook every single time you step in a kitchen.
He won't completely take over like Trey would, but he will guide you in every single way, subtle or not.
Once you get better and better, he'll eat your food more and more.
He'll take over for you at any time and finish the cooking for you, if that's what you'd like, all you'd have to do is say the word.
You're going to make the Vil Schoenheit break out. And that's a feat, especially considering his rigorous skincare routine.
He won't eat any of your food, and he will flat-out tell you, in a relatively nice tone of voice, that your food is not exactly good.
If he realizes that it hurts you, he'll try to find ways for your cooking to taste relatively better, whether it be buying you new utensils, or buying you cookbooks or any other things like that.
He promises you that he never meant to hurt you, he just wants to... help.
Oh, Rook does not care. He genuinely thinks that your cooking is beautiful and wonderful in every single way possible.
He will eat your food and compliment you even if you put whole-ass children's toys in your food.
He'll buy you whatever you need for your cooking without you even need to ask him, he's kind of a freak like that.
Epel is very in the middle, he's fine with your bad cooking just.... don't make him eat it because he will act like a toddler having to eat vegetables.
Or, that's what he says he won't do.
He says he'll be all manly and eat it like a man, but you know for a fact that he won't and he will act like a little kid.
Idia barely eats as it is, so when you bring him food, his hair will immediately turn pink and he'll try to hide his face by tightening his hood over his head.
He won't care whether it's bad or good, he'll only care about the fact that you actually... brought him food.
Of course, Ortho does so all the time, but it's different when your significant other brings you a whole meal because they don't want you to starve.
Once again, he doesn't care whether it's good or bad, he'll shove it down his throat either way.
Ortho can't exactly eat, given that he's both a robot and a machine.
But he'll look up recipes and help you cook and help you get as best and as good as you can get.
He'll always help, and use every single upgrade he's ever got put into him by his big brother to help you cook as best as you can.
Oh, boy. Malleus is scared that he has another Lilia on his hands. Of course, your food is not as bad as Lilia's, but it's still not, for lack of a better word, good.
He will eat it, but he'll compliment and praise your cooking in a very... odd way.
He'll compliment you, yes. But he'll also add in some, not-so-subtle ways you can improve.
Don't tell him, he genuinely thinks his attempts at helping are extremely subtle, when they are absolutely not.
Lilia, like Rook, Kalim, and Deuce, won't even notice that your food is bad.
And that is mostly because he, himself is a bad chef.
He's such a bad chef he can't even tell when foods are actually bad.
Even if he could tell that your food was not good, he still wouldn't care because he just loves you far, far too much to even think of pointing it out.
Silver is internally sobbing. First, his Father, and now, his significant other.
He's very sweet about telling you ways you can improve.
He actually does this with his father, too. But you're the only one who picks up on it, Lilia, sadly, does not.
Silver tries his absolute hardest to help, but he eventually succumbs to his sleep, but he always profusely apologizes afterward.
Sebek is oddly much sweeter about it than you'd ever expect.
He doesn't yell, but he does let you know that it doesn't taste good.
He explains ways you can fix it, despite he himself not knowing how to cook all that well.
He explains everything he knows about cooking to try and help you.
If Sebek manages to view a human as a significant other, or partner, he will dote on your every need or want in the sweetest way that you'd never, ever expect from him.
He's very sweet as he helps you cook, making sure that you do everything to the best of your genuine ability.
Hi I’m sorry if this is too silly a request, but can you do savannaclaw and octavinelle (separately) x reader who has really soft cheeks and how they find out about their soft cheeks + what they do with this knowledge? Thank you! <3
Yup!
And if you haven't noticed, I quit colour-coding names and pronouns simply because I'm lazy
And this is my first time writing Ruggie and Jack so, please forgive me if they're bad 😭

Azul would more than likely find out during his overblot, although he wouldn't much care or notice it at the time.
With his magic, you'd get thrown to the ground and your cheek would squish up against the hard floor.
Upon returning to his normal self, his immediate reaction would be to run to you and tilt your face up toward him.
Despite still being in shock over what happened to him, he remembered how your cheeks squished up against the floor.
Despite how your cheeks don't look squishy, they are, and Azul takes total advantage of this.
After finding this out, he kisses your cheeks much more often.
Jade would've found out through his job at the Lounge
You'd more than likely bump into him and end up squishing your cheek against his back or his chest.
Upon learning this information, he'd be similar to Floyd in terms of reaction.
No matter who's around, what's going on, if it suits his needs, he'll randomly squish and your cheeks and give a light chuckle at your facial expression.
Floyd would more than likely find out from a normal squeeze.
He'd squeeze you, and because he's so tall, he'd feel your cheek squish against either, his own, or his chest.
He can and he will use this against you.
I would run if I were you.
He is not afraid to just randomly bite your cheeks, especially in front of people.
Your cheeks are like stress toys for him and don't even ask why.
He'll come running up to you while on break and just squish at your cheeks, he will not care who's around.
Leona would most likely find out during a nap.
You'd try to wake him up and he'd try to swat you away, lightly smacking your cheek in the process.
After that, he immediately sat up before pulling you onto his lap.
He'd mess with your cheeks for a solid five minutes before laying back down and taking you with him.
It honestly took him by surprise, because your cheeks looked nowhere near as soft and squishy as they were.
Of course, he never actually made this known, simply laying back and going back to sleep with you in his lap.
Ruggie would have found out through a simple dare.
Using his signature spell on you and pinching his cheeks, and in return, making you pinch your own.
Ruggie would've immediately released the spell before taking your cheeks in between his pointer fingers and thumbs.
Just like the others, it took him by surprise.
And he will use it against you to get doughnuts, even though it's nothing to "use against you"
Jack would more than likely find out through someone else.
He's very respectful of your boundaries and wouldn't ever want to cross them.
So when he sees Ace or Deuce squish at your cheeks, he asks you why.
You explain to him that your cheeks are just naturally soft and squishy, and that you really don't mind it.
Jack would nod and completely understand.
But even knowing this situation, he still wouldn't even touch you unless he had your firm, verbal permission.
Omg I just found this again, loved reading it the first time and I loved it even more the second time
summary: You have the worst luck in the entire world to be transmigrated into a novel as some faceless side character, where the most notorious villains in the story won’t leave you alone. (ft. Riddle, Leona, Azul, Jamil, Vil, Idia, Malleus).
notes: 12k words, scenario, fluff, mentions of violence, reader gets injured once, heavily based on my love of cheesy isekai/reincarnation/villainess manhwa
All of your problems started with the book your friend lent you.
You didn’t even want to read it at first, but you took the copy because she wouldn’t stop pestering you and spamming you with texts. The title—I’ve Become the Villain’s Lover!—was embossed gold, and the cover picture had seven beautiful men lounging around a woman with brown hair, the woman gazing wistfully into the distance. In short, it was so cheesy it sent chills down your back.
You really weren’t going to read it. But that summer night was hot and humid and you had nothing better to do than stare at the television and stir around your half-melted ice cream. So when you saw the book on the edge of the kitchen counter, you thought, why not? and opened it up.
If it was bad, you would stop after a few pages. But the television kept droning on as you read, and your forgotten ice cream was now melted slush in its bowl, and soon you were halfway through the story.
The premise itself was simple enough: the heroine, Hera Winn, was the treasured daughter of a down on his luck baron. He sent her to the city to make her debut, and after a series of mishaps, she ended up running into the crown prince, Malleus Draconia, who fell in love at first sight. However, the crown prince was feared by his subjects, and rumors swirled around about his fearsome power and his family. To make matters worse, six other men fall in love with Hera. The cherry on top? All seven men were notorious villains, feared by people far and wide for their cruelty.
You were still a few chapters away from the ending when your eyes started drooping; it was impossible to keep them open, even though you were dying to text your friend. It was deliciously bad, in an over-the-top and campy way, and you appreciated how self-indulgent the author was. Seriously, why would seven villains even fall for an ordinary person? It was way too contrived.
Whatever. You could call her tomorrow.
You closed your eyes, and when you opened them again, you found yourself staring at an unfamiliar ceiling. Oh no. No way. This wasn’t what you thought it was, was it?
Conveniently, there was a hand mirror next to you, and when you stared into the frame, the face of a stranger stared back at you.
Your worst fears had come true. You’d transmigrated into I’ve Become the Villain’s Lover!
Shit. You were never going to read another book in your life.
This is a gift for @blues824, who inspired me with their amazing work, specifically their headcanons. This was also originally going to be a request, but since they are currently on a hiatus, I decided to make this myself.
Preface: Once upon a time, you were the unloved, ignored, and abandoned second princess of the Empire of Obelia. The nobles would always mock you for being the daughter of the emperor and a mere dancer. Even your father, the cold-hearted Emperor Claude De Alger Obelia, utterly despised you since you had killed your mother during childbirth. Your older half-sister, Crown Princess Jeanette, on the other hand, was beloved by all for her beauty, kindness, and being the daughter of the emperor and a high-ranking noble and was often heralded as "The Lovely Princess". In the end, when you were framed for poisoning your lovely older sister, your cruel father sentenced you to death, only for you to be reincarnated into the magical world of Twisted Wonderland.
I used to read the manga, "Who Made Me a Princess" a long time ago and dropped it during the chapters when Claude lost his memories. One day, I will return to it.
Riddle was absolutely stunned by your beauty the very moment he laid eyes on you. With your platinum blonde locks, delicate, fair complexion, and of course, jeweled blue eyes, you were most definitely the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. But of course, being a strict and serious control freak, he often yelled at you for breaking rules and associating with idiots like Ace and Deuce. He would never admit it, but he was jealous that someone as gorgeous and graceful as you would choose to associate with such imbeciles rather than him.
After his overblot, however, he found that his infatuation with your beauty and grace become a much deeper, more passionate, true love for you. You understood his pain of being a misunderstood, heartbroken little boy with a strict, abusive mother more than anyone else did, and never blamed him for becoming a monster. Sevens, you had even cried tears of heartbreak and empathy alongside him! Apparently, you were not just pretty on the outside, but beautiful within as well. And for that reason, he would always in debt, and in love, with you.
He seriously never understood why you were always so gloomy and withdrawn. Every time he or someone tried to compliment or praise you, you would always respond in such a self-deprecating way that it broke his heart. Didn't you know just how lovely you were? Something in him told him that something terrible must have happened to you for you have such low self-esteem.
He was utterly horrified when you told him about your past. He had his own fair share of heartless parents, to have been executed at the hands of your own father . . . how could someone be so cruel!? It didn't take long before his shock became fury. How dare - How dare someone do such horrid things to you - the loveliest rose of the field!?
"Oh, my rose . . . what terrible things you have endured! Don't worry, while you weren't the lovely princess of your past life, while you aren't a princess anymore, while you are technically nonexistent in this world, you will always be The Lovely Princess to me - no - you will be the Wonderful White Queen!"
When Leona first laid eyes on you, he pretended not to care, but don't be fooled. His eyes widened slightly upon perceiving such beauty, before later returning to sleep, allowing your face to plant itself into his mind like a seed. He had seen beautiful women before, but never one with eyes like jewels. Immediately, he ordered Ruggie to do research on jeweled eyed people and was infuriated when he came back empty-handed. He just had to know more about you and your kind.
After your saved him from his overblot, it would be safe to say that his deep fascination with your eyes became an intense, powerful love. You had a pure soul that had purified his, and he would always be enamored with you for it. However, just because you had a pure soul didn't mean you were completely pure and innocent of all the evil in the world. He could see that with the depressed and sullen manner of which you carried yourself. Upon asking you about it, he surprisingly was unsurprised to know that you had lived a terrible life in the past, full of humiliation, a malevolent father, and a negligent older sister. He also wasn't surprised to know that you had been a princess. It honestly kind of explained the sophisticated manner you conducted yourself with. The only thing he was shocked about was the fact that you had died, specifically executed, and came back to life. However, surprised or not, that didn't mean that Leona's blood didn't boil. He had his own experiences with being in the shadow of your older sibling, but to have been sentenced to death because of it? That was a whole other level of cruelty.
"Oh, kitten . . . I can't imagine all of the things you went through. Always know that while I'm unable to make you an empress, you'll always be the lovely princess in my heart."
Unlike the others, upon laying eyes on you, Azul couldn't care less about your looks. Or at least, not yet. Instead, he legit thought that because you had jeweled eyes, you had the ability to cry jewels, and he wanted to make a profit out of it. Imagine his disappointment when he found out you couldn't. It was, however, after that he started to take in consideration your appearance. With your ethereal, otherworldly beauty that rivaled Vil's, he decided to try and turn you into a model and make money off you from there. Imagine his disappointment when you refused.
He honestly had no clue why you were so insecure. Couldn't you see how beautiful you were!? It threw him into a jealous rage. You should have been grateful. Afterall, some people, such as himself, grew up being mocked for being ugly, and people like you were far more than fortunate. However, something inside him just commanded him to find out more about you, and what caused you to be so sorrowful.
He found out shortly after the two of you started dating, which was after he fell in love with you for saving his life following his overblot. His heart broke knowing all of the things you must have endured as the unloved second princess of Obelia. He wanted to find that wicked father of yours and make him sign a contract that would bind him to the very bottom of the sea even if he lived in another world. How dare someone hurt his angelfish like this!?
He also began to wonder if he was good enough for you. Regardless of how hated you were in your first life, you were still a princess. He, on the other hand, was the son of a mere restaurant owner as well as an unsightly octo-mer. However, when you assured him that you loved him and that he was more than worthy of you, he started crying tears of joy. Oh, he would have destroyed the entire malevolent empire of Obelia if you simply asked.
When Kalim first saw you, you reminded him of his favorite jewel back at home. He immediately began bombarding you with questions. Where did you get those contact lenses? Why were your eyes jeweled? Were there other jeweled eye people in your world??
It was only when he saw how uncomfortable you were that he stopped. However, that didn't mean that like with everyone, he tried to be friends with you. He honestly was very confused at how fragile and anxious you were. Did he do something wrong? Why were you avoiding him? Why did you evade everyone? But following Jamil's advice, later stopped.
Speaking of Jamil, following the events of Book 4, Kalim found himself falling for you. You had revealed to him the wicked conspiracy of his most trusted companion. You had comforted him and offered advice during his time of grief and feelings of betrayal. But most of all, in stark contrast to your usually cowardly disposition, had saved the life of his friend.
When you told him about your past, he initially refused to believe you and thought you were joking. Executed at the hands of your own father? You must be pretending to be a novel protagonist. There was no way anyone in the world could possibly be that evil, right? It wasn't until he saw you crying that he realized you were being dead serious. Guilt and horror immediately flooded his heart as he began apologizing nonstop and comforting you. He couldn't believe someone as lovely and loving as you, had gone through something so terrible. Sevens, he couldn't even believe that someone as innocent and graceful as you, was related to a monster! He promises that for as long as he lives, he would make the happiest girl alive until his kindness rivals the cruelty of that wicked father of yours.
When he first laid eyes on you, he could feel the claws of envy digging deeply into his heart. With your delicate, fairy-like facial features and ocean blue gemstone-like eyes, you most definitely were the fairest of all, even topping Neige in all his glory. So, without a shadow of a doubt, he was hatefully, painfully jealous of you. First, he had Neige, and now he's got you.
His resentment only worsens when he sees how shy and gloomy you are. Afterall, insecurity does imply wasting potential and a lack of tenacity, and Vil hates those who put no effort into improving themselves. Yet something inside him made him feel guilty to be harsh on you. He couldn't understand. Surely this was because he found your beauty irresistible, even if you didn't see it.
After you saved and forgave from overblot, however, his perception made a 180. He began to believe that you were an angel who was not only beautiful, but humble as well, and merciful despite the evils of the world. The only thing that remained the same was his confusion towards your insecurity. Didn't you know how honored he was to be in your presence? Didn't you know how precious you were???
He was absolutely heartbroken when you told him about your past. Unlike Kalim, he knew for a fact that you were not joking because of all the tears that stained your face, and because he's an actor who knew when people were telling a story or not.
"Oh, you poor thing! That evil emperor doesn't deserve to have such an amazing woman like you as his daughter! Always remember, meine liebe, that you are precious and no one in this world can compare with your beauty both inside and out!"
He's also deeply irritated by the story of "The Lovely Princess". How disgustingly trashy! Not only is the main protagonist wayyyy too boring and bland, but she made you suffer alongside your father! If it were to be a movie, play, or TV show, he wouldn't play it even if it was the last chance he got to play the main protagonist.
(Before reading Idia's part, please know that I have not finished Book 6 and am not very familiar Idia's character, so this mayyyy be inaccurate.)
OMG! She looks like a waifu from a manga or anime! Is what he thinks when he first lays eyes on you. You were just so beautiful, you had to an isekai protagonist (and you are!) Your eyes were so glamorous, they couldn't possibly be real! But, of course, being the otaku shut-in he is, he never had the audacity to ask you about where you got your contacts. As a result, he was stuck admiring you from afar.
His crush on you only grew as he saw how much of an introvert you were. You were constantly surrounded by people who told you to have more confidence in yourself, that it reminded him of himself and Ortho. As a result, he strongly empathized with you and your struggle, and that connection was just watered the flower of his love.
When you told him about how you were executed by your father in your past life, he honestly felt like summoning S.T.Y.X.'s forces to blow up the Obelia Empire. Let those sucker normies rot in Tartarus! How dare they harm his waifu like this!? He caresses your cheek, assuring you that while you didn't manage to become the Lovely Princess, you would always be his Persephone.
(Again, since I have not finished Book 6, I have not even STARTED Book 7)
When Malleus first laid eyes on you, not only did he fall head over heels in love at first sight, but he also thought you were a fellow fairy. He was very surprised when he saw your round human ears. who knew humans could be so beautiful? Not to mention how your eyes looked like jewels and dragons loved shiny treasures. Either way, he fell ardently infatuated with you for being the first person to not fear him.
He was honestly very intrigued to see that you were a very shy person. People normally avoided him about of fear, but you normally avoided people out of fear. It was kind of like opposites attract. He, who yearned for friendship despite being feared like a monster was in love with you, who yearned for loneliness despite attracting attention with your beauty.
He also grew suspicious of your status as a commoner when he saw how sophisticated your manners were. You carried yourself with poise and grace, like how a future empress was taught to do. Of course, he wouldn't dare accuse you of lying to him, but he began to wonder if there was more to the story.
When you told him about your past as the abandoned princess of Obelia, a storm started brewing as he prepared to strike down the entire wretched empire of Obelia. How dare someone harm his Y/N!?
"Oh, my dear . . . How dare someone do that to you!? And your one and only kindred at that! Curse that treacherous father of yours! Don't worry. With me, you will forever be safe and happy. Anyone who dares to offend you shall face my wrath. I will make sure of it."
When you tell him that you told him you were a commoner instead of an (abandoned) princess because you were ashamed of that fact that you were the abandoned princess of a kingdom that didn't exist in this world and that your mother was a commoner, he tells you,
"Oh, darling, that's nothing to be ashamed of. I will always love you even if you are a peasant."
THANKYOUUU
Halloo, can I request hcs of characters's habits or actions they unconsciously do or show that they care for the reader?? Can be platonic or romantic!. Any character(s) is fine! I apologize if you already did a request similar to this one 😅
hallo!!! of course, my pleasure! this is a cute prompt
type of post: headcanons characters: riddle, cater, leona, ruggie, rook, vil, malleus additional info: romantic or platonic, reader is gender neutral, reader is yuu
Riddle lets you get away with things that others can't. is it unfair? oh, yes, completely. but you've already done so much for him and everyone else at NRC, you poor thing, you deserve a break. he doesn't think much of it when you're late or wearing the wrong socks for an unbirthday party
Cater wants to spend more time alone with you. he's usually not one for such closeness, but he finds himself craving your attention more and more, and having time together, cuddling or gossiping or even just being in the same room, is like heaven
Leona starts napping in places he knows you'll find him. that one sunny spot in Savanaclaw, the corner of the botanical gardens where your alchemy class meets, your favorite courtyard... he doesn't mind being bothered when you're the one bothering him <3
Ruggie always saves you some of his food. he'll subconsciously put aside piece of chocolate or some of his dandelion stash for you, whatever he has. guys like you need to stick together to survive, after all :)
Rook always has a word of encouragement, a poem, a snack and a hug to give you when you're not feeling well. he can tell when you need him, and he'll be there, smothering you in love, before you even have to ask
Vil asks for your opinion before making decisions. what do you think about this color on him? how does this line sound? what about this photoshoot, which set of pictures do you prefer? he cares about what you think more than he'd ever admit
Malleus waits for you, he always have and he always will. he's the first to notice when you're not where you should be (close to him), and the first to take your hand and make you feel wanted when you've been excluded
When the words "I love you" spill from the prefect's lips, how do the Housewardens react?
Part 2
TW: Kissing in Leona's part, mentions of insecurities (Fluff)
Part 1 (Separate): Riddle Rosehearts, Leona Kingscholar, Azul Ashengrotto
ᥫ᭡. Riddle Rosehearts ᥫ᭡.
Like the thorns on a rose bush, Riddle's words were piercing and harsh. A follower of rules and also a preacher. Even so, what rules could he apply to you? You who was from another world entirely, you who understood little of his world yet were so brave, and you who broke his rules but never angered him. He was so utterly confused. He wasn't sure what he felt, really, you were far from perfect- mother wouldn't approve . Still, he couldn' t deny how his cheeks flared up when you walked into the same room, how he'd slightly fumble his words, and especially how his warnings were much tamer when you broke a rule. It all had to mean something or maybe he was going crazy. How could he like you, even a little- but how could he not?
But he had priorities and you weren't supposed to be one of them, you weren't meant to be a worry, you weren't supposed to be anything. But he cared. So much so, he didn't mind when you broke his rules, it felt right. It was the opposite to all that he was taught, something was amiss. It felt like a fresh breath of air, akin to sunlight engulfing him in a warm embrace. He felt at peace when you were nearby, as if he needn't be so uptight. Maybe it was alright for a few rules to be broken, to enjoy what life had to offer, to allow himself to relax.
He really was grateful for your calming presence, reminiscent to a fresh cup of herbal tea- with a slight hint of cinnamon, subtly spicy. Just like you were, not quite sweet but not sour, maybe spicy was the right term? So earthy and full of life, different from his dull self. But with you near him, he didn't feel so dull even he could be fun- at least you enjoyed his presence, it was enough.
Despite that, you weren't fair- why did he feel so warm when you came close? What right did you have making his face go red, and not from anger? Who allowed you to be so ethereal?
It wasn't fair.
How you were so insufferably pretty, and the way you'd willingly spend time with such a hot-head like him, trying your best to follow the rules of his dorm. You'd try to accommodate yourself to him, you'd really do that for him? He could just melt in your arms. The way you didn't mind when he lectured you for your recklessness, not speaking up but simply eyeing him with wide eyes- how was he even supposed to speak? You'd study alongside him, let him tutor you and afterwords you'd always stay for a cup of tea. He got used to it- your company and your mannerisms. Different from him, yet truly appreciated.
It was another tutoring session when something unforseen took place. Your hand was raveled in your hair as you grumbled and groaned, you hadn't expected the study packets Riddle provided to be so difficult. You had a test in two-weeks, it was time you started practicing practical magic, lucky you having Riddle by your side.
It was a tough night full of nit-picking, you'd say he was mean but you could see how he was trying his best to be tame with his words- how they were harsh but not mean, truly, this was also a challenge for him.
Hours went by, the moon rose in the sky and you were a tired mess, at least Riddle's tutoring helped. You were just about to thank him when the words spilled out of your mouth, unknowingly. Sleepy eyes looked up at him while a soft smile played at your lips.
"I love you, you know?"
How cruel of you to simply doze of afterwards, would you not even listen to what he had to say? Maybe it was for the best, if you were awake he wouldn't be able to meet your gaze. After all, his face was even redder than before, butterflies in his stomach as he simply stood there- had he been dreaming? He hoped not, it would be sadistic of life to play such a joke. He only realized it wasn't a dream when your head touched his hand, you were asleep and comfortable- you felt safe around him, trusted him. It was endearing.
Nevertheless, it was improper for you to doze off all of a sudden. But, just for today, he'd allow you- 'rules are meant to be broken', was what you always said. This was his form of breaking a rule, such a rebel he was. His hand traveled to your face, cupping you cheek gently before he draped a blanket over you- red like roses and Riddle himself.
"I love you too.."
A whisper, he hoped you heard it. Maybe you did and maybe you didn't- he might say it once more, after you awake. Till then, just let him admire you who looked so serene.
ᥫ᭡. Leona Kingscholar ᥫ᭡.
You're really gonna keep trying, aren't ya herbivore? Always trying to push him to go to class, to set his life straight. Really, why do you even care? Every time he pushes you away, orders you to bring him a snack, tells you to remain his pillow. You do it. Why do you stay? No one else would- he's a prince, is that it? His wealth, his influence, the power he holds. Is that what you want a part of? Everyone else had, just to ditch him after.
If you do, he doesn't mind- just stay, please don't go.
He wouldn't admit it but he liked your presence, the way you constantly clung to him, tried to lend a hand to help him who was strong while you were so weak. He might just go to class now, and he does, much more than before. You're a motivation he works for, it brings a smile on your little face. He wants it to stay, he doesn't even know why.
What really affects him is when he realizes, that you stay not for his money, nor his power and influence. You just like him. You enjoy his company, him as a person, an individual. He's not 'the second prince of Sunset Savannah' to you. No, he's Leona Kingscholar to you- not a second option, not someone you'll leave any time soon, and someone you genuinely care for.
Fine then, if his herbivore stays for him- he'll work them. You are a motivation to him, with your sweet words and the time you willingly spend- he too will work for you and be your reason to remain in Twisted Wonderland.
Was it selfish of him to want you to stay, no matter the cost? Maybe, but he is a prince- some habits don't leave, especially not when he's found his reasoning to move forward. He'll change some of his ways for you, it's cute when your face lights up as you notice him heading to class.
He doesn't change every one of his ways though. Why would he, when those ways of his allow him to see your face? You being pulled by Ruggie and towards him to wake him up, and you do- soft nothings spill from your lips as your try to wake the lazy lion before you. Of course he's awake, it's clear he is when he pulls you beside him. His weight stops you from moving, it's a usual now.
"Just stay for a bit, yeah? I promise I'll go to next class after, so just stay with me."
You do, it's comforting but so confusing. It's not appropriate for you to have feelings for someone like him, a prince of another world- you might have to go back to your won, though, you don't really want tot leave when Leona's around. It feels as though you're doing something meant for 'more than friends', something wrong. None of you confront it. It's serene in this silence, his warmth, in his embrace. It's a mutual feeling of safety, a haven. Let it last while it does, he'll make sure it's forever.
"I love you."
And the words spill out of your mouth, no ones near, just him and you. One of his eyes open, a neutral look on his face- you're not sure what to make of it. You don't have to, he's just shocked, not that he'll admit it. He didn't expect his herbivore to be so bold, he likes it, he likes you- loves you too. A grin soon flashes on his face, sharp canines flashing before he pulls you closer. You know what he's insinuating, you abide. He has a hold on the back of your head, hand intertwined in your hair.
It's a surprisingly soft kiss, it makes you want to melt- this is his answer, his reciprocation to your declaration of love. He's too smug to say anything.
Then the both of remain, safe in each others embrace. Your legs are entangled and chest touching the other's, you both relax.
"Love you too herbivore."
It's fleeting words, so soft that you barely heard them and if you did, you're not sure it's reality. As you seem to doze off, there's one thing in your mind. Where else would you go other than his embrace? This was your home.
ᥫ᭡. Azul Ashengrotto ᥫ᭡.
A swindler in the flesh and a contract that binds one to the other. Azul wishes it were that easy, but it's not. The last thing he wishes for is your hatred, you're already wary of him. The interactions he does manage to secure, somehow quite frequently, always render you even more skeptical of him. So guarded and cautious, his reputation's not the best but he isn't a monster, so why are you always scurrying off? Just let him speak, please?
But fate has another plan in mind for you always seem to bump into the swindler that you seem to avoid so- match made in heaven? As if. You won't believe his sweet lies, you won't sign a contract with him- but that's not what it's about. He doesn't wish for a contract, just some of your time.
As your interactions with him increase, you're introduced to very many versions of Azul. Being a swindler was just one part of him, the one that made wary. Nonetheless, he wasn't a monster- quite sweet actually, once you spent the much needed time with him. Words were exchanged, and you were warming up to him, slowly but gradually. Placed on his palm is your trust for safekeeping, you hope he doesn't break it.
As time goes by, you realize the swindler isn't at all what he seems- he has his own walls guarding him, his own insecurities. It's not what you expected, yet it adds to his character- it makes him human, he has a heart. The parts he hides are what attracts you to him- he sees it as a moth to a flame, hiding his failures. Yet, you look at it as a bee to a flower, so dainty a bond but so sweet.
Days go by and you notice how shy he can be, the smallest things can fluster him who seemed so sly. It's endearing, really. Your walls slowly break down, revealing your true person while he allows you to see glimpses of his own self, slow but steady. You don't mind, you both can take your time- walk hand in hand towards trust.
It's another night in his office, spent with him working on contracts. He truly is a hard worker, ambitious too. You admire those qualities, maybe not all the work he does but him as an individual is what you like. You don't seem to notice how the three words roll off your tongue, hand tangled in his locks of gray, seemingly playing with his hair; until you do, in fact, realize.
"Azul, I love you.."
Ink is spilled everywhere, the black coating the table and contracts on it. The pitter patter of the liquid allows him time to realize what you really said.
Those words that spilled of your tongue- so sugary sweet, could it be true? No contract needed, no form of force just his presence alone would suffice? He was enough.
His hand clutched yours tightly, ocean eyes looking up at you from his seat, tears spill from his eyes. He was so vulnerable in that moment, you found his true self as he had found yours. It's a nod from you that shows him that it's not a joke but reality.
"I-I love you too.."
He fumbles the words out too, a faint blush coating his cheeks as he looks away and to the ground. A giggle escapes your lips as you plant a kiss on his cheek.
Maybe the swindler was swindled by your love, except there was no catch- just your love, all for him.

TW: Flirting and a few suggestive comments (Mainly fluff)
There you sat in the botanical garden, under the shade of a tree as the sunlight peeked through the curtain of green. The warmth was welcomed and very much needed, it felt so serene to simply sit there in the garden. The scent of herbs played at your nose all while your legs went numb.
Why?
Simple, the lazy lion was napping, and you were the lucky one chosen to be his pillow. You sighed, unable to get up, his weight stopping your body from moving.
"Leona, it's been an hour, get up." You said, trying to shake the lion awake. As you did so, his ears twitched in response as he let out a small grumble.
"Maybe later, stay put for now..." He replied, one of his eyes opening as a smirk played at his lips. His head rested between your thighs and on your stomach, his weight literally putting your legs to sleep.
Thinking back, maybe it wasn't a very calming scene when your legs were numb, but at least your surroundings were serene, right?
You sighed, trying to move your legs, violently shaking him. Your hands pushed at his toned arms, trying to push his weight off yourself.
"Leona, get up, my legs are numb." You said, your voice holding annoyance, your hands still trying to push him off your legs. One of his eyes opened, an amused smirk playing at his lips.
"Herbivore, you're gettin' way too comfortable 'round me.."
His words contained amusement as a smug grin played at his lips. You were sure something was bound to happen now, the grin he had on his lips hinted that he was ought to do something now.
You weren't really sure exactly how it happened other than the sudden feeling of his hands clasping around your waist. Yet, just a moment later, there you lay underneath him, his vibrant eyes staring into yours for just a second, before he lay on you.
He simply pulled you underneath him, laying on top of you, restricting any movement. You could feel his warm breath on your neck, your legs entangled. A small blush painted your face as you tried to speak. Yet, for some reason your voice wouldn't come out.
"I told ya to stay still for a bit longer, but you're an impatient herbivore.." He said not long before he chuckled, slowly rising up.
Now there he was, pinning you to the ground. Your wrists were in his grasp being pinned by your sides with force, not enough to hurt but enough to restrict any movement. He grinned noticing your expression, his sharp teeth peeking out.
"Hm? Herbivore, why're ya so red? Flustered?" He leaned closer, his face nuzzling in the crook of your neck, his lips pressing a fleeting kiss on the sensitive skin.
"Guess I made ya speechless? That's alright, you'll make plenty noises for me later. For now, I'll relish in your silence.." He teased before fully laying on top of you, using your body as a pillow, as he drifted off to sleep. All while you were left there, your body struggling under his, your face burning up from his words.
The scene remained serene, the leaves on the trees fluttering in the wind, silence enveloping the garden as you lay there, under him.
He may have slept for hours, you weren't sure, your mind was running a bit too fast for you to notice. The close contact wasn't something new, but the way he said things always left you so vulnerable.
Everything was serene, the garden, the wind, and him. Everything except you
No, you were far too flustered.
You were speechless...
IMAGINE ...
... Leona and Malleus literally fighting over Yuu's attention and love whilst Yuu watches, trying to break up the fight not knowing that the two of them are courting her right now. But Yuu still tries to intervene and the other Dorm leaders have to hold them back bc they know what's happening unlike Yuu.
YOU DECIDE WHO WINS YOUR HEART DARLING!

-- Leona instructed them using only chess movements of course. He cycled through the pieces according to which way they needed to move, guiding them through a lesser-known section of Night Raven College. Yuu used the large tiles underneath their feet as the “board”, while the man teased in their ear about how they needed to “work on their memorization.” They could practically hear him smirking through the phone.
“Listen, my memory is just fine. Sorry if I only remember things that are actually relevant to-” They grunted, colliding into a dusty candelabra as they turned the corner.
“Heard that. Maybe watch where you're going too…” The man droned as if he could actually see what happened. “Shut up.” They looked up, finally spotting the familiar hallway that Leona had described. It looked similar to the alchemy room that was used for classes, but run down, abandoned, with ivy snaking up a dried up fountain. “Don’t need you anymore. I found it.” They ended the call, cutting off Leona’s next quip with a press of a button.
There was a small bloop as Leona hung up too, a few feet away. His arms were crossed, leaning against the stone wall beside the iron wrought door. He was wearing his usual uniform, dark waves flared around his shoulders. He slid his phone into his pocket, smirking down at them as he stepped from the shadows. “You.”
“Lion.” They rose a brow at him, no idea what his intentions were. After potions class he had requested that they meet him here. Since he had missed so many of his classes recently, he had been forced to retake some lessons with the first years. They rolled their eyes, having the luck of getting the man as their lab partner. “Your awful eager to get to work on our assignment all of a sudden, what’s the deal?”
The man tilted his chin in the air, a glimmer in his eye. “That’s not why I brought ya here, Partner,” Leona explained no more, opening the door for both of them to come in.
As they slid inside they wracked their brain to figure out what the hell he was talking about. “O-kay…”
The door closed by itself with a loud creak, making Yuu jump.
There was so much to take in. Shelves and shelves of endless magical and medical ingredients. Rows of herbs and house plants spilled over the counters and dangled from pots that hung from the ceiling. Some were so overgrown to the point they looked like they sprouted from the walls themselves. The whole room was a circular shape and reminded them of what it might be like to be inside of a giant tree, the textured walls making them wanna run their fingers down the grooves.
“Whoa,” Yuu gasped. “...From the outside this place looked abandoned but-” They ran a knuckle across a potted bird of paradise leaf, before sticking their finger in the soil. It was damp, seemed someone had watered it recently. “...Who even tends to this place?”
“.Things aren't always what they appear.” He smirked at their bewilderment. “No idea. But, I’ve seen a few of the teachers sniffing around here. Crewel taking his smoke break.” The man sauntered near the back, leaning against an alchemy table. Leona’s eyes followed their movements as they wandered around the room. “Why? Ya worried about all the plants?” He mused.
“Well, yeah. It’s my job according to Crowley.” They furrowed their brow like it was obvious. “They…have feelings too.” They walked over to a violet plant on the counter, running a fingertip over one of its unopened purple buds. “...in a way.”
“Feelings, huh?” Leona’s deep voice echoed, it was so sound-proof in the room they couldn’t even hear the normal buzz of activity back from the halls. Everyone was scrambling to get ready for Halloween after all. They had to get back to the Ramshackle soon, to get Grim and themselves into their costumes. Come to think of it, didn’t Leona too?
For some reason, they thought back to their first day working in the botanical garden at Night Raven College. “...Maybe that’s why I volunteered to take over most of the gardening jobs at school...” They scoffed, recalling the whole ordeal and Crowely’s early treatment of them as a glorified janitor and gardener. “...Hmph.” They lowered their hands from the plant, propping them on their hips.
The man's ears perked up. “Really?” He tapped his chin, a half-cocked smile as he looked at them. “And what does a flower think about, hm?”
Yuu let their head fall back in dismay, giving him an exasperated look. “It’s not like that. I’m not saying they have feelings like people or animals. I’m saying...when properly taken care of, being around plants is kinda…nice. Comforting, I guess. You can hear them if you listen.” They grinned over at him before closing their eyes, laying hands on the base of the violet plant in front of them. “You can feel them move, kinda like a little heartbeat… A small, incoherent murmur of contentness. A baby, knowing nothing but hunger, thirst, and wanting attention.” They mumbled out loud. “They like it when you talk to them…”
They huffed and opened their eyes when they sensed the man close behind them, craning to look over their shoulder at the same flower they were, the ends of his braids brushing their cheek.
The warmth of his chest soaked into their through their clothes as he snorted at their theory. “The oxygen from the plants…it’s just helping you think clearer. The chlorophyll, in the cells where a plant stores its energy…is the “life” that you sense.”
“I’m passing basic biology, thanks…” Yuu wasn’t sure if the man was being an ass on purpose or just genuinely trying to explain something to them. Sometimes they still weren't sure.
He clicked his tongue in their ear, using one arm to lean on the desk as he chuckled. “Easy, tiger. All I’m saying is…you should trust what you see more. What’s right in front of you.”
Yuu furrowed their brow, glancing back at him before masking their nervousness with a laugh. They were suddenly so aware of how very alone and close they were. “Whatever.” Yuu spun all the way around to face him, folding their arms. “So…why are we here again?”
“Watch.” Was all Leona said. He grabbed a nearby flask, reaching around Yuu to do it, before moving back over to the alchemy table.
It all happened in the span of a few minutes. They tried to keep up with Leona’s movements, but he had definitely done this before, quickly and efficiently going through the brewing process of a potion, rivaling only Vil with how precise.
“Sheesh,” Yuu moved closer to observe, jumping up to sit on the counter by the table, and holding their school bag in their lap. “...talk about feeling inadequate.” They muttered, trying to mentally note everything they saw.
A few handfuls of passion flower pods, what looked like beetle shells, some bitter leaves, and a few mystery vials of liquid as well. The man broke the flower pods up with his fingers, wiping his hand on his uniform pants before using a tool to crush them into a paste with the other ingredients.
He heated it all up with a small boiler until everything dissolved, a bored look on his face as he waited for it all to be done. Strangely enough, as it cooled back down the dark paste changed to a translucent magenta color, a few bubbles bursting at the top. Finally, he took a small spoon and skimmed off the top layer of residue from the mixture, scraping it into a jar before transferring the brew to a small bottle.
“Here.” When the man was done he turned to their spot on the counter and handed it to them.
Their mind was still reeling from what they just witnessed, the curved sparkling glass still warm from Leona’s touch in their hands. “Huh?” They arched a brow at the concoction.
A low, velvety laugh escaped his lips as he tapped the bottle with his nail. “Go on, make this taste good for me. That’s what you were braggin’ in class about earlier to your little friend, weren’t ya?” Leona said simply, not elaborating on anything else.
Yuu huffed. ”W-what? You-” They shook their head. It had been just a dumb boast during Crewel’s lesson, mostly because Ace was trying to tell them that his potion was better than theirs. They brushed him off by assuring them that even though they didn’t have magic, they at least could make their potion taste good.
They were taken aback but…not surprised Leona remembered such an off-handed comment. That’s just how he was.
Always, watching them.
“But…I-I have no idea what this even is! Or if any flavor-enhancing ingredients will counteract the effect. And I have to-”
“You saw what I used- This is a simple, but potent brew.” He turned his head to the side to eye them, one of his ears flicking down. “It’s not allowed in class, of course, but…harmless, to you. Trust me. You can’t fuck up my mixture, I’ve already set it. Herbivore-proofed it, if you will.” His lids fell over his sharp green eyes, and a wry smile came to his lips. “If you can't make this simple brew taste good then, what good will you ever be at more complex potions? Hm, Herbivore?” He taunted. “Your words to Trappola will mean nothing.”
“You-” They growled, snatching the bottle from him, staring down at their reflection in the swirling pinks. Yuu knew this game, he was purposely inciting them. Unfortunately, the man knew exactly how to press their buttons and…he was right. “...Is that a challenge, Lion?”
Leona said nothing and crossed his arms, arching his brow at them. “I’m waiting.”
“Shh.” Yuu hushed him, taking off their school bag and dropping it with a clatter, still sitting up on the counter. They brought the mix up to their nose, sniffing it first. “Ugh.” They groaned and a pungent almost fishy aroma hit their nose, there was something earthy in there too, almost like coffee or tea. Probably the bitter leaves, they thought.
Against their better judgment, they took a sip on the tip of their tongue to taste it. People always looked at them crazy when they did this in class. But why would they give someone else a brew they hadn’t tasted themselves? It just made sense.
Yuu’s eyes moved over to Leona who stared back at them somewhat bewildered by this as he uncrossed his arms. “Hey, that’s cheating.” He growled.
“Wooow, look who’s all uppity about cheating now…” They scoffed. “What? I had to taste it first.” They licked their lips trying to take in the flavor best they could. The water he used to combine it was seawater, the sudden aftertaste hitting the back of their throat and making them gag. “Blech…plus I trust that you’re not gonna poision me or something.” Smirking, they turned their body toward the tint curio, crossing their legs and looking over the labels on the vials available. “Fish…” They said aloud. “Then…citrus…?” Yuu did what they usually did, working intuitively. Besides Crewel’s classes, they obviously had never received any training in this sort of thing. They went on to add plenty of lemon drops, honey, and even some star anise. Using a sweet and sour combo to mask the flavors.
All the yellow ingredients had changed the sea blue color to a slightly greener shade but otherwise…no bad reactions. “Okay,” Swirling everything around, they presented the flask with both hands back to him. “Here I think that’s bet-”
Leona wrapped both hands around the vial, sandwiching their fingers against the curved glass with his, so they both shared custody of the brew now.
“Hey-”
He kept eye contact as he forced their hands and the bottle toward his mouth. His adams apple bobbed as he bent his head back and swallowed the potion in one swig with a grumble. Leona was one of the toughest judges, especially during culinary classes.
He slowly let go, his gaze shifting to the side. “Mmm, it's…way too sweet, but not awful.”
“Well hey,” They defended themself. “Everyone likes my potions. I guess for you…more sour.” They rolled their eyes, sticking out their tongue at him before setting the empty bottle back on the table.
Leona made a sound of affirmation in his throat and gave them a small nod, one of his fangs peeking out as he smiled. “Well, well. Good job. You pass.”
“Great…Thank you, professor.” They droned sarcastically. “At least one of us will actually graduate on time then.” Yuu crossed their arms and bit their lip, smirking across at him from their vantage point.
“Tch, guess so.” The man huffed at the cheap jab, baring his teeth, but eventually smiled back too. Afterward, his eyes burned into them, lids falling lower and lower over his gaze.
“...W-what?” Yuu asked, a small bubble of warmth forming in their chest at the sudden attention.
“You…weren’t supposed to taste it too.”
“Huh?”
“The potion." Leona's breaths seemed to get heavier, wiping a bit of leftover drool from his lip. "Awe, well. It shouldn’t affect ya.” He said, then cleared his throat. Gradually, an uncharacteristic soft look crept onto his face, and his ears lowered, a tiny wrinkle forming between his brow. “Tell me somethin’ ...You skirt all around this school, worrying about everyone's business. Even worryin’ about the feelings of the littlest of flowers. But, tell me. What about…me?” He was so close now, waiting, hands firmly planted on either side of them on the alchemy table.
“You…?” They felt a bit light-headed as he drew near, processing his words. The dust motes that floated around the man’s face had a strangely prismatic sparkle.
“Well, yeah. S-sometimes.” They confessed, chuckling before swallowing the lump in their throat, and rubbing their arm furiously under their sleeve. How could they not? He had been a presence in their life for a while now. But, it was more. He haunted them like a ghost, always finding them in the strangest of places. Always bumping into them, as if it was his design all along.
Leona didn’t move at all in response, but his eyes shook behind his shadowed lids and after a second he laughed out loud. It was an unusual laugh for him, uneven and fleeting. It was…like he was drunk or something. He put his hands in the air like he had been caught, pressing his lips into a resigned smile.
“...Good.” His eyes captured theirs, silently demanding their attention. Leona’s warm breath came over their face, causing them to shiver as he whispered. “...’Cause there’s hasn’t been a single night since you stepped on my tail that you haven’t kept me awake, Beast.” It is a confession, a sin.
The man grabbed their wrist pressing their palm flat against his chest, their fingertips grazing his bare chest under his shirt. “So? C'mon now.” He panted. “Why don’t you put me outta my misery, then? Say it outloud.” Leona didn’t move after this, standing his ground. Yuu’s head was swimming. They had never seen him quite like this, begging, his rough edges so smooth. “Yes. I…do think of you, Leona But-” The words they had kept down for so long finally regurgitated, leaving a sweet taste in their mouth as their body grew warm. “I’m just a nobody, why do you-.”
Leona was quick to scoff at their answer. “And…?” He whispered, inhaling deeply as he moved even closer, tail flicking behind him. One of his arms snaked around their waist, catching them from falling back against the table, the glassware behind Yuu rattling.
“And everyone says I’m just the lazy dorm leader of Savanaclaw. So what?” The man buried his nose in their hair, before moving down to their ear. “...It don’t change anything.” He grumbled, his warm breath over their neck. “...You make me crazy.”
Yuu shuddered as they were seized so casually, a tingle zipping down their spine. “Oh?” Was all they could manage to get from their mouth. They removed their hand from his collar to rest on his shoulder instead, letting their fingers tangle in his messy hair.
“Just, ‘oh?’ Huh?” Leona’s chuckle echoed and he took this as confirmation, squeezing them closer to his chest. “That’s all you have ‘ta say for yourself?” His distinct cinnamon and orange cologne flooded their senses as he brought his head down to tuck into the crook of their neck. The tip of his nose traced over their jaw as he nuzzled under their chin.
Yuu sighed as their mouth fell open, heart hammering away. They let their head slump backward. What he was doing felt sacred, like a secret, they didn’t want to interrupt him, so...they allowed him to go on. With each of Leona’s ragged breaths, their chest only squeezed tighter, fingers further tangling in his hair. He tucked a few baby hairs behind their ear, moving them out of his way to continue his exploration of their neck, leaving behind the tingle of his cinnamon scent. He treated the flesh like it was the most interesting thing in the world, retracing his movements several times as if memorizing them.
“Ah-” Yuu gasped as they were lifted from the table. They still couldn’t meet his eyes, but they held onto both the man’s shoulders for stability, squeezing their shaky knees around his waist. Their first instinct was to freeze until they realized it was…nice to be held in this way, safe in a lion’s grasp. Yuu locked their arms around the man’s neck tighter, giving him access to more of their neck, craving his further attention.
Leona arms were shaking as held them up, not allowing any space to exist between their bodies, and pressing their chest flat against his. He sighed wearily before he continued, murmuring incoherently into their skin. His voice was raspy in their ear, like a needle scratching softly against a record.
Relief.
Another shiver wracked their body as they latched their fingers onto the edges of his shirt collar. It was surreal as the man’s wet lips made contact several times on the most sensitive parts of their neck, not missing any of the exposed skin they allowed him.
Kissing felt like too weak of a word, it was much more intense than that. He was marking them.
“Mmm.” It was ritualistic and possessed as Leona mumbled each phrase against their neck in his native tongue, the occasional graze of a fang. “Ninachoweza kufikiria ni wewe tu…” (All I can think of is you…) His lips glided softly over their skin as he made his way up to their ear, his husky voice reverberating through their whole body. They knew it was for their ears only.
“Leona...” Yuu’s body went completely limp as they let him go on and on, not sure when he would ever stop. Even though they couldn’t understand what he was saying, they felt the intensity with which he held them, like they would disappear if he let go for a second.
The man panted, catching them again as the plants clinked against each other behind Yuu. “Not getting away that easily…” He chuckled. “...Tumeumbwa tuwe pamoja.” (...We were created to be together.)
The longer it went on, the lighter their head got and the weaker they became, resting their head on the man’s shoulder while he went on.
Leona in turn only squeezed them tighter. “Hakuna kama wewe.” (There is…no one like you.) His lips lingered longer and longer each time his lips closed the distance, tugging on the collar of their uniform, as if to ask permission for more.
Insatiable.
“Leona…” They said again, but their voice came out small, becoming drunk themselves on his worship. It was infectious. “What…was in that potion…?” They whispered as their eyes rolled up to the skylight, the once moody beastmen clinging around them like a lovesick kitten.
The man only chuckled against their flesh at this question and only resumed his diligent work. “...What do ya think it was?” Yuu’s eyes widened, remembering Crewel’s lesson today on the most commonly used “forbidden” potion.
Love potion.
