Hey chat- been a minute I was going to make more lionfish for the enjoyers but my iPad decided I really wants to over heat and not work so you can get the lil paper ruff I have of them </3 there too far away to hold hands :c

I’ll remake it digitally and cleaner soon! when my iPad works… likely sketch book doodles for a while now

Lion fish merman commission! Man this boy is detailed! I am always shocked by how long lion fish take to draw every time I try, they are a lot trickier to draw than you might think at first. If you’re looking for a challenge, lion fish are the way to go.

I just love the colors and details this client chose, I adore the freckles and those piercing eyes. The hairstyle they chose was definately fun to draw, especially being a merman, it gives me the opportunity to draw flowing hair that adds a lot of dynamic motion to the piece.
