there was the room where i learned that the table setting wasn’t normal, that the times were unreasonable, that the gifts didn’t have real meaning, that the plaque wasn’t common, that the letter ‘f’ meant more than ‘a’, that the money was just a statement, that the trips were for show, that the separation had broke us, that the sun was just a star, that the dog wasn’t supposed to bite, that the voices meant less than words, that the sounds shouldn’t be memorized, that the silver was worth more than the gold, and that the house was not a home.
