Chaos was all around as you now didn't have to worry about fatui but the lighting that struck.

The few fatui that were unfazed by the sudden storm fought you, your elder brother, and Dehya.

Finishing off the one in front of you, you turn to see where tighnari was and rushed to help him.

The next moments seemed to happen as if it were slow motion.

As you were running you noticed a glow coming from the around tighnari, as well as his hair start to rise in an unnatural manor.

He was about to get struck.

You ran faster to get to him.

Pushing him got of the way successfully just as the bolt touch you.

"Y/N!" Tighnari screamed as he watch you fall limp to the ground. You were body was now flowing with electricity almost like you wielded a electro vision.

"Is he alright." Dehya said as she saw what happened from afar.

"He will be alright, no need to worry he just needs some rest. If he let me get struck I'd probably still be standing but I don't think his body could handle it." Tighnari explained while laying your head on his lap.

"Idiot" he muttered under his breath.

You woke up with a groan as you tried to sit up but a force stopped you.

"Stay down and try not to move." Tighnari said pushing you down.

You opened your eyes to see you were in the room where hypasia was sleeping.

Coming to your senses you started to feel you body. Everything was in pain. It hurt to even breathe.

Lifting your head slightly to see you torso wrapped in cloth and your finger tips were burnt black on one side while streaks on gains were lead into to it.

You groaned again alerting tighnari to come to your aid.

"What did I just tell you, stay still." He half heartedly scolded you. "You an idiot ya know that. Your my kid brother, I'm supposed to be saving you. Never put yourself in danger. Do you hear me."

You tried to say yes but your voice didn't come through, you tried nodding but decided not because he said don't move.

In the end tighnari took your silence as you understanding and continued to care for you as he always had.

Caught in the middle of a battlefield was not the ideal place to be especially for you, kokomi's guard dog.

It was hard to tell you was on your side and who wasn't.

The sound of swords clinging and people screaming messed had your head spinning.

"Stay Strong." You heard your brothers booming voice above everything.

You ran to him.

Just in time to see a arrow go through his chest.

You shot up from your makeshift bed in your tent.

Gorou's tent was right next to yours and you couldn't shake the feeling that he was still hurt.

Walking into his tent you see him sleeping peacefully, you were going to tip toes back to bed when he stopped you.

"What are you doing up Y/n? " he asked goggly still clingying on to sleep.

"I had a bad dream." You mumbled the last part but gorou still heard you.

"Wanna sleep with me. No nightmare would dare scare you when you big brother is here." He said scooting over to give you room.

You gladly joined him.

For the rest of the night you slept peacefully.

You shot up from your bed but the room looked unfamiliar.

The room you were in had light blue walls with white tile floors.

You were in watasumi shrine.

Not feeling like you back to sleep you got up. Wrapping yourself in a blanket as you got up you ventured outside of your room.

When you reached the main foyer you say kokomi sitting on a couch she looked sad.

Approaching her you saw she was holding a journal.

Your brothers journal.

It wasn't a dream.

Sitting in your engawa you were talking to your father about your mothers disappearances.

Your father wrapped his arms around you pulling you into a nuggie.

"You said you wanted to help and you will in the most flamboyant way possible." He exclaimed as you struggled to get out of his grasp.

"But why not get an actual girl."

Tengen looked like a light bulb went off in his head and ran off without explanation, leaving you to question his thought process as you got ready to go to the red light district.

You were now in a room with tanjiro, zenitzu, and inosuke.

'They aren't girl's' you thought as you glared at your father as if he could read your thoughts he returned your glare with a gaze of his own, Basically saying ' don't even'.

Scoffing, you barely pay attention to the little speech he was giving you 4.

"Dammit, why do I have to dress up." You mumbled standing next to you father in a dress. You did your own makeup cause tengen can't do it for shit.

After tanjiro you were next to get sold.

"The man that just brought you is not in a building with your mothers so I want you to find any information you can about the head konkubine." He mumbled into your ear as he pushed you forward towards the man.

Spending a few days in the red light district you could tell something was off.

From the way the girls acted and what they said behind closed doors. You fit in perfectly and knowing that you decided to act.

Looking through each door of every building seemed pointless especially cause you werent even in a building with your mother's but surprises can happen at any time.

You opened a door with a lot of fabric in every direction similar to a spider web and at the center was you mother makio.

"Mom." You said quietly running to you and taking the fabric off her mouth.

"Y/n why are you dresses like that." She said chocking through a laugh.

You seriously debated walking away.

"You don't know any of them?" Said a girl to which her friend shook her head. "Okay, I'll tell you just one, the most famous story... Hanako of the toilet."

In the third stall from the end of the girls' bathroom on the third floor of the old building ...You'll find Hanako-san. She'll grant one wish to anyone who summons her spirit... But in exchange, that person will have to give up something precious.

To summon the ghost, knock three times...

A girl followed the rumor, knocked on the bathroom stall 3 times, and muttered 'her' name.

"Hanako-san, Hanako-san. Are you there." She said nervously. The stall door was grabbed by a hand and slowly creaked open.

"Yessssss I'm heeeeere." A voice said opening the door all the way showing that it is empty. The girl continued to stare at the door as if something or someone was going to appear.

After a few moments of waiting she relaxed a bit. "Oh good, I just imagined it." She said to herself.

A hand lightly grabbed her shoulder.

"Over here." It said making the girl jump and turn around in an attempt to protect herself swinging her arms to it the thing.

"NOO!" She screamed as she turned ready to hit the creeper. Only for her hands to phase through the 'person'.

She turned away from it and ducked while the person laughed at her.

'That's a boy's voice?' She thought to herself.

"Are you okay?" a different voice said.

'Now it sounds like a girl...kinda.' She thought looking to her side to see a little boy, but not in a school uniform like the rumor said. The girl retreated to the other side of the room.

"A see-through body. Ghostly orbs. And a really old uniform... Y-you're..." She said shakily.

"We're supernaturals." The ghosts said in unison. "No. 7 of the school's seven mysteries. Hanako-san of the toilet." Hanako said sitting on the top of the toilet while the little girl hid behind his leg while hugging it.

"I'm Mamoru," The ghost child said curiously. "Nice to meet you." they both said.

"You're Hanako-san..? N-No way! Where's your bob cut and your red skirt? You're a boy, and also why is there a kid." She stuttered out looking between the two before her.

"That stuff's not in style anymore. You can call me Hanako-kun if you want."

"SUPERNATURAL PHANOMENONA FOLLOW TRENDS?!" the girl shouted causing the little ghost to cower behind Hanako-kun.

"Yes, I am a boy. But other than my gender, all the rumors you heard were true." Hanako-kun stated with open arms as 2 ghostly orbs were above each hand.

"THAT STILL DOESN'T EXPLAIN THE CHILD." She yelled pointing to the child hugging the Hanako's leg. Hanako looked down with a smile on his face as the boy hugged tighter.

"he's a different rumor that's not very popular." He said patting the boy's head. "Anyway, for the right price, I will grant the wish of whoever summons me. You have a wish don't you let's hear it." The girl looked deep in thought at what the boy said. That looked turned into a horrified face as she said.

"And you're sure... You're not just some pervy creeper ghost?" Hanako was hurt by this and grabbed the little boy's hand.

"forget it, goodbye." Hanako's voice was weary as he slowly floated back to where he came from while picking up the kid who only looked back at the girl.

"I WAS KIDDING! I THINK A BOY HANAKO-SAN IS TOTALLY AWESOME." The girl yelled out desperately beaconing him to come back. The little boy giggled and wiggled in Hanako's grip to be put down. Once he was down he began hovering around the two still giggling.

"Awesome... Okay tell me your name and wish." Hanako said, with a pen and paper smiling happily.

'he's surprisingly shallow.' she thought. 'and the kid is... being a kid guess.'

"yes sir! Nene Yashiro, from class 1-A of the high school division! I want my crush to fall in love with me immediately~." she said fantasizing about all the scenarios in her head coming true.

the little boy looked up back in forth between the two teens not understanding what was going on.

"Yashiro... got it. And your wish is romantic fulfillment, And the other party's name?" Hanako said writing down everything Yashiro said.

"Minamoto-senpai. He's a second-year! He's handsome, smart, and nice to everyone. He's just amazing. He's the prince of the whole school!" She said dreamily rambling about her crush.

'a crush?' the little boy thought, he couldn't completely understand the concept of liking someone but he was willing to learn.

"I see..." Yashiro was showed a picture of the alleged prince of the school to the two apparitions. "Got it. I'll grant your wish." Han

"So how do you grant wishes, Hanako-san? Do you have special magical items or something?" Yashiro said like a child who saw their favorite toy.

"I sure do. I have something incredible."Hanako said to which Yashiro replied with the word incredible.

"Here."Hanako reached into his pocket pulling out a torn and worn-out book. 'Methods of love, hundreds of strategies~ This is love' it read. Yashiro took the book 

Yashiro deadpanned looking at Hanako, upset that what she envisioned was not reality.

"Now, Now. I think you already know this... But when you seek help from a supernatural being like me, you have to pay a suitable price. If you want powers beyond human understanding, the price is going to be that much greater. So we use this which is much safer." Hanako took the book back from Yashiro and gave it to the little boy, who gladly took it and started to try and read it.

"But... What if I want those powers anyway?" Yashiro looked worried

"Well, then... I don't have any items sorry." Hanako said with a finger on each cheek cutely.

"WHATTTTT!?" Yashiro 'Is this really going to work?'

Side Quest

itto x male child reader

reader is gorou's brother

Lady kokomi decided to give you a day off cause the week had been relatively calm and you took it without question.

So you went to see... ITTO!

You and Itto were in the forest looking for Onikabuto beetles when You got distracted.

You saw a fox run past you and you decided to follow it.

"Wait up Mr. Fox" You cried out to which the fox stopped for a second to look back at the boy then continued on his way.

It was almost as if the fox was leading him somewhere.

The boy ran until he was tired and when he stopped so did the fox.

When he caught he breathe was looked up to see the fox right in front of his face. He jumped back in surprise and so did the fox.

"Wait I didn't mean to scare you Mr. Fox." The fox turned away and started to run again but not before catching a glowing bug and eating it. The fox had markings the glowed after eating the bug.

It looked so pretty. The pretties fox you'd ever seen

You started to run again but was picked up by mystery hands.

"Why'd you run off lil bud."

It was itto.

"I was following a fox." You pointed in the direction you were about to go.

Itto looked all around in confusion before putting you on his shoulders.

"C'mon lil guard I still have to find an Onikabuto to beat yours." He boasted tilting his head back making you grab his horns so you wont fall.

"Really we've been at this all day and not once have you beat me. I'll remain undefeated 76 to 0." You shot back. As Itto walked to a different spot to find "better" beetles, you looked back to the fox sitting while still glowing.

"Heyyy don't under estimate me, I'll win just you wait." Itto whined, snapping you out of your graze. "whatever you say" You mumble out slowly moving your gaze from the fox to in front of you.

The day continued as Itto kept losing and the score was now 156 to 0. For like the fifth time Itto suggested going to find more beetles.

On you way to get more beetles (for Itto to lose with) You saw the glowing bug. Forgetting all about the beetles you went to get the bug and promptly ate it.

"Whatcha munchin' on bud." A voice said over your shoulder

"NotHIng." Your voice cracked as you jumped back in surprise. I up at Itto behind you, you see the sun starting to go down. Fearing a scolding from Gorou and Itto's prying nature you say "Ihavetoyousorry" and run off before itto could say anything else.

Getting home and in bed was no problem, Not even with Gorou's protectiveness

Laying in bed you couldn't sleep. Not cause you weren't tired but because you weren't feeling well, but eventually you went to sleep after seeing a siloute of a fox turn into a woman.

When you woke up you were sick.
