Do you think some higher being gives humanity a plague for every 100 years of human hatred towards each other and sends them again and again because we can't get a clue and help each other instead of looking for other reasons to hate?
Tried to draw megamind in math class without a reference instead of paying attention
I JUST SAW SOMEONE COMPARE DONNIE TO MEGAMIND OMG THEY WOULD BE BEST FRIENDS
This is when I was trying to figure out which Halloween costume to wear two days before Halloween (spoiler alert: I couldn’t make any of them in time lmao)
After months, the villain finds the hero, but upon arriving at his home, he discovers the hero in a stained robe, baby food splattered, huge dark circles under his eyes, and a non-stop crying baby. The only thing the hero says is, “My wife left me.”
megamind is one of the greatest animated films of the 21st century, one of the funniest films of all time, one of the greatest superhero movies and satires ever made, and was a gift from god in heaven unto humanity, and all current events are just punishment for us failing to appreciate god’s gift back in 2010
If you don't wanna miss out on another "Megamind" or "Atlantis", go and watch "Spies in Disguise". I feel like it has to be more acknowledged.
Look at how they massacred my boy
And that's a fact

I'M DONE WITH THIS COLORWHEEL TREND 😭
You can find the full res on my P4tre0n!
where Megamind is still doing supervilliany things like trying to take over the city, robbing banks, creating over the top schemes with way too many stages to defeat Metroman
BUT
He’s also a favourite of many Metro City citizens because he is always willing to drink his Respect Women Juice™ and always down to bat for the underdog.
Being followed by a creep? The invisible car is there to offer you a ride home and Megamind’s pointing a weird-looking gun at the creep.
Your boss giving you the chills? All his dirty laundry is all over the web and his entire bank account has been donated to charity.
Trying to escape an abusive environment? Knock on the ‘Secret’ Lair’s door and he’ll get you an entirely new living arrangement, a restraining order and enough money to get you back on your feet.
Need medication that you can’t afford? Megamind just robbed a pharmacy and his physiology doesn’t agree with human medication.
Megamind gives away free mini De-Guns that dehydrate people for half an hour since it acts as an excellent deterrent. (He somehow managed to argue it into legality by comparing it to Mace.)
Roxanne makes exactly one mention of Hal the cameraman not taking no for an answer before she gets a new cameraman the next day who is exceedingly polite towards her and goes pale whenever Megamind looks at him.
Megamind may have been raised by criminals but he was raised by criminals who were mostly victims of circumstance and thus gave him standards.
what makes me so sad about Megamind (the character) is that he was a perfectly normal and good person when he was born, he just happened by complete chance to end up in a fucking prison and be raised like a criminal just bc he looked different and EVEN BEFORE he decided to become the villain on purpose he was just trying to fit in and make people like him and show everyone that he’s a cool and decent person, despite GROWING UP IN A PRISON AMONG CRIMINALS like he is such a good sweet person who spends his whole life trying to convince himself that he’s a bad person just bc everyone sees him that way when he’s NOT
you know what I just realized is that there’s a scene early on when he’s a baby where a group of the inmates are showing him flashcards and showing him that robbers are good and cops are bad and like it’s meant to be a funny scene bc obviously “robbers are bad and cops are good” but rewatching it I was like man those guys are right cops really DO suck maybe they were a better influence on him than we were lead to believe lol
I almost spit out my drink😆

Ok so I have developed a new obsession and my lizard brain has drawn a connection between 4 unrelated characters and this paired them together.
They’re all
Skinny
Tall
Related to the color blue
And have some trauma
And I redrew each of em
We’ve got
2D from Gorillaz
Edd from Ed, Edd, and Eddy
Huggy Wuggy from Poppy Playtime
And
Megamind from, well Megamind
The way my brain rationalized these was that they should each be from a Different form of media such as a band, cartoon, video game, or movie.
And now I present you my favorite work I’ve created of these boys so far
Since I love Gorillaz
Is it just me or are the new tumblr users convinced there's a penalty of some kind for using this site like it's meant to be used?

Everyone knows the movie Megamind, right?
I liked the trope of goofy villain who was not, in fact, good at being bad. Then he falls in love with someone and chooses to stop trying to be bad.
I also say "trying" because what the movie showed us that Megamind wasn't, in fact, bad. He was "given" that role and when he realised he couldn't escape it, he embraced it.
But what if that trope was done more seriously?
I'm not talking about Megamind specifically. It could be used for any original story or ff, but it could work.
One where a villain, and I'm talking about a real villain, one that has done some serious shit, meets someone new.
Or maybe a new group of people. This could work as a romantic trope, found family or both.
And this person or people they meet is/are... a bit strange maybe. They are not evil, not even bad, but they have an odd moral standing. They are good with some people, with those they care about, maybe they are even involved in some charities, not even to commit fraud, but because they genuinely want to help.
But they also understand that sometimes, people do awful shit, sometimes a person is forced to act and do horrible things. Sometimes people choose to step over some heads in order to reach some goal. And it is... It's not "ok", but they get it and keep on living.
And sometimes, when they feel cornered and/or with no option, they are also willing to crush some skulls themselves.
And when this villain starts hanging out with them, they start finding things they have in common and start enjoing their time togheter. Inadvertently, villain starts remembering what it was like before, how he felt, how he acted, the things that mattered before, his main, true goal and the actual reason villain is doing all he's doing, the reason they've done everything they've done.
They also find out that this new person (or people) get it too. Maybe they won't help, or maybe they will, but that's not what's important.
And without realising, villain starts relaxing around who they've met. They start talking more, they start laughing and smiling and acting more goofy.
They don't change. They still are who they are and still act the way they've always have. But, when they are with that someone, they are happier, and when they are asked to stay for lunch they do so knowing that it's ok, they are welcome, there's no ulterior motive, they are safe. When they are taken to a party or a birthday they have fun. And everyone there knows who they are and what they do. Half of them think it's justified, the other half doesn't care. And when they are asked to help with some cause, they don't mind. It's always fun when that person is around (besides, who wouldn't want to play with the pups on the animal shelter).
They are still a villain, though some people have started labeling them as a "renegade", a "rogue" or his least favorite "anti-hero". They are not. They're still a villain, they just have little... moments, reserved for a select few.
Those few keep them centered, they help villain to remember their goal and prevent them from falling pray to a futile seek for power or control. They are a villain, they just have their priorities clear.
And on the day to day, what if they started smiling more? What if they remember to thank the cashier or the waitress in a cafe? They know what it's like to work serving people who treat you like another piece of furniture in the restaurant. What if they, sometimes, give some spare change to a homless person on the street, or if they donate some old clothes from time to time? They've got no use for them.
They are a villain. Some even would say THE villain. They are not good. They just... know how it feels when you are tired or feel a bit... helpless.
They forgot, for a long time. But they remember now. They were reminded.
It's not sympathy and definitely not empathy, obviously. What are you even saying?
They are bad, ruthless, cruel...
But sometimes they remember how it was before for them and just for a moment they simply... forget that they are bad. It's nothing important.
And if it makes them just a little warm, a little content and maybe... proud, when they do it; when they see the other smile at them for being able to share whatever this is; when they make a small difference for someone they don't even know, well... That's noone business.
I heard someone say that the only blue life that matters is Megamind and like... I could not agree any more 👌
one thing i think is funny is that, when you really think about it, a lot of heroes in movies aren't really heroes, but simply people with influence (usually someone who has superpowers or advanced tech and weapons) who effed up really bad, and then the movie is them having to work to fix their mistake. but they get called a "hero" because their mistake had world-ending, life-threatening consequences for civilians, and then they fight to make sure that the civilians don't suffer for their mess up.
for example. in megamind, who does the true villain wind up being? titan. and titan wouldn't exist if megamind hadn't created him. however, because megamind fought and defeated titan, he's seen as a hero, when really the problem wouldn't have existed if not for him.
in spiderman: far from home, mysterio becomes a villain because he was screwed over by an avenger. so now another avenger has to fight him to stop him from hurting people. but if it weren't for the "superheroes," mysterio wouldn't be a threat in the first place
in shazam: fury of the gods, literally the whole movie exists because he broke some sacred staff, and now the world is in danger because his actions wound up releasing some ancient gods into the human world.
don't get me wrong, i love these movies (and all the others i simply didn't feel like listing rn) but it's just funny to me to think about. these heroes get praised for "saving the day" but it's the heroes' fault the day even needs saving
Megamind would absolutely LOVE the new year fireworks
kelvin doodle dump, plus fucked up spongebob and megamind pitbull mix🤞
i love them sm🙏
