HORRIBLE yapbabblingramble tea, an insight into that girl i guess.

well first of all,,, let us all appreciate the color grading here for a sec. they didn't have to go out of their way and make every frame as warm as summer pie but they did, thank you tetsuya nakashima.

idkk!! this movie has always been that internet underground (underground?) internet niche cult classic. kamikase girl reals tits and bits aesthetic crumbs feed my eyes well but according to trustmevro.com like, only 1 of 10 people who recognize, OMG THATS NANA, actually watch nana. brought tears to my eyes and cancer to my spleen.

kamikaze girls isnt about day in a life of a country side lolita girl. the movie is momoko's and the story revolves around her. she weaves and sown her own story instead of being a stereotype of a character in set in an environment. the movie is about momoko - the character, the character that without her frilly dress or sweat treat for dinner, without ichigo would still held up as her own person.

what i like about the film in particular is that it doesnt has any cliches, at least not the bad ones. characters doesnt chose to do something because its typical of the narratice. this leave the story unpredictable, the characters fleshed no matter how much screen time they recieve.

the artistic directions is very intentional. the entire movie is almost exclusively narrated by momoko and mostly center around her. but as watchers we hardly have any insight into her innerworkings, why she act the way she did. this is representative of how most people perceive the present: center around them, the past is cartoonish, other people are queer (pun intended?) confusing.
