• as a metkayina you were very intrigued on how different the sully family looked

• not because of some of them having 5 fingers or such but because of how diverse they are compared to your clan

• i’m talking about the way they do things, their culture and such

• so you would always bombard the sully’s with questions

• little did you know you had caught one of the brother’s attention

• he couldn’t help but stare at you

• you just looked so… beautiful

• he was curious about you too so he had tried to get to know you

• which had went very well because you and your siblings tsireya and aonung taught them how to swim and breathe well

• it took a while but they had all managed to get the gist of successfully

• you guys would become very close friends, always walking together next to ocean talking and getting to know each other even more

• you both grew to know and love each others differences

• these few months he had started to develop feelings for you

• he would always give you loving stares whenever you spoke to him

• which you were so oblivious to

• lo’ak would always feel like throwing up when he saw neteyam looking like a lovesick puppy around you

• he forced neteyam to confess but he just couldn’t

• he didn’t want to ruin the friendship by you not reciprocating your feelings that had for you

• safe to say you were the one who confessed to him

• Neteyam is truly an amazing bf to have

• like it literally warms your heart

• he always asks how you day is going, if you’re feeling well

• he also almost always asks for consent to touch you #consentisbeautiful

• he just doesn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable

• and you appreciate that a lot but sometimes you’d wish that he’d just go for it instead of beating around the bush

• but as time comes he will hold your hand without hesitation

• as we all know he is mostly labelled as the golden child and the eldest sibling so he always has to put a responsible and discipline façade on

• but with you he is so vulnerable

• but don’t expect this to happen right away

• it will take a very long time to be open around you because he is wary that he might scare you or be judged away with all his imperfections and flaws

• but you’ll love him all the same

• so the fact that once he tells you anything and everything about him means that he trusts you on a whole another level 100%

• he loves hugging you

• like it brings him so much comfort so expect him to always hug you

• just imagine him holding your waist his face in the crook of your neck while your arms are tightly hooked around his
