Mutual Killing Game - So? The canon verse for the events of Danganronpa V3. This will also probably be the general verse that I use for interactions within the killing game, even if it’s an alternate timeline. ( at least until I have enough branch out to create a different verse for it. )
A dating game? Really? When Monokuma announced that they were all brought here for a game and then informed that instead of a killing game they would be playing a “dating game” to determine whether or not people could leave? She is both shocked and... well, not. Nothing about the situation could make this any weirder, so? Might as well at least see if he’s telling the truth. Time to get a date, and hopefully~ escape this crazy place.
Just another Ultimate brought into Hope’s Peak Academy - the Ultimate Pianist. She’s a rather friendly individual and a rather passionate one, so? The school life rather suits her. And all these new, equally passionate, people? Are actually someone relieving to meet. After all - she’d been teased for years for being a “piano idiot” because she enjoyed music so much that there were periods of time where she would even forget to eat or sleep because she got so distracted by the music. Finding out that others could be equally passionate about their interests? Was actually a relief.
The untalented twin of Kaede Akamatsu, Kagami Akamatsu has the looks her sister does - longer hair, kept in a braid, but? Aside from that? Identical. ( She’s a bit more pessimistic then her twin is, however. ) And more importantly? She’s a member of Team Danganronpa. In fact, whereas Tsumugi Shirogane was in charge of the script? She was in charge of picking out the cast from all of the applications.
Was it out of love or spite that she actually chose her sisters video? That’s the real question. ( This verse is based off the late game spoiler that “Kaede has a twin.” Of course, it was left unconfirmed, but? Regardless - I thought it would be fun to play with the idea. )
( This verse is in connection to @chiicxne my canon kaede for this verse. )
During the events of Danganronpa V3. This is the new killing game between Ultimates, in which he’s one of the players. And? From the get go, he likes to tell people that he is not someone they should be trusting. After all: He’s already got a record - in fact? He’s already killed people. So? Why should they trust him?
Based on the mini-game in Danganronpa V3 where everyone is a part of Hope’s Peak Academy, this is where he has a rather natural school life alongside of everyone else. Of course, he’s still reluctant to actually play tennis anymore... but surrounded by these people and their talents has at least inspired a spark of interest in his own talent again. Can he truly retire so early in his life? Especially when he still has so much love for the sport?
( PRE-GAME VERSE - heavily under construction )
Having died unexpectedly, he has suddenly found himself the new “spirit detective” - a job that has been rather ungraciously shoved upon him. All in all, he’s actually surprisingly good at it. Despite his tendencies to act before thinking and throwing himself headfirst into dangerous situations that may or may not cost him his soul...
In a twist of fate, it appears his second resurrection has awakened his ancestor’s blood in his veins - an ancient bloodline that he wasn’t even remotely aware he’d had. After all: It was so remote that it was less then one percent demon blood in him... and yet, now he’s got it pulsing through his veins the same as everything else. Strange. But, he’s just sorta rolling with it now.
Yusuke has finally decided that outside of just fighting, he’s going to pick up a normal job - in fact? He eventually picked up his own noodle stand, and has been running it as a fairly successful business. And? Once he’d been doing well enough? He finally decides to buy a rather small shop. It’s not much, but it’s good enough for the former spirit detective - not to say he’s against the occasional job now and again, but he only takes the ones he wants to nowadays.
Working alongside of the Yoko Kurama can be a bit of an adventure - at least he’s always thought so. They’ve had some near misses, and some close calls that it’s never boring to be around one another.
... unfortunately, eventually, it’s one close call too many.
Having barely survived his near death encounter, he’s not surprised that Yoko thought he was dead - he thought he’d certainly been at death’s door himself. However, due to the incredibly long time it’s taken for him to recover? He hasn’t approached the other again. It’s been a difficult struggle - from his wings been riddled with holes to, in general, being unable to get far fast... surviving has been a struggle. After all, his near death encounter left him barely able to defend himself. The rest of the time he needed to recover wouldn’t come easy... or fast.
When he finally did recover, he wasn’t as strong as he once was. So? He gave his former partner distance - especially having seen the other had sorta changed his life style. He knows the old sayings about falling into your old crowd, it tends to reverse your behavior. And if the other has changed his ways, he doesn’t want to be the reason he falls back into step - however? It hasn’t stopped him from coming to events where Kurama has been. Such as going to the Dark Tournament and watching from afar.
blah blah blah
After meeting up with his birth family, Corrin couldn’t help but want to stay by their side - this was his family too, right? This was the land he was meant to have grown up with. These where the siblings he had been forcefully taken away from. This was his birthright.
It broke his heart to turn away from the family that raised him - but taking up his Hoshidian name, Kamui, he steels his heart and does his absolute best to protect his family. Both sides, if he can help it... but there is no saving everyone. And though he never meant for his returning home to hurt his adopted family as well... he knows that he’s caused them unnecessary grief.
Having decided to return with his adoptive siblings back to Nohr - after all! They may not be his blood siblings, but they’ve always been his family. But, despite this logic making perfect sense to him, it appears the king is enraged by his return.
He can’t put his finger on it. He’s unable to understand why the king is so upset by his return and continuously pushing him to “prove his loyalty” all of a sudden... But, he’s doing his best to support his family. And his family is doing their best to protect him as well.
In this verse - he’s learned that his birth name is Kamui, but usually answers to Corrin instead. His Nohrian name.
( This verse is only available upon request! I default to Birthright or Revelations usually. :’3 )
When faced with an impossible decision to pick one family or the other - Kamui makes one very important decision: He won’t chose ether side. He won’t betray ether side... and so? He and Azura make a dash for it. Leaving the area and having both sides declare him a traitor, due to his inability to chose ether side.
This eventually leads him down the path of multiple truths - things that he had never known was going on behind the scenes, and? Opens the opportunity to save all of his family, both sides, from the invisible puppet masters behind the scenes.
Fire Emblem ( crossover ) verse! To allow Kamui to interact with Fire Emblem characters from various titles. This verse is still heavily under construction!
( spoilers for birthright )
Despite Kamui/Corrin choosing their rightful family when given the chance to? Takumi doesn’t trust them. They’ve grown up in Nohr! Chances are that they’re hear to betray them, and are likely still working for the Nohrian’s they grew up alongside... and it certainly takes him a long time to change his opinion about this.
He’s reluctant to trust and even more reluctant to admit it, when he does decide to trust the other. However, when he has decided that they really are family of his - he is fiercely protective.
( spoilers for conquest! )
Understandably angry of the events that toke place after Kamui/Corrin came home... and the death of the Hoshidian queen, which he believes to have been an intentional attack... He is absolutely enraged at Kamui/Corrin for being “Nohrian”. That he would betray the people of their birth and their rightful family.
Takumi is absolutely unwilling to bend in this situation. He’s unforgiving and relentless in his pursuit.
Though it takes a while to come to the peace necessary to work alongside of them all, after a few unfortunate deaths leading to the surprising opportunity of peace... he decides to give it a chance. It was requested of him, after all. And? As things go on, he finds himself supporting this strange “third wing” stage of both sides working together. It takes a while for him to get used to the idea... but he’s actually somewhat glad for the opportunity.
Fire Emblem ( crossover ) verse - to interact with other characters from various other titles. ( under construction )
( spoilers for birthright! )
When Kamui/Corrin left their family to side with their “birth” family, Leo and the others felt understandably betrayed. They’d been nothing short of family to them and when they left - they where heartbroken and betrayed. And? Their father was quick to turn on them. . . There was little they could do in the matter, rather then fight. And though they didn’t hate them, they couldn’t forgive them ether.
Later down the verse, Leo is calmed some... and due to calming down and listening to reason when approached, he is one who manages to survive the events of their leaving. Eventually becoming the next King of Nohr. A position he had never truly expected to be taking, but? He hopes to make his family proud. Both those there, and in the afterlife.
( spoilers for conquest )
When Kamui/Corrin was seperated from them all and went to Hoshido... and decided to come back, despite everything they found out? Even, eventually, bringing back their missing sibling Azura? They’re understandably relieved. Especially given what they’re told that they found out.
However - it appears that their father no longer shows them favor. It’s strange, despite proving their loyalty repeatedly, he seems particularly cruel to them. And it’s not something Leo necessarily understands, and yet? They keep trying to help their sibling prove themselves.
Following an unlikely chain of events, unfolding since the moment Hoshido and Nohr began fighting over whose sibling Kamui/Corrin was - and having them simply refuse to take ether side and leave? It’s a slow gradual process to bring both sides together. And though some are more reluctant to accept this peace then others, it does bring both sides together. Working towards a common cause.
Fire Emblem ( Crossovers ) verse! Basically - like in Hero’s or Warrior’s, they were hero’s summoned somewhere else for a cause. ( under construction )
Pre-canon verse where Ewan is just a young man living out in the middle of nowhere with his brother. He is a good, innocent, boy who is simply trying hard not to be a burden for his elder brother. He is entirely aware of the fact that it isn’t easy to have to drop everything to raise someone else... and after their parents death? His brother has been doing everything in his power to protect and raise him.
So? He does everything he can to help around the house. And does his best to keep up with his studies, so that his elder brother has no reason to be overly concerned for him.
Unaware of why he was chosen for this particular round - it appears that Ewan was one of the “princes” summoned to the Thousand Year Labyrinth, in hopes of picking the next ruler. And whereas most of them are famous names, genius’, musician’s, ... famous people, he has none of that prestige behind his name and is unsure why he was picked.
Also, he’s one of the ones who is quick to suggest that the others all work together for this crazy event. He’s not interested in competing. He’d rather just make sure that everyone survives.
After the events of the main series - and leading into the events of the second series, this is the events after Ewan was chosen by the others to be the ruler. This would be the verse of the others supporting his rule, and him just sorta... trying his best.
Living by their motto of “Almost 100% Success Rate” - Genji and Ban are two close friends who spend most of their time living in Ban’s car, the “Lady Beetle.” They work together as “GetBackers,” meaning they get hired to retrieve things for people. They don’t steal - they only go to get back what “shouldn’t be gone” in the first place.
Leader of the Volts - one of the largest gangs in the lower levels of the Infinity Fortress, Genji is a respected and feared leaders. He is protective of his group, and has a rather... unusual ability, even by the fortress’ standards. Being able to create his own natural electricity.
And as long as he’s within the tower? It appears to be an unending supply. ( Which is particularly scary, due to the fact that being in connection to a current of electricity can even heal him from near life-threatening injuries. Causing him to recharge and his body to heal quickly. )
blah blah blah
The canon verse for the events of GetBackers. The infamous transporter with a pattern of violence - followed by strange conditions for his help on missions. He only ever does jobs that interest him, being rather uninterested in money. The reason? He’s already a doctor. He care little for money, given that he’s got plenty already. Plus, he likes to do things that make him feel alive.
“I don’t believe I can die. Thus for, I can’t.” The doctor’s immortality is a difficult thing to explain - but when it comes down to it, it’s truly just as simple as that phrase. In a world where imagination is a large part of your abilities, and your beliefs only make them stronger, as long as he never believes that he can die? He can live forever.
Pre-series. As a wartime doctor, Akabane is often put in the danger of the battle field. However, he doesn’t particularly mind - it’s part of the job. In this particular verse, he’s not overly violent yet. Despite the fact that he is strong and resourceful, he’s more interested in trying to preserve lives. Then again, this is before his “awakening” about the world - so? He’s got no need for violence just yet.
In the “Other World” - Akabane is a brilliant doctor and scientist. Part of the “Project” that set in motion the creation of another world. And one of the ones most baffled by the fact that these “creations” can pass through the gate into their world. However, due to the Witch Queen, they’ve been considering termination of the entire world... The reluctance to do so primarily rests on the fact that one of their own put their “son” in there, after their death... and they wouldn’t be able to copy that data without risking corruption.
Kazuki’s canon series verse. Having originally run his on group in the Infinity Fortress, he eventually joins the “Volts” to become one of Ginji’s “Four King’s.” And? When Ginji eventually left, he remained a part of it - though? A distant part, for a time. Eventually he left entirely, deciding that he had to seek his answers elsewhere, somehow else.
However, he knows where his answers are... he just knows he’s not strong enough to reach it yet.
In the other “World,” this human who is connected to Kazuki is actually a female. She leads a peaceful life without worry and without war. She has none of the same trials or troubles as her male counterpart from the “back-up” world, in fact? She barely knows he exists at all. She is a sweet young woman with a kind disposition.
When he awakened to a stigmata, the same was some of the others have - many things became more obvious to him. And? In this verse, he decided to keep it. This verse is still heavily ( under construction ).
Alternative path! On the off chance that Hakuryuu had decided to stick around after the events that caused him to ditch the group - of course, things are a little awkward. He did attempt to leave. But? He had been convinced to come back after Morgiana had followed after him. Things might get interesting from here on out, however? He has decided to see what sticking around does for him...
Hakuryuu has known since the fire... who the traitor was and what he needed to do. This is the main verse for this blog, and the main one for the canon series. After leaving the others, he’d made many sharp decisions in the hopes of obtaining revenge for what happened to his family. And trying to gain vengeance against those he preceived to have done him wrong... ( and those who actually did. )
This is the verse where he teams up with Judal/Judar and gains himself a second Djinn.
Refusing to give in his two Djinn’s when they became “illegal,” Hakuryuu is on the run. This is his time skip verse.
Main series verse! This will be my default verse unless requested otherwise. This takes place during the bulk of the series, but before his exile. He is a severe man, but? When it comes down to it - not entirely unpleasant. He works hard to accomplish what he thinks is best, and is consistent in working towards his goals.
He can appear unapproachable, due to his expression and the fact that he rarely gives away what he’s thinking. His speaking mannerisms... also do little to add him in this. He often appears uninterested in speaking to others. But? He is fiercely protective of his family.
The verse for prior to the main story line - so back when Hakuyuu and Hakuren were still alive. Generally speaking, this will be young Kouen’s verse.
However, this can also be his “what if” verse - assuming the verse is played as though Hakuyuu and Hakuren survived somehow.
( under construction )
The youngest Princess in the Kou Empire, Ren Kougyoku aims to be similar to her “sister” Hakuei and become a general princess. She’s even gone so far as to capture a dungeon in hopes of accomplishing this. And? She is rather powerful while wielding her Djinn.
She can seem a little cold and distant at first, however? When it comes down to it, that is a front to try to help her be a little more like her brothers. She can be very insecure and confused when it comes to certain things - however? Her heart it often in the right place. She neither enjoys war nor does she care for senseless violence. However? She will always prioritize protecting her family over all. Judal/Judar included.
Having stepped up to become the next Empress of the Kou Empire, she found herself in a position she’d never really... seen herself in. She’d had dreams of being a General, of supporting her family when they ascended to the throne . . . she hadn’t expected to become the Empress herself.
( under construction! )
Despite being the daughter of Koutoku, she was never discovered to be as such - so? A commoner of the Kou Empire, as well as the daughter of a prostitute, she has dreams of seeing the outside world. Which, it not normal for a citizen of the Kou Empire, let alone a young woman. She wants to see the outside world, she wants... more then this life. And she knows that if she stays here, she has little hope above following in her mothers footsteps.
Perhaps it’s time to travel the world and try her luck.
This is the verse that will primarily take place in the bulk of Magi - before a lot of Sinbad’s plans have been revealed. Generally, this will be my primary verse for him, unless the others are requested.
Generally speaking, Sinbad is an inspiration and surprisingly laid-back man. He appears open and genuine in most of his interactions - though that might just be because he is charming and just a little on the manipulative side. He knows how his actions are perceived, he knows what he’s doing, and he’s never lost sight of his goals. Despite how rounded a route he seems to take towards them.
Young Sinbad. Generally speaking this will be the verse i use for any part of Sinbad no Bouken, at least? Until I decide to section it off into portions. If you have any particular timeline in there you’d like to explore? Just let me know!
This is after the time skip from when Alibaba “died.” Where Sinbad now runs the Sindria Trading Company again, and the world has changed quite a bit. It appears Sinbad is still chasing after the tail end of some dream that he’s leaving unspoken... but what exactly at his plans? No one knows.
Traveling monk from the same temple as Isanami - he considers himself her big brother, and when he found out what happened? Went on a grand search to try to find her. Once he did? He wound up being recruited into the Brave’s as the “Brave of Earth.”
Brave 10 S verse! Having worked alongside of everyone for a while now - he’s become more used to his fellow Braves, even the ones he’s not entirely sure of what to think of them yet. And? More so, he’s become a lot calmer. Which is good, given that Isanami doesn’t have to threaten to not talk to him anymore to try to get him to behave.
blah blah blah
Having been trained from a young age to be a very effectent sorcerer, he is Touma’s “wage slave” - doing anything he’s told to get a quick buck. He’s quick to beg or give compliments and such in hopes of receiving free things, though he has a soft spot for his friends and such, it doesn’t make him any less stingy.
He is one of the members of C3 specifically sent out to hunt subclass. He is very strong and a little reckless. Formerly? Mikuni’s partner.
Having chosen to take the deal with the “Mother of Wrath” and become her eve, things became more complicated - after all, he has never been allowed to thin for himself. And this leads to to some confusion and... conflict with his “family,” Touma. After everything was said and done, Tsurugi isn’t part of C3 anymore in this verse - however? He also don’t know what to do without them.
Nor how to live with himself with some of the choices he’d left out of his own hands... but the guilt bears down on him relentlessly.
( Side note! My “Wrath” for this verse is: “ @chiicxne “! So whenever I reference Wrath, specifically as “Wendy” in my threads - it’s for our shared “Wrath Pair”. :’3 )
( under construction - based off of resent spoilers! )
Being in a position of importance of C3, it’s not surprising that he has his own personal agenda with what he’d like to accomplish. Nor is it truly surprising that he would use others to get there - including the boy he’s raised like “family.” He is ruthless and relentless with a rather cold outlook on vampires. Despite being a neutral party, he can’t have anything less then hatred towards them... which doesn’t look like it’s going to end well.
Especially given what C3 has done in the past, and what it appears he’s learning to try to do...
blah blah blah
blah blah blah
Bringing an engaged prince to his engagement can be more difficult then expected - especially when Crown City money doesn’t work outside of their walls, and without a single “gil” on any of them. However, a bit of hard labor helps out. And? He’s always up for camping as a cheaper alternative to staying in hotels and the likes on the way.
This is the portion of the trip at the very beginning. So far, it’s just an adventure. Nothing too big to worry about.
After the destruction of the Crown City, things change quite a bit. Noctis, the prince he’s in charge of guarding, has been declared “dead.” And though that can buy them some time to get him elsewhere, that status will only cover them for so long - so it’s time to cover some ground while they have the coverage. Unfortunately, this trip has gone bad to worse... and it has no looks of getting any better. This won’t stop Gladio from doing his best to guard the prince or the rest of the group, however.
Including hunting down Gilgamesh to try to up his game. If he’s going to guard the chosen king, he needs to be sure he’s a Shield ready for that duty.
After Noctis’ return from the Crystal/During the time he was missing. Doing his best to both train and to help settle places for refugee’s. He’s a hunter now, most of the time. But once his king returns, he quickly reunites with the others to guard him once again.
The shinobi in charge of over-seeing the younger shinobi’s training, Chojirou is often very proud of those he has worked with. Trusting them and treating them as full-blown shinobi, the moment he believes they’re ready. He wants to give all of his companions a chance to prove themselves, and won’t deny them the opportunity.
However, he is a duty bound man - if given an order, he will try to complete it. Even if it destroys him.
Despite his obvious loyalties to the village, despite his dedication to Koga, he’s unable to bear the weight of his orders. He wanted to complete them, even if it destroyed him - he’s a shinobi. He shouldn’t have an opinion. He shouldn’t be able to argue or disagree with his orders, he knows that. And yet? With those orders pointing his blade towards his loved ones... he can’t.
( under construction )
A former shinobi from Iga, back before it’s fall, Hattori Hanzou has been working for Ieyasu since a young age. And? Since then, he’s been getting used to his new Lord’s antics. He is grumpy most of the time, however? He has decided to stick around his side... Becoming the head shinobi of the Tokugawa Shinobi, and following his masters orders absolutely.
Having been ordered to help Enju in her escape, Hanzou was very severely injured. Due to that, he’s not much of a shinobi anymore. However: That hasn’t stopped his connections to his former Lord, who keeps insisting that he take land and a title as offered to him... Even though he’d be content to live as a hermit.
( under construction )
Kuroyuki was sent away from Koga at a young age, so that he might master the techniques used by another Clan. It’s a difficult arrangement, and despite it’s awful sides, he did offer himself up for this oppertunity, because he felt it was the only way that he could also contribute to guarding his dearest friend. Since returning, people often say he hasn’t “changed a bit”. A notion he finds charming, but doesn’t often comment about.
An alumni of Hope’s Peak Academy, nowadays, he finds his talent isn’t very... practical? Despite HPA’s credibility for instant success in the outside world, his talent isn’t exactly sought after. It’s alright, though. He isn’t upset or hindered by this fact. In truth, he has been hanging around campus a bit more now... considering asking for a job in the “art” portion of the school.
( under construction )
World’s most awkward human being tries to learn to human more by hanging around his friends Ikki and the Heroine. He’s not great about it sometimes, and he’s awfully busy, but he somehow finds time for them regardless. ( And Math. He’s always got time for math. In fact? He’s probably got too much time for math. )
( under construction )

The “responsible one,” Hakkai is often trying to help keep his group on task on their journey west. He is the driver, and often in charge of things like... making sure the group gets food, rest, and keeps on track. Despite this, he isn’t always the best a these tasks. He does enjoy his share of sideline events, such as sales at stores and the likes.
However, despite his appearance and his general friendly attitude, he is just as ruthless as the others in his party. And if irritated, he can even be terrifying.
It seems as though his life keeps getting thrown in strange directions - meeting a lot of interesting new characters, and wondering what exactly he’s done to deserve this amount of chaos. However, the moment he started hearing things like - “wow, i didn’t know you would associate with such people - “ Hakkai made a few choice decisions to throw his life into chaos. Moving closer to his newer friends, the ones that people were beginning to judge him for, and deciding to welcome the current “tides” life had thrown at him.
As a teacher, it has made his life a little more difficult. However, he has found very quickly that he rather enjoys just how different the others are. At least they’re not two-faced, like the people he’d been “friends” with before.
Tenpou’s verse! Still under construction - at least until I can finish his icons! And his portion in the bio.
After having been killed by Hazel when they’d met years ago - he was brought back to life, and asked to help guard him instead. It was a... strange meeting, however? It doesn’t appear that Gat has any sort of ill-will towards the bishop. Having dedicated himself to the other sense, despite facing death multiple times, and having been exiled from his tribe years ago.
Having felt drawn to Hazel since he’d met the young bishop, he’d decided to follow the other of his own accord. In this verse, he hasn’t died yet - though there are some close calls.
( under construction )
Working to try to revive the Ox King, Gyumaoh, Doctor Ni Jianyi is helping with the very taboo experiments necessary to mix magic and science together. He is modern science’s first biological engineer and a very playful man. To the point of often annoying those who work with him... but he cares very little.
In this verse he only goes by “Ni Jianyi” and will not respond to Ukoku Sanzo.
Traveling around as “Priest” Ukoku Sanzo again, he’s decided to take some direct action on his own - this is the events of Saiyuki Reload, the Manga, when he continues to run into Hazel from time to time to manipulate events and cause him to respond certain ways. He is a trouble maker and is attempting to manipulate events to that they favor him... how will it end?
Before the “Light” died out of his life. Despite not being a wonderful priest, and never being properly chosen for the scripture he now carries, he at least does a good job helping out wherever he chooses to go. He’s a bit of a loose canon, and is very dangerous... but he’s known to hop from place to place, based on his interests at the time.
The main canon route for Gojun - this is where the timeline of Gaiden happens. And prior. He’s a Dragon God, and very serious about his job as the General of the Western Army. He’s a good person, though stern. And, when it comes down to it, he wants to believe that Heaven is better then it is...
But, when faced with the truth of everything, he decides that if he can do nothing else? He will at least be a scribe for the events that take place.
Having seen the others actions - in this verse, Gojun decided to take their side during the events that took place. Once he’d been kidnapped, he’d talked to them for a while, trying to make sense of their decisions. However, having already seen some of the corruption taking place in heaven? He was a little more willing to go along with what they were saying...
It’s true. Heaven is rotting. And they might as well abandon ship before everything simply goes under.
Being reincarnated as an actual . . . dragon wasn’t what he’d expected. In fact: He’s one of few that actually retained his memories after the massacre that their grand exit had been. However, he’d been alive up there for some time still. Not for long, his injuries had been far too severe for that, but...
Nowadays, he’s doing what he can to help them, whether they remember or not. Perhaps it is repentance that he remembers, but they know nothing...
This was never the life that he’d expected he’d have - all he wanted to do was to become someone strong enough that he could protect his home village. Someone who could send them things, help them out, because they were struggling. That was why he’d left his village with his two friends... and?
When push comes to shove, he’s all that remains of their group. And his only plan of action now... is to fix the base problem. Despite how chaotic it keeps getting. And despite how badly his heart might get broken by everything that keeps happening.
Somehow being seen by Esdeath after some of his persistence, he’s managed to join the Army - in fact? He was able to join so quickly and easily because she apparently wants to recruit him for a group she’s intending to form? He’s not entirely sure. He knows a lot of people speak of her with fear, but surprisingly, she’s been very kind to him...
( under construction )
Determined to fix the problems he knows exists, Run decided he would do whatever he could to become someone of great importance - so that someday, he would be able to call some of the shots. Make some changes. Stop... future tragedies from ever happening the same way again.
This has been a bumpy road for him. Leaving him unable to do things exactly how he wanted to... despite his best intentions. And, eventually, this route of live leads him to finding the person responsible for his whole change in life. After all: He’d only been a simple school teacher before.
SPOILERS: After a very specific event, “Run” isn’t really there - and yet he is. Certain pieces of himself remain, leaving some of his tendencies to show, despite himself.
In this AU - Run ran into “NIGHT RAID” while he was still trying to think of a plan of action. He’d honestly always been something of a toss up, despite wanting to fix things. And having run into them, despite being unsure at first, he decides to work with them. Honestly, when it comes down to it? He just wants the situation to be fixed.
No matter how it needs to be done.
This takes place during the main timeline of “SDR2.” After Monokuma arrived, beat off their teacher Usami/Monomi, and announced that this was going to become a “Killing Game,” something akin to what Nagito had been joking about not that long ago… During this time, the “Ultimate Lucky Student” has become rather unstable. Believing himself not worthy to be an Ultimate, but instead, thinks of himself as something of an “Ultimate’s fan” or sorts. He wishes to become a stepping stone for the others to use, as a bases for them to leave this island, so that they might have a chance to leave this place. [His ideas are a little skewed due to a few medical conditions, as well as his own beliefs, making him difficult to get along with… even if he initially appears pleasant.]
This takes place in in an alternative reality where, instead of Monokuma winning his fight with Usami? She beat the stuffing out of him, instead, and told him to leave. In this mode, Nagito is friendly, though often a little confusing for his classmates. Due to his instability from his ailments, he can be a bit hard to work with… but? Over all? He is friendly, willing to work with others, and tries his best. (Though, he often reads a little too deeply into little things, if they’re not worded carefully.) He has a bit of an inferiority complex, and often worries that he won’t measure up to people’s expectations of him.
School life back at Hope’s Peak Academy. Though, initially, Nagito turned down the invitation several times, eventually he agreed to attend, based on the headmasters persistence. Though he doesn’t believe his “talent” is truly something worth being called an “Ultimate” over? He does find it awe-inspiring that Hope’s Peak wishes to do research on something as obscure as “Luck” as one of their talents. Because of his view on his talent? He often views others as better then himself… but? He definitely feels he is more fortunate in those in the Reserve.
This would be Nagito prior to his involvement in DR:AE. His actions as a member of the Remnants of Despair, and the time after he left Hope’s Peak Academy, to help spread despair. Believing, ultimately, that hope can only spread properly by watching despair fester and grow… only to be utterly crushed. He wishes to nurture despair, watch it grow, so that he can watch it burned to the ground. During this time, you can expect that he is a fair bit more twisted, and dangerous.
Spoiler Warning for Danganronpa AE: Ultra Despair Girls - Due to a specifically planned series of events, he was able to align himself appropriately to become a part of the Warrior’s of Hope, in a role as insignificant as a “Servant.” Finding himself “captured” by them, and his life threatened, he begged for his life and was willing to do anything to stay alive. Eventually? They choose to spare him on account of him being useful to them. However? This is part of him playing a role. A Child’s Paradise? A successor? It’s hard to tell what exactly he’s after… but only a few know he’s there on purpose.
As unlikely as it seems? Eventually, Nagito managed to wake up. It took a little… unlikely help, and the destruction of the world he’d been in, within the Neo World Program. But? He has awoken, and? With a little bit of help from his friends, he has managed to more or less recover - including the introduction of a replacement arm.
After all: It wasn’t as though the spare he’d picked up earlier was doing him much good…
Name: Nagisa Komaeda
Nagisa is a very… particular young lady. Despite having been brought into Hope’s Peak Academy as the “ULTIMATE LUCKY STUDENT,” she doesn’t believe herself to be talented at all. A fact that she isn’t exactly shy to tell the others. However, she does like to cheer on her truly talented classmates, and would happily do just about anything for the lot of them.
( For the most part, this is an add-on verse. So, this verse may appear in addition to one of the many other verses I have around~ And is mostly available by request. )
The current pet project of a relatively small agency known for “One Hit Wonders,” Nagito Komaeda has somehow managed to keep a certain amount of fame after his releases. The agency is known as “SACRED GARDEN,” and frankly? It’s desperate to have one true success story. And they, more so then he, are willing to do just about anything to get anyone to be that for them. And? Since he’s the one whose left an impact, they’re now doing just about anything they can to get him to be successful.
It was funny, wasn’t it? How the truly talented people could do so much but often strives for so little. It was wasteful. Pitiful. Especially when people like him couldn’t contribute to society. Not really. And all of their talents… they didn’t have to even try for them. Everything was simple, spoon fed, for most of them. And, one after another, his talent - his curse, has him crippled and was even killing him. Because of this, because of his rage, he’s decided to take some action. After all: His luck has at least granted him one true resource he could use - money. And with it, he creates his own death game. Where only those who begin to see the value of their own talents can pass.
“Welcome to my little game. You have one week to get out. All of you have been given two things. A key, one for any of the various things in this establishment. It’s up to you to figure out whose key does what. And the other thing? Is a collar filled with explosives. One that is part of a randomizer that I’ve set up here… Every hour? Someone will die at random. So? You’ve better put forth your best effort to get out, hmm? … oh? How? Well, that’s simple. You have to figure out who I am. And kill me. If you do? You’ll be rewarded~ You’ll get the key that can stop the game and release you from this building. You’ll even inherit a great reward,” his vast fortune, “… but? You’ll certainly have to work to get it, this time.” ( As with Makoto? Nagito is not obsessed with despair. In fact, the only thing he believes in is his luck. It’s the only thing that he’s had shown to him, had proven to him, so many times that he can’t help but believe in it. However? He has no love for his fellow classmates. He considers them all pitiful and useless, since they don’t value their gifts as much as he feels they should - especially when his is so destructive to himself. However? He has made himself part of this game too. He has a collar and a key, just like everyone else. It’s a game. It has to be fair, doesn’t it? )
Nagito Komaeda is an odd one – a drifter from Safe Haven to Safe Haven. He doesn’t tend to stay anywhere for more than a few years, given his… Unusual nature. A lot of the Folk exist as shape shifters, so? That part isn’t of particular surprise to anyone. But? Given his unusual existence and his origin, he finds that he just doesn’t settle anywhere well. After all: He was never given any particular grounding. No sense of belonging.
Perhaps it’s because he feels incomplete, that he drifts – looking for something/anything, that makes him feel completed. Grounded. Anchored. Until then? He drifts. And for now? That makes him a resident of the island, Orsus.
“Nagito” is a name he chose for himself – after all: he wasn’t traditionally born. Nagito was a stray “fabric of creation” left from when the universe was made. However, he was never used to make anything, and left to drift. Years passed, and eventually, somehow, it became self-aware. His base form, his natural self, is the only “original” thing he can turn into – aside from that? He can only shape-shift into things that already exist. Or that are currently still alive. He is no god, so he cannot create anything – or become anything that doesn’t exist anymore. The only exception is his base form.
