OH MY GOD!!! I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO SAY THIS FOR SO LONG!!!!!

No hate

trigger warning crazy controversial opinion here but what if we stopped looking into every detail of paige and azzi’s interactions and friendship and just let them live…

first off if they’re in a relationship they’re keeping it private for a reason! let them live! you’re being a creep trying to expose “pazzi” all over the internet and backing it up with “facts” that are just minuscule details you found in clips or on their socials and that makes you look like a stalker trying to out them.

second of all do you have nothing better to do?? sure they’d be cute together but their friendship and how they play together is awesome as well, let’s focus on that instead. i’m sure they’d rather that than have every detail of their interactions under a microscope because i’ve said this before and ill say it again, they are PEOPLE.

third, following the last point, THEYRE PEOPLE. you’re being odd and treating them like made up characters in a book series shipping them together like they aren’t actual people. obviously i read and write fics but you have to separate that from real life and remember that they aren’t characters in a book and they are people in college with feelings and lives.

it’s okay to have thoughts and theories; shipping is fun, but it gets to a point, and a lot of people are taking it too far!

Truth.

Be an example. Treat her right in private and in public. Let your sons see how to treat their wives, and let your daughters see how their boyfriends and husband should treat her!

I get it, we all have our preferences in the types of fiction we consume and the arcs we enjoy watching.

But the hate I'm seeing lately for characters who are genuinely kind, or characters who chose to redeem themselves is ridiculous, and people need to chill about it.

Some of us actually like seeing characters choosing good, compassion, and light. Some of us are actually comforted and reassured when we see fictional characters who had seemingly fallen too deep but still find a way out and discover true peace. Sometimes it's nice seeing characters who remain genuinely good despite going through immense pain and unfairness (they still have the right to feel things and work on their trauma of course, but when they actually manage to not become a villain because of it... I like that, I actually do like seeing that)

There's nothing wrong with stories about hope.

If you prefer to see characters become evil, destroy things, and making others suffer, good for you, and you enjoy that. But let those of us who like goodness in our stories enjoy it, and maybe diss on it a little less?

There are more than enough damnation arcs in real life and sometimes we need a break from that.
