Dive Deep into Creativity: Discover, Share, Inspire
🥮 I strongly believe I discovered the power to shift to connect with my heritage. I grew up in a japanese household—though I'm half brazilian—in the states so you'd think I would at least speak japanese right? no. Living in America as an immigrant means (for me at least) having parents who believe if you don't speak your mother tongue, racism would eventually come to an end, right ? They were wrong. Now I'm sixteen almost seventeen years old living in America using shifting as my primary way of connecting to my heritage .
