I love SK8, just recently rewatched it and the ova, cherry is so cool with his lip piercing!!!!

Haven't drawn in a while, but might do some more soon maybe, been crocheting alot!!

You know the funniest thing about SK8 the Infinity or whatever? Langa and Reki, simply do not care. They don't give a shit. The whole series, ADAM is making ominous biblical lusty threats towards Langa and Langa is NEVER paying attention, Reki is too busy having a mental crisis/coming of age moment to pay attention to the guy that literally beats the shit out of him, but at no point are they like 'maybe we are being treated in an odd way' or 'maybe we should find out more about Adam' because they don't give a shit.

They never approach Joe and Cherry like 'we need to know the TRUTH about Adam' because they're too busy dapping each other up in an abandoned skate park. Reki gets hit by a car by someone connected to Adam and when Snake goes projecting all his issues he's like 'okay whatever, unrelatable'. Langa brings up 'I wonder why Adam skates' ONE TIME, and they're like 'it's probably because he enjoys it, no other possible reason'. They don't care about his shady past with Cherry and Joe. They don't care that he's a politician. They simply have two priorities and it's each other and skating.

It's so funny to me that they're THIS apathetic to the main antagonist. Himbo's wish they could be this dumb.

i saw a joe ask on my dash, so i decided to shoot over my own s/o idea (I'm an impulsive adhd biatch) how would he react to an s/o who's a bit over medium height, can't skate but enjoys watching, but does martial arts competitively? if it's possible or if you feel comfortable with it, maybe as in like a polycule w/ cherry as well (you don't have to if you don't want to, but I'm a diehard matchablossom simp oops)

Just as everything else, they'd definitely fight over you.

Over who you're going to cheer for, over who you like better than the other, etc.

Given that you're medium height, you'll more than likely still be slightly shorter than the two of them.

They'll both show up to your matches, fighting and insulting one another, but they'll still show up.

Kojiro would definitely be a bit of a louder cheerleader although Kaoru would be a bit quieter, clapping lightly and waving if you see him

If you're any shorter than Kojiro, he's poking at your height until you express any sort of discomfort.

As stated previously, he's a very loud cheerleader, even if he has women all over him.

After every match, he has a snack made up for you.

If your match ends up at a time where you miss a meal, he'll make said meal for you and bring it to you right before or right after your match.

Even if you can't skate, he loves seeing you at his own races. If he ever sees you there, he'll always slow a little and wave to you before speeding right back up.

If you're shorter than Kaoru, he won't poke any fun at your height, but makes it known that he'll help you get certain things you may not be able to reach.

He's a rather quiet, sometimes even silent, cheerleader. If you look his way, he'll smile and wave towards you. And if you win, you won't get much more than a few claps with a smile.

If you end up getting hurt, he'll always be willing to patch you up after a match, even if there are actual medical personnel around.

If you happen to miss a meal due to a match, he'll always take you out to a nearby restaurant, even if it's Kojiro's.

Even if you're unable to stake yet you show up at S to watch one of his races, he'll always meet you at the finish line with a hug.

Sk8 the Infinity Headcanons

No one’s name in Miya’s phone is their actual name: Reki is Dollar Store Ariel, Langa is Elsa’s Lost Snowman, Shadow is Mister Lonely, and of course Cherry and Joe are Mommy and Daddy

The kids get discounts at Joe’s restaurant since they’re there so much

Cherry helps Langa with his Japanese from time to time (Langa’s teachers have been noticing more and more improvement)

Cherry can’t figure out why everyone keeps calling him Pinkie Pie, if anything his hair is more reminiscent of Fluttershy’s

After finding out Joe studied in Italy, Reki began to ask him about it (How different is the time zone? Was anyone with you or did you travel alone? Are the cafés as good as they look online? Was there a bad language barrier? Did you go to an opera? Etc.) Joe plans to surprise Reki with a trip to Italy when he graduates.

It took Langa a month to remember everyone’s names. Reki was ‘the energetic one’, Shadow was ‘flower clown’, Miya was ‘Meowth from Pokémon’, Joe was ‘the guy who always forgets his shirt’, and Cherry was ‘the one with pink hair who keeps ditching his glasses’.

They’re often mistaken as a family whenever they hang out, mainly because the kids are often referred to as “the kids” (and a few times “our kids” when they lost said kids in the shopping center).

Some people at S have begun to speculate if Joe and Cherry had adopted Reki, Langa, and Miya when the kids first got to S. They view Reki as taking after Joe the most and Miya as taking after Cherry the most. Langa is viewed as somewhere in-between but is leaning slightly more towards taking after Cherry. (Both Joe and Cherry are well aware of the rumors but have said nothing, Miya knows and plays into it, Reki and Langa have been too focused on skating and each other to notice)
