Countryhumans: RIP MJ Tribute

Drew this on June 26, 2024, a day late.

I had this idea of doing a Michael Jackson tribute art in Countryhumans to commemorate the 15th anniversary of his passing on June 25, 2009. I drew the CTE outfit he wore in the '90s and added angel wings and a halo with a ghost glow effect like his soul/spirit.

I also drew my own statehumans designs of Indiana (male), the state he was born in, Gary, where his music career began, and California (female), the state where he had his Neverland Ranch home and died in Los Angeles. They are both hugging him with tears, saying their goodbyes to him.

I also added the end lyrics of his favorite song "Smile" like he's singing it to them, as a reminder of him being gone but his spirit and legacy lives on.
