TF2 Sniper x Reader Marriage headcanons [romantic]:

Sniper x gn other team reader who seems to always figure out where he is. It's like they have this weird spidey sense type thing. Like, they'll look directly into his scope or fire a warning shot next to him when he hasn't seen them yet.

Maybe they've even sniped him once with like a handgun or something cuz he pissed them off

Like I can imagine how much of a loop it would throw him through

Also, if he could be a pining loser, that would be great

Ooh also what if he also noticed how they're particularly brutal with the rest of his team but not him (examples above) because they have a soft spot for / crush on him too

Warning shots

◇ TF2 Sniper x GN!Reader [crush]

Badlands, where setting sun gives you third degree burns and gravel is treated like gold, a place where lays control point, ready to be taken over by one of the two teams, and belive when I say, it is no easy thing to do. The point was active for some time now, but no one on the teams managed to get it before they were shot down, dying in their own pool of blood and coming back to life, trying all over again.

Meanwhile Sniper was on his was to changes places to confuse his opponents, firing from high place, his scope scanning the corners and waiting for some idiot to take a peek and find themselves with a bullet in their skull.

Another warning shoot. This time bullet made a hole in his hat. Bugger. How?? He just got here! He didn't even fired his weapon! What kind of six sense bullshit is this! Alright, alright... there is no time to think about it, he has a job that needs to be done. Again, he decided to change his position, walking to the comple opposite side of the war zone.

"Steady... Steady..." Sniper mumbled to himself while aiming at the enemy Heavy's head. Then BAM, bullet hit, creating hole in wooden plank next to his head. Sniper moved away from the window, completely caught off guard. He was sure it was a good spot and none one will be able to find him this quickly ! No matter. He decided to change his position, it was not a good idea to try to shoot again from the same spot when someone knew he was there. He passed Engineer's nest and found for himself better spot to try again. He aimed carefully, grinned when dot from his scope pointed on Medic's head and-...

Bang!

He found much better spot this time, far away from the control point but close enough for him to land every shoot. Finally, he can continue his job without any surprises. Sniper looked through his scope and noticed- You. He was ready to pull the trigger when suddenly you turned your head to the left and looked directly at him. Sniper felt weird tingle on his neck. Did...Did you noticed him? No... it's impossible, he is too far away! But there you were, staring directly into his scope, completely aware of his current position. Were you the one who knew where he had always been? His eyebrows knit together, as he was aiming at your head, but you were quicker and pullet trigger on your handgun, shooting Sniper right into the shoulder three times.

Sniper did the only reasonable thing, which was running away to find the closests med kit. As he was runing he thought about....this. This weird treatment you were giving him. Besides Pyro and Solider you are one of the most violent mercenary on your team, always finishing your targets in the most brutal and extreme way possible, and yet you, of all people, were giving him warning shoots! Twice ! It was....strange...

This situation for you two was a tradition at this point. Whenever Sniper was trying to shoot someone down, you were there to send your bullet ricochet next to him, suddenly shout "Sniper ahead!!" and let rest of your team know he is watching. Or you'll turn around and stare at him as if you were saying "I always know where you are."

It annoyed him. His ego was damaged now, because of you and your stupid abnormal senses. Only times he could get a kill at this point was when you were respawning or when enemy Spy failed to backstab him. Was he even allowed to call himself a professional now?? You were now his biggest priority on the battlefield, he was constantly waiting for you to show up just to land a shoot on you. Not even to kill you, even a simple bruse was enough for him. It trapped him into a tunel vision that resulted in him dying several times to the rest of your team.

Well.

Sniper was aiming at respawn machine, waiting for you to come out. He didn't even hear footsteps creeping up behind him. He only realized someone was behind him when he was pulled by the shoulder, and pinned against the wall by- you!

When-

Looks like Sniper forgot that this respawn had two exits. You were holding him for...quite a while not. Both of you stared at each other, not moving an inch.

Sniper felt sweat on his eyebrows and how his face is getting warmer from the embarrassed. You smirked before letting him go and you-

Walked away...

He should be dead! But you just decided to spare him? Why??? And that look on your face... He always saw you stare at him, but only now he saw your eyes up close...they looked... surprisingly pleasant to look at.

Now you're stuck in his head. Constantly teasing each other with shots and looks. Sniper felt better, knowing he wouldn't be butchered by you like the rest of his team. Was he this special? Were you...special to him? Each thought about you made his cheeks shine in pink and clouded mind with this weird soft feeling. But don't think only he did! Ha! Come on, it was obvious you have soft spot for this Australian man. It was not hard to miss when you shredded enemy team like nothing, and only Sniper was able to somehow "Get away" or just "Suddenly disappeared". The tingling, almost spider like sense made you detect him like on radar, which was the reason why you found it so hard to not think about him.

You two found a reeallllly interesting way to flirt with each other heh.

Mercenaries: Scout, Solider, Sniper and Heavy

Scout:

> I view Scout as type of person that would walk around angry for some time, then feel more and more horrible with each moment, soon feeling uncontrollably guilty for this fight

> He is trying to apologise normally, just walks up to you and says he is sorry. It depends on you if you accept it or not

> If you do, then you just made him feel lighter instantly. He is proposing to get a bucket of chicken for you, of course he is paying (this time)

> But if you choose to not forgive him right away, he won't leave you alone. Expect him to give you occasional gifts for absolutely no reason whatsoever

> Finnaly when you decide to forgive him, Scout is going to shrug it off, trying to stay cool "Ha! YEAH! Of course you forgive me!", later someone saw him dancing victory dance in respawn room.

> If you are his partner, expect him to be more clingy, wanting your forgiveness above everything. Like previously he is going to follow you around. If you decide to forgive him right away, kiss on lips is enough to assure him that you are not mad

> Hug. Just give him assuring big long hug and of course a kiss. All he wants to know is that you are not mad at him. He won't let you go for a long while. > If you decide to take your time and don't forgive him right away Heavy is going to accept it with slow, a bit sad nod. Of course he still wants you to try some of the food he made, he made it for you after all! Even if you don't fell like you can forgive him yet

> Much later Heavy's way of trying to make you forgive him is to be there for you when you need him. Need something? He'll get it. He wants ti gain your respect before asking for forgiveness once again

> When he feels you are ready to talk again, Heavy will take you on, one on one conversation, asking if you wish to forgive him. Say yes and you are going to see the biggest and brightest smile on his face you have ever seen.

> If you are his lover he is not going to rest until you forgive him. He values trust and that you can find comfort in your other half and it makes his feel guilty you can find that in him after the fight.

If you nod he'll pick you up, put you down on his lap and give you the biggest and coziest bear hug in history. He is happy you can feel safe with him and that you forgive him. Mercenaries: (Sorry I didn't do all of them): Scout, Solider, Sniper, Spy and Engineer

Scout:

> Scout is the first one to notice your absence. He walks around the base looking for his bud but when unsuccessful his first thought will be "Ah, they probably went on a mission or something" and goes back to continue his activities

> When some time passes Scout starts to worry. Sure he could understand that some contracts are hard to finish but everyone were always back before day ends. And you are still not back.

> He can't stand it and decides to look around the base trying to find you. Unsuccessful after his research Scout is getting more worried

> I imagine him runing around from room to room, asking some guys about you only to hear that you still aren't back. Oh boy where are you?

> His reaction that you are missing next day fills him with worry. Why? How?! Where are they?! Why did they disappeared??

> First one to volunteer to look for you

> If you are his partner or if you have crush on each other be ready to be swarm with hugs and worried fast talk after this

> After you are found his first reaction is to put his arms around your shoulders and ask milion questions. Where were you, etc. Now he won't leave you for a whole week. "What? Noooo I wasn't worried about you, but don't disappear like that!" won't admit it but he missed you. A lot.

Solider:

> He won't see your absence at first, it will take some time for him to realize there was supposed to be 10 and not 9 people around

> Will ask around first instead of looking for you by himself. When answer won't satisfy him, this is when he'll look for you.

◇ Tf2 Sniper x reader [crushing on Sniper]

You made a salad for yourself today. It took you a while, but it was definitely worth it. There's no way you're going to eat what Solider cooked for lunch today. If you can call it dinner at all. Walking to your room, you thought about Sniper. He wasn't there today (probably to avoid Solider) and even if he wasn't the most talkative person, you still enjoyed his presence.

"Maybe i can bring him some. I bet he's hungry" you thought to yourself.

Later you went outside with a bowl in your hands, walking towards the Sniper's van. Today was a really hot sunny day and only a few small clouds were visible in the sky. You walked past Pyro, who was setting things on fire (Engi had asked him to do it outside) and waved at him. You heard a small, happy "Mhmm!" as they waved back at you. Soon you arrived at the Snipers' van. You knocked on the door but no one answered. You knocked again and this time you heard the sound of something falling to the floor and quickly getting up. After a few seconds the van door was opened by a tall Australian man.

"Hello Sni-" You wanted to greet him, but were interrupted by a large knife pointed straight at your face.

"Hmm...What are ya doin' in here." He asked with a suspicious look.

"HEY wow! I just came here to bring you some food. I thought you might be hungry"

His eyes went up and down several times, scanning you like a machine. It took him a while, but he quickly came to the conclusion that it was really you and put the knife down.

"It is you. I just had to be sure if it is real you. That bloody Spy won't fool me again like he did the last time."

"So you want it?" You asked, rasing the bowl up.

"I ain't hungry. I've already had dinner" He replied, tapping his finger over the door, ready to close them.

"No, you didn't. I haven't seen you in the kitchen all day, and you're not going to convince me that you were so hungry and desperate that you ate whatever Solider made, so in fact no, you didn't ate" He looked at you a little annoyed, but sighed, going back inside, leaving the door opened up for you.

"Come on in."

You smiled and walked into his van. You were never too interested to explore it's insides before, not after hearing from Scout that it smelled like piss and a rotten corpse. And he was half right, the smell wasn't that great, but it wasn't as bad as you expected. You looked around, noticing his weapons hanging on the walls, empty jars, small animal bones and teeth, a few books and a picture of him and his parents next to a scruffy bed.

"Sorry for all that mess, I wasn't expectin' company today." saying that he cleared the small coffee table next to his bed.

"It's fine, really. I think it's really lovely," You said and smiled at him, sitting down in your seat and placing the salad bowl on the table.

"Ya made it yourself?" he asked.

"Yes. It may not be the best, but I hope you enjoy it," as you said this, Sniper took a bite with slight hesitation. He narrowed his eyes as he chewed and looked at you from under his hat.

"Hm. It's good"

You looked at him confused.

"Really? I can like, try make it taste better with some sauce or-"

"No. I mean it. It's good as it is. Yesh, I'm kinda glad i waited and didn't try get something myself"

You blushed a bit. Hearing such kind words from him was something you really appreciated because you knew that unlike Medic he meant it. After your meal you two looked up at each other.

"Thank mate. It was really good." he gave you small but genuine smile.

"No problem. I'm glad you enjoyed it" you stood up and as you were on your way to walked out through the door, he spoke up.

"Hey uh. I... if you aren't busy, then maybe we can talk?"

"Talk?"

"Yes, I want to know how you made this salad taste so delicious. I'd like to know, you know.... Survival skills and all that."

"Sure! Then first you need to-"

"Wait. Not here"

You blushed as he put his two fingers in your lips.

"Follow me"

You went outside and stopped as he started to climb the ladder to get to the top of his van.

"Aye ya comin' or what?"

You froze for a moment, looking at his face, before shaking your head and climbing up behind him.

You soon sat down next to him, gazing at the sun slowly setting behind the mountains of sand and Pyro, setting wooden crates on fire in the distance. You took a deep breath of the cold wind that was slowly blowing against your face.

"It's really beautiful"

"Yes, and thanks again for the meal. You didn't have to, but you brought me something to eat anyway. Why?"

"I thought of you, after all you are my teammate. At the end of the day, we have to look out for each other."

"Mhm. I guess you're right" He took off his hat and lay down on the roof.

You felt really calm, and knowing that he wanted to spend time with you filled your heart with joy. When you looked at him, you noticed that he had something in his hair. You reached out to get rid of it when he suddenly grabbed your hand, holding it tightly.

"What aye you doing?" he asked.

"Sorry! You just have something in your hair and- um. Sorry."

"Eh...It's fine. You can do whatever you want. I don't care. Just don't pull my hair like grass. I want to rest," he let go of your hand, laying his head down again and closing his eyes.

You sat there, not knowing what to do, when you finally slowly reached out to touch his messy hair. He flinched slightly but remained on the ground. You smiled, playing with his short hair and looked at the stunning view of the dessert.

You had fun spending time with him and hoped he felt the same. The day really couldn't have ended any better.
