Some of your art reminds me a bit of Jhonen Vasquez's artstyle! I love his works, so I was wondering if he was an inspiration for your artstyle?

Hello! I have probably subconsciously picked up on some bits from his art style since it's a seriously cool art style (I say "probably" because I haven't had an IZ phase believe it or not lol so I've never actually attempted to imitate his style.)

I draw a lot of Psychonauts fanart and some of the concept artwork from it is Vasquez-esque. My friends have asked me if he worked on the game before so I think there is a bit of a stylistic overlap.

I decided to take a crack at drawing Dib since I like him. He is my favorite character trope after all: nerd boy with glasses.

Here is Chevron! She also likes to go by "Chev." She might have a bit of a mean or aloof look to her (Sometimes. She seems pretty happy in that drawing though), but she really isn't mean at all. She is one of Hertz and Caprio's classmates (if you remember them.)

She's used to her peers telling her to "shut up" and to "go away" and that she's "weird." It used to bother her, but not anymore. She knows their frail minds cannot understand her, so there is no use in trying. She knows who she is and she owns it.

She has a very strong interest in the paranormal and "spooky" things. No one wants to hear about this, so she's all alone. That's fine, she has her "ghost friends."

Some of her other interests include collecting rocks, gemstones, sticks, leaves, feathers (molted from her avian classmates), or other meaningless "trash" items, staring menacingly from around the corner, and trying to explore places she isn't supposed to be in.

So when Hertz (a real life demon, just like the ones in her books!) joins the class, she is ecstatic. She's fascinated with her (please don't be weird about it though, they're kids and there is no romance.) She can be overwhelming when she is passionate about something. She can also be a bit oblivious at times.
