og!lloyd gets therapy. they go to family therapy sessions too, javier is also there somehow

kim suho someohow saved javier from idk, something, it was a terrible rescue btw, it was a meet horrendous for suho

it was also a meet horrendous for javier, but then again it wasn't that bad, he's... acquainted w/ og!lloyd

javier, per his noble personality, swore an oath to pay suho back anyways, somehow

og!lloyd says he's obsessed, javier denies this

my headcanons of kim suho's body

so considering that kim suho only eats gimbap and even then he only eats it because it's free/cheap. i would think that his body is like, very skinny? but he's still broad because he works in a construction site of course. i think his body is also very malnourished. get that boy some protein!!

anyways, compared to suho being in lloyd's body is 5cm shorter than javier, i think that suho being in kim suho's body would be more shorter. i still haven't figured out how much shorter, but he's shorter now that's for sure. why? the laurasia continent is presumably inspired by/based on europe (well, i assume so) and generally europeans have a taller height average than those in asia. like, kim suho is an average height korean male living in seoul, but in laurasia? yeah nah, everyone's gonna have to look down at him im sorry. also i either hc him as being shorter or on par with alicia in height, because i think it's funny. imagine the insufferable man who sacrificed himself and came back is now shorter than you and in a different body, yeah.

ok coming back to point number one, lloyd is already used to eating three meals a day by now, he's been in laurasia for years so of course he is. but kim suho's body doesn't. i think it would fucked him up somewhat, especially because his brain is used to it but his body doesn't, so when he tries to eat he either wants to throw it up or actually do throw up. i think his old-new-old(??) body have to adjust to this sudden increase intake of food. lloyd is so frustrated because of this and keeps getting into weird angry bursts and he is so sorry. *scribbles on note* make marbella patiently encourage lloydsuho in this aspect. make it a bonding moment, make lloydsuho talk about his admittedly bad but needed habits in seoul-

im also gonna astral project my back pain into kim suho's body because i can okay. like, carrying concrete on your back everyday? not having the best on site medical attention? presumably small injuries that get gloss over constantly? bad health insurance contracts? yeah that man is going to have back pain and other places pain. that mans body ache. it's so different from lloyd's that he keeps getting whiplash from the changes of his body, how his mental state is now so different to his bad and bruised old body. lloydsuho all throughout this is just, this is fine, i think, i don't know there's no modern medicine here-

oh! not to forget that he lost all of his swordsmanship skills, especially mana heart and mental asrahan technique. sure he could have some leftover instincts of being a sword master but remember, he was a fraud, that man used RP to go up. and honestly? he genuinely doesn't want to go through all that training again, he wants to have a break thank you very much. besides, he have javier who'll protect him (even though it's always been a failure but let's talk about that in a another post.) and other people who will take care of him. also he fought king of hell, he's gonna hang that over everyone to get him out of work/training and everyone knows that's just an excuse but they'll indulge him anyways because he did kinda died, y'know? if the young master doesn't want to do it, who will argue with him and win?

everyone's reaction to this... lloyd would be so conflicted. like, that is the young master, you can feel it, you can feel the viciousness and crooked mind leaking out of that body. but also now you have to look down at him if you want to maintain eye contact. they don't know if this decreased or increased his intimidation factor. also his body is weak now. before, he can dig for hours with a shovel. now, if he goes for one hour his arms would start to shake. this is because in seoul there was modern construction equipment that could help him, now? it's just pure labor, and his body is not up for the task right now. lloyd promises to himself to be better because this is his specialty, and he is going to get better damn it. (javier is watching him 24/7 because fakelloyd-suho-lloyd is weak now, he'll be damned if he dies after all that).

also wanna add in, because that lloydsuho's body is very weak compared before going into the reincarnation gate, everyone is going to take advantage of that and carry him around, much to lloyd's utter disgruntlement. oh, the young master is panting? here go on my back. the young master is tired after flying around with yongong? i'll help you *puts lloyd on their shoulder*. there was this one time where someone swooped lloyd into a princess carry and everyone in the vicinity had to witness in world record breaking speed of how lloyd's face became slightly red. it's not much, but it's lloyd, the one who straight up lies without a trace of guilt, who puts up an iron plate on his face. so of course it was a spectacle. (lloyd was surprised of how unconsciously he did that, maybe the peacefulness was getting to him, he didn't really mind it).

I believe Lloyd just subconsciously puts on his con-man face everytime someone looks at him so he can repel them with his "ugly face" , and then one day, he just got too overworked and is too tired to realize he had let down his com man face for once and the whole barony went: "???!?!?!?!" Because GODDAMN! This man is pretty as FUCK! Like, REALLY! Not on the same level as Javier but CLOSE.

Lloyd and Kim were for as long as they could remember the same person, at least where it mattered. That is until they grew up, Kim chalking it up to a story a comforting idea of escaping poverty but now that he was reunited with Lloyd he was going to do whatever it took to get them their slacker dream!

Lloyd new he had been withdrawing into themselves too much. The barony was getting suspicious, not that they knew the real him anyway. He knew he should come out more if only to save Kim the embarrassment but Lloyd didn’t want to move. They were all better off without him, Kim too.

Javier understood how Lloyd would have been lashing out as a child now, how the both had been hating one another to look better in front of the Baron. But then why did Lloyd suddenly become close ? Why did he suddenly care for Javier? Perhaps he gave up on gaining familial love, burying the hatchet with Javier the only way he knew how, by not addressing the past at all.

Julian began to understand, and he begun to feel badly for his brother but still he was just so angry at Lloyd !

They looked at each other as Lloyds song finished.

What were they going to do now? And as they pondered it they could hear Lloyd sniffling to himself, as if he was picking up the pieces after breaking down.

Then a whisper to three of them, a yell to Javier’s ears they heard Lloyd speak.

“Huh I guess I do fell a little better now! We should do this more often lolz! Goodnight Kim, I love you.”

My guys, my gals, my pals, I have found a hidden gem of a manhwa. I love it, especially the f<cking MC. Who ever love MCs like Cale Henituse from Trash Of The Count's Family, Lloyd Frontera is similar to Cale. It's The Greatest Estate Developer, it's on WEBTOON, I seriously recommend it. 👌

Okay, I just gotta rant a bit about TGED, and probably will get other opinions, and that's great, so please share them!

Also, this is mostly my speculation, I have ONLY read the webtoon, and I haven't been able to find the novel properly translated to read, so have mercy.

SO. I know that og!Lloyd was a bully to Javier and Julien and all that jazz, but it looked to me that he was an alcoholic that desperately needed help.

He lashed out and thew fits to call the attention of his parents, that he was sure as hell they were going to replace him with Javier at any point. (Bc let's be real, the Frontera's affection seems heavily conditional)

Arcos was pretty okay by letting Javier do whatever he wanted, becoming a knight was his choice and he did everything to make that happen.

Then, we have Javier's duties, that was to watch over 'Lloyd', which that also more or less what he did because he wasn't with Lloyd all the time.

The Fronteras were more than okay by letting him leave their alcoholic son alone and drunk somewhere in town. Which was what killed him by falling n breaking his head,,,, that wouldn't have happened if Javier was actually there,,,,

The there's this detail I noticed in the imagery, in most cases it's suggested that Javier is confused as the heir and novel bc he's handsome, but that's not it.

it's bc he gives a novels profile. And the reason is his clothes.

Javier seems to be dressing like the proper heir, and wears the same style as Arcos Frontera, meanwhile Lloyd is left to dress like a commoner. That's why he's confused as Javier's servant, bc he looks like it.

Arcos Frontera didn't want to deal with an alcoholic son, he had enough on his plate by letting his estate become in debt and bc of his spineless attitude.

He was most likely replace Lloyd with Javier, or make Julian the heir. He was ignoring Lloyd, and just paying attention when he caused damage to the town. Because then it would come back to him.

He didn't actually cared if he died in a ditch.

I don't justify og!Lloyd's behavior at all, but I understand what was going with him. He was mad, he was jealous, and he was frustrated, and the only thing that made him feel better was some drinks.

He was so depressed he wanted to be blackout drunk, and that killed him anyway.

I'm honestly very much into how our!Lloyd has put such boundaries with the Fronteras, bc he's a guest in his own home. He wants to lazy around, but he doesn't actually do it at home, he did it once and immediately got an excuse to go out and work.

But anyway, this is such my own analysis on the matter, I find absolutely fascinating the takes this webtoon has taken over the Isekai trope, and how that affects to those around the mc.

Me when I started reading TGED:

I love that there's no romance in this story! it makes it easy to read without cringing at sappy stuff or forced bonding plots

Me now:

If the protagonists don't end up together I'm going to scream

when you have to search for the phenomenon thats trying to kill you and everyone you love as soon as possible and you even locked yourself in your study for 3 days and search through 50+ books (in which the writings are randomly structured, really messy, and theres the occasional random slips of paper snuck in between the pages) but still havent found the answer because medieval fantasy isekai doesnt have internet
