A Picnic huh
You decided to surprise Vance with a picnic, he had been getting into less fights lately and he’s been getting better with everything!
Also him being perfect was also going towards the picnic. Anyways you went to the record store to buy some tapes for your Walkman for you both to listen to.
Metallica, Iron Maiden, megadeath, Def Leopard, Led Zepplin, The runaways, Rob Zombie, Heart, Cheap Trick, Slipknot, Black Sabbath, Queen, Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC you had it all. (Can you tell I’ve always been a huge metal/ rock head?)
You just had to pick out food you and Vance liked. You made sandwiches, soups, brought fruit, drinks and desserts for you both. You just had to pick him up.
You drove to his house in your mustang as you ring the doorbell hesitantly. Thankfully Vance’s mom opens the door. “Oh y/n, how are you honey?” She asks with a soft smile
“I’m alright Mrs. Hopper, I wanted to take Vance on a picnic, I got a bunch of food for us both.” You said with a smile. She didn’t need much convincing. You were her sons best friend and more but she didn’t know that part just yet.
“Of course honey I’ll call him down you go wait in your car okay?” She says with a bright smile as she closes the door and you walk back to your car.
You pat your steering wheel as Metal Health plays. Finally you hear a knock on your window. You crank it down as you give Vance a smile. “Well hop in handsome!” You say with a smile as he opens the door.
You both drive as “Surrender” by cheap trick plays. You both sing along as you drive to a park you and Vance go to often. “Mommy’s alright, daddy’s alright, they just seem a little weird!” He sings as you sing back “Surrender, Surrender but don’t give yourself away.
You both ALWYAS had the best times. As you arrive at the park you bring your Walkman with you putting it your pocket as you bring the basket and blanket. “Hey baby set up the blanket real quick.” You say handing Vance the blanket as he nods
“This good?” He questions as you nod taking the food out. “This looks great y/n!” He says with a smile as he takes out a sandwich and a drink. “I’m glad dig in.” You say with a smile as you take your Walkman hitting play as you start off with some Queen.
You both begin to eat and talk as you bond about the music playing softly. “Speaking of which what’s your favorite… queen song Vance?” You ask with a smile as he answers quickly. “Radio ga ga is my third, bohemian rapsody and probably Killer Queen.”
You smile “a man with good taste.” You say as you lay on his thighs as he plays with your hair. “What about your favorite Metallica song?” He asks as you laugh. “Probably (Metallica song).” You say with a smile
As you both finish up your conversation cheap trick comes on again. “Oh sweet, love this song.” You say with a smile as you bob your head. “Is this cheap trick?” He questions. “I’ve never heard this song.” He says as your eyes go wide. “You’ve never heard “She’s Tight!”” You say stunned.
He looks at you annoyed. “The guy who plays guitar has a guitar that has 5 necks!” You say with a smile as he thinks about it in awe as the guitar chorus plays. “I like this song a lot actually.”
You smile “Glad I could help baby.” You start cleaning up the food as it starts to get darker. He sighs as he stands up sadly not wanting the evening to end. “Can I stay at your place tonight?” He asks.
You smile as you nod. “Here let me call my mom real quick.” He walks over it the phone putting his hand out as you give a quarter. You sit on the head of your car as he comes back with a thumbs up.
“After you baby.” You say opening the door. “Thanks handsome.” He says mocking the words you said earlier as you laugh. You turn your radio as Barracuda comes on. “Alright baby let’s go for a ride before we go home, it’s nice out.” He nods with a smile as you both drive off.

It was seemingly another normal day, Vance’s dad was yelling at him the usual. He yells back at him as he storms out the house heading the the grab n go to calm some nerves. He opens the door as he see the usual people there. He looks over to see Finney nervously looking back at him as he shoots a glare.
“Hey Vance.” A voice calls “what shithead?” He answers with his usual attitude. “I wanted to te-“ he groans loudly “Can’t you see I’m trying to play some fucking pinball?!” He shouts
as he turns on the machine. The guy puts his hands up in defense. As the machine loads up Vance checks out the recent players and see something he never would’ve expected.
“That was what i was trying to say.” The guy says rubbing his hair with a sigh. “WHO THE FUCK DID THIS?!” He yanks the dudes collar. “I-I don’t know man ask around!” He whines at as Vance throws him to the floor. He looks at the name on it, y/n l/n. “So this y/n is the one huh, I’m coming for his ass.” He says as he walks out the store fuming.
He walks around town asking kids if he saw the man who beat his score. As he goes to school he decides to ask everyone there to, no one gives any pleased answers until he asks Robin Arellano.
“Ohhhhh, y/n? Yeah I know him.” He says as he washes his hands. “Well where is he shithead?” Vance spits out. “Chill he’s always at the park outside of school hanging out.” Robin says as he glares at Vance. “Don’t be an ass to him.” Robin says as he walks off.
Finally the end of school Vance looks around as he starts walking to the park. He asks people around the park for y/n when someone finally answers. “Him right there.” He was laying under a tree relaxing as Vance marches over.
“Hey your y/n l/n right?” He asks with a loud voice. “Yeah that’s me what do you want?” He asks titling his head at the blond male. “You beat my pinball score!” He shouts as y/n. “Wait, your pinball Vance!” He says sitting up with a smile. “I’m a huge fan! I’ve always wanted to beat you bro! Your cool as fuck my guy.” He says with a smile as Vance blushes a bit.
“Huh?” Vance tilts his head as y/n stands up. “I was wondering if we could maybe be friends!” He asks with a glint of hope on his eyes. “Fine, just know I’m gonna kick your ass.” He says with a sigh as he smiles. “Counting on it!” The other male says smiling.
It’s been a few months since Vance and your friendship blossomed and he got a crush! He’s been obsessed with you. You realize his little crush but What you don’t seem to realize is the fact that he’s gotten even more obsessive with you.
Sneaking through your window, coming to your house 24/7 and even stalking you. He has a goal to get rid of every possible person in his way. Of course not your friends he could never see you sad about them.
He’s threatened the people not close to you, the people who crush on your from afar. He’s beaten them and made sure they don’t even look in your direction. He’s even somehow gotten a few expelled, all for you. When he confesses there’s absolutely no one to get in his way.
