Dive Deep into Creativity: Discover, Share, Inspire
Haven’t drawn myself in a while lol
Davey is more like a winter's day. The appeal of the cool snow on a bright morning, but the promise of a warm fireplace and a hot chocolate, should you get too cold. His eyes are blue as a cloudy day can be- that is to say, more gray, but just as deep and promising of rain -and sparkle in candlelight and sunlight and lamp light; sparkle with the promise of warmth, despite the breeze blowing within them, tousling his hair, sweeping across his face, tinging his nose pink and dusting pollen freckles across his cheeks.
Just reached Shrek: the musical on Netflix and it was just as amazing as when I watched it the first time.
Outside of memes and the general internet, Shrek is and always will be an incredible, beautiful story with an equally cheesy set of morals to be learned from it.
I just really like Shrek, ok. It's a great movie and I love it.
okay but there is something disquieting about this urge to cast fan writers as altruists. they give us all this for free!! well, no.
they’re sharing
it’s a key difference in perception. fic isn’t given. it’s shared. it’s part of a fandom community— in which readers are also an integral part.
it’s probably inevitable mission creep from the increasingly transactional nature of the internet and fandom-as-consumerism, which was always gonna happen after corps worked out how much bank there is to make from those weirdo fan people
but like. fandom is sharing. i think we’ve lost that somewhere.
Some ZITDF doodles because I was bored,
Also because my gift for Zoro - is late, y'all should get used to that by now - have this as a little present.
Let’s start this shtick over again yeah? My past self sure is missing out on the coloring magic.
Have a good day and for the love of God don’t scroll down further into my blog just to see what I was talking about (you probably would anyway), thank you :)
