I love that in Catching fire Katniss comes to the conclusion the other tributes are trying to keep Peeta alive because they must see how amazingly perfectly wonderful he is. When in actuality that’s just her having a crush and everyone else recognizing that if Peeta gets hurt Katniss will go fully feral and unhinged and probably try to kill everyone and then herself.
The number of people focusing on namor x shuri (which i personally find disgusting, she's a 20 year old girl, and he's a 500+ year old god who(spoilers) killed her mom, and no one would have shipped this if he hadn't been played by someone attractive), instead of the absolutely beautiful storytelling of Wakanda Forever, is pissing me off.
Spoiler free review: This movie handled grief so beautifully, and so realisticly. It was a female led, female driven movie, but never had a single moment of "Girl Power". Riri Williams was hilarious and I loved her and shuris dynamic. AND SHURI!!! The person people are ignoring for the fish man!!! She was so real, raw and powerful. I love that they didn't turn her into T'challa, she was very much her own person, and Letitia Wright deserves an Oscar. The acting was absolutely incredible and I cried three times in the theater. The story was beautiful, and I loved that they never used a body double or a voice over of Chadwick talking. They respected his memory in such a beautiful, calm way, and you felt his presence and influence in the movie. Absolutely brilliant, gorgeous movie, and one of the best in the MCU in my opinion.
people shipping namor x shuri like he’s not literally a 500 year old god and she’s not below the legal drinking age (and shuri x riri IS RIGHT THERE)
i’m thinking about the fact that yelena probably found out about nat through the news bc the avengers didn’t know to call her. i’m in pain.
jack watching will & hannibal flirting over randall tier’s mutilated corpse like the freaks they are:
I love to think that during Kaz's journey to re-learn skin-to-skin touch, he starts touching Inej's hair instead. Just going through it with naked fingers, or combing it, or maybe even braiding it. He's a bit tense at first, because he's still Kaz Brekker and affection doesn't come natural to him. But eventually it becomes a habit. It's a way of telling her he's trying, and he's giving her his best. It's a way of being intimate without getting triggered, a way of cuddling her without ruining the mood with staggered breathing.
jesper: what's wrong, buddy? matthias: someone at work ate my sandwich. kaz: what did the stadwatch say?
what’s funny about good omens season 2 being gut-wrenching and devastating compared to heartstopper season 2 being fluffy and sweet is that the roles will ABSOLUTELY be reversed in their season 3’s.
neil gaiman giggling on his bed kicking his feet up in the air writing "wait and see" in the good omens 2 script in his glitter pink gel pen dotting the 'i' with a heart
y’all: i can excuse incest, but i draw the line at child marriage.
me: you can excuse incest???
nah cuz i don’t like loki/sylvie either but cmon… if sylvie was male presenting, the dialogue from episode 3 would’ve made some of y’all ship it. i know we wanted a male love interest but like… this ship isn’t out of nowhere.
