Hey angels. How was your weekend? I hope It was amazing. I didn't do much apart from homework and uni stuff. Anyway, I wrote on my substack; I did a weekly r.e.p.o.r.t, that's where you say the things you're into that week, I put some pictures of the fashion I was into, I think it turned out great. Starting uni today, I've been trying to hold my tears in since I woke up. I couldn't get much sleep because of how nervous I was, I woke up at three in the morning, and finally got up to get ready at five; It's almost seven now.

How strange this is, I feel as if my youth withered away. I miss my childhood, and especially my teenage years, which weren't too cheerful as I was a strange child, and even stranger teenage girl. I guess nostalgia is a bitch, but I just want to be fourteen again. Time goes by so quickly I'm getting whiplash.

I'm scared about meeting people, scared to not make friends, scared to be that weird teenage girl forever. I can't eat, my stomach's all closed up, and I've got a migraine. God, this is weird.

Starting university tomorrow. Can't believe it, I'm going crazy. I had lunch with my family yesterday, they're strange people and I've never felt much of a kinship towards them, as a little girl I used to think I was an alien.

Anyway, having lunch with them only stressed me more about uni, like: will I make friends? Will people like me? Will it be too hard, will I be too lonely, will I fit in? God, I am terrified. But I can't stop time so I'll just have to deal with it.

I'm re-reading (probably for the seventh time...) Donna Tartt's The Secret History, it always makes me feel better, I get lost in the pages and feel at home.

It still hasn't hit me, the realization that I'm going to university tomorrow. I guess when it hits it'll be much more emotional than this.

I am starting uni on September 16th. I am scared, as I don't know anybody (all of my friends are going to other colleges, and studying things far more useful than literary studies and classics).

A couple months back I went on a tour of the humanities faculty building and it is absolutely beautiful, it looks like it could belong in a Donna Tartt novel, or a Shirley Jackson story: creepy, kind of unsettling, old, reminiscent of gothic architecture, beautiful.

I am excited, but also extremely confused, when I was building my timetable I realized none of my classes were on Fridays, and upon further research I found out there is no class on Fridays. I am confused about that.

Anyway, as I do every year before school starts, or, As I've done for the past three years, I will be re-reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I have had to buy a new copy because the one I've had since 2021 is so used the pages fall off. I am currently reading The Goldfinch, also by Donna Tartt.

Ok, I know I've been kind of quiet on here for the past few months, but what can I say, I have been on holiday. In July I spent some time with friends in Barcelona, basically just going clubbing and having brunches, and in August I left with my family on a road trip from Milan to the south of France, stopping in Monte Carlo. It was so incredibly hot I don't think I have ever sweated this much! I wrote a lot in my journals and I practically didn't read at all.

I am currently in France, in a small chateau my family owns, I am reading a lot and eating healthy. I kind of neglected my health throughout my vacation.

I am starting uni in September, I'll be a Literature Studies major. I am a little bit scared. The secret history is keeping me motivated for some strange reason.

I am currently recovering from a hungover because I went out last night, I usually don't really party but I graduated highschool yesterday and went to a bar to celebrate with friends. I had so much fun!!

I am also studying for my Uni Access Exams which are in about a week (I am so anxious).

I don't have much time to read lately, but I'm currently reading The sun also rises by Ernest Hemingway and Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings.

It has been a while since we last spoke, what can I say, I have been busy. I finished baccalaureate (the last year of highschool) and I am getting ready to do my uni access exams (basically like SATs).

Anyways, I've recently watched challengers and I am obsessed with it. I might try to go back to tennis (I stopped playing because I sucked). I've been running and doing a lot of cardio lately, too. I feel good. I recently read a catalan book called Et vaig donar ulls i vas mirar les tenebres by Irene Solà.

I'm going back to studying now.

Ok, ok, It has been a while since we last spoke but Ive been extremely busy!! Alright, let's get into the updates.

Christmas was amazing, i love seeing family and friends, new years was great because I spent it with my best friend.

After that school started again so I had to study an insane amount of time. I have been reading a lot (if u follow my goodreads u will know) but nothing really stood out to me.

I have been watching movies a lot lately too, I'm rewatching the fast and furious series (😭😭) and I watched the society of the snow which was such a good (and sad) film.

I've gone out with friends and I recently bought a miniskirt which I lovee.

Currently working on turning in my last assignments before winter break. I've only got nine days left of school and I'm really looking forward to the holidays, seeing family, waking up late, and getting presents. I'm currently reading three books at a time, but the one I'm into the most is Eve's Hollywood by Eve Babitz.

I canceled my gym subscription because the gym I was going to was really old and barely any of the machines worked, also you had to pay a supplement to take pilates and that was my last straw. Im really into long walks and hikes now, even though with school it's impossible to have enough time for it.

Now that it's colder I'm into dressing more elegant and with a vintage touch, I'm really trying to explore my personal style.

I just started reading The dangers of smoking in bed, I am enthralled by the aesthetics in all of these short stories, omg.

Also love the cold weather, and I'm eating lots of tangerines and drinking lots of tea and listening to lots of music.

I FINISHED MY EXAMS!!! AND I PASSED EVERY CLASS!!! I did get some grades that I am not too proud of, but overall I am doing a lot better than I was doing this time last year.

since I don't have exams I have a lot more free time on afternoons and weekends, I have been reading a lot lately, also watching TV and sleeping, overall just relaxing.

Also, the weather is changing and it is colder now, I can wear sweaters :)

I start pre evaluation exams on Monday, the first exam I have is art history, on ancient Greek and Roman art. I like the subject but I hate the people in my class and the professor doesn't teach really well.

I think I am coming down with a cold, I read half a book yesterday while I was laying in bed feeling a little bit sick.

Anyways, Love u so much. Do not forget to study, but also: do not forget to drink water, eat pastries, take long walks, watch TV, read cool books.

I am starting pre evaluation exams next week, and I am scared and tired so my thoughts are a bit scrambled, bear with me.

Sort of felt anxious and like I was falling behind last week but I managed to make myself feel better and to keep up with school. My notion is a bit unkempt but I have not had the time to make it look cuter.

I went out at night for the entire weekend straight, I woke up early to watch f1 and study, it was not a good decision because I messed up my sleep cycle (I am like a child in that sense).

Anyways, all is good, I am reading Don Quixote for school, my professor loves it and I really tried to like it but it's not my kind of book. I am also reading the Iliad (which i love).

Study hard, go out and have lots of fun, stop and relax once in a while.

I am done with the first week of school. I DID IT!!

Honestly I love my teachers, my classmates and the "friends" that I have started making (I know it takes time to make actual friends, but I am anxious, and impatient and all i want is to go out, have study dates, go to the bookshop, gossip and call people my friends)

My latin and greek classmates are fun, really sweet people and I have to say I feel so comfy with them.

I am so lucky (and tired, and studying hard, even on the first week)!

I have been fixing up my notion and revising notes for the new school year today. Actually I —accidentally — deleted most of my notion, all of my greek and latin notes from last year are gone, luckily i had them written down on my notebook which i still have so i will try to get them all written down and intelligible before the school year starts. God, how I fear growing up, I wish the school year would never start and I could be 17 forever...

I have been listening to Motherthing on audible while i walked my dog because it was impossible for me to get through it. I kept reading frankenstein too.
