I prefer saying, "Hi," or "You're very pretty" (regardless of gender) or "I like your (insert whatever you noticed here)." Basically, I figure that I might survive if I try to befriend the monster. So far, my friends include La Llorona, the Bride of Frankenstein, a doll-eyed clown lady who wants to turn me into a lampshade, a ghost lady in a haunted lake who was outfitted by Satan himself, and a vampire bat who convinced me to eat the spider on my necklace.
