Sirius tried to carve info on the walls of his cell in Azkaban, after he starts to realize that one day he’ll forget Remus.

And although the dementors make him relieve his worst memories forever, nothing terrifies him more than the thought of forgetting Remus. He thinks about the way his lips had felt against his and he resists the urge to touch them, scared of losing the memory. He knows that he would feel the same pain he felt, when James died. So, that’s why he starts writting about Remus’ appearance. The colour of his eyes and hair, the way he tilts his head back when he smiles, the sound of his sweet laughter, habits, likes, dislikes... everything.

WALBURGA and SIRIUS

After one of their fights, she used crucio on him and he broke apart because he couldn’t handle the violence anymore. He packed his stuff, left and went to live with James Potter and his parents.

My Sirius Black Headcanons:

talked to the moon while in azkaban bc he missed remus

actually a huge softie

tough exterior but super sensitive on in inside

at one point the other marauders found out that he could speak french almost fluently and the one who loved it the most was remus

the first time james told him that he loves him and that he was like his brother, he cried bc no one had ever told him that they loved him before

gave remus a notebook, but only so he can read it when remus is asleep

while in azkaban, he would also transform into a dog every full moon. he would lie down and stare at the moon, hoping remus is okay and that makes it safely through the night

biggest drama queen hogwarts has ever seen

sleeps in remus' sweaters

wears a leather jacket instead of his robes and doesn't understand why mcgonagall tells him to “take that thing off”

always likes to hug everyone and his love language is physical contact

would blast muggle music when he was at 12 grimmauld place for the holidays just to piss off his blood prejudiced family

after graduating hogwarts, he finds out about muggle motorcycles and never uses floo again

black suits are his thing, but only when he isn’t wearing his leather jacket or his gryffindor robes

biggest heart. if he cares and loves you, he cares and loves very hard and deeply. when he says, he got you, he got you. literally for anything

Sirius is the type of person who randomly chills on the kitchen table just because he can.

Sirius is the kind of person who would write fanfics about himself and Remus before they got together

I’m writing this long-ass Wolfstar fan fiction and based on my personal headcanons, here’s the answer:

Yes and No. 

In my fanfic, and the way that I always see them in my head, we have an Indian (Gujarat) James Potter who’s stupidly in love with a plus-sized, snarky Lily Evans. 

We have a half-Japanese, genderqueer and gay Sirius Black who’s well known for being a blood-traitor ever since their second year, not to mention that they’ve been leaving people awe-struck every single time she feels like a girl and dresses in a feminine way. They’re also deaf in one ear. He suffers from panic attacks and childhood PTSD. NOTE: His family dynamic slightly changes to fit the story. They’re still from an abusive home, but there’s a lot more to it than just that. Sirius’ relationship with his parents - particularly her mother - will be brought up and explained.

We have a heavily-accented Welsh Remus Lupin, who’s scrawny and awkwardly tall that lowkey scares the shit out of everyone. He knits, but his scars and unpredictable aggressiveness that comes near full moons is enough to keep people away. He’s unlabebed but madly in love with Sirius. He’s also depressed, anxious, has low self-esteem, and daddy issues. Also, I made sure to bring up his relationship with his mother because I just love Hope Lupin and I just think she’d be an awesome mom. 

We also have Peter Pettigrew, who’s known for his fierce protectiveness for his younger sister, Jess (she’s a Slytherin, btw). He also probably has black lungs with the amount of cigarettes he smokes daily - he’s the reason why so many people even got cigarettes. He comes from a home where his parents are constantly at each other’s throats, so he’s never been able to see what love is supposed to look like when it’s healthy, but he’s working on that with a special Fem!OC. He’s depressed, has low self-esteem, and is constantly looking for someone to love him and prove himself to. 

As mentioned before, Lily Evans is a snarky, plus-sized queen. She’s also really fucking hilarious and has so many awesome prank ideas once she befriends the Marauders. She also befriends Regulus, and their dynamic is the absolute cutest. She likes the academic side of school, but it’s not the center of her world, leave that to James. She likes sneaking around with her friends at night just for the heck of it, she’s never been caught.

Marlene McKinnon is a trans woman who’s basically a lesbian version of Sirius Black. She was actually the fifth roommate of the Marauders’ until her third year. She’s always baking but Merlin save you if you piss her off or any of her friends. She’s one of the best Beaters and duelist Hogwarts has seen. She and Sirius are the definition of platonic soulmates. 

Dorcas Meadowes is a chaotic bisexual and also a raging feminist and activist that a lot of people don’t like because she’s “hard to talk to”. She’s loud, and bold, and constantly holding meetings with staffs so that they can improve the school to make it a safer environment for POCs students (and staff, too), LGBTQ+ folks, women, and literally every other minority. 

Mary MacDonald is a Korean ballerina who’s been on a violent streak ever since that group of Slytherins cornered her and...did some...things to her (it’ll be explained in the story, don’t worry). 

SO. Yes they were popular, but not in the way this fandom usually portrays them. They’re very well-known because they’re such an odd group filled with every possible outcast you could think of. Some of them (James, Lily, Peter, and Mary) are liked, but the rest are either feared or hated. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of people who genuinely like all of them and think them fun to be around, but Sirius, Remus, Marlene, and Dorcas are walking Change-That-They’re-Not-Ready-For and for a school that has so many homophobics, racists, ableists, and transphobics, it’s a struggle. 

BONUS:

Regulus is a half-Japanese, Hemophiliac Slytherin baby. (For those who don’t know, Hemophilia is a blood clot disorder that causes spontaneous bleeding and also excessive bleeding when injured - a lot of European royals have historically had this as a result of inbreeding). He would meet his brother and friends in secret just so that they could preserve their relationship. Regulus actually loved the Marauders & Co. and vice versa. There’s more but I don’t wanna spoil too much. I just love him. 

My Marauders Headcanons Pt. 4 ~ Peter Isaiah Pettigrew

Raised by a single mother who works very hard for her children

Middle Child Syndrome

He has an older brother and an older sister and a younger brother and a younger sister

The Pettigrew kids help raise each other to take some stress off of their mom

Peter is really close with his mom

His favorite class is herbology

Plant parent Peter canon

Is fully aware of James' soft spot for him

Has a special bond with Remus and he was on Remus' side after the prank

His favorite color is mustard yellow but he also likes light blue

Peter is the funniest marauder hands down

Can't handle being yelled at

Has a serious soft spot for animals

Terrified of losing his friends

Comes up with the excuses cus the other marauders can't

Sirius is over here trying to flirt their way out of trouble, James can't lie worth a shit, and Remus completely lacks creativity he'll come up with a great excuse 4-5 hours after the fact

But Peter has one immediately

The 110% would have gotten ×4 as much detention if it weren't for Peter

He was plus size but he wasn't all chub he had muscle too

It just wasn't visible

You could feel it though

Fancies girls with dark hair

Usually older

And most often a Ravenclaw

Hates sour sweets with a burning passion

Has just enough brown color in his hair to distinguish him from being blond

He's very sweet

His hair is often messy and if it's not at the beginning of the day than it will be at the end because James and Sirius like to ruffle it

He doesn't really like quidditch, I mean he goes to the games for James and Sirius, and to hear Remus' hilarious commentations but if they weren't there he probably would read a book next to the fire in the common room

Speaking of Peter's spot in the common room is closest to the fire

Everyone knows that

The smell and warmth comfort him

So when someone took Peter's spot one day Sirius gave them a death glare til they got so uncomfortable they let the common room altogether

He's the shortest Marauder not by much!

But he's still shortest :(

Sirius teases him about it constantly as if he's not only an inch and a half taller

He's very particular about that half inch too

He likes skateboarding

And his favorite dessert is basic chocolate chip cookies

He also has a button collection

My Marauders Headcanons Pt. 2 ~ Sirius Orion Black

Loves sour candy

Isn't really sure if he's a pure blood supremacist or not

He'd like to say he is as it distances himself from his family but he's truly not sure

If you're close to him it doesn't matter if you're a muggle born, a half blood, or a pure blood but if you're not then he can say some pretty nasty things be it as a joke or not

Smooth mf talker

Oh my good

He has a very charming, very nice laugh

His voice is smooth but also has this slightly raspy roughness which paired with his accent is extremely hot

Would've been a momma's boy if he could've

Punk Sirius black

Can actually cook really well

Cherry flavored things are his bbg

Biased towards Slytherin's bc not only are they going to be at least somewhat like his family Slytherin house also houses Snape

His alcohol of choice is tequila

Sleeps naked

Will throw a fucking bitch fit if he gets too hot

He has back dimples

And regular dimples

He has really flawless pale skin aside from his face where he has a few moles and ofc his tattoos

He's very toned and lean

His first tattoo was a sun in between his shoulder blades he didn't know why but when he got home, home where it was always cold and the people there were too he knew. He'd gotten for James, James who was always warm, James who's eyes and smile always shone so brightly, James who was the center of Sirius world, James who was the sun.

He was kicked out after he came home from getting the tattoo; drunk, and high off his mind, and worst of all ignoring his mother. To say Walburga had disapproved of his body modification was the understatement of the millennium. Sirius didn't even care so Walburga decided to make him care

Contrary to popular belief this was the first time things had ever gotten physical, Walburga had decided to give him a body modification he'd disapprove of

She grabbed the knife off the kitchen table and made her way over to Sirius who was basically delirious with laughter before realizing something foul was bound to take place. He began running up the stairs but that didn't stop his mother before he could get too far Walburga had grabbed hold of his collar and began cutting. Sirius thrashed and cried and begged for her not to cut his hair but she did anyway, she didn't even care for the cuts she left on him as he tried to get her to stop

When she was done she simply told him he wasn't her son anymore

She wanted nothing to do with him

And Sirius begged for something he didn't even know what for

He doesn't like shaving but he prefers to be free of hair

He's French, Russian, English, and Romanian

He likes to paint his nails black

Sirius LOVES shiny things

Like they make him so happy and giddy

Sirius also LOVES his motorbike

His favorite article of clothing is his leather jacket which is somehow still in pristine condition despite the fact Sirius basically wears it in the shower he has it on so much

Loves jewelry

Winter is his fav season

His love language is actually quality time closely followed by physical touch

He's very affectionate after he loves and trusts you completely

Despite all the abuse he suffered with his family Sirius actually really misses his mom bc she wasn't all bad

Walburga suffered the same abuse as a child and after Sirius found that out it made things even harder for him because she knew

She knew what it felt like to have this happen and she still chose to do this to him

Sirius was actually her favorite son and one of the ways she would punish him was giving all her attention to Regulus whilst giving him the cold shoulder

That always broke Sirius and he'd beg for his mother's forgiveness and attention

Sometimes if Walburga was feeling nice and his father wasn't home which was rarely ever but it did happen occasionally Walburga would allow Sirius to crawl in bed with her and lie his head on her chest while she combed her fingers through his hair

Despite the affection this still hurt Sirius because she'd never look at him, and she wouldn't even acknowledge when he spoke to her. Never returning his declaration of love so he learned to accept her seldom affection in silence

Walburga was somehow even harsher after these times as she learned to view love and affection as a weakness

Chronic ice eater

Loves music

Extremely talented singer

His mother forced him to learn piano and he hates that he likes it

Taught himself to play the guitar

He has a little book where he writes out songs, he's embarrassed of them and the only person who even knows about it is James

Suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder and James has been his FP for fucking ever

He also suffered from Survivor's guilt thinking about what happened to Regulus after he left

His relationship with James is way passed platonic but it's also not romantic either

He has very thin patience and gets frustrated quickly

Speaks French, Latin, and Russian fluently

Sirius hates labels
