Dive Deep into Creativity: Discover, Share, Inspire
I decided to create som AI generated art for the DSMP. Here’s some of the ones I like the best.
4/9/24
inspired by a guy walking by on the street. no, he was not surrounded by balloons. but ai thought he was and i think that's nice.
another eclipse haiku from 4/8/24
4/8/24
i wrote this one on a trip to see the solar eclipse this year. we were driving down the highway to get to the spot we had traveled so far to arrive at. to experience a miraculous three minutes and thirty-eight seconds. i felt like i could feel the anticipation in everything, even the other cars around us.
thanks for the artistic help with this one @cj-sass
a haiku i wrote after a walk along the shore on 4/7/24
4/6/24
I wrote this about getting breakfast with my mom and my brother after a night of camping for his birthday.

a haiku about taking a walk. really love the image that was generated for this one.
dancing in the kitchen, 4/4/24
indoor ocean, 4/3/24
this piece was inspired by a conversation I had with a kid. we were playing with some wooden toy fish and we spilled the whole box of them on the floor, and then he told me that the carpet was the ocean. i loved that imaginative moment. i've been in a few conversations about tapping into your inner child recently, and i myself have been trying to grasp onto more moments of imagination like we had so freely as children.
okay, but for real, this is my fav AI art piece that I've ever gotten from my haikus. gotta love the wombo dream app.
Happy April! And national poetry month!
I write this haiku about staying up late reading with my roommate.
For the third year in a row, I am writing haikus every day in April! This is my first one from April 1st. I will try to make one of these every day.
The ai app I use to make these just added a watermark which I was a little bummed about. Bahhh the gods of capitalist paywalls have smited me once again!
I hope you are all having a wonderful day :))
i wrote this poem in a car ride home from a music festival at the end of the summer. it one of those poems that i wrote because everything was so perfect in the moment and i had to write something down to capture the moment. :)
a classic i-don’t-fit-in poem
another haiku from april ❤️
I wrote this little poem based on a picture I took when I saw a cracked mirror on a Philly street in the rain. I then put the image though an ai art generator. I was so amazed at how beautifully it turned out, and so I wrote a short poem to go along with it.
finding calm in the 5-7-5 of it all

i wrote this one after getting off the phone with an old friend

it’s not a haiku guys! i wrote this a while back to be lyrics, but i thought i would have some fun in ai and make something to pair this writing with. not my usual topic to write about but it’s fun to switch it up :)
